I've tried EVERYTHING on the adobe site troubleshooting but am still getting error code 146 when I try and re-install Elements 2021 on my mac. I have a license for Photoshop Elements 2022 for PC that I don't use. Can I use the license key if I download the software on my Mac?

Hi All! I have a really old version of Photoshop Elements 5.0.......so old, that I had to download a virtual XP OS to use it! Bought it on Disc online. This version works very well for my uses, and I'd rather not move to another version.     I downloaded some brush files for using in projects and now, when I click on the "dry media brushes" it opens up with one of the files I downloaded, instead of the original dry media brushes. Same thing with "basic brushes"....now it opens with a new downloaded file of brushes! I tried deleting the new brushes from the folder on my C drive, but they are still in my photoshop program. I've also tried doing the reset brushes from the preset manager, but it doesn't restore my dry media brushes...it takes me to my default brushes option. The dry media brushes are still visible in the program files, but when I tried to load them as "replace brushes" in the system, they just keep on being the new downloaded brushes.Akkkkk...I can work

I'm thinking about buying elements and I'm not sure if the program will interfere with the way I store and share my photographs

When I choose to sort by Newest, I don't see my images in the correct sequenceRather bizarrely, if I choose to sort by Oldest it appears to be in the correct sequence.Has anyone else encountered this problem? Using Sort by Name also shows the correct sequence (like by Oldest)  - all the images have come from the same sdxc card from the same camera (ie; the file name are in an unbroken sequential sequence). I also checked the date/time stamp of the images and they are accurate.I see images from the morning of 24-Jan-24 being shown before the evening of 24-Jan-24 when using sort by Newest. Weird!Hopefully it's a bug that can be corrected soon.....🤞    

I have photoshop elements 11 and i cannot open my camera raw files in it because camera raw is only version 7.4.  is there a way that i can open raw files in my photoshop elements to work on them ?

I'm going crazy.example:I have three layerslayer 3layer 2layer 1From the layers menu I select layer 1 (which is below layer 2 and 3) and when I want to move it with the move tool, layer 3 moves, I have to hide layers 2 and 3 to be able to move layer 1, no I know if this can be deactivated since this did not happen to me before.thanks

I have PSE 2024 installed on a new  computer. I have/had my previous catalog backed up then restored on an external hard drive, all done on a previous version of PSE. I have not converted it yet in PSE 2024, it seems to function as is right now with 2024.when I do go to convert (see screen shots) when I pick it out from the list nothing much happens. A empty convert catalogs dialog box pops up. if I click find more catalogs box I go to a windows file explore window. If I highlight and click my catalog 1111 there I go back to an empty convert catalog dialog box, but now it shows previous converted catalogs option check box! If I click that my Catalog 1111 pops up, but with a converted date from way way before I even installed PSE 2024 on my computer....? My old PSE was 2018 I believe...? (that computer crashed) Question is I thought each years version of PSE required a catalog convert when upgrading to a newer version. My catalog name is still the same as it was before. Can anyone

I took pictures with my new camera Panasonic DMC-FZ2000. Now I cannot open a rw2 file in Photoshop elements 8. How can I fix this?

Photoshop Elements 2024 layers menu options grayed out layers not working works fine in PSE 2023

My current Catalog is ten plus years of various PSE years additions/upgrades restored Catalogs from over the years of restoring and it has become a mess of a Folder tree! Grayed out Folders and previous un-used drive letters & folders and file paths from way back I can see but cannot delete or remove any of it anyway I can find. How can I remove all this old junk from my catalog folder tree and just have the present used position of my photo folders in my Catalog and nothing else..?

I have just installed Elements 2024 and have started importing my iCloud images which contained jpg, jpeg, and heic formats. From the start I was able to create a backup after each session, however, somewhere down the line I stated to get indications that some of my files could not be found and that I should "reconnect". This resulted in a list of around 15 files which were missing and could not be reconnected. Their thumbnails contained a small black square with a questionmark in it and the upper right conrner cut off. The thumbnails are there in Elements, however, they are missing from my iCloud Photos folder. I have checked my iPhone and the images seem to be there (HEIF-format). This may not be relevant but In order to simplify handling, after a while, I read that jpg and jpeg were synonymous so I renamed the few jpeg files I had in my iCloud folder (Windows 11) to jpg. How should I proceed because each time I try to create a backup I get the message to reconnect to missing files?

Videos that were shot with my Panasonic DMC-FZ28 will not show video only audio in PEOrganizer 24. When imported in Premiere Elements 2024 they are fine. These play fine in Windows Media Player and  in Organizer I get only a white screen and audio. MOV files shot with other devices play fine. I have an older Adobe Photoshop Elements [version 13]It works well. It still has more years on it. Something changed in the last update. Whenever I open the application on my computer, a WELCOME to Photoshop Elements window pops up. I have attached that image to view. I clicked on "To change preference now" click here and it takes me to my account's data and privacy settings. There are NO options for settings. Image attached.How do I get to SETTINGS for Adobe Photoshop Element 13? I want to turn off sharing. Where is the option to change the setting? I am advanced in my computer skills but for some reason This application is not showing me it's list of settings. Please if you have a moment to share your knowledge with me. Hello!  Every time I use my PSE 15 organizer and/or editor, I get constant pop ups of upgrading or purchasing adobe items.  I can't figure out how to stop these pop ups.  Can anyone help me please...

Hi, just got a Canon SX70, i use Photoshop Elements 2022, Windows 11, no new updates for Elements 22. I save pic files as jpg and raw. When i open the raw version in Elements, it is slightly cropped compared to the jpg version, there are some pixels missing on all sides. Tried to change crop options when opening raw (as original), did not help. When i open the raw files in other apps (Irfanview or a Canon program), there is no crop. Thanks for the help!

I'm guessing PS elements is pulling up hundreds of fonts  - multiple languages (that don't even show up in my word processor).  It's almost impossible to do art with text when it takes forever to scroll through them all.  I tried to erase/hide them in the fontbook but the Mojave OS won't let me.  I get this error message on almost every one.  I've read on the adobe groups that you can't remove fonts in mojave.  I probably only use about 20 of them.  There must be a way... 

After 5 hours of trying to install PSE 2024 (after 2 hours of trying to make PSE 9 work that has faithfully served me since 2010), I gave up. Neither the installer, or cloud app installer, woul install PSE 2024.  The stand alone installer would hang on 2% or 10%, and the cloud app installer would hang on loading home or apps.  I tried everything in the repair guidance.1/ turn off firewall2/ try wired instead of wifi3/ turn off anything antivirus or that intercepts file or internet connections4/ run the cleaners5/ start disabling other services6/ install latest drivers and windows update (or remove 23h2, that I did, that made no difference, and now can't re-install)and from the internet7/ repair all vc++ distributables8/ run sfc and disms Nothing worked.  And the final recommendation of a clean Windows 11 install... I will just use Gimp in a pinch, or my tombstoned Windows 10 machine with pse 9). It was disheartening to see I am not the only one with this proble
