Hello all! (robohelp version 2020.8.34) I've been setting up my projects and am now at the point where I'm asked to look into translating our documents. Right now we publish to frameless and I'm wondering what it would look like if I finished the translation of topics. What would it look like published. Is there a button that switches to a picked language or how am I supposed to see this?  I've been struggling with setting up machine translations for the provided companies: google, yandex and bing. However none of these API's are currently working for me. Luckily I can add a custom API. We've picked Deepl for this: DeepL API.  I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do for the custom script path:Is there anyone that could help me with this? I know it's a Javascript file but that's all I know. 

hello I am using version 2022.1.188.I am trying to translate with deepl, but I get an error.I have the script written correctly, the api key is correct and the endpoint is correct.I get the following error "Cannot read property '0' of undefined" I don't know what to do.I can't provide photos because I get an error on the adobe website.

Running RoboHelp 2022.1.188 on a windows PC.  I generate my PDF and what is set in topic as H1 is showing up as H2, H2 is showing up as H3, H3 as H4 etc. Whyyyyyy????And no, I cannot change the settings in the topic because I publish frameless output and all the headings show up totally right on there.Please help. Is there a way to import conditional tags, when importing FrameMaker documents to RoboHelp?For example, I have a lot of text in my FrameMaker document that has conditions applied to it. When I import the document, the text is there in RoboHelp, but it does not have any conditions on it, and it is indistinguishable from the regular content. I don't see any way to map FrameMaker conditions to RoboHelp conditions when I do the import.I'm using RoboHelp 2022.2.22, and FrameMaker 2020 (though I could upgrade to 2022 if that will help the situation).  If it is not possible to import the conditions, does anyone have any recommendations?  Here are my initial thoughts:In FramMaker, find all the conditional text and apply a new/different paragraph style to it.In Robohelp, create a corresponding paragraph style, that looks very different from regular text.When importing from Frame to RoboHelp, map the two styles to each other.In RoboHelp, find all text with the new style, apply the

Hi CommunityI have a requirement to get or crawl data made/stored in robohelp, but all I could find was a search API. Is there any documentation that could help me with this. Are there any direct APIs or a workaround to get data from robohelp into our own servers/webpage.Thanks In Advance.

I just upgraded to RoboHelp 2019 and am having the hardest time setting up and applying styles. I was just trying to figure out how to add spacing between items in a bulleted list. I went out to the Internet and found that I shouild add a line-height atribute to the ul tag. I did this, saved the project, and all of my styles have disappeared. I click the Styles tab and then the dropdown and  each group (Paragraph, Character, Lists, etc.) is empty.   When I try to add a new style to any group, the application crashes. I get an Application Error and am told to restart from the Help menu. I do this and the Styles are still gone and when I try to add one, it crashes. So frustrating!   Does anyone know how I can fix this? Is my project corrupted?   Thanks, Michele

Hi everyone,once again, RoboHelp is not quite doing what I expect it to do and I'm not quite sure why.I use RH 2022.1.188. 1. I'm trying to create a PDF with a normal, numbered TOC. My content uses Heading 1-5, and Heading 1-4 are supposed to appear in the TOC. So, in my RH TOC, I created an Auto TOC in my Frontmatter.Then I went to my Output's Template section, selected my PDF output and set "Use Headings up to Level" to 4. I also activated the two checkboxes afterwards, otherwise my PDF is messed up.When I publish my PDF, my TOC looks fine, but unfortunately, only Headings 1 and 2 are included (corresponding with my RH TOC which only features Topics on Level 1 and 2)Is there a way to include my Headings 3 and 4 as well? In the main text of the PDF, it all looks fine, Headings 3 and 4 are where they are supposed to be and they are numbered the way they are supposed to be etc. 2. Hi,I've just finished converting a large project that has 43 separate projects in it.This is output into three regions of the UK, so that's 129 times it has to compile.So I've create a batch file, as I did with RH Classic.  Only, it works sometimes, and not others. I think I've had it twice run through the first region, and never through the second and third all the way through. It might work after a reboot-- or not. It fails at different points. Some were explained by mistakes I made in the batch file, some not. I've split it into three batches, it will still not work reliably. Most of the time it just hangs...suggesting that RH has crashed in the background.  This morning, for example, on a freshly started laptop, it got four projects in before coming to a halt mid-topic. They will compile from the project, though I'm going to tediously run through them again to see if there are any issues, but as it will go right through occasionally, I'm guessing it's just

Working in RoboHelp Version 2022.0.346.In the Indigo template in the Tablet view, I have figured out how to change the background and text of all the other side menus, except for the Contents side menu.  The background is controlled by the Sidebar Background Color, but I have found no field for theText color of the Contents items tree.  Tablet View This text and background are different than the menu as you see it in the Desktop view.  In the Desktop view I can change the color of the the Content tree items, but not the one that is present in the Tablet view.   Desktop View   

