HiI wrote a script that finds all table headers and collects the page numbers they are on. Then I check the page number of the next paragraph (table) to see if the table spans more than one page. And everything works fine until there is no footnote reference at the end of the paragraph with the table header - then the next paragraph is the first paragraph of the thread. Do you have any ideas on how to solve this problem? var doc = app.activeDocument; var toSearch = app.selection[0].parentStory; var myTxt = app.selection[0].parentStory.paragraphs; function main(){ var tableHeadersPages = findTableHeaders(); alert(tableHeadersPages); } function findTableHeaders(){ // reset szukania app.findChangeGrepOptions = null; app.findChangeTextOptions = null; app.findTextPreferences = app.changeTextPreferences = null; app.findGrepPreferences = app.changeGrepPreferences = null; // nagłówki tabel – numery stron var tableHeadersPages = []; app.findTextP

I have a photo, I'm animating a small push in. I created a few solids for the ground, a building, and some awnings. The projection is working as expected, but it's noticeably softer and more blurry than the guide layer.I've tried everything I could find online: No depth of field on the camera, shadow map set to 4000, no shadow diffusion, and it doesn't seem to matter if the projection material is close to either the light or the projection catcher. Camera settings and projector resolution don't help either.Rick Gerard recommends parallel lights for projections, and while a parallel light does produce a sharper projection, as far as I can tell a parallel light will only project correctly onto a perpendicular surface. My ground plane doesn't receive a projection and my awnings (at a 45 degree angle to the building) are distorted.I looked at the Cinema 4D renderer, but I can't get any projections out of it; materials don't have the "Transmit Shadows" option.I'm afraid my answer is "Yeah,

good morning,I need clarification regarding the resolution of images in a file saved as PDF/X-4:2010I noticed that the resolution of an image present inside the illustrator document is heavily reduced when I choose downsampling, this happens despite the image resolution not reaching the downsampling value. these are the setting:FILENAMESOURCE IMG PIXEL SIZESOURCE IMG DIMENSIONSPDF SETTINGACROBAT INSPECTOR SIZEACROBAT INSPECTOR RESOLUTIONtest risoluzione - 01.pdf24217 x 118116151,12 x 2999,99 @100ppiPDF/X-4:2010 - DOWNSAMPLING 300ppi if image res > 450ppi7266 x 3544 pixel (61511x30000 mm)118 pixel/mmtest risoluzione - 02.pdf24218 x 118116151,12 x 2999,99 @100ppiPDF/X-4:2010 - NO DOWNSAMPLING24217x11811 pixel (61511x30000 mm)393 pixel/mm in both cases the starting image is the same these are the questions:- why does downsampling occur even though the image resolution is less than 300ppi?- why is the image resolution changed even though the image is not modified in any w

I completed one PDF form with the help of a free trial and thought there would be no more, only to find I’ve cancelled my free trial too soon. I’ve been unexpectedly sent another PDF to complete. The free trial would be still valid if I could reactivate it, but instead I've had to pay for a month, yet I still can’t fill in boxes in the PDF I’ve been sent! I thought my problem was something to do with downloading and re-installing the software, but I can’t do any more to this wretched PDF form I’ve been sent that I could when I first saw it! The menu items are all greyed out as unobtainable. I’ve used the Modify, Repair, Remove option, selecting Repair, to no avail! Please can someone help?

Starting masking or adding a mask in LRC 14 works as advertised with a mouse.  With a tablet pen (Wacom), the only way to start a mask or add another is to choose the mask, then click outside the LRC app and the mask shows up.  You have to continue this defocus-refocus maneuver when using a pen for each step of masking.  It began to appear in LRC 13 but is clear in LRC 14. Evaluated by Adobe tech support online after I initiatlly posted this (as a longer post) and has been identified as a definite bug affecting LRC v13 and current v14, referred to development for a fix. Also noticed now that many times when I modify the main image, the Loupe view on the monitor next to it does not reflect the changes...or even flashes black for a few moments.  This is a new phenomenon with the latest release, never seen it happen before.

Hey everyone. I've found some similar threads but no solutions for my issue yet. Well it's actually for a friend, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. She's having issues scaling text within a text box using the cmd + shift shortcut. It resizes the text box, but the text stays the same size. Any suggestions?Cheers

For some reason, I have an untold number of files in my Media Encoder queue.I can't seem to delete them (select all - delete key) and I just keep getting Not Responding.Is there a way to start the program, clean, or force empty the queue?At this point, I can't use Media Encoder at all.JJ

I'm looking and looking for a solution to have variable printing ignore a blank cell in my file.  I've tried adding a space into the cell, as well as every combination of " ", ' ', " [space] –– no luck.  I am now reading that you shouldn't have blank cells but is there truly no workaround? To create the csv I'm working in Google Sheets if that matters – I've also edited the file using text editor so I don't believe it should.

