When I open or print a pdf file, I receive the following error message:  

Hi I tryed everything... and I can't get the list of the tools on the left side of the screen the only tool I have there is the AI assist.  I really did everything that I found but nothing workedThank for your help. 

I've literally had to uninstall the Acrobat plugin from Google Chrome due to a very irritating behavior that just started a few days ago. The problem is like what I stated in the subject title. Every time I initially launch Google Chrome it also automatically launches Adobe Acrobat. I am not opening a PDF file in Chrome. All I am doing is just starting the web browser. Nothing else. But every time Chome is launched the Acrobat window would launch and jump in front of it. I looked all thru Acrobat's settings and Chrome's settings and couldn't find anything to defeat that annoying behavior. The only way I could finally get Chrome to stop launching Adobe Acrobat when Chrome is first launched was by removing the Acrobat plugin completely.I don't like having to remove the Acrobat browser plugin because there are nice features about it. But I don't need the Acrobat window jumping up in the way every time I launch the Chrome browser. Has anyone else been dealing with this issue lately? If so,

Everytime I open my Chrome web browswer, Acrobat opens up. However, Acrobat doesn't even completely load when this happens. It's just a blank window. How do I get Acrobat to stop trying to open whenever I open up my Chrome web browser?I am using Windows 11 on the ASUS ROG Strix Scar (2025). 

I want to add a date in the PDF so that it can be automatically updated to the date of that day every time it is openedCan anyone help? I have tried many times per the comment from the community, but it didn't work.I may need detailed steps.     

Greetings everyone, I hope I am clear enough in my post, I have a user who has acrobat pro installed on their computer and complain that as of yesterday, they can no longer convert multiple files to pdf via the context menu. It does however convert single files, here is an example:single file -> convert to pdf appearsmultiple files -> no other users on our adobe plan have this option functionning correctly as of today. for troubleshooting steps, here's what I triedregsvr32 "C:\\Program Files\\Adobe\\Acrobat DC\\Acrobat Elements\\ContextMenu64.dll"they do not have the folder in Program Files (X86) . After this I uninstalled acrobat pro completely, reinstalled it through creative cloud and then updated acrobat pro as an update was available, no dice. Tried re-registering the file, both times i registered it, it gives me confirmation that the registration is successful. does anyone have any insight to give? such as a registry key to edit or should i use

Hello, even though I paid for Acrobat through the Samsung Store, it still lists me as a free user and I can't use it even though I paid for it. I couldn't reach anyone. I hope someone from here can solve my problem. 

I open a blank Word file, type in some text, click File > Print > choose Adobe PDF > Desktop > Save. Then I get an error from Acrobat: "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found." Same error when trying Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook. When I try Chrome or Notepad, no problem. Kicker: it works in the MS apps when I choose File > Save as Adobe PDF. I tried Repairing Acrobat, Restarting, no Acrobat updates, no Office/Windows updates. Latest version (subscription) of Acrobat 2025.001.20643. Latest version of Office 365. The COM add-in is enabled in all MS apps. Windows 11 Enterprise. What am I missing?

Every post I've found for this issue is nearly 10 years old and references older versions of Acrobat so I have to ask again.I have two scenarios.1. A user has Acrobat Pro installed, but is missing the combine files item entirely.2. I have Acrobat Pro installed but can only get the Combine Files option if I select only files that are local to my computer, any file that shows the Cloud Only Status for OneDrive will prevent the menu item from showing up.We have tried- uninstalling and reinstalling and repairing- Editing registry keys- Re-registering .dll files- I've even asked chat GPT and CoPilot fir help and they've been utterly useless.This feature works perfectly fine for both scenarios above on my user's old WIndows 10 laptop so what do I have to do to make this work properly on her new Windows 11 laptop?Thank you.

Hello Adobe Community,I’ve encountered a rendering issue in the latest release of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (64-bit, Windows 11, 25.001.20630).When using qualified electronic signatures (QES) created with Digiseal desktop software, the signature image inside the signed PDF looks blurry, slightly grayish, and less color-accurate in the latest Acrobat Reader DC. However:In older Acrobat Reader DC  of this year versions (e.g. 25.001.20577,), the same signed PDF displays the signature image perfectly — sharp and color-accurate.In other PDF viewers (Edge, Foxit, Sumatra, etc.), the PDFs also display perfectly. If i print the file the ourcome is terrible. I tried a lot with Digiseal to use different images and formats, field sizes, image sizes. Sometimes it gets a little better but nothing works like it did before. As this is a big deal for me i would welcome any help or insights that could help me out!Thanks a lot!

Acrobat launches on its own, randomly, it's creepy and annoying

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Adobe Acrobat on Windows 11. Each time the system starts, Acrobat launches automatically without being requested, displaying a mostly blank window with only the hamburger menu visible in the top corner.Details:• OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)• Behavior:1. On every cold boot or restart, Acrobat opens on its own.2. The window is blank except for the hamburger menu — no other UI elements, menus, or document content are displayed.3. Closing the window manually stops it until the next startup.• Troubleshooting attempted:• Disabled Acrobat in Task Manager’s Startup tab.• Checked and removed related entries in and registry paths.• Disabled scheduled tasks related to Acrobat.• Verified no startup triggers in Adobe’s own preferences.• Tested with MSI self‑healing disabled to rule out re‑registration behavior.• Result: Issue persists despite all above measures.

