Hi there!I've been using google fonts not only for digital but also print usecases. I've never had any issues with it, when exporting a PDF/X-3 out i.e. of illustrator for print.Now I have a print product which does have some visual problems with the fonts. I have not converted the fonts into vector paths as I thought, they are going to be embedded anyways.Unfortunately now I've realised, that the PDF does contain embedded fonts BUT the "wrong" typefaces - or it is missing some. The preflight is giving an alert named: "font name is not unique".I went through all older PDF-files that I've created the past years with google fonts in it and they ALL have this alert showing up when I do the preflight. There were never any problems with the final print product, so this is the first time it seemed to really making trouble. I am in shock as I didn't know that this can happen... (semi)newbie to javascript - go (somewhat) easy on me :O) short version... working on a form where I need to either show a bunch of fields or hide them base on radio button choice. Right now I have the fields visible (or hidden) based on the button's Action/Show/Hide Field. It works but there are +/-75 fields and it's cumbersome, at best. Logically, I would like to group those +/-75 feilds but have no idea if this is available!? Any help would be appreciated.   

I have the .pdf versions of digital signatures for employees. The document imaging system we are utilizing needs the files to be in .pfx format to work properly within their system. Is there an easy way to convert these files?

We've got several users reporting the issue of this error appearing shortly after opening Acrobat (Creative Cloud):  Seems this is a regular problem with Acrobat based on many other messages in these forums, but no real solution seems to have been found. I do have a log file from a user and can get others, though the setups between the systems are pretty similar. Acrobat has been updated on the affected systems and it will still produce the error after the update is put in place. Installation repairs have been performed, reinstalls, the Cleaner Utility has been run, and all other "Turn-it-off-and-turn-it-back-on-again" fixes have been attempted. The issue persists. Please advise where the error report can be uploaded so that an Adobe engineer can look this over.

Hi,   I run Acrobat PRO JP2K Version 4.000.00000.52132 64-bit Don't get me wrong, I love Acrobat products, but there's a very annoying bug in acrobat. Sometimes it opens in a "Help Improve Acrobat" and there is no way to get rid of the window:  Usually I kill acrobat in the windows program manager and pray for it open without asking me again. I tried to write many things, perhaps it wont let me go without hearing what it wants to hear, but I had no success. Hey all,I have a issue with PDF's now appearing in Recent Items under Outlook.I've reinstalled Adobe and it's on the latest version (I did see an Adobe forum post about this issue and apparently was resolved with the latest update)Anyone else have any ideas how I may resolve?

Can someone help please?  While editing a PDF created in powerpoint's pdf, suddenly half of the text in most of the pages dissappeared, or turned another color. This happened AFTER already editing some pages for an hour.  Now when I open acrobat it does not show some text in other documents too. What has happened? and how can I fix it?  I have windows 10, and acrobat pro dc.  

I can process a multi-page PDF document using OCR in Acrobat Reader Pro. During the process, I see messages indicating that all pages are being analyzed with OCR.However, when I try to select the recognized text using Ctrl+A, only the visible text on the current page is highlighted, and the rest of the pdf-document is ignored. When I copy the text, only the highlighted portion is copied.My goal is to copy all the OCR-recognized text from the entire PDF document, not just the current page.How can I achieve this?Is there maybe a workaround, such as using a VBA Excel macro to extract the text page by page from the complete PDF file with OCR of Acrobat Reader Pro? 

This feature does not work. I have one pc where this does not work for the end user. The app restarts but still reverts to the new layout. I have uninstalled & re-installed app, ran a cleaner tool & deleted the users appdata entries but still cannot get rollback feature this to work. Anyone found a fix for this ?

I am trying to use control characters (\t, \r, \n) as delimiters in the QR code. However, the PDF generation process converts them into spaces. How can I prevent this? Issue: The QR code is not interpreting control characters correctly.Input: "line1 \r line2 \r line3"Expected Output: A QR code that decodes to three separate lines.Actual Output: "line1 line2 line3" (The \r characters are lost).

