Lordy me I've tried so hard to get this right with multicams and audio tracks. I'm cutting a film that in any given scene as 1 to 10 actors mic'd up. It is inconsisten which actors are on which channel. Often times the sound mixer would record with 10 channels running, but only 2 actors are speaking, so when building/syncing my clips in a multicam sequence, I'd go through and delete the empty or noisy tracks. I'd even then go to modify>audio channels to make sure the sequence didn't retain 10 channels when I now only had, say, 6 that I needed (I'm using 'channels' and 'tracks' kind of interchangeably here). So here's my problem: now that I'm editing, my eliminating those tracks in the multicam doesn't seem to matter – they still show up in my edit sequence. Where the audio is in the multicam sequence seems to be irrelevant – when I pull it into my sequence it is referencing the original tracks. So after all that work, every time I splice in a new clip into my edit I have
I have imac 2017 with mac OS Ventura 13.7.2...Will the latest version of premiere pro work in it??
I have a bunch of WW2 newsreels where some of them have these huge film borders. I know I can crop the scenes manually in the Effect Controls window. But I have an enormous amount of footage like this, and it would take ages. Does anyone know of a plugin that can do this automatically, with AI perhaps, cropping out the unused part of the film frame??? Thank you very much in advance.
I'm somewhat of a beginner in Premiere Pro. Have made several videos, know the basics of sequences and editing. But to now, I've always used hi def (4K) video. Now, I'm trying to make a sequence which mixes new video (3840 x 2160) with converted Hi-8 tape, at 720 x 480. My sequence starts with the 4K video. When I try to drag a lower definition video onto the timeline, it won't let me (the circle/slash symbol). It *does* let me drag the audio onto the sequence. How can I mix old and new video? Surely this is something that is commonly done. BTW, the frame rates are slightly different as well - 23.976 for the 4K stuff, 29.97 for the older video.
Hi! I've been an Avid editor for 15 years and am just learning Premiere. So far, I'm loving it, but there's one thing I'm really struggling with. A huge part of my workflow in Avid used to be to be hitting Command+A to toggle selecting (or deselecting) all tracks. This included all audio and video tracks and worked the same for source or timeline, depending on which you have activated. I've tried programming the keyboard, but Premiere distinguishes between audio and video tracks... and more than that between source and timeline tracks... which would require remembering/using 4 different keyboard shortcuts as opposed to the one I'm used to. (When you hit command+a, it simply selects the entire timeline, and that's not really helpful for me).Any tips for either a solution to make command+a work like I'm used to, or how I should map my keyboard settings to make selecting all tracks faster would be much appreciated. Thanks!(I'm working in Premiere
I'm currently working on a long form (2 hours) multicam edit that will rely on transcription to create subtitles for the final product. I've completed the multicam, and exported the transcript to be checked by external reviewers. The original language is in Japanese.I've recieved the corrected transcript, which I checked for formatting errors and found none. However, re-importing the new transcript results in an unusable edit. While the first few lines are correctly imported, after the sixth line, the entire rest of the transcript is dumped into one segment, rendering it useless. This had brought the project to screeching halt, and I'm looking at the possibility of having to manually cut and paste hundreds of line of dialogue if there's no fix for this. I've attached the corrected transcript in case there's something I missed. All help appreciated.
How do I change permanently the save location of my projects. It keeps saving my export and my auto saves on to my onedrive and I rather have it on my computer. is it even possible to have another default location. I have adobe premiere pro. thank you and appreciate any feedback.
Hi did this ever get resolved? I am having the exact same issue. Clips work fine in Davinci Resolve however.
I'm trying to create a rectangular mask that will hide the logo, which has motion keyframes in order to move down into view from behind the mask. But everytime I try to play the animation, the mask moves with the logo. The sequence of events as shown in the screenshots is as follows:1) Move Logo to start position (where I want it hidden by mask) and create motion keyframe2) Move Logo to end position (where I want it revealed) and create motion keyframe3) Add Ease in to keyframes to smooth the motion4) Create rectangular mask5) Mask appears over text at the 'reveal' position6) Move playhead to start of motion7) Logo moves back to start position, but mask moves with it.There's bound to be something obvious I'm missing, or a box I've forgotten to check or something. Can anyone give some advice please?Btw I'm using Pr 2023 v23.6.9 (build 4)
I'm having issues importing a few .wav files into Adobe Premiere Pro, despite them being supported formats. Here was my workflow:The audio files were captured on a Mac using Quicktime Audio Capture, and came out as .aifc files. These files don't appear to be supported in Premiere Pro so...I opened the .aifc file in Adobe Audition, did some noise correction, and saved as a .WAV fileNow I cannot import either the original .aifc nor the .wav file despite being supported files. I get the message "Unsupported Format or Damaged File" I read in another threat that maybe the original formatting was retained and not supported in premiere? How can I correct this? I really need these audio files imported...