I am new to RoboHelp and trying to generate my first PDF output.  I have a Table of Contents where I have added back matter for the Glossary and Index. For a template, I am using the supplied "HighTech" template, just to test things out.  In the TOC of the generated PDF, there are rows for the Glossary and Index, but they don't have a title, as in the example below (the Glossary is on page 9, the Index is on page 10).  Yet when I go page 9 and 10 in the PDF, those pages do have a title ("Glossary" or "Index").   Can anyone explain how to get the titles to show in the PDF?  I have not made any changes to the HighTech template. Hello,  I am new to RH and currently trialling version 2022.1.187. Right now I am having to export to Word since I am having an issue exporting to PDF (assuming because of OS Ventura). The issue I'm having is that the CSS for the TOC is not linking to the output. I have tried this on my own project, as well as with one of the sample projects and the issue persists. I've included an image below. It appears the header and footer styles from the TOC page layout are being pulled to the output, but not the body/heading styles. Is there a way to fix this?

We are in the process of converting our previous documentation into Robohelp. I'm trying to find and replace some old terminology that doesn't really apply to an online help system. In this case, I'm trying to find instances of "In this chapter" and replace with "In this section."However, no matter how many results I try to replace at one (Going by one contents folder to replace 14 or doing the whole project to replace 220 instance), the process hangs on "Replacing..."I've tried waiting hours and it does not complete. When I restart, none of the replacements have been executed. Looking for any tips on what I could be doing differently to get this to work before I go and make these changes manually.Thanks!  

Hi all,I am trying to update my projects to RH 2022. For my PDF output, I have several front matter topics defined, like Front Page, Copyright, Change History, TOC. In RH 2022, the templates seem to work quite different. I can find a setting to define separate page layouts for the Front Page and the TOC, but not for any further topics in my front matter section. Can this be achieved in some way? What I actually want is Header 1 / no footer for my Front Page, Header 2 / no footer for Copyright, Change History and TOC and Header 2 / footer for the rest of my document.Having Copyright and Change History in the front matter folder seems to have the effect that no template at all is applied, so they don't have a header. If I put them out of the front matter folder, the sorting sequence of my document is no longer correct. Also, is it possible to only define the look and feel (i.e. header and footer) of the front page without having to define its content as well? I have a project finished and I need to export it to Zendeck. I've setup Zendesk as a Publisher Profile, but the Zendesk options to no appear in the output panel. There is no way to send the file to them. I've been on Adobe tech support but so far they are no help. It seems like such an easy issue: where is the Zendesk options that match the Adobe Robohelp online help pages?

I upgraded my project from RH2019 14.0.14.002 (.xpj) to RH2020 2020.8.34 (.rhpj).In RH2019, in the Index Designer, two types of keywords were defined.Feature: Add Project Number is defined as an index file keyword.Feature: Addition of Original… is defined as a topic keyword (the icon has a key/page). (There were multiple instances but I am only showing one example here.)In the HTML output, both keywords show up the same way as expected. It did not seem to matter that they were defined differently in RH2019.After upgrading the project to RH2020, in the Authoring view of the Index, Feature is treated as a main keyword. Add Project Number and Addition of Original…  are treated as subkeywords due to the colon after Feature. This looks fine to me.The Topic Properties of the two topics look similar. I have been researching this problem, and I have hit a wall. We are using ancient TCS 5.0, and we are still generating and  CHM files, which various web searches claim "have been decprecated," but it turns out they really haven't, except in Microsoft Dynamics, which we aren't using -- sorry for the ramble. Anyway, the following variety of error messages pop up when I click on a link to our company's WEB page from our CHM file -- It doesn't happen on every PC. Sometimes it looks like this: Sometimes it looks like this, which requires me to End the task in Task Manager: For now, we are removing these links from the CHM, but keeping them in the soft copy PDF version. I have been tasked with researching what "replaces" CHM, and how it will work with our context-sensitve help links (map IDS in the code).Suggestions? Thanks 

Good afternoon, Iamn here again!Ihave a version of RH 2022.0.346 and I noticed that the images (in png) that can be seen well on my pc, once inserted in the project they get worse, they become blurry and the writings can not be seen well. Is there a way to make them better? Can you help me? Thanks in advance Elisa

Hello After installing the trial, I cannot find them anywhere. Not with the training video resources either. One of them is apparently called 'Compass Travel', there are others supposedly. Any idea where they are? Thanks

Hi y'all,I'm using RH 2022.2.2 and trying to customize the Oceanic frameless skin. I'd like to change the breadcrumbs separator from / to > and set the font color to one in our corporate palette. Whenever I click the Topic Page > Breadcrumbs > breadcrumbs-separator, I get an Application Error that advises me to save my changes and restart Robohelp. Is this happening for others or just me?

Good afternoon, We are working on a project that is 1.37GB / 61,791 files / 1401 folders in size. As soon we we Auto-Create the TOC, the program appears to still be workng but becomes unresponsive and laggy. I will try to arrange the TOC and the program hardly does anything. I let it sit for up to 20 minutes with no apparent progress in whatever it may be doing ( No progress bar for creating the TOC is given as well ). Is this too big of a project for Robohelp to handle? My system appears to be handling whatever load the Robohelp is placing on it based off of Task Manager. Thanks in advance,Danny
