Solved

Hey everybody, So ive got a lot of photos of people standing in the same position but they shift slightly between photos since i was adjusting my stance a bit. I want to edit one photo and also apply a subject-mask and copy all that to the next of the same people and just move the mask a tiny bit over, but i cannot move the mask! I see the mask "pin" (the little people icon) but cannot click it and move it over a few millimeters. How do i move the mask around like usual with other masks? Subject masks cannot be moved using the mask's pin? Re-creating the mask and redoing all its edits each time is not an option as it is too slow and costing too much money. Thank you for any info or the "must be super obvious right in front of me" setting to allow it to move.

To those who have the Adobe CC. Throughout the last several years I have heard in the industry, editors pass on their 'bragging rights' to the amount of cuts they have made in their final project. Thrilled, I wasn't quite sure how to do this in Premiere. Count my cuts/edits until I tested out a theory this morning. I tested it out on a few edits and it seems to work. Please, anyone correct me if I'm wrong on this. I dont suposse this would include nested sequences or linked comps from adobe after effects. Export your sequence to a Final Cut Pro XML file.Open in Adobe Dreamweaver. Automatically Dreamweaver groups the starting and ending tags in the file. I easily saw how the XML file was composed into groups. I collapsed everything until the <track...> and then it listed several point blank <clipitem...>. This would be the clips in the sequence. Now all that you need to do is cound inbetween the line numbers for "<clipitem" within Dreamweaver

Hi - I can no longer transfer images from Lightroom to Photoshop. It says 'disk error'.I doubt it is the scratch disk as the scratch disk on my Mac says there is 500 plus GB of space.Although my LR catalogue is on my Mac, I have recently moved the original RAW files off my computer on to an external drive. This transtition has been fine when using LR.Do you think this has anything to do with it??Thanks in advance.

I have a design with many boxes that have points and edges intersecting, one on top of the other. I want to be able to box-select points and move them without selecting any lines.  If I try to click-select, I can't select two points that are stacked one on top of the other, and if I box-select, I get the edges/lines and can't move the points without moving the edges as well.  Is there any modifier key or anything to disable selecting of lines and be able to only select points? Here are images showing the two points selected to move, and what happens if they're moved up. The lines come along. It seems there must be a way. Thank you!

My audio is slightly out of sync, and when I try to adjust it, it snaps back to align with the video, overshooting the slight adjustment. I've unlinked the video and audio, and patching should be off. What am I missing?

Feature request:It would be really useful to be able to remove a hyperlink from text by simply right clicking the text and selecting Hyperlink/Remove hyperlink. For example, I can do it in this editor right here, by hovering over text containing a link and clicking "unlink". Easy as anything. To do this in indesign, I need to KNOW to go to the interactive elements menu, find the specific instance of the hyperlink in this menu (which could contain hundereds of links), remove the specific instance of this hyperlink from that menu, just hoping I've selected the correct one and not deleted a key link from miles away in the document... It's a bizzaire system. If I can add a hyperlink using a right click, and edit a hyperlink using a right click, surely I should be able to remove one too?  NB: I know how to remove hyperlinks, this is a UI request for a more conventional way of doing so. Feel free to explain why this doesn't exist, but don't tell me it is easier t

Hello!I'm new to AI.I have an AI file created by a graphic designer that I want to  use one object from.  The file has about 4+ objects.  How can I pull from this file just the one object (shape) that I want?Thank you!

I have a Cross Dissolve at the end of a clip and one at the end of the previous clip but only one is working.I tried several transitions at this location and none of them seem to be working.  I have transitions between other clips in this sequence and they are working, so what's going here?

I had found a Tips YouTube Movie that showed a "hidden" way of being able to apply this button to any selection of photos rather than just one at a time. This worked brilliantly for me and saved hours of time as once I had set it once it remained active every time I restarted Lightrooom. Unfortunatley it has reverted to single photos only and I cannot remember how to reset it and I cannot find the YouTube Movie either. Can anyone help me please?

All,This shouldn't be this hard, but maybe I'm oversimplifying things...I am creating a form; in this form, I'd like the end-user to select(using the ctrl key-like "normal") multiple options. For example, if you're choices in the form are: Apples, Oranges, Pears, I'd like the end-user to be able to select any one or multiple of those options. Apples, pears or Oranges, Apples, etc.  How do I do this?If I need a javascript to do this, Adobe is really missing the point of ease of use. Thanks!...

Last week Adobe asked me if I would recommend their products to friends. My answer was highly unlikely because of the constant change of how features work and where to find them. I've been using Photoshop for over 30 years. Today, it's making me furious again. On a deadline and suddenly ALL alignment is grayed out. Whatever layer I select, I cannot center it or align it with other layers. It happened after I did align something, did a few other things and whoops, feature is gone. I even started a new project, put a text on screen and yep, all alignment grayed out. Restarted Photoshop (2025 by the way, but also in 2024), to no avail. You can't make this up. So there you have it. I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me.

