Once I try to edit a PDF file, the blank screen will show up and cant click anything (warning sounds will appear when I click mouse)I have tried many methods on youtube including uninstall and reinstall again, but it doesnt works.I used adobe repair function too but it doesnt work

When using Request Signatures in the desktop Acrobat application, the recipient dialog becomes unusable when typing in the Name field Steps to reproduce:Open a PDF in Acrobat. Select Request Signatures. Enter or paste a recipient email address. Click in the Name field. Type any character.Expected result:The recipient name is entered and the workflow continues.Actual result:The recipient dialog disappears and the Acrobat window remains greyed out and unusable. The application must be closed via Task Manager.Additional information:Reinstalled Acrobat completely. Browser version of Acrobat Sign works normally. Pasting an email address works. The issue occurs when typing in the recipient Name field.

Dear Adobe Product Manager,I would like to submit a feature request regarding the AI Assistant feature in Adobe Acrobat.While I appreciate the innovation, I prefer not to use AI features in my daily workflow. The "Ask AI Assistant" prompt occupies valuable screen space and can be distracting, especially when working with documents for extended periods.I kindly request that Adobe provide users with an option to permanently disable or hide the AI Assistant interface, including preventing it from reappearing after application updates or restarts. This setting should be easy to find and remain persistent unless the user chooses to enable the feature again.Giving users greater control over the interface would significantly improve the experience for those who prefer a clean, distraction-free workspace.Thank you for considering this suggestion. I hope Adobe will include this option in a future release.

I have 15 separate pdfs that need to be dated. I would like to write the date once in the correct font and size and copy and paste it to the other 15 files. Acrobat will not let me paste outside of the file that I copied the text. How to fix?

Depuis la dernière mise à jour, un nouveau bouton est apparu dans les documents Google. Il s’agit du bouton « Convertir en PDF ». Bien que très pratique de l’avoir sous la main, la plage de clic du bouton est trop large sur une page réduite. Chaque fois que je tente de cliquer sur le bouton « Réduire le retrait », c’est le bouton de conversion qui s’active. Possible de travailler la plage cliquable du clic lorsque l’on réduit la page ? Merci ! Lorsque mon curseur se dépose sur le début du coin inférieur gauche du bouton « Réduire le retrait », c’est bien ce bouton qui s’active.  Lorsque mon curseur se dépose sous le milieu du bouton « Réduire le retrait », c’est le bouton « Convertir en PDF » qui s’active.  

Hi, I am experiencing an activation limit issue with my Adobe Acrobat 2020. I have uninstalled the software from my old computer, but I didn't deactivate it beforehand, and now that computer is no longer accessible. **  When I try to install and activate it on my new computer, I get an error saying the activation limit has been reached. Could a support engineer please help me reset the activation count for my serial number?  Here is my serial number: 1016-1831-2529-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX Thank you for your help!

We purchased a perpetual license for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020, but it was registered to the email address of a former employee who left over a year ago. We currently have no access to that email account and no records of the credentials. This is due to a complete IT department personnel turnover a year ago, which unfortunately left us with no handover documentation.Here is the current device status and the sequence of events: Hardware Status: We currently have the specific laptop in our possession. It was repurposed by our HR department for a current employee. Incident Timeline: On June 15, 2026, the user was able to successfully open a PDF file at 08:15 AM (Taiwan Time). Ever since the new update/release came out of Adobe Acrobat Pro, when I click "edit," none of the properties show up in the panel where they are supposed to be displayed. Ugh.

I would like to add text to cover up old information. I add a text box and i want to fill it with a white background so you dont see the old text. How to do this?

I have be able to successfully compress PDF files with embedded greyscale images very effectively using your ‘Optimized Scanned Pages’ tool, but I am only able to use this tool on one file at a time from within Acrobat Pro.    I have been able to successfully compress legacy PDF files using your ‘Optimized Scanned Pages’ Tool but I am only permitted to use this as a menu option on 1 file at a time.   Is there a way to have Acrobat process multiple PDFs with this tool?    Is there a way to invoke this tool as a CLI command that I can run iteratively with a Python Script? Alternatively, can I use your Action Wizard to process and save multiple files?Thank you​​​​​​​David.

How can I default my copy number to 1. Somehow mine changed to 38 and I have tried all I can find to fix it. I even deleated adobe and reinstalled and it still defaults to 38. If I print from word or google it does not.

Hi all, I use Adobe acrobat to make exam papers as a teacher. When trying to type text onto a pdf file, when typing numbers, they keep appearing in an arabic, whereas leters appear as expected. This only happens on my main desktop and I am able to use my work laptop as usual. has anyone encountered this issue before? 

