Hi Everyone, when opening a cloud document in the desktop app to edit the document, shared comments won't load. I've attached a screenshot. We've already tried:Upgrades from Windows 10 > Windows 11, driver updates, and the following suggestion found on the forum:In Acrobat, Click Edit > Preferences > General > Uncheck 'Show online storage when opening the file' > click OKClose and reopen AcrobatAcrobat has been reinstalled multiple times and is currently on the version 25.001.20577 but there have been updates since the issue began that have not fixed the issue.'Uninstalling using Revo Uninstaller to remove remaining files and reg keys and reinstalling. Windows is running version 24H2 Build 26100 Any other suggestions? We have this happening to 2 users. One it is a new issue within the last day, and the other has had the issue going on 3 months.

I’m using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2026.001.21691 (Enterprise) on Windows 11, and I’m running into an issue when trying to edit text.I select text on the page, then choose Edit Text from the popup menu. This opens the Edit Tools pane, but the pane only shows Modify Page, Add Content, and More.When I click Text under Add Content to display the Format Text options, the text I originally selected becomes deselected. The highlight disappears, and Acrobat no longer shows that the text is highlighted or ready for editing.I also tried holding Ctrl to select the entire page and then clicking Edit Text, but the text still becomes deselected as soon as the Format Text category opens.I tested this on multiple PDF files (including files I created myself), and the exact same behavior occurs, so it doesn’t appear to be file‑specific.Is this normal behavior? ADA complaince has been extned undtil May 2027, but we want to clean up all our pdfs.  The accessibility checker is giving me many of these. It is time-consuming to do each one. Is there a way to find all the figure tags and delete them with one kesytroke?Not sure if deleting that tag is good for someone with ADA, so please advise if there is something else I should be doing, that is reasonable.   

I’ve PDF’d an accessible front cover design from InDesign but when checking the accessibility checker in Acrobat it flags items that aren’t in the PDF.The PDF has a cover image, heading, logo and two coloured boxes.But the accessibility checker flags:Tagged content Tab order Alt text for figures, nester alt text, associated with content, hides annotation, other elements Table issues including rows, TH and TD, headers and regularity Lists for list items and Lbl and Lbody Headings, appropriate nestingI’m not sure if this is an Acrobat or InDesign issue - opening older Acrobat files seems to be okay.

User affected current issue - sign panel disappear - so removed and installed program again. although the user has assigned standard license, the license shows blank and overall functions looks like adobe reader on the desktop app. When I checked his account on adobe site, it seems the license assigned correctly. rebooted desktop, login and out tried but still same. anything I could try more? 

 Hi, to fix certain issues with in PDFs, my work has us export the PDF file into a Postscript file before using Distiller to create a new PDF from that postscript file. One of my team ran into an issue where the new PDF file is never created, the log just says: %%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: þ± ]%%%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %% I’ve attempted to the exact same file with the same process, and succeeded. Is there some setting that we could be missing that causes it?

My job is to scan tens of thousands of documents. With this workload, any slowdown on productivity represents a risk on the long term.I'm experiencing persistent crashes in Adobe Acrobat while scanning. The issue has been ongoing for several months and continues after updates and a reinstall.Environment:Adobe Acrobat 26.1.21662 (also occurred on previous 26.x versions) Windows 11 Pro Intel Core i7-14700 16 GB RAM Intel UHD Graphics 770 Ricoh Fujitsu fi-8170 (Scanner)Symptoms:Acrobat crashes almost exclusively during scanning or immediately after initiating a scan. Most crashes occur while scanning multi-page documents, although they have also happened after short scans and even shortly after opening Acrobat. The scanner itself does not consistently report an error; Acrobat is the application that crashes.I've collected multiple crash reports, and although the exception codes vary (including 0xC0000409 and more recently 0xC0150014), they consistently reference Acrobat's scanning compone

I am having issues with Adobe Acrobat Cloud. When opening a shared document in the app the comments will not show up. I am also unable to share a document via the Adobe Acrobat Cloud. 

My adobe keeps trying to send emails with the old vbersion of outlook and it freezes the computer. How do I set it up to work with the new outlook??

Hallo zusammen,mein Acrobat stürzt sofort ab und ich kann keine PDF-Dateien öffnen. Stürzt auch sofort ab. Ich habe es heute 8 Stunden mit dem Support versucht, aber die machen nichts. Sie loggen sich per Adobe Remote Support auf meinen Computer und lassen mich stundenlang warten und melden sich dann nicht mehr. Ich habe es ca. 10 Mal mit AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021 deinstalliert und wieder installiert. Nichts hilft. Vielleicht hat jemand von euch eine Idee? 