I am having major issues following the most recent update to Premiere Pro. When I've attempted to create a new sequence within a project, audio is very glitchy; A1 is only left, A2 is right and there is no way to adjust the Audio Channels. No audio tracks on A3 are audible whatsoever. And worst of all, I have had Premiere crash several times moments after opening it and trying to work on a project. My original sequences on projects work fine. It seems this is only impacting a second sequence within a project. Right now I cannot open Premiere without it crashing, which is a major issue given the deadline I am working under.
Testing Premier Pro colour interpretations:I started with a jpg image which is a windows 10 screenshot of a blue colour. From this I have:1) imported into P'shop, cropped and *saved (as jpg, default colour space srgb)2) *exported as jpg (same colour space etc)3) saved as a psd file.4) imported into lightroom, cropped and exported (srgb)All these files (including the original screenshot) have an identical colour when viewed in Windows photo viewer, Lightroom and photoshop. However, when imported into Premier Pro, the exports ( 2) and 4) are interpreted as a paler blue. Can anyone shed light?
My PC crashed during and exportI had been playing Media Player during the export which I think caused the PC to crashWhen I got the PC back on and opened the Project the sequence I was working on was not even there at al!!This was 3-4 hours of work editing... if there is any way to recover it please let me know... i can't find the sequence anywhere in my files
I have a sequence with the video attributes that I already changed, before when I double clicked on the clip, and dragged the videos from the source monitor the attributes were maintained, but now every time I want to do that the attributes go back to as if I had not made any changes. Does anyone know what could be happening? Thanks
Version of the app - latest available - 23.4Platform and OS version - Windows 11 x64 on the latest updates as of 16/06/2023Hello there, this is an incredibly frustrating bug that I'm dealing with.I have an Nvidia RTX 3090 GPU on the latest Studio drivers from Nvidia, paired with an AMD Ryzen 5950x, an NVME SSD and 32GB of fast DDR4 ram.The option 'H264/HEVC hardware accelerated decoding' is enabled in Preferences but it has no effect.I can verify in Task Manager that when scrubbing/playing a HVEC file on the Timeline in Premiere, there is 0% utilisation on the Video Decode, despite the media being in a format that is supported by both Nvidia and Premiere as per the documentation. This leaves me with laggy performance in the Timeline unless I use proxies, the use of which drastically slows down my workflow. If I play the same file in another app such as VLC media player, I can confirm that the Video decoder is being utilised properly in that application. There is no problem with the vide

When I am editing the voiceover in Premiere Pro it sounds pretty good, but after I export the video to an mp4 it sounds like I'm speaking in a large empty auditorium. Why does it sound so different than when I am editing it and how do I fix it? If the audio isn't going to sound the same once I export it, the audio editors in Audition and Premiere become useless.
Hi, I have been using Premiere Pro for a few years to stitch videos together. But in the last few months lots (but not all) videos won't export. If a time somes up in media encoder it just sits on 22768 something hours to go. There are no errors (so no errors or crash reports to share). I have already worked my way through the suggestions given on the help pages (e.g. updates, changing settings, different file formats, etc on How to fix issues that cause errors when rendering or exporting). Anyone ever had this problem and found something that worked? Thanks
I have developed an AI application that automatically obscures sensitive areas in images to facilitate appropriate content moderation. I am considering integrating this functionality into a plugin to enhance user experience. I have three questions:1. The plugin enables users to utilize machine learning models that automatically obscure sensitive areas. While the plugin itself does not include any explicit or sensitive content, the model was trained on a dataset containing such images. Does this comply with Adobe’s policies?2. Is this policy applicable only when distributing the plugin through the Creative Cloud Marketplace, or does it also apply when distributing the plugin via our own commerce platform?3. When distributing the plugin through our website or commerce platform (not using the Marketplace), do we need permission from Adobe, or are there any associated fees?
save or other option are not showinghow can i fix it ?
I have a few adjustments layer related questions: 1. I can't add it from the File tab, it appears grayed out 2. Whenever I create it, it's created right away with the time remapping effect applied on it 3. It's just... not working. I tried changing the scale on the adjustment layer so that it would affect the clip beneath it, but nothing's changed
So there is an number counting animation motion graphic template on https://adobebasics.com and I bought it and it didn't work. I contacted the owner, and he spent hours trying to help me fixing the bug and really didn't give up. He then suggested changing my Premiere pro language from Spanish to english and the motion graphic template worked. So the problem is that on certain premiere pro languages text on mogrts doesn't show at all. I tried different fonts, cleaning cache, restarting premiere and all the usual stuff. But the language was the problem. I don't know if it has something to do with that he exported the MOGRT in english, but it's definitively something that needs to be adressed. So adobe please fix the text issue that is happening on certain motion graphics. on the attached images, you can't see the text on the spanish version, but on the english version it works.
basic 3d when using cuda:swivel or rotate on a 4K+ video and the edges disappear (facepalm)Transform on a 4K+ video - change the shutter angle and the layer becomes entirely in the wrong place. Like it has swapped its central coordinates for an edge. Trying to fix it by changing the anchor point doesn't work because any movement (the reason why you chose a new shutter angle!) is blurred from the wrong point.I'm only writing this bug report whilst premier renders a sequence that I've applied these effects to rendering out via software. It feels like 2010 all over again. 😕😕