See photos. When I click to stamp a document, the stamp feature disappears. I deleted my custom stamps, and it still does it this way. Also does it with Edit PDF, and with the AI assistant. I am paying $170 for this program to work. This is basic functionality. Hi, for a few days now, when I click on "Modify" or "Add a stamp", the left column of the menu opens but is totally empty, impossible to select anything. Anyone has an idea of what's wrong and how to fix it? I've been using the web version of Acrobat for years to review PDFs with my team, and I always get a counter of notifications on the bell in the top right, plus emails, whenever someone leaves new comments. Yesterday, both stopped happening, despite several new comments being added in the last 24 hours. All of my notifications are turned on, and other members on my team are getting notifications. Any ideas? I'm on Firefox on a Mac.

I believe Acrobat Standard is included with Creative Cloud but it’s not recognizing my subscription. 

I just purchased a Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, and tried to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat. However, I am running into a repeated issue where Adobe says "Upgrading Key Features" and getting stuck on continously installing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. Please help. I am about to ask for a refund, this is horrible design and service if even after I pay I cannot use it. 

Hi all, I have the following problem. I want to convert my thesis, a word '.docx' file, to PDF without loss of image quality. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to do so (without losing the cross-references links). I have Microsoft 365 on MacOS Tahoe 26.4. Additionally, I also have access to Acrobat Pro, as well as to a windows PC if really necessary (i.e., if only a windows solution is available). The images themselves are high quality inside word, but the problem only occurs upon conversion to PDF. I have already tried several solutions/settings suggested online, such as: Save as PDF in Mac printer menu (→ loss of cross-references) High fidelity + do not compress is selected in word settings → still loss of quality I have tried Acrobat PDF conversion online → loss of quality I have tried Acrobat PDF conversion on Mac → loss of quality I have tried LibreOffice export → loss of cross-references and formatting issues If you have any suggestions, please let me know; I am despe

I tried to sign out and then attempted sign in. Now it's not responding to my sign in request. What is happening here, anyone can help?

Hey can you bring back the "save as" button? You only kept the "save button" and there are no file tools in the new update. Tried to leave feedback through the app, but the pop up is being blocked by admin security. You have to search for the function save as, use the save as PDF/A, and then change the file type to adobe pdf? 

In attempting to open a pdf file, I receive a message that “A font package is required to correctly display this page”. I follow the link to the “Download font and spelling packages” page on adobe.com & click on the download link for Adobe Acrobat Reader 64-bit for Windows, Release Year 2023, Continuous, Font and Spelling Pack (the latest version available). I download the Windows Installer Package but then receive a message that “Adobe Acrobat Reader version 23.008.20421 or later must be installed & the process then terminates. As noted in the title of this thread, I am already running the latest version of Acrobat Reader 26.001.21662. So I am getting nowhere trying to install the necessary Font and Spelling package. Please help!

Comprei o Adobe Pro e só tenho tido problemas, cada hora descubro uma coisa nova. Hoje venho aqui pois preciso de ajuda. Não tenho conseguido imprimir meus arquivos pois aparece a mensagem de erro. Já desinstalei e reinstalei o adobe e nada mudou.Aliás gostaria de deixar registrado que a versão gratuita me dava bem menos dor de cabeça, estou quase cancelando essa plano, pois tudo da problema… 

So I’m taking a report created in Microsoft Word and converted to PDF and I’m finalizing it by optimizing it to be fully ADA compliant for WCAG 2.1 AA. I’m having trouble though with the table tags as it’s throwing inconsistency errors. Usually this is something simple like one cell spans multiple columns and I just have to go in an manually say the cell spans 3 columns or such. However one table for whatever reason I can’t figure out doesn’t render anywhere near the correct fashion during the conversion to pdf. In the past I would delete the converted tag and just reedited it as a table and it works on the second time. I don't want to seem overly negative, as I really like Adobe products in general... but I've just paid full subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro, hoping that the OCR would do a good job, and it's terrible. No better for accuracy than OCR scanning I used 20 years ago. Are there no settings to adjust the scanning quality? To adjust the contrast. It's one option and that's it seemingly. I was hoping to convert this PDF document (1981 PDF Document) to maintain the original 1981 look, but be possible for blind people to use with a screen reader, without having to almost re-type the entire document. I can't see any options to tweak the AI / method used to try to get a better result. Am I barking up the wrong tree with Acrobat?
