Presets are not showing up and I cannot create new presets. I have tried. Reinstalling, delete cache, move ES folder to desktop, copy paste older version into 26.0.1, opened a new project to test. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. DT

No matter what I try, the blur effect in premiere wont track an object. It stays at 0% and just says “Progress…”. I have tried nesting the clips, clearing the cache, increasing them decreasing the speed of the clip, and more. Nothing works. AND I’m having to do this on an older version of premiere because the newest update HAS NO ELLIPSE TOOL AT ALL???? I am getting robbed from this program, I spend way too much time working around bugs and glitches over actually editing. Someone please help here :(  how can I track objects with the blur????

I have a handful of presets that zoom or pan that I like to make minor changes to depending on the video. After updating to 26.0 changing the scale value under these presets will change the key frames back to linear and completely mess up the zoom. Is there a way to turn this off in the preferences, or maybe a way to prevent it from happening?

I am using the New Premiere (v26.0) version. I am unable to add any transitions from the Film Impact Dashboard. When i try to apply it between two clips, it gives me the following message: "Transition not applied on all clips or sides". Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

When I replace a watermarked music clip with an unwatermarked version in my Premiere Pro project, it plays back fine as the unwatermarked version during editing. However, after rendering the final video, the audio reverts to the watermarked version.When I render the final video again a few days later, this situation no longer occurs.This consumed a lot of time..😭 using premiere v25.6

The zoom level in the Program monitor will be changed if the user enters “Trim” view. Currently trying out UXP in Premiere Pro 26.2.0 (BETA). I am trying to add some keyframes to a ComponentParam. I am simply getting access to the Motion Component and grabbing the Bottom Crop param. In the example below I am trying to:Set a keyframe with value 50% at 0 seconds Set another keyframe with value 40% at 5 secondsI’ve debugged the values and they all look correct to me, but after executing this code I do not see all of the keyframes. It seems to just set the ComponentParam value as if there wasn’t multiple keyframes.In the image below you can see that the value is set to 40% (the last keyframe I set), and it also looks like keyframing is enabled, but no keyframes actually appear on the timeline. It seems to be completeley ignoring the time I set. I’m extremely frustrated.I have a nearly two hour film that I’m trying to copy to an SSD for the colorist. The footage is RAW 4k, so very big files. The complete project is almost 7 TB but I assume the timeline that I’m transferring is a fraction of that.I’ve tried to copy the files with the Project Manager twice now. The first time, it simply copied over all of the proxies over about two hours. It said that the original media was offline. So, I detached all proxies and relinked the original footage.The second time, it went through the “Analyzing” phase fine, and went along with the copying phase for a while. But at about 40 percent, the progress bar got stuck. I decided to leave it for as long as I could, but it didn’t move for four hours!When I finally cancelled, I checked to see if there were any new error messages. But there was nothing. Hi, I hate the idea of having to consolidate media after duplicates appear just because I’ve imported some media into my project. I prefer to drag and drop from Explorer as I find it easier to find the right media within my own file structure.  I’ve tested with “Allow Duplicate media during project import” checked and un-checked.I’ve tested with XMP ID checked and un-checked.I’ve tested with importing files from Media Browser panelI’ve tested it with Premiere pro 2024, 2025, and 2026All just continue to duplicate media within my project files and bins. 6 years ago I could swear this never happened, and now it does. Is there a solution? I have had no issues with Premiere Pro and not, this week, every time I try to open it on my PC I get the attached error:The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140_ATOMIC_WAIT.DII was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.I have uninstalled/reinstalled Premiere Pro several times now. I am not sure what else to do. Please help!

