Camera-matching Profiles are applicable to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).Note: Not all cameras will receive camera-matching profiles. This thread is a place to request missing camera-matching profiles for specific models. Please include a complete camera model designation and a list of the specific camera-matching profiles you are requesting in your request. If your camera is already listed in this thread, please reply to the specific camera’s post rather than just posting in-line. Camera-matching profiles are provided for some camera manufacturers and models. As raw support is added for individual camera models, camera-matching profiles for some cameras may be added when raw support is initially offered. Other cameras may see camera-matching profiles added at a later date. It is also possible that a specific camera may see a long delay or perhaps not ever receive a specific camera-matching p
Lens Profiles apply to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web). Lens Profiles are available for a wide array of lenses. Not every lens is currently profiled, and of those profiled, not all are profiled for all camera and file types. For example, there may be a profile for a particular lens and camera mount for the raw file but not for the JPEG. Normally, profiles for JPEG are not supplied unless the camera does not apply a correction (e.g. iPhone, GoPro). A complete list of profiled lenses can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html other helpful info: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support.html#Supported_lenses Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and many newer cameras, including Panasonic and Olympus cameras, and other cameras (including Fuji X, Leica Q, and Nikon Z series)plus many point-and-shoot models from Ca

The August 2026 release of Camera Raw (v18.5) introduces powerful new retouching capabilities, expanded control over AI-powered features, and enhanced Vectorscope. Whether you're refining portraits, managing AI-assisted workflows, or performing precise color grading, this release gives you greater flexibility and control throughout your editing process. What’s NewOne of the headline additions in Camera Raw v18.5 is the new AI-powered Remove Blemishes from a Photo feature, which automatically detects and removes skin blemishes, moles, freckles, and other facial marks. You remain in control with adjustable Amount and Fade sliders, and can fine-tune individual corrections by removing or restoring specific spots as needed. For users who prefer a more traditional editing experience, Camera Raw now lets you manage generative AI features directly from the Preferences dialog. Features such as Generative Remove, Generative Expand, and Distraction People Removal can be enabled or disabled based o
The July 2026 update to Camera Raw (v18.4.1) pairs the creative power of Generative Expand with a new Fullscreen Presentation mode for showcasing your work and a new autofocus points overlay for supported raw files. What’s NewCamera Raw (v18.4.1) gives photographers more creative range and a smoother workflow. Generative Expand is ready whenever you need it, letting you extend your photo's canvas and fill the new areas with content that blends naturally with the original image. The new Full screen presentation mode lets you showcase/ review your photos in a focused manner, move through them with the arrow keys, and right-click to customize the background color and layout. A new autofocus points overlay shows your camera's focus points directly on the photo preview for supported Canon, Nikon, and Sony raw files, so you can check focus at capture time without affecting your edits or the file's metadata. This release also adds support for new lenses.Learn more about the latest updates her
When presented with a New Post screen in the Adobe Community, you are given three options for Conversation Type: Discussion, Bug, and Idea. If you were searching in Discussions, the New Post window will default to Discussions. If you are searching in Bugs, the New Post window will default to Bugs and likewise for Ideas. Many customers instinctually report problems they are experiencing as “Bugs”. It is natural to think that a problem you are having might be a bug. A bug is defined, for our purposes, as “something in the software that is not functioning as it was designed to function”. Interpreting whether a behavior is a bug or not is not always easy, however. Here are some reasons why you might want to consider posting first to Discussions rather than jumping straight to reporting in Bugs: Most items reported as Bugs are not actual bugs. In a typical group of reported bugs, only about 3 out of 25* bugs reported turn out to be actual bugs. Of those, typically 2 ou
Adobe is excited to receive requests for additional features you need to enhance your workflow. What can you do to increase the chances of being heard? Don't use the words "Feature Request" in your post's title. Search for and add to existing feature requests rather than creating duplicates. There is no advantage to creating a second request for any existing feature request. One request per thread! When creating an Idea or Feature Request thread, please keep requests for features to ONE request per thread. Doing this will allow others to vote on a single, specific feature and not confuse Upvotes amongst a list of feature requests. If an Idea thread has multiple requests in it, a moderator may ask you to split the multiple requests up into multiple threads so others can vote. In the event there remain multiple requests on a thread, the first item requested will be the arbiter of where the thread will be cross-referenced or merged. Describe how the featu
