Title: Saved signature doesn't load when signing via API signingUrls (loads fine via email link)We integrate Acrobat Sign REST API v6 server-to-server. Signers open agreements using the esignUrl from GET /agreements/{agreementId}/signingUrls, embedded in our own portal.  When the same signer opens the same agreement via the email link, their saved Personal Preferences signature loads automatically. Via the API signingUrls link, it never loads — same browser, same logged-in Adobe account, same signer.  Already tried: same session/cookies, embedded and non-embedded, guest and internal Acrobat Sign users, Acrobat Sign Authentication (ADOBE_SIGN), and "Allow recipients to use their saved signature" set to All recipients.  Is this a permanent limitation of the signingUrls flow, or is there a supported way to get the saved signature to load in an API-issued signing session?

It seems this is a common and recurring problem.  Most posts say to upgrade to latest.  I am running Acrobat (64-bit) (25.001.20982) which I just updated today.  I CANNOT get the page size to show regardless of what I do.  Any ideas here?  This is a VERY simple and basic feature.  

Hi there, I had some droplets created by a previous person that were on my older Mac system (Yosemite) that utilized Acrobat to process PDF files. When I transferred over those droplets to my new machine (Currently on Catalina 10.15.7) they won't work anymore.  I cannot, for the life of me figure out what the issue is.  I tried zipping the droplets before transferring to the new machine, but that didn't work. When I try to use them, the error I get is:"The droplet cannot run on lower versions of Acrobat. Please set higher version as default PDF handler and try again." But my Acrobat is up to date to the latest version I can upgrade to, and the old machine potentially had the same version of Acrobat, so I'm very confused. I also know that you can change your OS's preferred PDF application by getting info on a PDF file and changing it to Acrobat.  I've done this already. I'm running Acrobat DC 2021.005.20048. Here is one of the droplets (

Hello I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I have created an action converting multiple PDFs to txt files.However, some PDFs are locked.  I can unlock a pdf, but I has to be one by one manually, and it is not convenient for me (~over 2 000 pdfs).Is there a way to add a "step" in my already-existing action ? I am open to solutions/suggestions already existing in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or a programming one (i.e. Javascript since we can import scripts)Thank you in advance

I trying to convert an NSF file (IBM Lotus Notes) into a PDF, but I not unsure about the best tool or method to do this. Could anyone recommend a reliable NSF to PDF converter, and share some steps to convert it efficiently?

I would like to permanently prevent Acrobat from installing add-ins for Microsoft 365 applications.Acrobat installs add-ins for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word in ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup. It doesn't ask for permission to do this and there is no option to stop it from happening.I can turn the add-ins off from within the Microsoft applications but they turn back on when I relaunch the applications. I can delete them from the Startup folder where Acrobat places them but Acrobat just replaces them. Has anyone figured out a way to permanently stop Acrobat from doing this?

I have Acrobat Pro as part of my corporate Creative Cloud plan. When I try to save a fillable PDF as PDF/A, Acrobat prompts me to install additional components. I was under the impression that Preflight is included with Acrobat Pro. Is this expected behavior, and why would Acrobat require additional component installation for PDF/A conversion?

I have been a long time user of AA Pro since version 5. Although some versions took a step back on some of the features, was still a rock solid app. A major impediment was the overwhelming majority of the users were clueless on using several features built into the app. They would have been most comfortable using AA Reader. I was using Pro daily up until retirement. Now I only occasionally being retired.I think Acrobat may be getting a bad rep which I do not believe can be blamed on Adobe. I think this may be due to some aftermarket apps which can generate a PDF. When most users see the Adobe PDF logo on the file an assumption is made the file was created using Adobe AA Pro. May someone can shed light on how these companies are generating these files. The other day I downloaded a PDF from a government website. I have a myriad of issues with this file. Hello,I am using the Acrobat DC reader and while all tools are accessible for me to use within, "Organize Pages"--I am unable to delete or even separate pages after I obtained signatures within the document through Docusign.The only other method I can think of is printing out these documents as a hard copy and physically removing them from the stack to re-scan all over again.Please advise as I would like to know if the functionality to remove/delete pages for signed documents is available.Best,Katrina

I am remediating PDFs for accessibility to be put on a local government website. The design/PDFs were made using Canva by another department. When I change the reading order in the doc shown in the video, one of the text columns rotates upside-down and massively increases in size. If I change which item I drag to change reading order, sometimes it will just put one column directly on top of the other. I have not found a way to make it leave the text where it is. Acrobat doesn’t seem to recognize the text as one block when I use the “edit” tool to try to move the text back manually - it tends to only pick up one letter at a time. Can Adobe AI translate a pdf from a foreign language?

I’m still using Acrobat 9.5, and it’s always worked fine. However about two weeks ago it suddenly started appearing blurry (both the menu UI and pdf contents), like the scaling issue from Windows. PDFs also look bigger at the same Acrobat zoom level. However, going into Properties > Compatibility > Change High DPI Settings does nothing with any combination of options. If I set the display scaling to 100% instead of 150% it’s sharp, but then all the text and icons are too small across Windows.Since it just started recently I assume there may have been a Windows update or something, but I tried rolling back the most recent update, and uninstalling recent programs (none of which I would have expected to conflict anyway), and none of those did anything either. Anyone have suggestions as to what the problem may be here? This is driving me up the wall because I use it all the time, and Adobe won’t even let you install Reader without uninstalling Acrobat Pro which I need.

