For several weeks (since late Fall 2025), if I have a single PDF open and try to close it by clicking the red dot or by typing "command-W" [Mac], Acrobat becomes permanently unresponsive and must be force-quit. If there are several PDFs open (either as separate tabs or separate windows), I can close each of them this way *until* I get to a single remaining PDF -- and then the "close" process will freeze Acrobat. I *can* "Quit" the application with a single PDF displaying, but I can't close up that PDF *without* actually quitting. I have deleted and reinstalled Acrobat three times, and I believe I have the latest version of Acrobat: Architecture: arm64 Processor: Apple M4 Max Build: 25.1.21111.0 AGM: 7.1.19 CoolType: 10.0.7 JP2K: 4.0.2.54782]Can anyone help? 

Acrobat Pro version 2025.001.21111 hangs for about 3 seconds when it appears to be loading the account icons at the top right near the minimize button. We are having this on multiple computers.

Hi. I get 'AdobeIPCBroker.exe - System Error' on my screen, sying: The code execution cannot proceed because CRClient.dll was not found. reinstalling the program may fix this problem.' - But I haven't intalled 'AdobeIPCBroker.exe' program. This message canot be removed from my screen. Have tried to close and re-start the computer, but this message still pops up - un top of any program or screen I open - aways visible. Anyone know what this is? How to fix? Do I have to delete and re-intall Adobe???

I want to delete an archived agreement from my adobe acrobat web account.  It’s my personal account, and the document is something I don’t want stored on the cloud, and just want permanently gone.  There is no delete button anywhere to be found.  I’ve contacted support and they wanted to remotely access my pc for what reason?  Who knows !  Why in the world can’t I simply delete a file?

Adobe keeps crashing for only one user in the company. Adobe will stop responding and will have to be force closed via task manager. Also, Adobe is just laggy in general when it is working. This does not happen for other users on other PCs who are accessing the same PDFs using the same version of Adobe. We have tried so many things to resolve this issue, nothing works. We have completely uninstalled Adobe, along with any lingering folders/registry keys. We’ve updated Adobe. The event viewer logs don’t help. They just say something along the lines of “application hang”. This is the free version of Adobe. Is there anyway to get in touch with support or something? Is there support for the free version of Adobe.

When I do a Save As, the save screen fills the normal area on my screen. I can't make it smaller. This is a problem to me as I can no longer see the document that I am saving, or any other references that I might be using to decide where to save the file to. How do I get control of this so I can make it smaller?

Bonjour,J'utilise Acrobat Pro et depuis quelques jours, quand je souhaite modifier une PDF mes panneaux latéraux sont vides.  J'ai désinstaller avec l'idée de faire une nouvelle installation, mais là impossible de faire l'installation (code erreur 136) j'ai donc installer une version antérieur. Et le problème persiste. Auriez-vous une solution.  Un TimeMachine ne m'a pas résolu le problème.Imac sous MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

I am busy preparing a fillable form - not all textboxes were added during the convertion.  When i add a textbox, in some cases the textbox border must be transparent. But when is change it as per suggested option it remains black.

I disabled the AI "assistant" in Adobe for the simple reason that I do not want it. So why is it that, only a few days later, I'm looking at a pop-up with a big black ENABLE button and the message "You previously disabled generative AI features in Acrobat. By clicking Enable, you'll be able to use these features again"? I didn't accidentally toggle the off switch, which should be obvious, because I had to wade through a bunch of menus to get rid of this enabled-by-default "feature." I made a very deliberate decision to disable AI in Adobe Acrobat because, again, I do not want it. So enough with the Sam-I-Am routine. Stop trying to cram your slopbot down my throat. I don't care if the first hit's free. I said no.

HelloI have very little-to-zero knowledge of javascript so would appreciate any help/advice you can give me.I have searched the forum/internet and cobbled together snippets of code to create the attached dynamic stamp which has various text boxes, radio buttons and dropdown boxes.It (surprisingly) works, but the 2 dropdown boxes appear in separate popup windows so there are 3 popup windows in total.Is it possible to have just one popup window that combines everything?It would also be incredibly helpful if the dropdown boxes didn’t have to be selected every time and had default choices (Approved & Coded for DropdownApproved and File for DropdownFile).I have attached my stamp, and the code is below - apologies for the state of it - as it’s a mashup of random bits I’ve found through searching the internet, I’m sure its full of unnecessary text and is pretty ugly.Thanks again //-------------------------------------------------------------//-----------------Do not edit the XML tags-----

Greetings everyone, my question is as the title suggests, how do I turn off the preview for podcast generation, I disabled AI features but this one refuses to go away, please help  P.S. I'm using the mobile app 

The Take a snapshot tool in Acrobat is terribly awkward to use and frequently glitches. Usage: Right-click, Take a Snapshot, Right-click again, Select All, Right-click again, Copy selected graphic...then it usually doesn’t work unless you repeatedly left-click the screen until it flashes.Issues: Other than that being incredibly cumbersome, Acrobat also sometimes glitches to produce blank snapshots, unless you restart Acrobat altogether.

I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, when trying to open I get error advising that the serial number has reached its limit of activated devices.I have logged into the account online and it shows no activated devices. I have tried reinstalling Adobe (including restarts) but get the same error. I have contacted Adobe support who raised this ticket ADB-43702569-F4Q4 but advised I would get quicker support by raising the issue on the forum.

I have an existing Adobe Acrobat PDF Pack subscription. Previously when I added images to my PDF files, there were no issues. Today when I attempted to add images, a pop up surfaced, telling me to reactivate my subscription. May I know what is happening?

Apologies if this has been posted before, I tried looking for similar issues but couldn't find this exact issue*. How do I make the scrollbar thumb (the bit you click on the drag the scrollbar around) always appear in Adobe Acrobat on Windows 11? Right now the thumb only appears when you mouse over the scrollbar. This is a major usability issue, especially for long documents, as I have to guess where the thumb is and then make a corrective mouse movement when I inevitably get it wrong. In Acrobat on previous Windows versions and in every other app on Windows 11, a skinny scollbar thumb is always shown so that I can mouse directly to it and the thumb gets big when you mouse over it. Since updating to version 2015.009.20069 of Acrobat Pro DC on Mac Pro (late 2013), I am unable to use any keyboard shortcut to navigate between open documents. Prior to the most recent update to Acrobat Pro DC it was possible to navigate between open documents using keyboard shortcut. So, what has changed with the keyboard shortcut ?Paul

Apologies for resurrecting this error, but I'd like some more up-to-date advice. This seems to be a recurring problem that has now found me. I've gone through a number of posts and tried various fixes, but this still persists. I'm on Windows 11. When I click on a .PDF file, I get the following error message:Every PDF I touch generates this error. If I'm scrolling through a folder of PDF files looking for something, I can have many, many error windows.My guess is it is somehow related to the Explorer Preview Pane. If I switch Explorer View from "Preview Pane" to "Details Pane", I do not get the error. Or if I turn off the Preview Pane completely, there is no error. Based on other posts, I have tried to run a repair on Acrobat.I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing the software. I have an existing (tree planting) form that I am making fillable. The Satisfactory, Marginal, and Severe fields are all ‘date’ fields. If a date is placed in the “Severe” column, I need it to require the completion of the Temp, RH, Wind and Soil_Moisture1/2 in the “If Planting On A Severe Day” column.Most of the time, only one day may be severe, so whichever cell is “Severe(1-4)” It needs to go in the Temp1, RH1, Wind1, and Soil_Moisture1 first followed by the second set of readings.  Thanks in advanceDoug
