Previously, double-clicking a line of text inside the Text Panel (Captions/Graphics tab) allowed for quick and seamless text editing. In the latest version, the moment I double click a text line inside the Text Panel, the entire sentence completely disappears from the panel. The Impact: The only workaround right now is to manually edit the text directly inside the Program Monitor (Preview window). This slows down my workflow drastically. Furthermore, when editing inside the preview window, standard text editing keyboard shortcuts (like deleting a whole word or a whole line at once) do not work at all. This makes editing captions and titles incredibly slow and nearly impossible for daily professional use. Please look into this and release a hotfix urgently.
Premier Pro - I create a video in OBS Studio, I Remux it into MP4 then import into Adobe premier Pro, as soon as i click on the video or try to edit it in any way the programme shuts down completely. I have tried many different settings on OBS to record in but the same thing happens with each one. My Graphic's card driver is up to date and i have the most up to date version of PP.
I’m getting “Error Code: 1609891835 - Premiere Pro could not start audio playback” on specific timelines after downgrading a project from v26 to v25.5.Here’s what I’ve done so far: Deleted all media cache files from Premiere and ~/Library/Cache Changed playback device to Adobe SRT in Preferences Tried different sequence settings (ProRes, H.264) Reinstalled audio drivers The issue only happens on sequences edited in v26, even after downgrading. Video plays, but audio fails with the error above.System:macOS Sequoia 15.3.2MacBook Pro M3 Max, 48GB RAMPremiere Pro 25.5Any help troubleshooting this would be great—I’m unable to edit my recent work.
Posting after an exhaustive diagnosis session with Process Monitor proof, hoping it reaches Premiere engineering. Every standard fix is ruled out and the root cause is inside Adobe's own code. Issue: I receive error “Invalid type conversion” any time I change a panel’s group settings to stacked. If stacked group panels have been saved as part of a custom workspace layout, some panels display a name of “UXP Panel #” rather than the panel’s name upon opening the project (the panel name does correct itself once actively selected).Steps to Reproduce: Toggle on “Stacked Panel Group” in the panel group settings of any panel to receive error message. Open project with stacked panel groups active to see the “UXP Panel #” name for some panels.Premiere Version: 26.3.0 (Build 93)Operating System: macOS, Tahoe 26.5.1
Hello Adobe Premiere Pro users, I'm trying to make a change to the "Media Cache Management" settings in Premiere Pro's Preferences. The option for "Automatically delete media cache files when cache exeeds:" is currently set to 92 GB. This seems a bit too high for me. I'd like to change this setting. When I change this setting, click Ok, exit Preferences, and then re-open Preferences, the setting has not saved. I have also tried re-starting Premiere Pro, but my new configuration has still not activated. My Premiere Pro app is up to date. Can anyone help? Many thanks,Ciaran
On Version 26.3.0 (Build 93)I had to get a clean install of Premiere at work. When I went to add guides, I could change the color of the guide, but no matter what value I put in position, or change units from pixels to percent, or switch orientation, it would add the guide at position 50, units pixels, vertical. Would love to get that changed.

Bug Report: H.264 Export Fails on All Projects (Selector 9, Error Code 3)SummaryH.264 export fails consistently and immediately (within the first 1-2 seconds of encoding) on every project tested, including a brand-new project with a single random clip and no effects. QuickTime/ProRes export from the identical source completes successfully every time. I'm having problems when dragging items on Premiere Pro. Whether it's the playhead, an item on my timeline or property values, dragging is currently super temperamental and is making it diffcult to edit. I have tried restarting the app, clearing all cache, and restarting my computer but the problem still persists. Here is a screen recording that shows the issue. Can anyone advise please? Pixel aspect ratio gets wrongly interpreted on some footage after 26.2 version, i don’t know what triggers but it happens. Please test it with Pr 2025 and Pr 2026 (after 26.2 because 26.0 doesn’t have this bug.) Pixel aspect ratio gets wrongly interpreted as 1.778 and footage looks streched. Premiere 2025 correctly interprets pixel aspect ratio as 1.0 and footage looks exactly how it’s playing on a media player. If you still want to make sure the problem is not the footage, also play the footage on your media player.I will provide the footage so you can test it yourself.Note: If we transcode footage into a prores 422 or h265. This bug doesn’t occur. So it’d be a good starting point to know it has to do with h264. I hope it helps identifying the bug! also i saw similar posts about pixel aspect ratio bug. Just you know that it’s not only spesific to this footage.System info Application: Premiere v26.3 GPU: RTX 3060 Ti with Nvidia Studio Driver ver. 610.47 OS: Windows v10.0.26200