Just wondering if anyone has a quick solution to this. I have 550 unique pages in InDesign and all 550 pages share the same common back, 1100 pages all up. I’ve created a master/ Parent page for the Common Back so it can be placed into the document without any further work to be done to it. My printer has requested that he wants the front and the back in a sequence ie Front unique page on page 1 and then on page 2 the Common Back, then Unique page on page 3 and then the Common Back on page 4 and so on....My question is is there a quick way of applying the common Back page without having to do all 550 pages individually? See exapmle belowIf anyone can help soon it would be much appriciated.thanksAngelos

Hello,I used a text preset and would like to use the same preset for another project.  How can I tell which one I used? Thank you!Holly

I am making a frame by frame animation which needs to be 12fps. In preferences, I set the still image default duration as 2 frames. Then I set up the sequence as the Digital SLR 1080p 24fps setting. I then drop in my frames which auto sets to 2 frames per image.   The timebase for this preset is actually 23.976. When I go to sequence settings and change the timebase to 24fps, the frames that I drop in are no longer auto set to 2 frames as the still image default duration, they are put into the timeline as 1 frame. I can't seem to find a way around this - the default in preferences is still set to 2 frames but it always auto sets to 1 frame.   Why does the still image default duration not work when I change from 23.976 to 24fps?

In Windows InDesign v19 I map styles to tags, apply the artifact tag to selected Paragraph Styles, export to PDF, use Read Out Loud in Acrobat, and as intended Acrobat does not read the artifact tagged text. I next apply the artifact tag to a selected Character Style, export to PDF, and Acrobat DOES read the artifact tagged text. If I right click to edit a Paragraph Style, choose Export Tagging, there are EPUB and HTML options and PDF options. If I right click to edit the Character Style, choose Export Tagging, there are EPUB and HTML options but no PDF options.  How can I map a Character Style to the Artifact tag, export to PDF, and have Acrobat recognize the Artifact tag and not read the artifact tagged text out loud. Thank you. - Bll

Recently updated to mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2 and started having problems importing photos from my iPhone to Liughtroom Classic. It will import some photos, but not all of them. Looked through the some of the old community posts for suggestions, but none of the previous advice seems to help...

I recently lost the ability to drag & drop png or jpg files into Illustrator (v28.3) from Photoshop (25.5.1). I can Place those same files but not drag & drop.  Any suggestions?

Hi there, I see weird lines around white objects that drive me crazy and I am wondering if this is a bug. Is anyone seeing similar things? I am working currently on updating a museum map. Various exhibition rooms have various colors. Walls are compound paths that are filled white. The white compound path sits on top of the filled-in rooms and hallways and stroke setting is transparent/0 width. The original plan is over 10 years old. Just last week, I was working on it and it looked like expected. The map is placed in an Indesign document. Today, I exported a PDF-X4 file for offset printing like I always do. When I checked the PDF, I noticed super thin hairlines around the white compound paths. First, I thouhgt it might be a display error. But when I check the color channels (Acrobat output preview), I can measure them. And when I render the PDF page in Photoshop, it does render these super thin lines. When I zoom in thouh in Acrobat, the lines do not seem to scale. Whatever

Hello I am new to substance painter and I am trying to figure out how to stop the normals of one material that are bleeding through to the other. I have had added a screenshot that hopefully helps show what I am trying to stop.

Hello! I have searched for an answer to this, but been unsuccessful.I am using Photoshop CC 2017. When I try to save a file as a Photoshop PDF (File>Save As), the response I get is as follows:Could not save as “FileName.pdf” because of a disk error.Note: It says DISK error, not program error. I've seen plenty of posts regarding program errors and have tried those solutions in hopes it will help, but has not. This is a NEW error. I have been saving files as PDFs with no issue until two weeks ago. I cannot remember if I have saved files as PDFs since upgrading to Photoshop CC 2017... prior to this, I was using Photoshop CC 2015.5I have done the following to try to solve this issue without success:1. Try different files2. Try saving TO different locations (hard drive, desktop, external hard drive)3. Try saving files FROM different locations4. Ensure there's plenty of room on computer (145 GB avail) & external hard drive (2.85 TB avail)5. Preferences > File Handling > Deselect

I'm beginning an Illustrator CS4 training book that comes with lessons you install on your desktop. The lessons require you to use their files but you are instructed to choose and "Save As" so you will be able to work on them. Each time I attempt to "Save As" a warning message displays telling me I can't save the illustration because I don't have enough access privileges!!!Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? After spending a lot of money on the program plus the book I should have all the privileges I want!!
