HiCan anyone tell me how to add Twitter, Facebook & Instagram icons to a pdf that when clicked will link to my accounts?thanks

Whenever I try to open up Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I get a Windows Installer pop-up that says Preparing to install...Then it asks me for a serial number or if I have a subscriptionThe account has a subscription, so when I click that button it gets stuck at Installing Adobe Acrobat DC (because it is already installed): I am updated to the latest version 2022.001.20142When I click check for updates I get the error code "111100"I have tried to repair the installation and it just freezes Acrobat Pro DC and makes it unable to open if closed.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.I have also tried uninstalling, using the AcroCleaner to make sure everything was removed, and then reinstalling.None of these things worked.Has anyone seen this recenetly? How do I make the "Start your free trial of Acrobat" popup stop appearing? It delays things every time I open Acrobat and I will never use it. I'm not going to start my free trial, because I can't do even that without giving credit card info. I just want the popup to never appear again.

HelloI'm working at a law firm where we a lot of cases, which case material involve a bunch of .msg files with attachments, so when the workers are trying to combine all the case material into one big PDF they get an error since .msg is not supported.Now at this time they open every .msg file in Outlook and then save the mail and attachments as PDF but if a case have 10+ .msg files with attachments, it sums up in quite a lot of time wasted in the whole case solving Progress, which is not a good thing for the workers or the people trying to get help.So if anyone knows an easier way to convert .msg into a Adobe supported format then I'm all ears.(Sorry for any broken English)

This topic pops up periodically in the Acrobat community, but none of the prior resolutions fit my situation. I confirmed with my coworkers that this issue is not unique to my computer as multiple people have this same issue.  With Adobe Acrobat Pro open, right-click Copy works fine; however, when I'm copying data between forms and applications all day, and Acrobat is the only one that CTRL-C doesn't work, it has resulted in the wrong data being pasted or none at all. It is now getting to the point of impacting workflow for our team.I did NOT have this issue when using Adobe Acrobat Reader; however, this became an issue when our company updated its license to Adobe Acrobat Pro - Continuous Release, and we are currently using V. 2024.003.20.180. There are NO restrictions set on the forms. Thank you in advance for any assistance. 

after Microsoft Windows 11 update version 24H2 has been applied on our computers, the stamp feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro no longer works

I am having a major front problem when editing PDFs. I have Adobe Pro 2020 Build: 20.5.30803.10803 and I'm on a Macbook Air M2 running macOS Sequoia 15.7.1. I have updated everything, reset Adobe preferences, and the issue keeps happening. I have a PDF that I spent HOURS creating with form fields. I have regular text (not form field) that I need to edit periodically. The font is Quattrocento, which I have installed in my font book. I have had zero issues with using this in the past with Adobe Pro 2020. However, now, when I go to edit, I can make one edit with Quattrocento, for example, number or one word, but when I move to a second number of word, Adobe reverts to Helevetica. I cannot then select Quattrocento or any other fonts. If I close Adobe and reopen, I am then allowed to make the one edit with Quattrocento before the issue happens again. I just upgraded from Adobe acrobat Pro to DC.  In the older version, I was able to select multiple text boxes at once, copy them, and past them without any problem.  I was also able to select multiple objects that I made (lines, etc), AND text boxes at the same time to copy and paste.  Under the older version, I selected multiple text boxes / objects by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting the multiple objects.  Now, I seem to only be able to select 1 text box at a time to copy and paste, and even so, I don't seem to be able to select any text boxes with objects at the same time to copy and paste.  If I hold the Ctrl key when I try to select multiple text boxes, it only reverts to the most recent text box, and that's it.  I am still learning DC and like many of the features that seemed to have improved upon the older versions, but not being able to use the multiple select feature in the newer version is confounding me.Thanks for any help / answers.

Hello, everyone, I am having trouble getting the correct line weight of a chart when I export as Acrobat PDF from InDesign. I got the correct line weight when I use CutePDF.  Please see pictures below. I tried to change the line weight in the original file. It didn't help. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? The client doesn't want the thinner lines.  

How do you continue to open PDFs with Acrobat from Chrome and optionally choose to save the file to the computer, but still be prompted for a file location? As it stands, when I save a file, it always saves to the Downloads directory. I want to be prompted before it saves.

There is possibility to rotate for 2 and more degrees only, but some documents have to be rotate ffor1 degree only. Why there is no possibility to rotate it for 1°, and how can I do this?

