 I am facing this problem while rendering my video. Need help for solution.

When the direct manipulation option is enabled, during playback, when I select a clip, the playback stops. When I turn this option off it doesn't happen.The problem is that this option cannot be turned off permanently, after some time it turns on randomly.Is there an option to completely disable the direct manipulation option so that it never turns on again if I don't want it?If not, will adobe fix this option to not stop playback when playing back clips or simply make the option turn on only when playback is turned off

Adobe Premiere transcription problems/improvement suggestion: (This following is all on good quality dialogue using good mics, clear British accents, no background noise, etc). 1. Biggest problem that takes a lot of time to correct - punctuation is poor, it often puts a full-stop in unnatural places (that should be a comma, for a sub-clause in a sentence), but then it does not capitalise the first word in the following sentence (whether correctly or incorrectly a new sentence). This seems a simple coding fix..? If This Then That. Then I wouldn’t need to go in and correct as often.Many times in spoken language, a comma, or a new sentence doesn't matter so much for understanding the dialogue. but a full stop then no capitalisation breaks the flow and often creates ambiguity in meaning. sometimes requiring a second read of a sentence. (See what I did there).Also, my clients often want grammatically correct captions/transcriptions! Hi folks,I recently had to move some media for an ongoing project to a different location.  I know it's not optimal to move things mid-project but my client requested it because they manage the media drives.   I made sure I had the exact new path and was able to relink it easily the next time I opened the project.Problem is, now every time I reopen the project, it shows as missing media and makes me relink it again.  I've relinked media many times on other projects, and usually once I've relinked it, it stays relinked and the project finds the media.  For some reason, this project is requiring me to relink every single time I open it.Since I know the path it's more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'd prefer it didn't happen.Am I missing something obvious?

Reduce interlace tool is missing from the effects tab. Very frustrating as i was using the tool yesterday, and today its missing. Help! 

No matter what delicate matrix of drives I tried to assign cache files to etc, I simply could NOT get Premiere Pro 2025 (25.4.1 running on a MBP M1 2020 with OS Sequoia, 16 GB Ram) to playback for more than a fraction of a second without dropping frames.  Didn't matter what type of media, fx or no fx, Full quality pb half or 1/4...     So I tried opening the same media on my old MBP Intel with Mac OS Monterrey and PPro 2024.  Plays TOTALLY FINE with no dropped frames.  (and no special cache settings btw.)   Hm, thought me.     So I downloaded PPro 2024 latest version to the same MBP M1 I was originally getting dropped frames on, dutifully xml'd the sequence over to a new project in 2024..... and it plays back JUST FINE.  Adobe, can you please explain this, and let us know when 2025 will be able to playback at the same quality of 2024?  Or does anyone out there know something I don't about 2025 to magically get it to play back without dr

On my laptop, it used to be that, when I cut in a clip from the source monitor, it would switch to the program monitor. Now, when I cut in a clip from the source monitor, it stays on the source monitor, so I have to keep switching over to the program monitor manually. Is there a setting where I can restore the default behavior?

Hey everyone how's it going, so recently i decided to improve my editing skills and i noticed one thing that if i create presets of everything the time is saved a lot.Have you guys ever seen that shake effect that comes in gaming video? and that text pop up that feels way smoothif someone have any presets for that please consider providing it will help a loti tried to make it myself but it isn't feeling good

Hello, Maybe Is it possible to give the "text" feature (one popping up when you press T and click on the video preview) to get the option "Opaque" from the base Paint in windows?Like this:  Goal is to have the text have a (background) that erases everything behind that text, in a rectangle style.In this case in paint in the right we obtained a white rectangle that replaces what was behind it (black color)In PPRO, the background rectangle would replace everything happening on the video preview.

I got a question. I want to fade the text in and out. I can't seem to do it with captions so I made text layers, but it seem like i need to change the placement and style for every item itself.   

