I keep getting an "application error" that says "The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) that occurred in the application at location0x00007FFFA93EFE0A" and other locations. Sometimes it crashes the program. Has anyone had this? Fixes?

Hello,I am attempting to open a PDF that was sent by a 3rd party vendor. The PDF crashes when opened through Acrobat. However, it can be opened through Microsoft Edge. A temporary workaround I found is to open it through Edge and then print using “Microsoft Print to PDF”. That allows me to open the PDF with Acrobat. Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to create "repeating" radio buttons in Adobe Acrobat Pro. I have a PDF with multiple pages that needs to be filled out. The first section is the gender. First I created a group and put 2 choices in (male and female). Afterwards I duplicated the group using the "duplicate across pages" function. The problem is, that if I select "male" on page one, on page two, the radio buttons ar still not checked. With a text field this is no problem. I duplicated the text field "name" from the frist page to the second. If I write a name in the field on page 1, it automatically transfers the same name onto page 2. Is this possible somehow with radiobuttons?

This just started happening.  When I try to update the APP it says an update is available but then the process cancels because it says it can’t find a file.  I have tried multiple times uninstalling Adobe with the special tool but that does not help.

Context:I’m working with dynamic IRS PDF forms. When I open these forms in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox, I can populate fields and save the PDF. The typed values are visible in the browser.  We’re a small accounting firm. However, when I open the same saved PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro, all the fields appear blank, even though they were populated in the browser.Questions:Why does Acrobat Pro not display field values that were typed and saved in browser PDF viewers? Is there a supported way to save a browser-edited PDF so that Acrobat Pro recognizes the field values? Are there recommended workarounds to preserve editable fields and their data when switching from browser editing to Acrobat Pro?I’d appreciate guidance or best practices for ensuring that form field data populated in a browser remains visible and editable in Acrobat Pro.

Hello everyone, as of recently we have been unable to open Adobe Acrobat without it basically failing and wanting to close down. I believe it is connected to this Adobe Acrobat DC Continuous update failing to update or even install I think. When I install with setup.exe I can install Acrobat 25.1, but if I want to use an mst and use the msi install, it installs 21.1.Want to figure out how to install Acrobat 25.1 with the mst applied.

when I double click text In a PDF to edit It It moves the text box under the selected text slightly so when I enter text It doesnt line up correctly. And It also deletes the entire line when I start typing Instead of just the highlighted characters. Any help? I was also hoping to do a font match but that doesnt seem to be working either. Thanks 

Hi, when i OCR scan pages and convert to text. The text is selectable in Acrobat (Pro). But once i open that (saved) document in the newest version of InDesign it doesn’t recognize the text, and still opens it as an image.Is there a way to apply the new scanned text to the document. And remove the underlaying text and preferably keep the images?Thanks

All my adobe apps as part of creative cloud which I have a plan for have this message pop up no later than 2 minutes after opening. It is super annoying, I can’t use any of the apps I pay for and haven’t been able to since I bought the plan over 6 months ago.

I want to be able to change a stamp so that when I use it, it cannot be moved or deleted.  I know there is a "Flatten PDF" option, but I would rather change the stamp than make changes on a PDF by PDF basis.  Changing the stamp would be more efficient.  How do I make a stamp unchangeable so other people cannot move or delete it?  Thank you

I have been using Foxit for the past few years due to its extensive editing functions but I have moved to Acrobat as it now supports editing. My issue is that when I zoom to page (Ctrl-0) whiclst in the middle of a doucment it does not re-center the page in the screen view and if I use the page down to nagivate through my document, the pages do not go down by a whole page (same with page up). This is basic functionality which Foxit does with ease.

Recently, every time I open Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit) on Windows 11 (both with the latest updates), Acrobat crashes after 5-10 seconds. I don't even need to open any document, it happens even when opening an empty program.I´ve tried all sort of troubleshooting as for uninstalling and installing again, removing using the Adobe Remove Tool, updating with the creative cloud, and so, what else can I do to solve this one? There will be attached the log file I generated for the record.AdobeLogs_20251013_012008_517-win-GS.zxp

There is an issue which I do not know whether is a Word issue, an issue with the Save as PDF routine or an Acrobat issue. I will report it here in case it is an Acrobat issue but I will also report it to Microsoft: Some language attributes that can be set in HTML and saved as a Word document do not make it over to Adobe Acrobat as part of the Save as PDF process while others do. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (64-bit), Version 2026.001.21563 on Windows.When the Hand Tool (Pan Tool) is selected, the cursor repeatedly switches between the hand icon and the standard arrow cursor whenever the mouse is stationary over a PDF page. The constant flickering is distracting and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue. What I've observed:Occurs with multiple PDF files, not just one document. Happens anywhere on the pdf page itself, but not over the side bar or tool handle. Adobe Acrobat is the only application affected. Only occurs for the Hand Tool, not the Select Tool. Someone on my team is having the signature on a document go black when she does Adobe PDF. The signature is fine when she does Microsoft Print to PDF. I assume it has to do with the color processing but I’m not sure. This did not happen until the current newest version. She has been using the same document as a base (signature is on the base document), then using Adobe PDF to flatten, and it has never done this. I tested it on my computer and the same thing is happening. 

When Sending a document to be completed electronically if password protected the client uses a password to open this and sign. They are then receiving a copy of the signed document however this version is not being protected with a password and is automated. If i do not wish for the signee to receive a copy of the agreement afterwards (for security reasons). How do I switch this functionality off? Alternatively if not available, how do i ensure the signed copy sent to them will be password protected when not being issued by me but instead Adobe itself?
