Hello, I am developing a UXP panel for Premiere Pro (v25.0 or later) with manifest v5. I am trying to get the active project object, but I am having great difficulty. The object returned by "new Application()" consistently has a null or undefined ".project" property, even when a project is open. Here is a summary of what I have tried: require('premierepro').app and require('premierepro').project are both undefined. new Application() returns an object, but (new Application()).project is undefined. await new Application() also returns an object, but (await new Application()).project is still undefined. I don't understand the following and would appreciate it if someone could explain it to me.  In screenshot 1 below, the playhead is on a keyframe with position values 1114.7 and 279.2.  I wanted to pan up the image without any horizontal drift and did so by dragging the image and once arriving at the playhead adjusting the horizontal value so that it read 1114.7.  See screenshot 2.  What I don't understand is why between the 2 keyframes the numbers went up from 1114.7 to 1130.5 and then back down again to 1114.7.  See screenshot 3.  If there is no horizontal movement of the image, only vertical, why would these numbers change?  Obviously,. I don't understand what these numbers mean.  If someone could explain, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.  

Clips in my tl appear as video thumbnail; because I have that option seleted. but when I Lt click the fx icon, in the upper rt,  and change the "rubberband" to time Remaping the co\ipe changed to a solig color, and I haven't changed my settings, "video view" is still checked.

Hi When we use the API call app.openDocument() to open the premiere project, audio waveforms are not showing up in Premiere Pro. Same project when we open from local disc manually, it's showing the waveforms. Could you please suggest, how this can be resolved? 

The playhead is not moving, or if it does move, it is so laggy / stuttering. I did some solutions I found in the Adobe forum and some solutions from other videos/sites, such as clearing media cache, etc. My clips are not heavy; they are just videos from mobile phones. The playhead worked just fine before the update. Why does every update of every Adobe product always have bugs and bigger problems?

Editing in timeline: -When I use the extract key to trim, a gap of a few frames (6) is left behind, so black hole in timeline. This goes for video and audio, but not the same amount of frames. -Holding down arrow keys left and right do not advance the playhead as before. Not by frames but smaller increments, so small one can not see it move, except timecode is moving.

I started using Premiere Pro two days ago.With that important introduction out of the way, I am asking for help in solving the following problem.In some cases, the automatic translation of the subtitle track into another language generates the result shown in the screenshot. To eliminate the gap, I tried the following methods:“Ripple Delete,” but it is not available.Select and drag manually, but I cannot select the entire subtitle.I don't know of any other methods. Hi Group, I've just started with Premier pro and i'm gettinng a good grasp on some basic editing i'm now moving on to HSL Secondary so i may be doing something wrong here! but i followed a couple of videos on colour grading and played around with some settings and after multiple attempts i've realised that my HSL Secondary is doing absolutely nothing.... I mean nothing!.. I've tried everything to change even one colour and absolutely nothing is happening... used the eye drop tool, been through every set colour, slid every HSL bar to the extremes, used the correction wheel, absolutely nothing is happening.. Can anyone help? am i doing something completely stupid? am i missing a simple trick? I even updated the whole software so all up to date. Thnaks in advance.

Hello, I've not found the answer elswere ...I'm working in Premiere Pro in HLG workflow, and even when i use Photoshop (or Illustrator) to create graphics in Rec2020 HLG mode, it doesn't suite in Premiere ...My goal :- Film in HLG mode (Rec2100 HLG)- import rushs in HLG mode and edit directly in HLG or use color management for editing properly in Rec709 on non-HDR monitor- insert graphics (logos, motion from AE, etc ...) and mi it with images- export movie in HLG (ProRes or H.265) or use colors management for output it in H.264My problems :- even when i use the eyedropper tool and i want to match the color of the graphic with one color of the image, it doesn't work- when i create grapic in Potoshop (Rec2100 HLG Profile) and import it in Premiere, the color isn't preserved - ... My question :- Do you have the right workflow that works or a guideline / ressource that can help me ?- How works with Photoshop / Illustrator in HLG mode ? i will be very happy for every ans

I am fed up with Adobe "fixing" things that aren't broken, and rarely focusing on things that are broken.   Not only do you now force us to pay a subscription fee which we can't get out of or just purchase the version we like, but we are also forced to keep updating to your stupid overly complicated versions with 95% of features I will never, ever use.   I just want to simply edit. I don't want fancy new stuff, I want a stable version that just does the basics and that's it.   For instance, you went and changed the way transitions work, and they are so frustrating. You can't grab them easily, it adjusts everything else except the bloody transition because unless you are zoomed right in - it isnt very clear when they are or aren't selected anymore.. it has significantly slowed down my workflow, causing added work, frustration and wasted time. Why did you have to go and change it to look like some cheap iMovie program???   Please STOP MESSING around with Premiere! &nb