Hi,I am trying to have a Box (Box B) populate based on the choices from Box A.  But it would be a combination of an autopopulated value or a value that the user types in (not sure if that is possible). Box A has two choices "Average Market Value" & "Purchase Price" that the user chooses If the user chooses Average Market Value in Box A--Other fields visibly appear and are user-populated (SourceName1, Val1Amt, SourceName2, Val2Amt, & avgVal)--Box B is ultimately auto-populated based on one of these fields ("avgVal")But, if user chooses Purchase Price in Box A, --Fields are hidden (SourceName1, Val1Amt, SourceName2, Val2Amt, & avgVal)--User can type a value into Box B  Is this possible or should I separate Box B into different fields? Thank you for any ideas on this one!Leslie

I have restricted mt document :Printing Allowed: High ResolutionChanges Allowed: Commenting, filling in form fields, and signing existing signature fields. However it will now allow the "RESET FORM"   'Action' button i created to not work without adding the password. This defeats the purpose, i have looked at all other settings and tried using Java Script instead of the Action button and still not working. I cannot seem to find a simple resolution. 

I am using Acrobat 2020 Pro and trying to mark pages as exhibits. However, when I assign a letter or number to an exhibit, it hides the text so it cannot be seen. I have tried changing the layers, but nothing seems to work. The only fix that I can find is to change the opacity of the exhibit sticker to 50%, and then everything looks washed out and extremely unprofessional. Please help because my deadline is racing up on me!  

Hello all,All I did was add a text box comment to the document, now the comment pane shows up everytime I open it. I have attached the offending PDF.  At this point I will discontinue using comments, a bit annoying. I go to the Preferences in Acrobat, in the Commenting category. I then uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened", then hit the OK button and preferences closes. I then close the program, have restarted my computer, yet when I open a document with comments the comments pane shows back up and when I go back into preferences the box is checked again. I also did an uninstall and reinstall, but that did not help either. I have also tried the check "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" without success. Does anyone have any idea to resolve this or is this a bug that Adobe needs to fix, if so how do I submit this for processing...?

I spent bloody ages sorting my pdfs and arranging all of their contents through the bookmark feature; was pretty proud of myself and then decided to "star" my two pdf docs I spent the most time catergorising. ya know? Because they were quite precious and I wanted to seperate them from all my uncatergorised docs.... Does Adobe think their bloody funny or somethin'? Is my entire afternoon just a bloody joke to 'em? Cos it bloody feels like it. Now I'm currently decending into the deepest pits of sadness as all of my hardwork seems to have been erased... as all of my bookmarks have been wiped of the face of the earth. I'm sad now. Edit: I tried to get over myself and remade all of my bookmarks. They stayed for a little while and I thought "Woah...is this...really gonna work out..?" No. No it wasn't. As soon as I opened a seperate PDF, the bookmarks on the former were eradicated completely. We have various versions of Adobe in our office environment. Adobe 10,11,12,DC, using Outlook 2010, on Windows 7 machines. We have been using the Adobe PDFMAKER auto email archive for sometime with odd results. We use it to save multiple email folders to several locations on the network. It will at various times just pull up on a single computer and freeze part way through the auto archive process. Does not display an error, nor does the log file give clues as to why it has frozen. It will just freeze on a random folder with the progress bar window open. No one version of Acrobat seems to perform any better or worse than the others.Have tried various things to resolve. Repair of Adobe, uninstall and reinstall of Adobe remove and re enable the plugin. Remove the stuck folder from the list, rerun the auto archive and it will then stick on another random folder, remove that folder from the list and it sticks on another folder and so on. We have also made sure to check that the folder path

In Adobe Acrobat Professional, I have set my default setting for text in a text callout to be a helvetica, blue, centered, and bold. All come up correctly in the next text callout except the text isn't bold. What's going on?

Hi,We use the Admin console to administer our domain's user accounts and license assignments for Acrobat. We use Federated IDs with SSO to our Azure tenant. We don't use Adobe Sign or have any licenses for it.Recently one of our Acrobat users was asked by an outside party (Not in our domain or tenant) to sign a document with Adobe Sign. When they tried to sign the document it brought up their federated login, asking them to sign in with their Azure credentials. From that they get an error "Something went wrong Please wait as we work to fix this problem, then try again. If the problem persists, contact customer service." with a single button "Go back to sign in". In the end the users agreed to use a different platform to sign that document so I can't continue troubleshooting with that account, but I'd like to permit the use of Adobe Sign if it's something we need to explicity allow. Is this issue because we don't have any Adobe Sign licenses? Is there a setting in the admin console

It would be really helpful to be able to pin regularly used documents so they could be opened readily without a plodding through File > Open or scrolling through Home > Recent. MS office products do this so nicely...

Hello Everyone, I am having an issue with referencing and pulling up a page template in my pdf. I tried to combine files into the PDF as previous f=discussions have mentioned as heir resolution, but to no avail.  I have a form field that, when different options are selected, set the corresponding page templates from hidden to visible. There is one 5 page pdf that, when combined and setup as a template, produces a "bad parameter" error when the code executes. The pdf itself opens without an errors normally, and no other pages that were combined produce this error. Even though I get the bad parameter error dialog box popup, the 5 pages still open up and I am able to view them, but I cannot seem to remove the error. Ay help would be greatly appreciated!
