I've been editing a project ( a multicam wedding) that was started weeks ago.Btw I have 25 years NLE experience - 14 years on Premiere. Im on a Mac Studio near maxed out with dozens of gigs available on my boot drive, and lots of HDD and SSD drives attached with about 2Tb of storage.As I often do when I start a new edition of an existing project, I renamed the project file and saved it. That was yesterday morning.Today after about 10-14 hours of editing and being about 92% finished, I decided to connect some other drives. I (believe) I saved my project, but its possible I didnt. I didnt think much of it as I was tired and my auto-save is set to make saves every 15 minutes.After quitting Premiere I ejected my drives and connected a new one. Then I finding what I was looking for, I reconnected the drives and booted up Premiere.It didnt show me any previous versions of the edit except for the one initial made weeks ago. I know that this problem was discussed in another thread already but I post it here anyway. I am currently on PP 25.6.3 on a Windows 11 PCWhen I am importing a .m2ts file with Dolby Digital audio there is no sound in PP. When I double click on the .m2ts file OUTSIDE PP the video plays back perfectly with picture and sound in Windows Mediaplayer. Any solution?

Hi.. I have a series of keyframes I'd like to add... about 40.. I've computed in a spreadsheet the frame numbers where I want each of them created.In this case, I'd like to add them all to Opacity... but may want to add to others as well.Is there a way to read a .csv or other import file, and do this in some automated way.

Hi... sometimes when being away from my computer, and returning, Premiere has this weird graphical anomaly... closing/reopening doesn't seem to resolve... only restarting my Mac seems to get rid of it. This seems a rather new occurrence... I don't recall updating anything.. but prehaps a recent update of premiere itself (currenly on 25.6.3 (Build 2) is the issue? Any ideas of what is causing this, and how to avoid restarting? See the image below.. note the white bars/noise... that should be 'clean' camera footage... restarting the computer resovles as state.

When installing Premiere Pro 2025 on Windows 11, it creates folders in the Documents Folder inside OneDrive. I reinstalled both Premiere and OneDrive, but the issue persists. I later reinstalled OneDrive at a different location and then reinstalled Premiere, but it still created three folders inside the Documents folder of OneDrive (please see the attachment). How to stop Premiere from creating those folders in OneDrive?

Dear all,I am an absolute beginner to Premiere Pro v25.  I have setup a folder structure on my harddisk that contains one project:Tutorial 1--Export--Media----Images----Video ----AudioProject (this contains the .prporj file) In Premier Pro, I have a Bin structure that has the same organization. Now, I want to copy the harddisk folders to Tutorial 2 but use a different video (which I would then place in 'Video' and add to the corresponding Bin in Premier Pro.However, the media (video, logos, etc) still point the the files in Tutorial 1 on my harddisk. -I tried Project Manager --> Consolidate.  This does not copy my folder structure-I have see that I can (temporarily) change the name of Tutorial 1, such that Premier does not find the files and I can manually relink all media. Does not seem to be a good approach? My question is: what is the correct workflow for handling a situation like this where I want to make a series of tutorials and just wan

When I press "P" i can draw the outline of a box, but it disappears when I release the mouse button. Plus, I don't see the Pen tool options listed under Opacity. 

Hey y'all,    I have been going at this for days now and have found no solution, I don't know much about premire pro and am working on this project for a client, he had set everything up to where it was video layered under a png to make it look like it's inside of a tv on the screen however for some reason in this onse section of the video it has a faint outline of the tv frame. I have a ton of animations on an adjustment layer that covers the majority of these elements that are supposed to show up within the TV frame, so I tried nesting it and put the adjustment laye rover it but that didn't work. The adjustment layer is at 200% scale which i read may be the problem however even when i scale it down you can still see the phantom TV in the nested elements so I'm not sure whats going on. I really to resolve this its due tomorrow. Any help would be be super appreciated. I'll a screenshot of the issue for reference. Also added notes:   1. I read somewhere that applying scal

I updated premiere pro to the latest update 25.6.2 but it's incredibly laggy and stuttering. Every time I click off of premiere pro to use a web browser and then go back to premiere pro it has to reload and doesn't respond, the screen goes white like it's thinking. It takes forever to load so I can continue my project. Then when I playback it stutters and takes forever to load and stop stuttering. It's making editing terrible and takes way longer than it should. I googled videos and ideas online and I have tried them all and nothing fixes it (like clearing cache, resetting settings, etc). I don't know how to fix it. Premiere pro was fine until I updated it. I also installed after effects and now it seems like adobe is super slow and crappy. 