I’m trying to very simply automate a form for work and I learned a couple things with JavaScript, but I have no prior experience. I’ve seen similar versions of this question get asked here, but I can’t figure out why my output is not working.I have one field called ‘Total Impervious Surface’ (TIS) that I’m trying to bring the value into a custom calculation for, do some simple math to, then output this value into the field that this custom calculation is attached to. This TIS field is the product of simple addition of two other fields that is working fine.Currently I have:var TIS = this.getField("Total Impervious Surface").value;    var SSDC = 55*(Math.ceil(TIS/500));    event.value = SSDC;And getting an output of 0 when TIS is any value other than 0. When TIS is 1000 the output should be 110 or when TIS is 1600 the output should be 220 and so on.The SSDC output is also intended to be a dollar value. On the example below, currently N/A has to be entered manually by typing in the cell or freehand using a stylus.  This is causing some issues with the time taken to complete some of our larger forms and also handwriting skills and neatness vary greatly between our personnel, as can be seen in the 2nd pic below.The plan is to add a 2nd column with an ‘N/A?’ checkbox next to the numbered ones so that selecting it would add ‘N/A’ to the adjacent fillable cells - and possibly grey them out as well.  The 1st pic below does show the fillable cells coloured but once entries are made and the form saved, when reviewed using Adobe Reader the shading is not visible.  It would be referrable to retain the shading if at all possible.As in the 3rd pic, is it possible to get just one entry of N/A added and the rest of the cells lined through from corner to corner?I’m relatively inexperienced using scripting in Acrobat in this manner so any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I know how to create Acrobat preflight profiles, and I know how to create actions that use preflight profiles, and I have an action that uses a preflight profile that checks a bunch of PDFs and copies any with color to a folder.But, I’d like to narrow that down to finding just text objects with color, but I can’t for life of me figure it out.I’ve found the single fixup “Object is not black” but that does all objects.Is there really no way to do this or am I missing something?Thanks!Ken

V klicence naisntalovan certifikat a vsude je jako "duveryhodny". Postupoval jsem dle navodu Adobe a pri vyberu podpisu, naslednem kliknuti na podepsani pri ukladani dokumentu hodi hlasku: Pri podepsiovani se vykytla chyba. Opravneni vyprane pro podepsani neni platne. Viz obr., a dokuemnt se nepodepise. Ten stejny certifikat mam nainstalovany na Mac Book Air a tam vse funguje. I travel a lot and like to post images across sites, and for clients when required. My usual process is that raw images are edited and saved as JPGs in a subfolder and I put these within the original date folder.When I return home, I export these relevant date folders as a catalogue (where I make sure to include the JPG subfolders) and then import them to my desktop. These tend to get grouped together (not ideal) and then my JPG images no longer appear after this. It's very confusing as this is the only format I use at this stage in the process. Anything afterwards I dabble in PNG, SVG or WebP. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

In editing  the 700KB PDF I replaced many of the fonts, and many, many subsets of the new fonts were embedded in the revised PDF. So now the list of embedded fonts in it is huge, some subsets being duplicated or even triplicated with different encodings, and some fonts not used at all in the file (e.g. sans serif fonts) as well as the font that I replaced in editing the file also appear in the list,.  I've made screenshots of this huge list of fonts, which I would attach to this post if that could be done. I'm attaching a folder containing screenshots of the list of fonts in the Properties of thefileApart from the fact that the file is now bloated because of the embedded fonts, it has also been deemed unacceptable for POD publishing by Ingram Spark because its list of fonts includes AS USED BUT NOT EMBEDDED  fonts which in fact are not used in it. I wonder if anyone has ever encountered this sort of problem. 

I have been having difficulties with Adobe for a while. I have a paid subscription enabling me to export pdf files to docx. (renewed in June) For a few months (even before I renewed) the conversion feature has not been available from within documents, only if I go to my account. Instead it offers me the opportunity to take out a subscription (which I already have). It has gotten worse and worse. Now I cannot even open pdf documents from my file explorer - I am getting the message “Something went wrong” “A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error”. I have important work to do with a strict deadline and need to open and print files and convert some to word.How can I fix this mess? 

I have a question about the annotation workflow in the new Acrobat integration with WhatsApp.Suppose Person A annotates a PDF and shares it with Person B. Then Person B adds their own annotations and forwards the updated PDF to Person C.How does Person C know which annotations were made by Person A versus Person B? Are annotations attributed to their respective authors, or do they all appear as a single set of comments? Also, will Person C always see the annotations from Person A, or does that depend on how the PDF is shared or saved? 😟I'm curious how annotation history and authorship are handled in this workflow, especially when documents are passed between multiple people.If anyone has already tried this workflow or has experience with it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