Good morning, I have been receiving this error message for several days. I have already checked, as reported in other posts, that the Adobe Acrobat folder in TEMP had the correct permissions and it does because I can write to it. I also uninstalled Adobe Acrobat and reinstalled it but the problem persists. What else could I do?Thanks

Hello all, we are having issues in Adobe Reader from version 5.001.2063, when I open invoice all pictures are blurry, for example signature, company logo or QR code. Its critical bug for us as we are not able to print invoices.

Within the last week we have had the same issue reported by two unrelated customers.  In both cases embedded jpg images within PDF documents (used to include either a company logo or a stationery form) are failing to be rendered correctly when opened by some of their third-parties, appearing large and blocky (as if compressed or rendered at very low resolution) covering the text content and resulting in PDF documents being unreadable.  In one case the PDFs are purchase orders being sent to suppliers, and in the other they are invoices being sent to customers, so this is a very significant issue.Nothing had changed in either of the sending company's systems, however, based on other support tickets from the last week that I have seen, it appears that the issue might be occurring when the recipients of the PDF documents have applied a recent Acrobat Reader update. Could someone confirm that this serious bug has been acknowledged by Adobe, and that it is being treated as a m

Recently (within the past week), Adobe Acrobat DC is opening when I start my computer (PC Windows 11 Pro version 24H2). I'll exit the program and a few minutes later it will open up again. This usually continues for 3 or 4 times and then it stops doing it.I've checked the Task Manager to make sure it's turned off at start up. I'm not sure if there is an option or something within Adobe to stop this from happening that I've simply missed. It's also odd that it just now started doing this -- I've had the app on my computer for years.

I have been given access to Creative Cloud All Apps, however I'm unable to search for or download Acrobat Pro and can only find and download Standard version in the Creative Cloud Desktop App. All help is appreciated. 

Before the recent Adobe Pro update, I am able to view the contents of each individual PDFs within the PDF Portfolio without clicking "Open Document". That means one click on the file name & I can immediately see the individual PDF content.   But that feature is no longer possible. So I have click twice: First click is on the file name and the second click on the "Open Document". Because the opened file resides on a separate tab, I have to click back the prior tab to click open another file name. So many clicks required!   I know it doesn't sound like a big deal to have a few additional clicks. But in my field or work, I deal with a lot of PDF Portfolio files every day. This means I have to increase 1000% of my mouse clicks!   Can someone please roleback the old Acrobat Pro? There was nothing wrong with that and everything is wrong with this new version!! 

I've run into a new issue today for the first time. I got the "Sign-in Limit Exceeded" (or similar) dialog today. When I scrolled through the list uf supposed sign-ins, my current session was listed about 8 times. I didn't take a screenshot of it, but there were around 8 instances of something like the following, as if Acrobat had signed in multiple times, pushing me over the device limit. THIS DEVICE(Signed in 3 minutes ago) This is quite disruptive to my work, so I hope there's a simple solution to stop this happening again.Has anyone else encountered this issue?ThanksRichard

There's a problem with the 2025.001.20643 version when printing, the printing setup (double-sided especially) never remembers the latest setting used, and I need to click it manually every time.

I genreate a PDF from a word document using the PDF Printer and a standard Adobe printing profile (High Quality Print). Now I need to generate the same file, but with bookmarks and links, so I'm using the Word Add-in instead (from the Word ribbon).A specific font is generating gibberish. In the past, because I'm using language specific fonts (for Hindi, Arabic and Hebrew) I added the Windows User font folder to the distiller so that Adobe will look at both places (Windows/Fonts & "User"/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Fonts).This time it's not working. I see the font listed in the font list when I edit the generated PDF file, however, applying the font has no impact, the gibberish remains. This is a Hebrew font called David. If I use Arial Unicode or Times, the Hebrew script comes out fine, but it looks different and my client prefers the David font. Why can't Adobe handle that font in one case (Word Add-in), but it can handle it fine in the other case (PDF Printer)?

I open and close PDFs all day every day. I always have to go in and Enable Scrolling. I have it set to remember last time, but that doesn't work either. The default page view setting Single Page Continuous does nothing. This amounts to a considerable time sink every day.

Hey, ich habe bei mir auf der Arbeit das Problem, dass manche Dokumente nicht abspeicherbar sind. Man bekommen beim Ausfüllen der Felder immer den Hinweis, dass ich keine ausgefüllte Kopie speichern kann, sondern das Formular ausdrucken muss. Ich denke es liegt daran, dass wir oft bei der Erstellung der Fourmulare XfA Formularfelder benutzten. Ich habe schon öfters gelesen, dass dadurch die PDFs nicht mehr abspeicherbar werden. Ist das der Grund und wenn ja kann man irgendwie darum herum arbeiten und die Datei speicherbar machen? Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Hello. In an attempt to fix the "combine files" context menu bug introduced by a recent update, I have tried to install the 20643 optional update that supposedly resolves the problem. I'm using the 32bit version. The installer fails with "error 1335. The cabinet file PCW_CAB_ACR  is corrupt." Please provide a working installer that has been tested and which will resolve the combine files bug. Thanks, Colin.
