I have been using Adobe for over 30 years and this has never happened to me.A few days ago I reinstalled windows 11 and Adobe CC.Language "ENGLISH".Today I had to edit a PDF document for a customer.All the numbers were Arabic at once. No matter which font I choose, it remains Arabic.If someone also has problems with this:In the preferences under Application Language: it says (English with Arabic Support). Never ever heard about it.But you can set it under Application Language to "Same as operating system".Quit Acrobat and open a document.When opened it, a dropdown menu came up with a choice for English or English with Arabic support.tss, tss, tss.... adobe.!!LOL

I took screenshots of a public domain book that was already digitized into fonts but which were not searchable. The result was better than any scan of paper would have produced. When I exported from PDF to Word I was horrified to see the OCR results which were probably worse than the software I used a decade ago - we're talking about maybe 90% accuracy. I used Nuance AdvancedPDF on the same document - software which is from several years ago and no longer available so it's not a competitive product any more. The conversion was in the high 99% and near 100. The only thing it missed was consistent typeface so that pages were bolded text rather than plain text - which is fine and easily correct. Some pages had a slightly wrong font typeface. Also easily corrected. But the characters were near 100% conversion as they should have been. So after spending all this money on the Adobe version because it's supposed to be the standard setter, why is the OCR conversion engine so horrible

Hi Team, We've configured the "Suppress sign-in in Acrobat" by Acrobat Customization Wizard for long time. This feature allow our user to use non premium features in acrobat without sign in. and paid features like edit/combine/create pdf function would be available post sign in if user has a subscription. It worked well before, if user does not have subsciption and not sign in, the acrobat just played as a adobe reader.  And for those who has a valid subscription like std and pro, they can edit/create pdf after sign in.  But recently we found when those users who signed-in with valid subscription, the acrobat still prompt up like: you do not have access to this feature. please contact your it admin for more details.  What happened and how to fix?  We really want to keep single application like Acrobat to play as reader or editor depends on whether user sign in or not instead of to deploy the separate Adobe Reader again. Thanks

I prepared a form that will be interactive.  I want to have a submit button on it that will send the form to an email or a file.  I created the button but I can't figure out how to configure it.  Please help 

Hello!  I have spent a lot of time and effort trying to speed up a slow responding fillable pdf. The document contains many radio boxes and calculations, which is causing a delay for each selection.  I have tried to convert some of the calculations to either an action or a validation script; however, my knowledge of JavaScript is limited, so there are still a number of calculations.  The file in question is attached to this post. If anyone had any suggestions to improve the speed of filling out the document in Adobe, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I have a new PC, and my version of Adobe Pro is running really slow.I have been scrolling through the community site and can't find a fix that works. I am seriously considering having my company switch to another PDF software. 

Recently took the plunge and upgrade from 2020 to Continuous however I have discovered the reuse files function in Combine Files is not working. The previous combinations show and point correctly to the files in the group, but when I click add files the dialog box just goes away and nothing is added. Since this was a feature I use daily, I need help in figuring out what the issue is.  - Thanks

As a company I purchased a Acrobat Pro licence and I want to use it for two devices. One is a laptop, the other is a PC. For some reason I can not use the Adobe on the laptop when I sign in. The sign in is successful but there is no option for editing a PDF. What could be the problem?  

Hi, wenn wir eine Datei auf einen A3 Drucker ausdrucken, bleibt Vorschau im Druckmenü auf dem falschen Format stehen. Es wird immer die Größe von A4 angezeigt. Man kann das dann temporär im Menü unter Seite einrichten einstellen, was dann passt. Beim nächsten öffnen der Datei oder einer anderen ist das Menüwieder auf A4 eingestellt.An was liegt das? Der Druckertreiber ist ein Xerox GDP PS und der Drucker ein Xerox AltaLink C8130  

Hi, I use Adobe Acrobat Pro regularly, including the ocr text recognition tool. I downloaded a large pdf file where all pages were images. I used the text recognition tool but only about half the pages were recognized. For the second half, I got the following error message:Acrobat could not replace the current page with the new recognized page because of the following error:Bad parameterThis could be due to either a low memory situation or low disk space.AndAcrobat could not perform Text Recognition on this page because:Unknown errorI tried making more space so I now have 160 GB free disk space but the problem persists. I can't find a pattern in which pages have or have not worked, except perhaps that the formatting is a bit different, two or three columns with a long vertical line separating them, for instance.I'd appreciate any suggestions for how to fix this issue.