I would like to hide the task/issue name in my timesheet weekly view. We usually log time only against projects, and currently the assigned task names are visible under the project name, which we do not want.Please let me know if there is a way to hide this or if it can be done through Fusion automation.Regards,Diksha G.

At least one signature invalid" on a document that I have to have staff digitally sign yearly and then myself. My staff has returned it back this year but it will not allow me to digitally sign, stating error above. It will not let me validate signatures either. see picture

Has anyone seen text disappearing when manually tagging PDFs?  I open the accessibility tool, select the text to tag, then click the appropriate tag button, and the text disappears.  Anyone seen this?  Help?

Has anyone delt with mapping issues and potential font transformations making my pdf illegible but only for specific characters, lines / words and relevant phrases.  the result is felt at the parsing level not typically the human read level I know it’s quite vague but it’s also not buried in the weeds where it seems to want me to live. lol thanks 

When launching the Adobe application, nothing happens. If we open Task Manager, we can see several Adobe processes running in the background. We have to end all of these processes manually before the application can be launched successfully.The issue occurs randomly and can happen several times throughout the day. At the moment, three users are affected.We have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:Repaired the installation. Uninstalled and reinstalled the application. Performed a complete uninstall using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove all Adobe components before reinstalling.Despite these steps, the issue persists.

Adobe Reader isn’t even OPEN, yet I still receive “notifications” by Adobe advertising some functionality like signing documents. What the actual F*CK, Adobe? The only other company I know that would show this level of audacity would be AutoCAD - and Microslop themselves, of course. That’s one way to get blocked from EVER showing me notifications again, Adobe.I’d say it’s one way to lose me as a customer as well, but that ship has sailed LONG ago and I only use this sorry excuse of a PDF reader because my company forces me to.

It did not work for me. It's still asking me to save when all I do is open the document.

I'd like to know if there's a way to disable the popup that says "Do you want to save changes before closing?"?For example, I open a multi-page pdf. I extract one page. Click the "Save" icon. "Save as PDF" window opens. Type new file name. Click "Save." Click the "x" to close the newly saved file. Then the prompt for "Do you want to save changes before closing?" pops up....WHY!?It's the same for just simply opening and closing a file. Open file. Click the "X" to close. BOOM. stupid "save" prompt comes up. I don't have any changes to save.This is a HUGE time-suck considering how frequently I use these functions. The previous version of the program that I had did not give me this issue. I only got the prompt to save when I'd actually make changes to the document.This is for Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017. This is on my office computer as well, so I likely won't be able to run scripts or whatever other fancy fixes are suggested. I'll likely be limited to options already preset within the pro

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2025.001.20918.Previously, I had Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2024.005.20399 and I had a Javascript file in directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Javascripts\which was an option under the “Edit” menu with my old version (using the older user interface rather than the default new interface). I can not find where to select this javascript with the new version.  I have not figured any setting in the new version to enable use.  Please advise.

Every time I scan a document Acrobat is cropping the scanned page to something smaller than an 8.5 x 11 page (see attached document). How to I prevent this from happening?

A month ago, I cancelled two of my plans and was promised a refund. The next thing I know, Adobe somehow prolonged the subscription and when I cancelled the plans, they charged me a cencellation fee way to high (around € 150.00 each). Is it possible that there was an error on Adobe's side when I initially cancelled my plans?

This seems like a very simple feature that Acrobat is missing. On other PDF viewers -- for example, the standard document viewer on Archive.org -- you are able to customize your viewing preferences, such as changing the brightness and contrast or adding a black-and-white filter. I find that extremely helpful for PDFs that are not well-scanned, because I can tweak my view to make it the most readable. Since Acrobat does not allow for such customization, I’m stuck reading the PDF as it was originally scanned. Why does Adobe neglect these simple accessibility tools? Acrobat is supposed to be the industry-leading PDF viewer!

Emailing from AcrobatHas Acrobat been fixed so there is a simple way to email a pdf from the app instead of having to exit to an email client? In prior versions this was a one click process and now it is a convaluted mess that does not work.  I say this as a 40-year user of Adobe products to make my living. This acrobat email mess makes me feel betrayed. BTW, I have in preferences listed my gmail account as default and unchecked send files as links.Thanks to those who know more than me,Joe