A client of mine wants to reduce the availble default sequence presets. Is there a way to customize the sequence presets on Mac when deploying Premiere Pro via and enterprise tool like Jamf?I know how to do it manually via Show Package Contents, but we need a way to deploy it to ± 350 laptops.Can someone  point me to a document where the customizing Premiere Pro options are explained for deploying? I know you can “hide” certain items from the menu etc. I'm wondering if this offers a reduction of sequence presets too. Thanks.

I am having the worst time trying to bring OpenAI TTS .wav files into Adobe Premiere. ChatGPT is telling me it is likely a “headers” problem. Gemini is saying the same thing. It is also suggesting I export from OpenAI TTS to .mp3.The .wav files work perfectly well when I use them in Adobe Express. Yet I cannot use them in Adobe Premiere. I cannot drop them on to the time line. WHen I use the comma kay to add one, the clip spans the entire timeline and does not play anything. I tried increasing from 24hz to 44hz in Media Encoder but that did not work either. Right now I have to convert all .wav to mp3 in order to work with them. Anyone having the same issues or have any insight? Any help appreciated because I need to create about 60 videos for social media.

Something this new update has really aggrevated me with is how long files take to load waveforms and media, etc. My files used to take maybe 5-10 minutes at MOST to generate, now they take a literal hour. I'm not sure why this changed from the last version, but it slows down my work flow so much, not to mention all the other bugs with this new version. 

Hi... I am working on a well timed continuous two camera shot of footage that my 'rough' take has the percise timing, etc, and I want to work out my various effects on the footage in premiere (e.g., keyframes on motion, opacity, etc..)... then, when I finally get around to getting a good take (may be days/weeks from now), I want to basically just swap out the old footage and in the new footage.  How might I accomplish that?  As far as I know so far, the effects I'm applying are clip itself, and thus, if I replace it, the effects/keyframes will be lost.I can't (as far as I know) just swap out the media file, as the pre-roll time may be different.. thus the exact frame where effect keys are will be offset one way or the other in that case.. e.g., my rough take may have 95 seconds of pre-roll, whereas my final may be 215, or 17, or whatever.Tia!

I'd like to get an effect that looks like a pen tracing the path of this pitcher's shoulder. If I apply an effect (in this case I just chose gaussian blur for no particular reason) and then I choose Mask Path I can get the effect to automatically follow the shoulder, which is exactly what I want. How can I get my effect to look like a pen tracing instead of the gaussian blur? Thank you!

Although other Adobe apps are affected, I will mainly focus on Premiere Pro. The latest version was working just fine, and on all Dell PCs using Windows Enterprise. Then along came, and in real-time after a reboot, Microsoft update 2025-11 Security Update (KB5068861) (26100.7171). As I work on my film, Premiere is frequently consuming more than 26 GB of memory. This causes playback of the timeline to be incredibly slow, choppy, and delayed. And now, the program abruptly quit and my external hard drive disconnected. Can someone help me troubleshoot? I have already taken all of these steps.  Project details:15-minute film with multiple sequences. Clips are mostly MP4 files. Dear community, I am new to automation blocks and I would like to see if this amazing plugin can help me in this: I have a sequence with a clip (an video image) and some text. I have a bin with serveral clips (video images). I would like the plugin to change my clip in the timeline by clicking on "run" so that it picks a random clip and I can rapidly select the correct clip for my timeline. Ideally the lenght of the clip should be at least as long as the time line lenght... Does it make sense?ThanksLuca
