RH 2022Is there a way to make the search box open by default on the topic pages and not collapsed having to click the magnifying icon? Thanks! Lori

I have mini TOCs defined in the project topics(based on the H1, H2, etc. styles). I need to access them from external URLs, is it possible to do so?  Thank you for help 

Company is moving to ServiceNow, and I'm experimenting with publishing from RH to ServiceNow. I have set up a Developer Instance of ServiceNow to this end. Not starting very well .... ServiceNow Connection Failure - Could not connect to the site. Site is down or check your credentials. I have the correct URL to the developer instance.I'm signing in with an Admin Account on the instance and using the correct password. Has anyone managed this successfully and, if so, can you help me with this stumbling block out of the gate? Robohelp is latest version: 2022.4.179TIA Geo

If I accidentally set vertical aligment to let's say "centered" and then decide I don't want it centered, is there a way to turn it back to whatever it was?  I haven't been able to figure that out since I started using RH 6 months ago.  I have tried clicking on the center button to  select and then deselect, but it won't turn off.  I'm editing the Oceanic template and I'm editing the Breadcrumb section but this happens all the time in both the Style editor and the template editor.  I don't necessarily want to set it to left right or center, but if I am testing something or trying to figure something out and I set it to center and then decide that isn't what I wanted to do and I want to change it back to whatever it was set at, how do I do that?

Can anyone tell me why this red x appears on TOC section once I add an image (see screenshot).   Also, once I choose to update my TOC by choosing the AutoTOC option, my TOC it looses all of the tile images.  Is that supposed to happen?  Do I have to manually add all changes to my TOC in the event a change neesd to be made and then I have to readd all of my TOIC images?

Hello  Im looking to add javascript to a onclick in the azure blue output.  What im looking to do is add a button to the output that will open the CTRL-F in the browser, is this possible?  

Hello I recently updated to the latest version robohelp.  Any page that I edit when I output the paragraph breaks are not correct.  As you see below in robohelp I have spaces after each paragraph and in the output they do not.  Its happening once I make a change on a topic (Just readjusting the paragraph break on a page) causes the output to remove all paragraphs and breaks from the output.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.   This was not an issue with previous version nothing has changed as well.   Robohelp showing correct paragraphs breaks   Output not showing the same 

It seems the latest browser updates (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera, at least) has messed up the ability to resize the left pane (TOC, Index, Glossary, Search) in HTML5 output for all versions of RH. It was working as of a week or 2 ago, and the resizing was working in Opera this morning until I forced an update from v110 to v111. It's pretty big problem because it doesn't completely stop the resizing, it causes the pane to only get smaller without being able to make the pane bigger unless you hide and unhide it. Anyone know of a solution?

In the past I've been able to import HTML topics to RH2022 and updating the css. Is it possible to replace current HTML topics with news ones and then import them? When I try, it appears to work; however, after making small changes I get an Error - failed to save file message when I try to save.

Hi dear community,I converted a German RoboHelp 2017 project to 2022. I can output Responsive HTML5 and CHM, but in the chm all umlauts and also all special characters are replaced with questionmarks in a black box. In the TOC of the chm all umlauts are visible. The output of the Responsive HTML5 shows all umlauts properly. The German language is set to all topics in their preferences and also in the output settings of the chm. When I switch here to Russian language, all umlauts are shown correctly in the topics, but not in the TOC.Argh!Any ideas? Best regards from Munich,Thomas

I'm working in the Merge Project of Robohelp. In the child projects it looks like that my topic pages contents are all there. However, when I publish my merge project, at the end of almost every topic page from the child projects. The bottom of the page is cut off. Is there a way to fix this or I believe it might be a known bug but I could be incorrect. Thank you.

RoboHelp 2022.3.93I am making a new skin file for HTML5 based on a previous one. When I setup all the font colors on desktop version of the skin, all the colors look right on the fonts.When I go to the Tablet and Mobile versions, the colors are entered correctly on the skin fields, but when I generate, the Tablet and Mobile colors change. Dekstop still looks right.If I view the HTML5.SKN file and look for the colors, they are incorrect. If I correct them, All the skin profiles generate and display correctly. If I hit save again on the project, all the colors revert back to the incorrect colors in the SKN file though they still display correctly in the SKin edit fields. The preview looks wrong.Example: Colors on the left do not match up with the colors displayed on the right: (this is mobile)For contrast, this is Desktop and how it should look:

Since I can no longer control numbered steps, I am finding it very difficult to insert images.I have my numbering set to Multilevel List Styles. This is what I have in my guide.I insert the image at step 2 and float it to the right.  Conceivably, the wording would be more centered with the image. I have played around with the properties and I cannot figure out how to make it look right.  When I put the next line of text in, it should be number 3, but the numbering starts at 1 again. In past versions of RoboHelp I could control the number value. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi there i am trying to install RH2022 , my licence is provided by my companys single signon, the installer starts and asked me to login, which i do, in the browser it says i have successfully logged in and i can close the browser to return to the installer. however the installer doesnt continue it appears to get stuck with no notification of whats going one. any ideas ?

Hello everyone, I would like to know if it is possible to generate reports (unused files, broken links, ...) and export them in tabular format. All this needs to be done via script (without opening the interface).I'm using powershell to code an entire help build system (from Jira tickets to server updates) and I need these reports generated by RH.Thanks for your help and have a nice day !

I have content wrote in two languages. Currently I translated output to other languages with some script using AWS translate service. But then I'm not able to use search funcionality which I need to have also in translated output. When I'm trying translate project with built-in feature it takes a lot of time and every changes needs to be marked to be translated manually after each change. Could it be done somehow better? For me best option is translate projects using some calls via cmd in pipeline. Can I create translated output somehow automaticaly? I am trying to work with auto-sized popup links and not having any luck.  I am using Version 2022.4.179, which I am pretty sure is the latest available. I have tried creating auto-sized popus as a cross-reference, hyperlink, and as a link from an image map.  In all cases, the auto sizing does not work.  The popup displays with the correct content, but the popup is not sized properly. I have tried setting a specific width on the Body and Topic styles, but no matter what I have tried, the "auto-sized" popup seems to have the same dimensions.  I think it looks like the "auto-sized" pop up is using the 300x400 default setting of the custom sized popup. Am I failing to set a parameter somewhere?  Has anyone gotten the auto-sized popups to work? Thanks John

My team and I have just started publishing RH 2022 projects in a Frameless template. We also coincidentally started publishing to a new server at the same time. We're experiencing incredibly slow load times for our Frameless projects, and sometimes projects will not load at all. In some cases, half of the template is loading but no content is appearing. We're trying to determine if this is an issue with Frameless/RoboHelp or if it is an issue with our new server (maybe not enough storage space? etc.). Are there any known issues with version 2022.0.346 or 2022.3.93 regarding super slow load times, or Frameless projects not loading at all in some cases? We do not seem to have this issue with HTML5, which is extra confusing.

Good morning all, Is there a way to import an excel document to assign indexes to topics, or do we have to manually go to each topics and assign indexes. We have 8600 topics which could be a lenghty process.Thank you !christele

Hello Robohelp Friends: Our client asked us if there was a way to click away from a "pop up" (small page displaying on a larger page, usually showing a list of values/data" without clicking on the mouse. Apparently, that is a requirement by the ADA (American Disability Association) for screen readers. What I mean here is that when a user sees a pop-up on the screen, they should be able to click delete/back or some other button to shift away from the pop-up back to the main screen. Robohelp is apparently 508/Screen Reader compliant, but does not provide specifics as to how to accomplish this. Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated!
