Hi, I just purchased teh Photo Shop App and find it very linmited in what it can do.On line video show versions of Photo Shop with alot more features.The version I have cannot do simple tasks like revert colours.

This happened to me tonight. Could not fix. So I lost all my work. Found some solutions that worked for some folks, but none worked for me, though. Adobes products are getting worse and worse constant errors.

Hello,I use an Intuos Pro Wacom drawing tablet (A4). I've recently noticed (I don't know since which Photoshop update) that when I draw a line on the tablet with the Intuos Pen, there's a slight delay in the line appearing on the screen. I don't like that. Is this due to a setting in Photoshop, or what could be the cause? Perhaps an outdated graphics card (NVIDIA Gforce GTX 1050)?

Hi folks, This is a super basic question (I'm only a very occasional Photoshop user!). Please check the video below. I want to draw a gradient only on the selected layer, but when i click and drag, it creates a gradient layer above. How can i draw a gradient only on the selected layer? Thanks! 

Hi guys, Every time I use select and mask to refine my selection and output it as a new layer with mask, then disable the mask to look at the before, I get a bunch of artifacts on my image. Refining the mask using a brush with white or black doesn't work either. I'm attaching a picture for you to see.I'm on a MacBook Pro with an M2 Max chip and 96 GB memory.

When I try to download my edited image it remains at 66%

Hi everyone. When I choose a color in Photoshop (2026 Mac), either using the eyedropper or the "Color" window, it's selected as the background color. This never used to be the case; it simply became the foreground color. How can I set it to become the foreground color, as it was in previous versions? Perhaps there's a setting?

Hi, folks. I have a roughly one-thousand-layer Photoshop file, and I'd like to export all the layers as files (even if I have to do it in small batches), but I do not want  Photoshop to grab the entirety of the canvas, which it currently does with each file. The result of my exports is that I'll have one huge canvas with a tiny layer exported each time. I would like my layer and canvas to match in size. To be specific, my original document is about 150 inches by 92 inches. Each layer is roughly 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. When I run Export Layers to Files, I end up getting files where the smaller layer is placed within the entire 150-inch canvas. But what I want is for each exported layer to match the layer size, not the canvas size. In other words, I want each exported layer to be roughly 2.5 by 3.5 inches. Is this possible? I'm using Photoshop for Mac, 27.1.0. Thanks!

The file in question is 90.7 mb, and i can open files much larger than it is without a problem. Is there a workaround for this somehow?

This is a bug fix / feature request.When creating a simple pattern – like a 8x8 noise for example – and creating a Pattern Layer, rotating it by let's say 45° and scaling it by 800%, we can see discontinuities at the edges, where the pattern should tile. The bicubic sampling doesn't work across the original pattern's boundary, which defeats the purpose of creating a tilable pattern in the first place.Also, it would be nice to choose the interpolation method and the boundary behavior (mirror, clamp, extend, repeat, etc.) like other apps do, like Blender when it samples a texture inside a shader.Also also, it would be better if you allowed a higher maximum value for the Scale, 1000% (10x) is not a lot.

I am using Photoshop 27.1  with MacOS Tahoe 26.1 and for the first time ever Photoshop is freezing on me while working with adjustment layers. I have to force quit and then end up with a recovered file. Is there anything to help stop this? Thank you for any assistance.

I have enabled automatically save recovery information every 5 minutes. But when my mac crashed, i found no autosave file and i then checked the preference and found the autosave is disabled now. Why is this happening? 

Hi everyone ! I have issues about lags and slow in photoshop all version . I'm usually using "27.1" ver.but when i trying to change scale image or simple action its get slow and start laging. My system is :CPU: ryzen 5 7500fGPU: GEFORCE RTX 4060RAM: 32 GB RAMSSD: M2 1TBHDD: 1 TBalso I'm giving  %70 ram in ps to using but when i try simple action , ps using my cpu %80 up or using ram %98 , i done everything any idea : Like reseting ps or other setting but its not worked PLEASE HELP MEE!!

As someone who works professionally many years as a concept artist in film/games/tv/tech as a concept artist using photoshop and other adobe software I'd like to know from Adobe what is the future of Drawing to adobe? I feel adobe is a great "editing/AI generating/selecting" software company but the artistic aspects of art like drawing Im curious to know where adobe see's that heading as a company? Where does Adobe stand on drawing innovations in the future for artist using their software? Especially with AI taking over so many creative jobs.Just curious! Wish we had a known spokesperson or president who addresses these things like Nvidia, Tesla, Apple do! Put Terry Lee in charge he would be great haha. But seriously I'd love to know what adobe thinks about the future of drawing, because its such an important part of a lot of concept artist jobs. 

I have been running Mac OS Ventura for the past 3 years on my Mac Pro 2O19 Intel because I have a couple apps that will not run on newer versions. When I upgraded to version 27 of Photoshop, I got an Adobe message something like "To have access to all the new features of Photoshop, you should upgrade your Mac OS to the latest version".So, I took the leap and upgraded to Mac OS Sonoma yesterday and when I launched Photoshop, I got he same message!What OS do I have to install to eliminate that message? Sequoia? Tahoe? More important what new features am I missing with Sonoma?

Rgb deafults to s-rgb whereas my working space colour settings are adobe 1998. Surely this should default to my working space.

For some reason, when I add a heading, subheading, or a text. The letters just don't show, it's invisible. I don't know how to fix this.

Does anyone ever get the message: "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart....""Stop code Kmode exception_not_handled".Happens about once a week when working in PS. 

I have an image, 3240x1350 px, guides enabled at three columns (making a seemless panorama for instagram).  I add an image, resize it appropriately, crop to canvas size, delete cropped pixels checked.  I hit enter, image crops, all good.  I then go to Filters and AI Denoise and click.  AI does its thing, and when finished, it has denoised the entire original image, and compressed the entire original image height into the new canvas height, giving the effect that the image has been squashed and looks terrible.  No matter what I try, the issue persists.  No matter how I crop, the AI Denoise filter somehow gets a hold of the original image then crams it into the new canvas size.e

Is there a web page or video explaining how the crop tool works now? I have it set it a ratio (16:9) for video production. I want to use my cursor to draw the general area I want the crop to be. I think this is how Photoshop crop used to work in the past. Now, when I try to use my cursor to draw the area, Photoshop crops wrong and I have to keep undoing. It's extremely frustrating as I'm needing to crop specific areas of dozens of newspaper articles for a docuseries I'm an Assistant Editor on. Please help, this is driving me nuts. 

Why I can't save the pictures in jpg anymore ? It doesn't give that option and it saves it automatically in jxl. Thanks to those who can help me.

I'm using Image processor to batch convert eps files to psd in Photoshop 2026 Mac.My files have an asterisk (*) in their names, but they get replaced by underscores (_) in the exported files.Is there a way to prevent this (unwanted) substitution?