Hi. I’m totally sure that the native Posterize time effect used to work without any nesting, and I remember it because I used to edit a lot of vintage-stylized videos back in the past and I hate nesting. Today I tried to make an animated mask with a shape, having applied the Wave Warp effect and Posterize time as a second effect and nothing happened - the framerate of the layer though set to 5 was a normal 25 after render. I rechecked it several times and yes, unless you nest anything you wanna posterize the effect won’t work. Why so, when did it start to act like that? It’s quite a problem because I make these cartoony masks for children’s videos and I need them to work inside a graphics layer where this effect just freezes all the animation still (even if you put it a level above and no matter what FX order it is):… and you cannot render and replace the graphics layer - Premiere just doesn’t let you. So the only way to make this effect work is nesting which also causes a lot of inco
Hey everyone, I'm having this issue where I will export my sequence as XML, sync with Syncaila, open the synced project, and copy the sequence into the original one. Premiere duplicates the footage so I have the exact same file two times. is there a way to fix this issue? I have tried the Consolidate Duplicate function without luck. Thanks(title updated by mod)

Lumetri effect on an adjustment layer, converts log to rec709, among a few other color tweaks. It also has a feathered vignette. The combination of all three (adjustment layer + lumetri + vignette via lumetri) produces a line streak glitch. The glitch appears as you adjust the feathering up or down. Screen recording attached. The same process, albeit with lumetri on the clip directly (not on an adjustment layer) fixes the issue. I can reproduce it in a completely new Premiere project with a normal CFR H.264 clip that was exported from Premiere itself. Steps to reproduce Create a new Premiere Pro project. Import a known-good constant-frame-rate H.264 clip. Enable Sapphire Host GPU Integration in Sapphire’s s_config.text file. Apply default S_Shake.Normal. Press Space to begin playback, press Ctrl + S to save, or allow Premiere to refresh the sequence. Expected resultThe clip should continue to display and play normally with Sapphire GPU acceleration enabled.Actual resultThe Program Monitor turns black. Sapphire displays:GPU render failed for S_Shake.Normal. Falling back to CPU.Premie
Issue – Previously had no issues with the drone footage on my sequence that I'm editing, but with the recent updates of 25.6.2 and 25.6.3, all other footage/audio will play normally except for drone footage (MP4 format). While playing the video the drone sections will freeze, become choppy, or not play at all. I tried exporting the video, changing the versions of Premiere, clearing the media cache, and changing out the files and they will not work. Confirmed files are functional as they will play elsewhere. Steps to reproduce – Drone footage on timeline, hit play, video continues progressing but footage does not change until a different camera clip comes on. Expected result – Video should play as normal on the timeline as any other clip on the sequence.Adobe Premiere Pro version – Tried both on 25.6.2 and 25.6.3 - original project was started on 25.6 and was working at that time. Caption encoded file used in a sequence sent to Media Encoder, Encoder present a status warning that "offline media is detected and will be encoded with the offline media graphic" When I create the same file that is not caption encoded and replace the encoded one with it in the sequence, the warning status goes away in Encoder. Description:When importing h.264 mp4 files that are from Xbox game bar capture or other h.264 mp4 files that are imported and the exported through Microsoft Clipchamp, it causes them to be stretched/distorted from square pixels to pixel aspect ratio of 1.778. In both the library and sequence they are distorted and and selecting modify clip> interpret foots shows that it is defaulting to pixel aspect ratio of 1.778. The senquence setting still show the correct resolution/aspect ratio and if you conform to square pixels it will correct the aspect ratio of the clip but the sequence video aspect ratio will still be stretched and since the sequence is still saying the correct aspect ratio one cannot simply correct the sequence ratio. Note this issue is not present in version 25.1.0 (build 73).Setps to reproduce:Launch Adobe Premiere Pro version 26.3.0 (build 93) Import an Xbox Game Bar capture video or Clipchamp exported video into project Drag video clip into sequence Right click on vid
Cannot "Edit Guide" by percentage - Not Working
this has happened to me several times now while using Premiere. I will open a project that I'm working on and one of the files will say its "unsupported" even though it was working fine before. the file has not moved locations. nothing has changed and its not all the files of that type either. it will just be one file that it refuses to load. I dont want to have to go back and fix all the individual clips if I dont have to but I dont know how to fix the issue, thanks.
Premiere 2026.Transmit doesn't launch at startup. You need to open and close the prefs panel to activate it.Reset preferences doesn’t do anything. It is a bug that I reported back to v2025, but the topic doesn’t exist anymore…Thanks.Macbook Pro M1 MaxSequoia 15.7.3
I have run into a continuous issue when using the object mask selection tool. Without fail, it causes my computer to completely freeze after pressing start. This has happened the last 8 times, every single time, and I’ve tried new projects, new videos, etc. so I wanted to mention/report it. As of now I haven’t found a way to use that tool anymore.