No tengo ni idea de por qué puede ser, estoy un poco desesperada. Archivos de audio e imágenes sí me deja.He probado a desinstalar los codecs y volver a instalarlos. I am color correcting an 80 minute movie scene-to-scene which was produced from a 4K scan of a 35mm color interpositive. The file format is Quicktime Apple Pro Res HQ. I went through the whole movie start to finish making cuts in just about every scene and made my corrections. When done, I went back to the beginning to check my work again, however it's like Premier didn't save the color corrections i did, and almost every one of them is jacked up and will need to be corrected again. This project has taken many hours to complete and it is very frustrating to have to start all over again! Has anyone had this problem, and more important, can anyone HELP! Though I don't consider myself to be a Pro, I have used PP for many years and never had an issue like this.    Thanks, Bobby B [Personal information removed by moderator]

I've been trying to open Premiere Pro 25.5 on my 2023 MacBook Pro. Every time I open it, it freezes on the splash screen and stops responding and I have to force quit. I have updated it, reinstalled it, restarted my computer, updated my software, and nothings working. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.  

I have a 45 min sequence, and need to export little 10-20 second sections from all over it as I work for review.  But when I choose to export In/Out - in either Premiere or AME - ALL the audio clips in the entire sequence need to be processed before the picture compression happens. - I can see .WAV files that only occur briefly, and 40 mins after the In/Outs I've marked, are getting processed in AME, which is more informative about what's going on in the processing than PP.   Why is this?

The Dust and Scratches Filter seems to have disappeared in Premiere Pro v 24.6.0.  I use this a lot in my work.  Has it been replaced by something else?

Tengo un problema con una edición de video en 4K en adobe premier pro 2025. Mi problema es que cuando edito, en momentos se silencia el audio sólo, más no la imagen en movimiento, eso sigue fluido sin corte. El problema es el audio que en momentos se silencia solo. Mi laptop es una Victus HP Gamer con procesador Ryzen 7, tarjeta gráfica GeForce RTX y 16 GB de RAM debería soportar sin problema la edición en 4K con Adobe Premiere Pro. Esta configuración es más que suficiente para manejar proyectos de alta resolución. He creado proxys, he bajado calidad desde configuración a "cuarto", elimine cache, y en momentos suele pasar el problema. El video de audio reproducido en otra vía esta bien. 

Hi everyone, I’m making a Premiere Pro UXP panel and I’d like to automate some cuts on the timeline. My workflow uses three clip markers: _RecStart (auto at the beginning)_ShotMark1 (marks end of a take)_ShotMark2 (marks a good take — keep the section between this marker and the previous _ShotMark1) What I want with one button “Cut Video”: 1. Look at all clip markers in the active sequence2. For every _ShotMark2, find the previous _ShotMark1.3. Keep only that take (between _ShotMark1 → _ShotMark2).4. Remove the other takes. My questions: What’s the proper way in UXP to read clip-instance markers (not sequence or source markers i was only able to read them)? Or maybe there is some workaround 

I continue to be stupefied by Adobe's lack of support. You can pay this company almost a $100/month and still get shafted. I just shot a 22-minute video and when importing, it shows up as 5 seconds. Yes. 5 seconds. I'm attempting to use HandBreak to solve this issue but to me this is just unacceptable, Adobe.   Moderator note: I branched your thread from a legacy post and placed it in the main forum. Adobe your handling of 4K H.264 is terrrible. Scrubing and playing stutters. Yes I know how to make a sequence that matches my footage. Proxies are a miserable waste of time and generally do not work well. I just found that free Davinci Resolve leaves you all in the dust. Timelines with H.264 - mixed frame rates etc. like butter. Also PP trim mode isn't ready for primetime by a long shot. Do better or like the Fleetwood Mac song "... been there one time, been there two times, never going back again." I don't need the aggravation and hours of fruitless extra work.  Please note I have a smoking hot Mac Studio fully decked out. Mes utilisateurs se plaignent de ne pas pouvoir faire du speech to text car le pack langue ne s'installe pas sur les machines avec Lic FRL. J'ai cherché à l'installer à la main, mais je ne trouve pas le dossier dans lequel je pourrais copier le pack, (librairie mac hd). Sauriez-vous me dire si cette fonctionnalité est disponible sous ces licences de groupes ? Merci bcp pour cette info.

Not sure what's wrong with my setup but when i double click any image in my timeline, it shows up cropped in my Source Monitor. I've never seen this happen before, is this normal? How can I make sure that when I double click my images in the timeline, they show up in the source monitor fitted into the frame instead of cropped off? 

hello, I always get media stuck on pending, it never loads. I cannot make the clip offline and I cannot click relink? Have tired:- restarting premire- restaring computer- clearing cache- resetting preferences - enable/disable timelines