I've tried copy/paste into a new sequence, and the text position was off.After inspecting the new sequence, I've noticed it's the same.So I've tried pasting in the same sequence, and the same problem occurs. 1st time I've experienced this.Attaching video. Does anyone know what's happening here?Restart didn't help:)

Hi everyone, I’m trying to generate subtitles automatically from a video I recorded in Adobe Premiere Pro, but I can’t find Czech as an available language in the “Speech to Text” or caption generation settings. Is there any way to automatically generate Czech subtitles from the video  maybe through an additional language pack, workaround, or integration with another tool? Thanks in advance for any advice or tips!

When you hover over a tool, the tool tips does not show up.  When you click on the Workspaces or New Item buttons, the menu pops up for a moment, but goes away before you can select anything.  Here are some steps I have tried:Made sure Tool Tips was enabled in the Preferences > General menuReset preferencesDisabled third-party pluginsChanged to OpenCL, and Software Only for graphicsUpdated graphics card driversUninstalled and reinstalled earlier versions of 2025 When I install Premiere Pro 2024, they all work fine.  I am a teacher with a computer lab and this happens on all of the computers.  Very frustrating.

Hello,I am not sure if I have already asked about this, it seems a question I might have wanted the answer for but I don't recall any method to do it so perhaps not,I would like to know if it's possible to permanently reduce or alter the volume of an audio track?I know we have the MUTE button for it, but I want to change the volume of that audio track forever (in my project) until I remove that option.And that would work for any clips on that audio track, new items or not, it MUST WORK LIKE THE MUTE BUTTON but instead alter the volume (up or down) (amplify effect I guess)I just want it to stay and not apply it again and again on new clipsFor example on that track.

Anyone having issues with 25.5 and transcribing?I've been using the transcription tool for years. It's been nearly flawless for me for 18-24 months except for one update that was fixed quickly.Essentially, the transcription tool is "shitting the bed".  I have several 6-10 minute interviews and the transcript is missing 99% of the interview. Showing elipses that sometimes span :10s+.Audio is fine on the clips. All English speaking Americans. I've done nothing different from what I've done the last 4+ years.Anyone else having issues? I'm about to uninstall/reinstall as reseting prefs has not worked.

Hi, When I add keyframes to a video clip for time remapping, this helpful dotted line appears in the timeline where the keyframes are. The problem is that my students do not see these lines under the keyframes and they would like to. How do I toggle it on and off? They can see keyframes in the timeline, but not with the dotted line. We are all working in Premiere 2025, but mine is a few versions older than theirs. I'm in 25.1 and they are 25.5 See screenshot for the line I'm speaking of. Thanks for your help.

I've been editing an hour, but then I put a music background, and do something, caption somehow are disappear. Is this a bug, or I hidden it. If it does, what should I do?

it's driving me crazy why perfect straight alpha exports give banding in Premiere.Lot of the time I deliver assets to editors or tv stations with alpha channels.Many times there is some kind of flare/glow on a text or asset layer. the only way to get rid of this is to turn this off.But what if an editor does not want to do this, because it changes other things in the timeline? Do I need to interpret the files different in order to get rid of the banding?I tried 16bit and 32bit. Same result. Only the 'composite in linear color' checked off does the trick.This is the ugly banding you get on soft glows in Premiere.  While it should be like this:  

Hello, I use a MacBook to video edit in Premiere Pro and one feature I like is zooming in and out in the Timeline using the touchpad. It makes it easy to naviagte inside the Timeline to see the entire project and get up close to make refined edits.  Recently I've also been using Windows to video edit and when I try the same gesture on the touchpad, nothing happens. I did find holding the 'Alt' key while scrolling up/down or left/right on the touchpad or mouse will do the zoom gesture I wanted, but is there a way in settings to change it so I don't have to rely on using the 'Alt' key to perform the same gesture like on a Mac? Perhaps shortcut keys are the only option? Any feedback would be appreciated as I'm sure many Windows users may have the same issue.

I do not want to use color replace, that effect sucks! I want to figure out how to get change to colour back. I use it all the time and it works really well.