Hi, i have an account with Adobe Acrobat Standard. I can login online and use it that way but if i open Acrobat locally it shuts down after a few seconds. I have a feeling it's not letting me Sign In, as i can see the Sign In button at the top before it shuts down. I has been running this on my computer for some time before this started to happen. I did also have this problem previously (months ago) and an uninstall, clean and reinstall worked to fix it. This time around, I uninstalled Acrobat, ran the cleaner https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html restarted my PC, downloaded the 64 bit version of Acrobat Standard here https://helpx.adobe.com/au/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html installed it and the identical problem still exists. Can someone please help?

Ever since I upgraded to the 2026 versions, Acrobat will not hand off vector objects to Illustrator or bitmap objects to Photoshop for editing. I get the following message: Adobe Acrobat cannot start the object editing application you've specified. Verify the object editing application location on the Content Editing panel in Preferences. I have checked, and both those places in Preferences point to the correct applications in their respective 2026 directories. Please help.Thanks.

When Creating a Portfolio and then print ALL PDFs it looks like it sends them but in reality it only sends the first one in the group.  It seems the update has create the problem.  Please advise how we fix this?

I am having issues recently when trying to make edits to existing PDF's.For example, with a simple bit of text like this (in Calibri font, nothing exotic):I can change a bit of the text like this:But as soon as I attempt to change or add any numeric characters I get Arabic numerals:I have uninstalled and re-installed Acrobat. I also tried setting the Default font for Text Editing in Preferences. Neither made any difference. I am using the latest version of Acrobat for Windows (v23). I have Windows 11 also latest patches applied.I am editing PDF's on the SAME computer that I created them with. So all fonts used originally are available when editing. What on earth is going on!!  Thanks in advance. 

Since the Sept 2023 update, every time I open an Acrobat file, it gives me the following prompt, asking if I want to put it in Full Screen mode - which I never want to do. I have to check "Remember my choice for this document" and then "No" every single time. This is really frustrating because I typically have to re-export and save new pdfs multiple times (graphic design related) so remembering my choice for a pdf doesn't really work for me, as I typically have to overwrite the pdf multiple times. Is there any way to make it so Acrobat stops asking me if I want to go full screen for every document? It's really frustrating. I've tried Preferences, General, Reset All Warnings, same with unchecking the options at the top of Preferences, Full Screen menu. Nothing has worked.  

Hi Everyone,Is anyone experiencing an issue (just in the last 4-6 weeks) when converting a Word document to an Adobe PDF, where your change bars are no longer showing up in your PDF when using the "Save as Adobe PDF" feature in Word? The change bars DO appear in the Adobe PDF if I perform a "Save As" and change the "Save as type:" to "PDF (*pdf)". In that situation the "Publish what" under "Options..." is automatically set to "Document showing markup" enabled, but I cannot find an equivalent setting in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am using Office 2016 on Windows 10 box with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.012.20040. I have been scouring the web for potential solutions, but not having much luck. Any ideas are much appreciated.

How can I turn off permanently the bookmarks panel in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2021?I cannot find any solution that work for this newest version on google. Thank you for your help.

Hello!  I am trying to use the add text tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro Version 2024.003.20112.  When I hit the add text button, a lot of existing text boxes pop up - if I type within those boxes, the whole page messes up with large spaces and other weird formatting.  On my old Acrobat, I could insert new text anywhere, but on this on, I can only insert a new text box outside the existing ones.  Is there any way to turn this off?  It is extremely annoying.  I already turned off the automatic OCR, but on clean PDFs, this text box problem persists.  Is there any way to turn off existing text boxes or turn on a way to insert a new text box wherever I need one?  

I'm trying to save a PDF to my Adobe Cloud Storage.It starts the process and commences the saving process. Once it gets to 5% it stays on this level for about 5 minutes or so. Then I get the following message:An error occurred while trying to access the service

HelloI have Excel Report with Macros which creates multiple PDF files using Acrobat Distiller. It creates couple of PDF files and then stop after that giving below error message. I have tried to reboot computer, but it still didn't help. Is there anything else i should try? Acrobat version is 9. Thanks

Does anyone know how to change Adobe Redaction Tool from picking up text to being able to redact a block rather than letters?Sorry, I’m not explaining this very well – I want to draw a square, the size of my choosing, round some handwriting, but I can’t get Adobe to see hthe handwriting as anything other than text and it won't redact the whole of the piece of handwriting – I want the ‘crosshairs’ cursor to display so I can draw round it.  It's in the middle of a page containing both typewritten and handwritten wording.
