I noticed that since the last update, the hard limiter is no longer working as expected. It is capped at minus 6dB, no matter what, you can not get the audio higher than minus 6dB. If I remove hard limiter audio goes higher than that. Anybody else?
hello,I have this issue withe some .mov clips where thery only import audio into premiere. In VLC it can't playback the video. Media encoder does not understand it too and only reencodes the audio, black video. Any fixes for this?
Until this week, I was using my RTX 3060 and decided to upgrade to the newly arrived RTX 5080 ( in hopes of making playback smoother. To my surprise, I didn't notice any difference. I edit 4K clips in an HD timeline with only one clip stacked on top of another (a 2-camera interview Here are my system specs and setup:GPU: RTX 5080CPU: Ryzen 9 5950xRAM: 32GB Storage: All media is stored on an 2TB SSD Sequence Settings: 1920x1080, 23.98fpsRenderer: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA). Any thoughts?
I really do not like that Premiere automatically applies a LUT when I import footage shot on AMIRA log. It makes for HUGE project files and long long saves, and really messes with my workflow.I am aware that I can batch diable the master clips, and that there's a workaround to remove the master effects by applying a lumetri color preset to ALL of my clips. But both of these are extra steps, which shouldn't be necessary - BECAUSE I NEVER ASKED FOR A LUT TO BE APPLIED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!I NEED a way to automatically disable the automatic application of the LUT to every single clip. Adobe, please stop forcing things on us (open multiple projects at once, anyone?). As a professional, I KNOW when I want a LUT applied, and definitely do not want my NLE making decisions for me!
Issue: The footage is 4k 60p H.265 10-bit 4:2:2 footage from my Canon R6 Mark II. There are ZERO adjustments made to the footage runs smooth for the first 7-8 seconds and then becomes super chopy after. GPU utilization will sit around 50-70% and then drop to 10% or sometimes to 0%. When I pause the playback and the hit play again, it will continue to run smooth for the next 7-8 seconds before becoming choppy again. Most of my footage is quite short on the 1-3 minutes in total length. I am not sure if it is a faulty GPU, and issue with Premiere Pro, or a setting I need to adjust. PC Specs:CPU: AMD 5800xGPU: RTX 5060RAM: 32 GB DDR4 (24GB allocated to Premiere Pro) Steps to Reproduce:- Import footage from camera into Premiere Pro- Ensure that hardware encoding/decoding is enabled-Hit play on the footage-Use Nvidia App to monitor GPU usage during playback Expected Results:- GPU utilization will sit around 50-70% while it is working to decode the footage which would ensure sm
Hi all, This subject is basically the question: Does Premiere Have Groups for Coloring Like DaVinci Resolve?I'll ask my question and then explain more about Groups in case someone's not familiar with them.I'm looking to do more coloring in Premiere to save time rather than doing it in DaVinci Resolve, but I love the Groups feature because it's a huge time saver. If anyone has any other workflow suggestions for grading clips taken with multiple camera brands, I'd love to hear them. For those who don't know what Groups are, in Resolve's color page, clips can be put into Groups that have "nodes" or settings that affect every clip. Once a group is created, there's a "Pre-Clip" tab and a "Post-Clip" tab and any changes to one of the nodes in either of those tabs affects every clip in that group..The most common use is to convert clips to a project's working color space. Hi everyone. I have looked everywhere for an answer and can´t find it anywhere. I´m having this specific problem that I can´t drag a transition to my clip. When I clic on top of the transition, before start dragging, the mousse shows me a hand with a cross on top. Any ideas why? I am really new at this so it might be something simple I am missing. Help!
I'm running the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro and everything works great so far except for mask tracking. It simply doesn't work. I create a mask (currently doing this in Lumetri color) and hit "track mask forward". The tracking progress bar comes up and nothing happens. No progress shows up and eventually I just stop it. Any ideas as to how I might troubleshoot this? Thank you!
Hi. Im using Adobe Premiere with AE-Compositions inside the Projects. Now it turns out that those projects keep sucking power, and finally i cant open anything else while rendering a project in premiere, even the finder.Any solution for that (sorry if reposting)?
Hi, can someone tell me if this is a glitch? I'm trying to import a LUT from my files. When I click on custom or browse, it automatically selects a random option from the drop-down menu. When clicked on, browse should ideally open the file explorer to get the file.Can someone please help me fix this?
I have already installed media encoder and my premiere pro and media encoder are in same version (15.41) But when I create proxy at premiere pro, "Adobe media encoder is not installed" error message appears on the screen still,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What should I do to solve this problem...?