Bonjour, J'utilise Adobe Pro pour la création, modification de documents PDF et formulaires PDF.Malheureusement, mon ordinateur (sous Windows 11) semble très lent au traitement de la demande.Exemple, si je sélectionne du texte pour changer la police, j'ai la petite horloge qui apparaît pour quelques secondes. Si je veux faire défiler les pages, c'est extrèmement lent aussi.Voici la version de mon Adobe Pro : Pouvez-vous m'aider à régler ce problème de lenteur svp ?Merci !

I first have to downloadsave it to a directory and then Open with Adobe. This was not the case last week before I upgraded. Is there a work around as I have searched high and low and I am unable to find an answer/solution.

Only thing that keeps acrobat open is if i sign out through Creative Cloud. As soon as I log back in, it continues to crash acrobat. I cannot even open PDFs to view it on my desktop anymore. How do I fix this? I have tried:1. unisntalling all adobe products and reinstalling2. Adobe cleaner tool3. Adobe repair tool I'm at my wits end. 

I work with Adobe acrobat Pro XII do not know when it started, but I cannot store  files under the same name anymore  after editing it.Even if created it new myself once stored and opened a second time, if I want to store it it say I have to use another name because the file was opened read only, or I am not the owner.Also when I change read only un der "propeerties" I cannot store it a second time under the same name.Adobe suddenly opens and creates only in a read only setting. I do not have a clue where to start looking, but it is a seriuos problem each time use another name, then delete the old one and than rename the new revision in the old name. Where can I change the setting  to open and store in read and write again?

Is there any plan for both Desktop and iPhone? I mainly use Edit functions. Purchased annual subscription for Acrobat Adobe on App Store but cannot use on desktop.

I have been unable to request e-signatures for two days, it is impacting my work. I have signed in and out of my account, checked my netowrk connection, and attempted to use other devices to send documents, and I am still getting the same error.  Is someone able to help troubleshoot this issue ASAP?

I upgraded my computer and now use Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra. My pdf document is 183 pages and I need to replace pages frequently (have been doing it for years in Mac OS 10.9) but now the document freezes and Acrobat crashes. Every other aspect of Acrobat 9 Pro works fine. www.carstenburmeister.com

Afternoon all - I've successfully installed Adobe's Acrobat Pro 2020 Mac on an Apple Macbook Pro (Apple Silicon) runing Sequioa 15.0. I can log into my account inside the app, but when I try to activate my product (with a serial number, for the classic version), I get a "Sorry, something went wong." notification regarding my internet connection. 1. I'm actively on the internet with this computer.2. I can sign in/out to Adobe account INSIDE this app, but it won't see activation server?3. I can open my Adobe account in web page, etc.4. Adobe Creative Cloud funtions (though, of course, Acrobat Pro 2020 isn't controlled there) Any thoughts? I don't have a firewall running.

Hi,I would like to set a word limit of 500 words (not character limit) on a text field in my electronic form. I have heard you can use Javascript scripts to do this but cant find any specific instructions. Could someone please provide a script for me and instruct on how to add this to my form?

I'm not sure why this is so difficult for me.  I'm trying to figure out how to format text inserted into a .pdf with the text box tool.  There does not appear to be any way to modify the text other than to increase and decrease the font size.  I don't see any options to change the font, bold, italicize, underline, ect., text that I insert into a .pdf with the text box field insert.  Can anyone give some feedback on this?

Hello, Since 2 weeks, in our IT invironment we went from 0 to 300+ users connecting to Adobe Document Cloud. This is an unintentional connection and happens when opening Acrobat. As wel as for the paid as for the free version. As we block this usage for our Data Loss Prevention policies, we get a lot of alerts that people are connecting.  Has there been any update to Acrobat? Is there an automatic connection to the cloud, and we globally disable this? And what kind of data is being transferred? Thanks.

There doesn't seem to be any way to deselect a redaction selection. This wouldn't be such an issue if it didn't keep selecting part of the page I'm not touching. Closing the tool leaves you with a reminder that there are changes to apply, but no option to cancel it w/o completely closing the file and trying again... with similar results. Yay - so efficient!1. Either fix the redaction tool so it selects what is actually being selected (not random text throughout the page - grounds for banishment for any tool in a production environment - dangerous), or...2. Make an obvious way to deselect or cancel your selection. Honestly, this seems so obvious that it feels like I have to be overlooking something.

Hello! Thanks in advance!I have a few instances where our client would like the first text field to begin where the question ends which rules out using the traditional square multi line field. Instead, I need to make a few different fields and link them for continuous typing, no hitting tab to get to the next field. Pretty sure a script can handle that but the ones I found online did not work for me.  *I am on a mac, designing in InDesign but all functionality done in acrobat.example ....THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
