Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to do this?I want to drag a bunch of .ai files into an open AI file. So far so good. As you all knowm they come in as linked items.I would then like to embed those links BUT have the "object" retain that linked file name. Right now, once you embed, it just becomes a "group".I would want them to end up like this. I have around 250 files that all need updates but batch actions can't do what I need but if I had them all in one file, I could easily make the adjustments then create artboards for each item (which retains the objest name) and export them. That way all the files are already names accordingly.

Hello,    I have an issue with the text boxes on the bottom of my margin. My grids are at 13 pt leading and looks great. This issue is at the bottom of the margin when my text box snaps to it the copy does not line up across. I have to pull my text box down for the text to show. How do I fix this issue? 2 images here, 1 is a full view and the other is close up. Thanks in advance. See attached.

The only text option I've been able to find is the "Title" text block, it seems there's no other options beyond that. That's shockingly basic, so I feel like maybe I'm missing something? I tried to research, but all my findings imply that even though it's been an ongoing complaint and shortcoming since the get-go ( https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/916423-premiere-rush/suggestions/35747449-add-text-text-box ), "Title" blocks are still the only text option (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-rush-discussions/adding-text/m-p/12631682#M12275 )...? Having said that, I haven't actually found anywhere confirming that is the case, so just want to ask it clearly: 1. Are "Title" blocks the only way of adding text to a video? 2. If the answer above is yes, is there any talk to make updates in the foreseeable future (within the next 6 months)? 3. If the answer above is no (please be the case!), then... how do I go about getting ju

Hi,I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why Lightroom Classic (14.3.1) doesnt seem to use the performance cores of my m4max macbook pro AT ALL during export? it's slowly chugging along on the 4 efficiency cores, while the real workhorses sit idle. The Gpu is not maxed out either, nor is the Ram.  I found many sources stating this behavior on the m4 macbook air, but couldn't really find sources about the macbook pro and find this really odd. Anybody else noticed this?

So I had several videos I have created in Adobe Spark the past few years while working on my Master's Degree. Trying to put together my portfolio, when I discovered to my horror that ALL of my past projects from Adobe Spark have disappeared and I can't find them with this new Creative Cloud Express.  How can I get these back?!

I just bought a base model surface laptop 7 and I'm having trouble understanding what's going on when I switch color profiles. I'm using a display p3 tagged image from a wide gamut test website and viewing it in Microsoft photo viewer and photoshop simultaneously. The laptop has two individually calibrated color profiles--vivid and srgb. When set to vivid, the image looks as follows with a vibrant red around the w in both programs: when set to srgb, the image in photo viewer demonstrates what I think should be the expected behavior and shows a uniform, less vibrant red with no w while photoshop shows a less vibrant red background and an even less vibrant w still apparent (incidentally this is how it behaves in chrome as well): I'm trying to understand what's going on and how to fix it if it needs fixing.Srgb tagged images look the same between the two programs in vivid mode but photoshop displays them with washed out colors when in srgb mode while photo viewer still shows the same imag

Hi Team, I preparing to add a custom 3D logo that i recently created to a Stock Adobe background. Do you have any tips, tricks, or reference material you would recommend as i embark on this task?

When I create a project, it works fine and runs smoothly. However, I noticed that when the media intelligence analysis completes its analysis, it suddenly freezes and lags the entire application to the point of being unusable. I have disabled it, and everything seems to be working. It appears to be affecting not only the latest update but also the previous 25.0 updates. My PC System:Windows 11CPU: Intel 12th gen I9-12900kGPU: Asus 4070 Super Ram: 32 GB DDR5storage: 2 TB NVMe for Premiere Pro and 2 TB SSD for video storage.

Hello, I have a document where I have blocks of text that are supposed to become tables.I have tabs (\t) to separate between colums and newline (\r) to separate between rows. For the moment, I to to go through the document manually, select the text blocks and convert them to tables. All the lines of text that are supposed to become tables have the paragraph tag "Body-for-Table".In between there are other parts of text, such as headings, sub-headnings and so on. The number of lines in each block of "Body-for-Table" can vary from one to 20 or so. Is it possible to make a javascript that goes through the document and converts each text block "Body-for-Table" to a table? My Table Style is called "Table-pratiqué-etc". Best regards from Geir

Hi all, I'm hoping I could get some assistance with a task I want to accomplish.  I have a table with values inserted at each cell. I'd like to fill the remaining space in each cell with leader dots. I know how to do this in the GUI, but I need a script that can do this as well.    Two issues I'm having: - I'm finding it difficult to determine the space left over for the leader dots to fill. - I'm having trouble finding a way to directly insert leader dots with a script. Maybe I have to insert a placeholder and convert with some GREP command?   Thanks in advance!   <Title renamed by moderator>

I am a full-on CC subscriber; not in trial mode.  I'm using Photoshop 19 (in the version of CC that updated in November 2017).  Every time I hover my mouse over a tool that I haven't used yet, a gigantic video tutorial popup pops up that shows me how to use the tool.  I've been using Photoshop since version 2.0, before there were layers; I know my way around the toolbar. How do I disable this "feature?"While I'm at it, there was some other video popup that tried to get me to learn how to place an image on an object in Dimension.  If I'm interested in using Dimension, I'll use it; I don't need you taking up my screen and brain space pointing it out.  How do I disable this "feature," as well? Thanks.

