It truly drives me nuts that often when I click on a layer (in the layers panel) to then do something directly to that layer on the canvas, it many times will start working on / activate a different overlapping or adjacent layer, most times an adjustment layer. But of course it could be any layer that happens to be in the same vicinity. Is there any way to deactivate this? Photoshop didn't used to do this. You had to click on a layer (in the panel) to change it or work on it. My workaround is to temporarily lock or hide the layer I don't want to accidentally select, but it is silly that I have to do that. Whoever thought that clicking on a layer (to change to another layer) directly on the canvas was a good idea, probably doesn't actually USE photoshop on a regular basis. I cannot be the only person who hates this (?) Help!

98% of what I open are billing statements. I want to see ONLY the statement. The bookmarks window is a pain in the behind and it waste my time to have to close it not to mention the frustration as a result. We pay out the wazoo for this subscription for all the tools when we use only a few of them. It would be incumbent upon Adobe to design it so it works in a fashion best suited for the users who have been faithful for years. Altering things that make life more difficult is an inspiration to look for alternatives. And, more are popping up. They may not be perfect but if they work as needed, it’s a loss to Adobe.

I need to view the main Sequence in the Program (or other) monitor while making adjustments to the Nested sequence referenced in the main sequence. When I click on the Nested sequence, the program monitor (naturally) switches back to that view. So I’m adjusting blindly. Seems like a common use case with no apparent solution. Please help!

Hello Team, Watermark on premium images – Even though it shows “You have full permission”, every premium image I use for social media creatives still carries a watermark. AI credits not reflecting correctly – My account shows 0/250 left even though I haven’t used AI features much. Whenever I try AI tools (image generation, insert, etc.), it says I have no credits remaining. I’ve already checked my subscription and account login, but the problem persists. Whenever I open an existing pdf document, by default Acrobat always includes the right-hand side "tools pane", which takes up about 1/3rd of the window pane.  To minimise it, I have to always go to >>View,>>Show/Hide,>>Tools Pane>> then toggle/click.  Or on my laptop shift+Fn Key+F4.How can I change this to not include the Tools Pane in full and just have it in its minimised form, like icons on the right-hand side, which is how it shows when I manually hide it.

I took the portrait of Alvin and Chippy sitting on the sofa. I used AI tools to enhance the image. Chippy's blue eyes are real; they were not enhanced. Would this be considered an AI image or a photograph?

I am trying to delete pages in Acrobat Pro. Everything looks normal, I can go to "Organize Pages" and select the thumbnail of the page I want to delete. Pop-up says "Are you sure you want to delete the page from the document?" Click ok and nothing happens. There are no error messages, it just doesn't delete the page. I have also tried the trash icon at the top of the page and right clicking on the page to select "Delete Page" and get the same result. I have tried multiple different documents. I have also tried saving a copy to my desktop instead of opening from the server. There are no security issues, all "Document Restrictions Summary" items are set to "Allowed". Also, I am able to insert pages and edit the document, just won't delete pages.

Hello. I select a group of photos I've scanned - go to: Metadata / Edit capture time - I change the date ('Adjust to a specific date and time' is chosen under 'Type of adjustment') click change, but only some change to that new date. I think the ones that aren't changing are from a previous scan. I'm sure I haven't had this problem before. 

Can anyone explain to me why Adobe Photoshop Express was suddenly installed on my machine? installed the newest windows update and after turning on  it installed and this was without my prompt or permission. I saw PSExpressBroker.exe and PSExpressCore.exe running in Task Manager. File Explorer showed many adobe files created at the exact time of the PC boot! I don't use or have Adobe on my PC . Or I didn't. There are no Adobe entries in MS Program and Features, so no entry to uninstall, but plenty of files in Program Files, and a handful in Program Data. I want this off my pc and want to now how as it has been installed without me selecting to install it or asking for my permission. My pc speed has gone through the floor because of all these programs running in the background...

My workplace heavily relies on a plug-in that only works with a 32-bit installation of Acrobat DC.   We have a new workstation that runs 64-bit, and the installation is defaulting to the 64-bit version instead of giving an option on whether to install 32-bit or 64-bit. I can't find any options for this, or any information on this elsewhere.   How can I choose 32-bit when installing Acrobat DC in 2022?

I’ve paid for Creative Cloud in advance for a year, checked for updates after a month away from my Mac and everything needs updating, it’s glacially slow, so far 5 hours to update 5 apps, another 8 to go, this is very poor service for the price I’m charged!At this pathetic speed I will have wasted a complete day and evening while Adobe count their cash! I’m on a MacBook Pro M4 pro max - Tahoe 26.4.1 128mb ram 4tb ssd hd, so hardware is not the issue, my internet speed is excellent. The only possibility is that Adobe either haven’t been vigilantly checking their service speed or they are delierately throttling back to 1980 speeds?  Not good value for money!!

I have a scanned document, a simple list of text. It's crooked, and I want to straighten it.I know that the 'enhance PDF' will produce a list of options, one of which is 'deskew.' I've done that. It didn't help; the document is still crooked. Am I missing something? I just want to rotate the whole image by a small amount; I don't really care if it's automatic or I have to do it. Acrobat Pro DC for Mac, Yosemite 10.10.5. The scan was with a cheap HP all-in-one, if that matters, but it shouldn't.Thanks,/s/ Rankin Johnson IVrankin@briefwright.com

I am hoping someone might have suggestions or be able to assist.  I was given this file that has been outlined and I am not able to identify the fonts because I don't have them on my computer.  Because they are outlined, the font finders aren't able to recognize.   I have tried importing to photoshop and using the find font but again I can't because the fonts aren't on my computer.  Anyone have any suggestions or know what these fonts might be?  Much appreciated!  

Every file get kind of 30% opacity but opacity, type of layer and fill has normal 100% values, even when you export the file in jpg looks all right, but while you are working it looks so bad, I´ll share you some screenshots. Does anybody knos how to fix it?

Mac Indesign 21.4.1 Undo/Redo does not work. Plus stability issues. Never had stability and lagging issues with Indesign until last couple updates. Very frustrating and complicates my workflow. Need to force quite often as well. Bad update. I am thinking about reinstalling earlier versions.

PS 27.8.0An error message pops immediately upon choosing the local device option for Remove Tool processing.GPU has 12 (just under 12) of ram on the card which is higher than listed requirements for this.Checked sys info and PS sees the GPU’s ram so I’m not sure where the disconnect is in the ram check sparking this error.  Attached. screenshot showing error message and portion of sys info scrolled to gpu data seen. 

I’ve been having major issues with InDesign locking up ever since this update. It doesn’t crash so it doesn’t send a report either. At least two times every day, I need to either force quit the app or restart. It is very frustrating!

When filling in the PDF form fields (of the PDF fillable form that I created), the text duplicates into every other field in the PDF, regardless of which box you type into. Help?