Bugs should only be reported for the latest or current version of Camera Raw. If you believe you have a bug it must be verified on the latest version of Camera Raw. New bug reports will not be accepted for older versions of the software. If you believe you have encountered a bug, it is important to first search the existing bugs to see if your issue and a possible solution or workaround have already been reported. If so, please add to that thread. If not, it may be prudent to start a new thread.Greater than 90% of the bugs reported are not actually bugs. Before starting a new thread, please read:P: Do I post in Discussions or Bugs? When logging a new bug report, it's required by the Camera Raw team for the information in the report to include steps to reproduce the bug experience. Once we can reproduce an issue, then we can start to investigate a fix. Bug reports without reproduction steps will be moved to discussions. If, after some troubleshooting, we find
Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting PeopleUnder the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”. This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. Please try it out and let us know what works well, what doesn’t work well, and anything that might improve the experience. Thank you! Peter Baust - Dir, Product Management Posted by Rikk Flohr
SInce last update - I am on CR 17.5.12319 now - the inner circle (feathering amount) has not been visible. I can still adjust the feathering on the slider, but the graphical interpretation has gone. It's on two Windows 11 machines - a laptop and a very well spec. desktop, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.I don't know if this is on purpose, or perhaps somebody has made the same observation.Jan, DK
The reflection removal tool works well until adding denoise filter to the image. the reflection returns to the image once denoise is finished. it does not matter in what order the two tools are added to the image, the reflection returns.
Lightroom is capable to convert JPGs into DNG. The DNG Converter unfortunately currently is not. Please add JPG support to the Adobe DNG Converter. Thank you very much for considering!
Hello Adobe Team,I have found a reproducible issue with Camera Raw 18.x.System configuration:Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Adobe Photoshop 27.8 (official Creative Cloud version) Camera Raw 18.4.1 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (latest Studio and Game Ready drivers tested) Intel Core i7-8700K 32 GB RAMIssue:Simply opening the Presets panel in Camera Raw causes the following error:"The graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error. Due to a run-time error, GPU acceleration has been disabled for the remainder of the session."After this message appears, Camera Raw becomes unstable and continues to display the same error until Photoshop is restarted.Important findings:Camera Raw 17.5 works perfectly on the same computer. Camera Raw 18.0, 18.3, 18.4, and 18.4.1 all reproduce the problem. Lightroom Classic works perfectly with the same RAW files and the same presets. The problem occurs only in Camera Raw Filter inside Photoshop. The error appears simply by opening the Presets panel. In many
One of the most incredible photography editing features I’ve run into is the gamma slider in DxO PhotoLab.Once I realized what it did, translate the entire curve of light seamlessly, without stops and starts like the regular tone curve in Lightroom, the gamma curve quickly became my most critical and helpful adjustment in the most difficult lighting conditions at first, and then in every possible photograph. It’s so much more repeatable, natural-looking, and consistent than anything I have ever been able to do with the tone curve.I considered switching fully to their software, but of course, all the other features I rely on like subject masks, HDR AVIF export, etc., kept me with Lightroom. Please, please, one million, billion times, please add a gamma curve slider in Lightroom, and maybe you can make it even better than any other software’s implementation, as long as the crucial core concept remains the same. Thank you! Sincerely,Dr. Joseph MyersProfessor of Science and Math, and avid p
I frequently open images in Adobe Camera Raw from Adobe Bridge, and most often than not I'd like to return to Bridge without opening Photoshop. Can we have a keyboard shortcut for that? If you use a large display, it is inconvenient to drag your pointer to click such small button, with the risk of pressing cancel and losing your changes. Pressing ENTER is not a solution as it opens Photoshop and that will not commit the changes to the file, what is also undesirable. A simple keyboard shortcut will alleviate this pain and will be very welcomed. Thank you.
I shoot video using the Red Epic camera, which shoots super high resolution video. I often pull high-res photos from the camera and use them in Lightroom. However, I'm hoping to add a feature that supports anamorphic lenses. These lenses shoot natively-stretched pixels. Meaning, the images are stretched vertically 2:1. It's a classic way to shoot movies, and I wish Lightroom supported a way to select the pixel aspect ratio so the images can be viewed undistorted. Currently, I have to stretch them in Photoshop and export. Which is a bummer because the Red Camera's raw files are supported in LR, and I would love to use those files straight from the camera rather than make new ones. Anyone else agree?
J'ai un problème. Toutes les versions depuis Camera RAW 18.4.1 à la dernière échoue de fonctionner sur ma machine. J'ai une RTX 3070 Ventus, Je suis sur Windows 10 22h2 entièrement à jour. J'ai 32 Go de Ram.