Audio Playback Issue Description:When I play video clips in the Premiere Pro timeline, the audio will begin playing normally but then cuts out after approximately 2–3 seconds. The video continues to play without interruption, but the audio stops completely. Additionally, the audio meters in Premiere stop moving once the audio cuts out.Important Context: System audio works normally in all other applications (YouTube, system sounds, etc.). The issue only occurs within Premiere Pro. The problem happens consistently with imported video clips. Troubleshooting Steps Already Attempted: Reset Premiere Pro preferences. Hello !The new Stroke effect (from film impact) is great but don’t work as it should (at least in my opinion)It seems that without that pre-scale settings, the stroke don’t appear (unless your crop, see in red, the rounded crop). It’s not really easy to manage, i need to adjust the prescale and border size each time to have something clean, and even with that, it’s often not perfect.Why it’s not just an outline of the current size, like the drop shadow, a outline adding ? Would be cool if it can be in this way.Thanks !  

Looking for a best-practice workflow question here. I have a sit-down interview clip (camera video + scratch audio), and I recorded clean lav audio separately to internal storage (DJI Mic 2). I manually synced the lav WAV files to the camera clip in the timeline. So in my sequence, I now have:  1 video clip (camera) Multiple synced lav audio tracks underneath (muted scratch audio) Everything lined up and working properly   Now I’m trying to organize my project better. What I want: I’d like to create some kind of “container” in the Project panel where this synced setup lives as one reusable item — so I can:  Put it into bins (e.g., “Sit-Down Interviews,” “Walk-and-Talks,” etc.) Drag it into new timelines Have all the synced audio tracks follow automatically Avoid exporting or rendering new media if possible   Basically: I want to treat this synced setup like a single reusable master clip that I can drop into other sequences. What’s the cleanest, most professional way to do thi

Issue: Text keeps bugging and sometimes crashing Premiere 2026 when trying to edit the Font (any Font) or Font Size. Hi Adobe,I’ve already rolled back to Premiere Pro 2024 because the 2025 version is, frankly, unusable for professional work. It’s bloated with half-baked AI features nobody asked for, and the core editing experience has taken a massive hit in stability and performance. If I wanted TikTok-style auto-edits and AI junk, I’d be using CapCut for free.What I actually need is a fast, reliable, predictable editing platform that respects my workflow. Not experimental tools shoved into the UI at the expense of speed and precision.This constant push to reinvent the wheel every year without listening to your core user base is exhausting. Please stop prioritizing gimmicks over functionality.At the very least, make older, stable versions more easily accessible. And listen to the editors who made Premiere what it is not the marketing buzzwords.P.S. I'm just one more frustrated user, watching Adobe get worse every single year.

This is one of the most frustrating things I've encountered from Adobe Premiere. The Dynamic Link breaks every time I save a project in After Effects. I will save my "linked" After Effects project, go back to Premiere and it breaks the link EVERY TIME. This has been going on so long I just re-link it every time and say "Im switching to Da Vinci". I have the most up to date Premiere and After Effects.    This doesn't happen just once, or right after I open the program. No names are changed, no locations of projects or files change, just every time I hit save....boom, Premiere blows up.   This is unacceptable from a company like Adobe and I can't believe this hasn't been fixed.    See link. I have issues with exporting clips I edited some months ago. I have these issues in Premiere Pro as well as with the Media Encoder.   Interestingly, Premiere and Encoder are sometimes able to render the clips, sometimes not. When I export the material in full HD, the video looks OK, but when I export in HD the video looks grainy When the Media Encoder is unable to render the video, closing & reopening seems to help sometimes. Until about 6 months ago, I used to be able to create Premiere Pro Projects compiled from diverse sources, including screenshots, different movie file formats, and audio mixes. Since then, as you can see from the four screenshots below, whenever I try to Render & Replace even a single mp4 project, after the messages 'Analyzing Project' and then 'Transcoding Project', an Encoder Failure error message appears - every single time. In the project folder, a short 'rendered' version of the original .mp4 file appears. The same happens when I try to Export the project to any format. This is occurring on both Mac and Windows platforms across several different machines, including Desktop and Laptop. I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro through my staff account at Edinburgh University.

I have a Logitech MX Master mouse that I use on a Windows 11 computer.I'm having an issue with Premiere where a panel installed by Logitech’s mouse software keeps appearing in every project I open. If I close it, it reappears after a short time.I’ve try every suggestionssolve this problem, but non of them work for me.It's extremely annoying and gets in the way of Premiere's functions.Any tips?
