Solved

A too large number of files imported into LRc are grey-ed out with the message that preview could not be created .A significant number of them are of images of documents.  So, I considered that as a source of the problem, but I have plenty of other documents imported into LR and the preveiw process worked as advertised.I tried importing just the problem images (the previous import were part of a bunch of images importedat the sae time. Still could not get previews.  I tried forcing the ffiles to convert using "Build Previews"  No luck there. Could not find a solution in the posts. I did not start deleting catalogs and then re-importing the files as someone on another post suggested (!?)  Do you have anything to suggest I should consider doing to correct this?I am running an Apple M3 with whatever is the latest and greatest OS.  All images are Tiff. Thanks in advance for any help you can spare.

Since a few weeks, my Lightroom Classic (15.3.1 release on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) gets stuck or stops responding on simple tasks like:Building standard or 1:1 previews (it gets stuck on ‘Building previews: 3 of …’ but never actually creates one preview) Photo Merge (HDR, Panorama or HDR-Panorama, here the cursor immediately starts spinning and the merge preview does not even pop up) Importing (I can select a source (for example an SD card) but it gets stuck on Checking for duplicates, even when I turn off 'Don't import suspected duplicates’) Exporting (in export I can select all the settings and hit Export but the progress bar remains stuck at zero.I have to use Force Quit to quit Lightroom when it’s not responding. This happens 9 out of 10 times I open up Lightroom, the occasional 1 time everything works fine and I can go on for hours merging huge panoramas or building previews of 100s of photos without problems. But whenever I close and reopen Lightroom the next time it doesn’t work anym

I am trying to get Adobe reader 32-bit installed on an ARM laptop but am continually running into errors. When attempting the online installer, Reader_en_install.exe, I will get an error message that a newer version is already installed. When attempting the offline installer, AcroRdrDC2600221901_en_US.exe, I am getting a message that the application cannot be installed on my operating system. The errors persist after a full reset of Windows and attempting the install as the very first step after completing the initial out of box setup. When reviewing the install log, the very first line states This application cannot be installed on this operating system (Windows 8.1 64-bit). Setup will now terminate. Please refer to the minimum system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_system_reqs. The laptop is on Windows 11 24H2 and all reg keys, cmd commands and PowerShell commands report this. I was able to find an installer for a version of Reader a few years old and successfully inst

Hello,This latest version of Illustrator has some issues regarding the scaling. I usually work with 72 ppi; however it opens on default to this expanded size. Even when I toggle the option to “Display Print Size at 100% Zoom” it doesn’t really seem to make much difference. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hi, I appears that the Adobe software saves its preferences in my 'This PC > Documents > Adobe' folder. I'd like to change this to another folder on my root drive for all the software (Windows 10).How would I do that? I looked at the Adobe CC App Manager but it doesn't appear to be there.Any help is appreciated.

How can Adobe combine my Lightroom redemption codes into ONE subscription?I have been trying to resolve an issue with several Lightroom 2 TB redemption codes through Adobe Support since July 2026. Despite multiple support cases and escalations, there is still no working solution. The problem itself is actually quite simple:I had an older Lightroom 2 TB redemption code, which I redeemed first. This activated a Lightroom subscription.I then purchased two additional Lightroom 2 TB redemption codes. Naturally, I expected these codes to extend the duration of my existing Lightroom subscription.Instead, the two new codes created a second, separate Lightroom subscription with a two-year term.So I now have two Lightroom 2 TB subscriptions running in parallel, even though all I wanted to do was extend the duration of my existing subscription. My specific question to the community, and especially to Adobe, is:How can the subscription periods from the two newer redemption codes be combined with the

Hi, I need an Adobe Staff member to manually cancel my Acrobat Pro free trial immediately. My trial is expiring, but when I log into the Adobe Account Portal under "Plans and payment," the dashboard is bugged. It only says "access your apps and services" and completely lacks the "Manage Plan" or cancellation buttons.I have already tried:Logging in via an incognito window. Switching to a completely different web browser. Accessing the portal via a mobile browser. Using the Virtual Assistant Chat (which automatically times out and closes the session before and after linking me to a live representative saying "conversation has ended" before connecting) + a VAC to give me a cancelation link which when clicked on says “We are unable to process your request” Since the user interface is completely broken on Adobe's end and the chat system is failing, I cannot cancel this online. Please have an employee review my account backend and cancel this trial before I am wrongfully billed. Thank you.

I cancelled my plan 2 days ago and received a cancellation confirmation (Attached). Today I was issued an invoice [invoice number: 3597366913] for 16.4 USD (Attached). I Checked my account and it shows no active plans, and there is no option to manage or cancel anything. Why is this happening and how can I refund my money and ensure this NEVER happens again?

I am using Magic School AI.  I subscribed to it because it has an image generator through Adobe express.  However,  It does not work.  It says that generative AI feature is not available in my account.  I was on chat with an online assistant for more than an hour but it did not work at all.  I went through the instructions on pop up blockers but it did not work.  Anyone who can help, please?

Say I have a 100 circles in different sizes, and I want illustrator to organize them for me, instead of moving them one by one. Does anyone know a way (script maybe?) to organize them so they are spreaded on the sheet with a defined gap inbetween them, so they dont overlap? Thanks:)

Hi,I'm unable to authorize my computer in Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.I can successfully log into my Adobe account on the Adobe website using my email address and password, but when I enter the exact same credentials in ADE (eBook Vendor: Adobe ID) to authorize my computer, I always get the error:"Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again."Here's what I've already tried:Reset my Adobe password twice. Verified that I can log into my Adobe account in a web browser with the same email and password. Confirmed that I'm using Adobe ID (not anonymous authorization). Two-factor authentication is disabled. I'm using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.Despite all of this, ADE still refuses to authorize my computer.Has anyone experienced this or found a solution? Thanks!

I have installed acrobat 3 times in a day and initially all my files will be open and now it doesn’t work at allit is soo frustrating

Hello! Hoping someone can help as this is frustrating and I can't for the life of me get any answer from anywhere that does not involve the bounding box. I am unable to resize objects and text in illustrator despite the anchor points being visible and the bounding box being turned on. This normally happens by accidentally hitting an unknown hotkey (Not sure which one...). My mouse has a different icon on it when this happens that I do not recognize (photo below). Program version: 2018 CC Illustrator (Newest Update as of May 31, 2018) Please help... uninstalling does not work and this is really slowing down my workflow.

I am working on a Mac Pro 2019 running Tahoe 26.7.1. I use PS 27.10.0 and LrC 15.6. Until recently, I had no trouble organizing my photos in LrC, making preliminary adjustments, and then taking them into PS for more precise adjustments. Now, if I make any adjustments to a DNG file imported into an LrC catalog, the “Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2026” command opens PS but somehow does not transfer the picture; i.e., it doesn’t show, and I can’t work on it in PS. Oddly, if I do the same with an unedited file, it will appear in PS.What is going on here?I tried throwing out the old versions of PS and LrC and rebooting the computer, but nothing helped. My workflow has been hit where it hurts, and if this issue can’t be resolved (my online research shows this problem has been known for quite some time), I’ll be forced to redesign my entire editing setup, including how I organize my photos. I’m sure you understand that I am very reluctant to take on that task. But Adobe is starting to look less and

Repeatedly for numerous people in our firm, their signature in the Fill & Sign tool disappears without them removing it. Thankfully, it is saved as a png that can be simply readded, but this has happened over 5 times to one user in the past week. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do?