I try to leave the sequence setting "composite in linear color" turned on when working in Premiere to get more accurate shading with blending modes. However, the math of this causes smooth dissolves to follow an inverse gamma curve, causing the dissolve to start very quickly, and slow down towards the end. I've also noticed a color shift when the opacity isn't at 0 or 100 for a layer: the image below shows what should be white text over blue at various opacities. On the left, the word "test" is composited with non-linear color and looks 'as expected', matching AE. The word "text", on the right is with the linear workflow and has a slight color shift. I understand that there are third party plugins for Premiere that give smooth dissolve transitions with a linear color workflow. However, when working with more complex graphics rendered from external applications, there isn't really a good workaround that I'm aware of. Should I just turn linear compositing off for jobs wit

I've tried searching for answers and have come close but I can't find a fix to this precise issue. New user and I might have changed a Preference by accident. After I place the playhead on the edit timeline and press space to engage 'playback', it bounces back to where I started after about a minute, by itself. It won't play back continuously through the entire timeline and always stops and returns to where I started. I know it's supposed to do this if you stop playback, but it's just returning to the start (where I hit the space at) on its own.
Hi, I am trying to import EDL file via extendscript, however project.importFiles(), cause UI with settings pop up, setting seconds param to false (to skip the UI), just doesn't let import the file showing errorI was wondering if there any workarounds to import EDL silently?
I've recently been unable to download or play any videos I've exported from Premiere Pro on my iPhone that are over 1080x1920 and 10 bit. I've had this issue ever since I've begun using Premiere, I'm unable to download or play any videos rendered in H.264 that are above 1080p with a bit depth larger than 10 bits. The videos larger than 1080p will download and play fine on any apple or windows computer, or andriod phone but will not play on my iPhone. Every time my iPhone gets a "you can not download or view this type of video" message even though the vidoe file type is listed as supported according to apple's website. My clients are also having this issue. I've read another forum where people were having this issue and solved the problem by changing around the exporting settings but I've found no success with their advice. I'm beginning to think this has something to do with the fact that I'm exporting this from a Windows PC and trying to play it on an iPhone but who knows.&
In just the last few days premiere pro stopped rendering my 4k 120 fps.At 24fps, no render issues, as soon as I slow it to 40% or 20% it plays about a second and then freezes till it gets to the next clip in the timeline.What Ive done to try and resolve the problem:1. Clear Caches both in premiere and my computer2. Check premiere for updates (Updated)3. Check GPU for updates (Updated)4. Check GPU CPU for performance specs (RTX4080 and Ryzen 7950X 16 core should have no issues with 4K 120FPS)5. "Render in to out" Clips that im editing6. Edit using proxies7. Slow down clip then nest8. Make sure the clips are linked from the correct source (I edit off an nvme SSD that is screaming fast so its not a read speed issue)I just edited a 4k 120 fps video in 4-2-0 a few months ago with NO ISSUES so thats why im confused.Im at a loss so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Hi everyone, another editor has created multi-camera sequences including sound which I am taking over. But I would rather use Premiere to edit the rest. Is there a way to export the whole multi-camera sequence from DaVinci to Premiere and still keep the synced multicam and sound? Many thanks.
I understand the sync function was killed off by Adobe. I have a new tower and NONE of my preferences and settings transferred to the new PC. Can anyone offer some guidance as to how to do this so I can save hours of setup?
Hi, I am a long time Final Cut 7 user, (18 years in final cut) who has finally made the switch to Premier for good. My workflow in Final cut allowed me to move both the video and audio in a linked clip from track to track in my sequence. This is a small thing but is really a part of my workflow. I have used Premiere in the past and I was able to do this after some brief adjustments in the clip settings. However, I can not find a way to do it now and no one seems to know the answer. I am using the very latest version of Premier. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2035. Updated, rebooted, and still no clock wipe. Simply does nothing in real time. Tried rendering and received render error. Tried rendering entire sequence and it locks-up. If I remove the clock wipe, the sequence renders normally. Tried effect on various clips with same result. Clicking on the effect opens the parameters, yet effect remains unresponsive.
Hi all, I'm doing a project for which I first generate an image sequence from a clip. Then I would go into the sequence of images and do some rearrangement of them. Surprisingly, I have not been able to do this seemingly simple task so far. Here's what I have tried. In the Project Bin where all of my images are, I clicked the 'list view', sorted them by name. this gave me the exact order of the images that I needed. Then, I clicked the Icon view. Set the sorting to 'list view sort'. This retained the order of the images as before. I then tried moving an image to another spot but it turned out that reordering in this setting wasn't allowed. So while I was still in the Icon view, I clicked 'User order', hoping that would be able move that image around. However, the icons were now sorted in a completely random order, instead of the order as I established with the prior steps! So I'm looking for an effective way of setting the initial order for the 'user

Please put it back or tell me how to set H to -5 in a few steps.Spinning every shot with wheels is complete nonsense.I don't understand what was wrong with such a simple effect in the program that it had to go away.Sorry for my English, Google.