When reviewing and culling photos in Adobe Camera Raw, the counter displayed at the top of the interface always shows the original number of loaded images, even after some of them have been marked for deletion. For example:Load 100 images Mark 25 images for deletion The counter still shows 1 of 100This makes it difficult to see how many images will actually remain after the culling process.I would like the item counter to reflect images that have been marked for deletion, or at least display that information in real time. For example:DSC_XXXX.NEF (1 of 100 • 25 marked for deletion)This small UI improvement would make the culling workflow much clearer, especially when reviewing hundreds or thousands of photos. Users could immediately see how many images are pending deletion without having to keep track mentally or wait until the files are actually deleted. The attached screenshot shows the current counter, which could be enhanced to provide this additional information. Thanks!
See also my question in this community. I do usually have my cameras set to always save a raw and a jpeg file, with the same basename. Recent versions of DNG Converter convert both into DNG files. I don’t need dngs of JPEGs and this means I need to take extra steps to avoid that. There should be an option to disable that and I think that not having DNGs of JPEGs should be the default setting.
Since a few versions (18.x) DNG Converter started to not only convert my raw files, but accompanying JPEGs as well. That is not the described and expected behaviour and is somewhat annoying, because now I need to mv my raw files to a separate folder before converting and then move the results back.Since my JPEGs have a different pixel resolution than the raw files, and also from the file size, I can clearly see which DNGs derive from which source. Obviously, the JPEG is converted first and gets the basename from that. Then the raw files is converted—as expected—and gets an additional `_1` added to the basename.I have not found any setting to control this behaviour.I use Olympus cameras.DNG Converter 18.5.0.2673macOS 26.6.1, Apple silicon
Hello Adobe Team,In a series of identical tripod shots, a manually created mask does not synchronize correctly. When I copy the mask to a single image, it is positioned correctly. When I synchronize it to multiple images simultaneously, the mask appears shifted—even though the camera, subject, framing, and image dimensions remain unchanged. Is this a known issue? Thanks - Michael
Adobe Camera Raw 18.5This problem occurs on both Nikon D850 and D500 raw files which have been opened in ACR by right clicking on the files in the Mac finder and selecting open in photoshop. The files have not been previously processed in any way. When I right click on the image in Camera Raw, the option for “Show Autofocus Points” is greyed out and not responsive. I have repeated this with multiple files from both cameras taken using different autofocus modes.I have checked two of the files (one D500, and one D850) in Raw Digger to examine the EXIF data, and both show values for “Focus Position” (0x11 on a D500 file) and “AF Points in Focus” (E9 on the same file), so this metadata information should be available to Camera Raw.Are these cameras supposed to be supported by this feature? Adobe’s documentation says nothing about what cameras are supported.I watched a video today showing someone using this feature (although with a different camera’s files), so I know that I was looking a
Please Bring Back the “Constrain Crop” Option in Adobe Camera RawPlease bring back the “Constrain Crop” option that was available in previous versions of Adobe Camera Raw.This feature automatically adjusted the crop boundary when an image was rotated, preventing empty or transparent areas from appearing around the edges. It was extremely useful for photographers who need to straighten and crop large numbers of images quickly. In the latest version, this option is no longer available, which makes the cropping workflow much slower and less convenient. Users now have to manually adjust the crop after every rotation, even though the previous feature handled this automatically with a single checkbox.Removing this option feels like a significant step backward, especially for professional photographers who process hundreds or thousands of images at a time. Please restore the original “Constrain Crop” checkbox, or provide an equivalent option that users can enable or disable depending on their
I want to convert a folder full of HEIC files to JPEG and I was hoping Bridge could do this as a batch process.I am getting the following error message in Bridge (which spawns Photoshop CC in the process) when I try to open an HEIC image file:"Photoshop Camera Raw does not support HEIC files on windows". The Adobe Help page titled HEIC and HEVC media files support in Lightroom and Camera Raw says:"In the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box, ensure that the JPEG/HEIC field is set to either Automatically open JPEGs and HEICs with settings or Automatically open all supported JPEGs and HEICs. To access Camera Raw Preferences, click the Open Preferences Dialog button in the Camera Raw dialog box." Whether from Bridge or PS I do not see the above text in my Camera Raw Preferences dialog box even though I just updated LR Classic CC, PS CC 2019 and Camera Raw this morning.
