Trying to manually install the Adobe extension in Firefox and I get a message that the .XPI file is corrupt.  I am running Adobe Acrobat (64bit) v 25.001.20756 and Firefox v144 I am trying to install adobe_acroboat-1.0-windows.xpi from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\WebExtn\signed_extn

Typically I've been able to collect comments on a shared PDF in Acrobat Cloud, and then make a new copy of the PDF with comments still intact (which I then edit). This is no longer the case: when I make a new copy of the PDF, the comments are gone. Is this a known issue and are there any plans to fix it?

Attempting to open a .pdx file causes Acrobat to open as a process in Task Manager, without opening the Acrobat application itself. Acrobat is then unresponsive, and will not load when the user attempts to open a .pdf or open Acrobat via the Start Menu. The user must end the process in Task Manager before Acrobat will open again. This issue first appeared in version 25.1.20756 and is present in version 25.1.20813. The last working version is version 25.1.20531. Tested using 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat running on Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.6899. Workaround: If the user manually opens Acrobat before opening the .pdx file, the file opens as expected.

I'm an Adobe support person in the Middle East. I'm an Acrobat Certified Expert (ACE), Photoshop (ACE) and InDesign (ACE). I worked in the publishing and printing industry since 1997. I've been an Adobe Certified Instructor since 2004. I often provide consultation to Offset printers of the best practices on PDF handling in print jobs.   Over the years I had quite often complaints from Adobe users about their PDFs behaving slow, freezing, and having issue when printing these PDFs to the local printer machine. I often go online with the client to inspect the issue closely to find that these PDFs were generated from AutoCAD.   The PDFs contains CAD drawing with hundreds of layers, complex details including live text or outlined text in some cases. In all similar cases, the customer is on Windows platform, I usually ask them to share the file for my own testing, however, I use a high end Mac mahine, I don't experience the problem which the owner of the file had on their Windows m

Hi, I scanned in a book and then used Adobe Acrobat Pro to OCR everything.  When I try to print out the resulting PDF, a single page emerges from our Sharp MX-6071 copier that readsERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: Pro-Italic-380 I get the same error printing to an HP M554.  From my limited understanding, I'm guessing that the OCR conversion used a font that isn't available on either printer.  I am not sure how to remedy this problem.  I tried exporting to encapsulated postscript, but that created a separate file for each page, which is rather unwieldy. Thank you for your input.

Hello all!My org has been having on-and-off issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro [version 25.001.20756] Users are unable to get Acrobat to launch, but multiple Acrobat background processes will open in task manager. I've been investigating for a few days, trying anything to troubleshoot this issue. This is what I've learned so far.- The only permanent fix I've found so far has been using the Adobe Cleaner to wipe out everything and reinstall Acrobat, but is a hassle to do for remote users.- Compatiblity Mode has not resolved any issues, but I also read that it effects functionality (which is not a viable option for some users)- On occasion, closing ALL Adobe background processes (Updater, Notification, Licensing, etc) and running Acrobat as Admin does force open the program but isn't guaranteed.- I suspect it could be a Windows/File Permissions issues since the program opens when I "Run As Different User" under my administrator account but I can't be sure.Does anyone (others in my situati

I'm using Adobe Pro DC 2025. The PDF file I open appears correctly. However, when I try to export to Excel, the letter "O" appears as a "ü" in Excel. Going to Edit Page > "Any Changes" > Save and then Export to Excel, the file transfers without any problems. So, there's no problem reading the file. However, when I try to open the PDF directly and export to Excel, I experience a character problem.

Bonjour, Depuis que j'ai installé Adobe Creative Suite (septembre 2025), lorsque je produis un pdf à partir de Word en utilisant la fonction "Enregistrer au format Adobe PDF", tous les numéros d'appel de notes dans le texte sont précédés d'un minuscule code : "0F" avant la note 1, "1F" avant la note 2, etc. Ces codes sont tellement petits qu'on dirait des points, on les voit à peine.Ce bug ne se produit pas si je crée le pdf avec "imprimer + pdf", ou "enregistrer sous + pdf"...Je joins un pdf avec ces minuscules codes qui sont apparus ("document de démonstration.pdf").Quelqu'un a eu le même problème ?

Hello, I've tried everything and for some reason, a logo from a document is not showing it in the tags panel. Which is preventing it from completing the accessibility check. I've selected the logo through "Reading Order" and made it a figure but it's still not recognized. Could anyone provide any assistance? Thanks

Combine files works fine for word files, excel files fail with error File filename.xlsx could not be converted to PDF. Please remove it from the list and try again. When you press combine, excel does not launch, just get error message.  Updated adobe, updated office, sfc /scannow, etc etc. Completely stuck. Windows 11.

Here is the problem.  I am using PDF pro and when I combine documents the text becomes messed up.  This does not apply to all the text but rather the added text by a third party.  As you can see in picture, the text goes from clear to smashed together.  From what I can piece together, this seems to be some issue with embedded fonts (ArialMT).  Possible that the agency adding the text is using an older version, or some other issue. To clarify a few things, I am using the most current version and keep Adobe Acrobat up to date.  Secondly, this has happened before many times and Adobe seems to patch the fix at some point.  Lastly, I cannot reach out to the agency who is creating the added text as it is a government entity. Given the above and the pictures, I am looking for Adobe to either provide a fix within setting or patch the issue.  I already use the work around by printing the documents via MS print to PDF but that is greatly slowing

I spent hours highlighting text on an adobe pdf file, but when I reopened it recently, the highlighted portion was gone. I'm not sure if I forgot to save it. Is there a way I can recover it? It would be extremely helpful if anybody has tips to recover it. Thanks

Can I request an E-Signature in Adobe Acrobat Pro using a "Secondary Email Address" that I have registered and verified in my Adobe account?  If yes, how do I select the secondary address.  I don't want to change my primary account address.

The newest versions (February 2024) of both Acrobat and Reader were just installed on my Mac. The interface has completely changed, and not for the better, IMO. I was previously using a very specific setup with multiple Tool Buttons an easy click away. They were readily available in a strip of buttons along the top of my window. I used those all the time and found the layout very intuitive and efficient.But now, the new interface is emulating Apple's UX approach to HIDE or remove everything! How do I  Zoom a PDF to a specific magnifcation? How do I quickly move to the first/last page in a PDF? No clue how anymore. Those options are either buried somewhere, completely changed or gone altogether.Can I reinstate the missing buttons? Apparently not. They do not exist.For the ones that do remain, I am unable to add to and customize the one Toolbar that was not removed. This revamp is extremely unhelpful and requires several extra clicks to do the same task as what previously neede

J’ai essayé l’outil de réparation de Ilove pdf, sans succès. D’autres fichiers tels que .docx  par contre sont récupérés sans problème.Il y a-t-il une solution ?