How to operate only on selected cells in a table?Thanks to so many enthusiastic people for the pointers., I've learned that I can operate on the current table accurately.I would also like to know how to operate on the currently selected cell.For example, in the script below, the entire table is now filled with “-” for empty cells.How do I change it to only modify the selected cells.Thank you very much. var cell = app.activeDocument.selection[0].parent; var myTable = cell.parent; for (var i=0; i<myTable.columns.length; i++){ for (var j=0; j<myTable.columns.item(i).cells.length; j++){ if (myTable.columns.item(i).cells.item(j).contents == ""){ myTable.columns.item(i).cells.item(j).contents ="-"; } } }

This is in acrobat pro. When I do a find/search for words in a pdf, the program highlights those words, but the default highlight is extremely difficult to see. How can I change this setting as it's horrible. As you can see from the image it highlights the word "eyes" in purple and it's so hard to see when trying to quickly find all the searched terms, it's hard to see at a glance. It used to be actually highlighted. How can I change/fix this?

What happens to images (e.g. customer images) that are uploaded to Firefly Image-to-Video? Do they end up in the Adobe Stock library, for example?

Please consider supporting the webp format. This would improve the workflow from prototyping to development with image files already optimized for using in production.    <The Title was renamed by moderator>

I need to control component parameters like color temperature by calling the api and trying property.setValue but that doesn't seem to work. The strange thing is that setValue can control the motion position, how should I implement this function? function _getSelectedClip() {var selection = app.project.activeSequence.getSelection();for (var i = 0; i < selection.length; i++) {var clip = selection[i];if (clip.mediaType === "Video") {return clip;}}return null;}var clip = _getSelectedClip();$.writeln(clip.name);// 查找组件function findComponent(clip, matchName) {var components = clip.components;for (var i = 0; i < components.numItems; i++) {if (components[i].matchName === matchName) {return components[i];}}return null;}// 查找属性function findProperty(clip, matchName, propertyIndex) {var component = findComponent(clip, matchName);if (!component) return null;var properties = component.properties,property = properties[propertyIndex];// return component.properties[propertyIndex];return property

My business has 14 Acrobat 10 Pro licenses (and additional older licenses).  When we try to use these licenses, they are rejected because they are listed as being in use.  Only one of the licenses is actually in use; the others were on discarded computers, etc.  I know that version 10 is past EOL, but does anyone know if there is any way to get these license codes reset?

Hello!I've been making small Flash games for a number of years now for my local hospital. Due to the impending demise of Flash, I want to convert my files to HTML5, but I'm not 100% sure how to do it. I have Adobe Flash Professional CS5. I see all kinds of programs and conversion services in my Google searches (Swiffy, Haxe, Shumway, etc), but I'm not sure what to use. I don't want to have to redo my work (as I'm not sure if I still have the files or not). Ideas, insight, and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

The issue I am having is the navigator pane does not allow me to scroll down to the end of the folder structure.The last fully visible folder in the list is "2017_03_04" the next folder is only half visible with many more folders below.I'm convinced there's nothing wrong with the path settings, clicking on "go to folder in library" takes me to the half visible folder in the navigator pane, it doesn't take me to the actual folder.In terms of file/folder location, all pics are stored on a NAS, no duplicate files anywhere else.In terms of folder structure, there is top level folder, with 1400+ sub folders.One of these folders is named "album" which contains two sub folders.One sub folders contains 1000+ subfolders of which 218 folders are visible in the navigator pane. I want to be able to see the remaining 800 odd folders in LR.Any tips please.

Hi Adobe Community!   I'm a software developer, and I need some help to create an application that exports a timeline with multiple clips and markers into Premiere. I could probably use the XML Export / Import Format. But where do I find the documentation / specification to it?   The xmeml standard is the old Apple Final Cut 7 interchange format. All the online Apple documentation on this subject seems to be taken offline, for instance here: https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=97%26section=3 or https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/usermanual/chapter_97_section_3.html   Can anyone provide a copy of the old specification or point me to a place, place where I can find Adobe's specifications? Or maybe name an alternative?   Thanks and best regards, Frank T.

after the install Aero on my mac, unfortunately can't see on installed app in my cloud.

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble saving my artboards as separate ai files. I watched a tutorial on it but when I tried it myself, my Save As window grays out the "Use Artboards" checkbox. It only ungrays for eps or svg files. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Lately Adobe Acrobat is not working on Windows 11. When opening the application it displays a white screen then closes. I have tried running it in compatibility mode as well as running it as an administrator. This did not help. Before this issue, It opened and wanted to run through the tour every time i opened a PDF. Also, every time I open the application I get the Windows pop-up that requests permissions for the app to make changes. This is concerning to me that an established suite of applications from Adobe have so many issues lately.

Illustrator v 29.2. When using the direct selection tool, if I hold down the option and shift key to select other objects I get pink lines popping up all over the screen showing the distance between neighbouring objects. I find them a distraction only and of little value, how do I swith them off?

I just want to know if Thai is supported in generation. But I cannot find  the official list of supported languages anywhere.