Hi everyone,I have hundreds of SuperPaint files created in the late 1990s and early 2000s that were just recovered off an old MacMini. I also have SuperPaint diskettes. The Mac mini is damaged and may not be repairable. That being said, I am trying to find a way to get them into a current program, like Photoshop. My last resort is to locate an older Mini with MacOS 10.4, a compatible diskette drive, and install SuperPaint. Then I would open up and save every file as a PICT file. I think Photoshop can still open those up.If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear. And if I get a solution, I will post it because there have to be many more SuperPaint enthusiasts who sadly miss their no longer compatible files. In fact, since SuperPaint was the next generation after the famous MacPaint, I think this story is historically significant. I even wonder if the Computer History Museum in Mountain View collects experts who know about these older, historically important software programs. I had a

Background of grass, mountains with clouds moving - I duplicated the original layer, masked the clouds, repositioned the mask to cover the grass and the mountains. The purpose is that the entire screen will be filled with clouds. Now I want to create a seamless transition between the original clouds and the masked clouds, like in photoshop where you have a black and white brush with low opacity so you can blur out the harsh lines. Can anybody please help me?

(talking about when you have audio seperate from the video) The video clips are like, linked to the audio so when you shorten the length of or delete a clip, for example, your audio will also get cut or deleted. This makes it very irritating to edit the length of clips and it would be really great if it was made so you can edit video clips lengths without messing up your audio, or at the very least have "linking" your audio to video clips be an optional toggle (if such an option already exists and I am simply unaware of it, please let me know!)

Dear InDesign users, I am working on an interactive PDF form in the current InDesign version CC 2020 with hundreds of checkboxes on one page. These are created within several tables. InDesign currently does not provide a comfortable automatism for determining the tab order, I have done this in painstaking work via Object > Interactive > Set tab order... Now the client wishes a small adjustment to the design and the tables with the checkboxes have to be moved within the layout. Unfortunately, InDesign destroys the determined tab order:- When moving the tables numerically via the control palette- When moving manually by mouse or by the arrows on the keyboard - Even when just grouping the text frames with the tables Because the checkboxes are placed within tables, the tab order cannot be created using the Articles Panel. Does anyone know a solution to the problem? Are there any scripts or plugins that allow you to change the tab order more comfortable? Is

I’m constantly getting the error “Unsupported media type. Media could not be imported” when trying to upload videos in the Adobe Rush app on my iPhone – and it’s extremely frustrating. I’ve already switched the Camera settings to “Most Compatible” and I’m recording videos in 720p at 30 fps, but the problem persists. Both iOS and the Adobe app are fully up to date, so it’s not a versioning issue either. Also, I find the usability of Adobe Rush on iPhone quite poor: for example, I can now only save files locally – there’s no longer an option to continue editing on the desktop version, which defeats the whole purpose of a cross-device workflow. What settings do I need to change to make video import actually work? And more importantly: Is there a better alternative mid-term – like Canva, for instance?

I am running Windows 10 and am considering purchasing a large UHD (4K) monitor, such as the NEC PA322 UHD.  The smallest I would consider would be a 27 inch monitor.  Do you anticipate that I would encounter any scaling problems running Photoshop CS6 with either of these monitors? My computer is a Dell XPS 8700 desktop with an i7 processor, and a AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics card. It's clear that people who are using small laptops with UHD monitors have encountered scaling problems with Photoshop. Does anyone anticipate encountering scaling issues with larger monitors. I see that some individuals have found slow performance when using a MAC in conjunction with the PA322 UHD. Does anyone have experience using either a 27 or 32 inch UHD monitor with a PC in Photoshop? Thank you for your help.Jack McEwan

Does anyone know how to create a keyable (vector?) motion waveform for use in Adobe Premiere? I was wondering if there is a template. I'd like it to be the actual wave form of the audio recording that's playing under it. Basically, I'm trying to create a video where I layer the moving waveform on top of an image as it moves to the audio we're hearing.  Thanks for your help on this!
