I keep getting the above error code in my team project and can't for the lfie of me figure it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Premiere has been freezing/crashing when I import .xml caption files to edit. I'm using 25.5, using an external SSD, and I'm on a MacBook Pro. There isn't one specific file - I've tried multiple .xml files in multiple projects and it freezes and crashes nearly everytime.
Just thought I'd mention it again because it blows my mind that something would work so well and then just stop. Was it removed? It used to be fantastic for smoothing out time remapping where there is a small ramp say 400-100. or very long ramps.
Hello Adobe Community & Support,I’ve been facing a persistent issue with Adobe Premiere Pro for the past 4 weeks.I’m unable to export any videos — every time I try, an error message appears related to installed codecs or export settings.I’ve searched extensively online and tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but nothing has resolved the problem.Interestingly, both Photoshop and Illustrator run perfectly fine on my system — this issue occurs only in Premiere Pro exports.I’ve attached screenshots showing:The exact error message from Premiere ProMy system specificationsMy graphics driver versionSteps to ReproduceOpen Adobe Premiere ProLoad any video projectAttempt to export (any format, any preset)Receive an error message about missing codecs or export failureExpected ResultVideo should export smoothly as usual.Actual ResultExport fails every time with codec-related or configuration error messages.System InformationOS: Windows 10 Home (Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045)Processor: Intel
Hey guys,As of now i am going insane. About three weeks ago i rendered Videos super fast, but from today on this seemed to have changed and i dont know why.I used to render with the GPU-Accelerator CUDA but now i am forced to render with OpenCL. Every time i try switching from OpenCL to CUDA my preview screen turns black and i cant edit. Even if i try to render with CUDA after cutting with OpenCL the following Error Message occurs: I tried everything, from installing Nvidia CUDA, to switching graphic card driver from game ready to studio, turning stuff on and off again. nothing seems to work. My render time stays super slow. Media Encoder doesnt change that either. And i didnt change my workflow or any other settings. I dont use any third party plugin, i dont use fancy edits. I use my timeline and projects as i did before. It just randomly made my render times super slow and i dont understand, why i cant change the GPU-Accelerator to CUDA, since i have an Nvidida Graphics card.My
Bugrapport voor Adobe Premiere Pro 2025Titel:🔹 "Right-click context menu truncated in floating Timeline panel — options like 'Show Clip Keyframes' are missing"Beschrijving:In Premiere Pro 2025, when the Timeline panel is undocked (floating), right-clicking on a clip displays a truncated context menu. The bottom items — such as “Show Clip Keyframes” — are not shown, and:There is no scroll barThe menu doesn't respond to mouse wheel or arrow keysUsers assume the function is missingHowever, when the panel is docked back into the workspace, the full menu is shown, and missing options reappear — proving it’s a display/positioning issue rather than an actual feature gap.Steps to reproduce:Undock the Timeline panel (float it)Right-click on a video clip in the timelineTry to scroll or access “Show Clip Keyframes”Observe the missing bottom portion of the menuExpected result:The full menu should always be visible, either via dynamic resizing or a scrollable dropdown — even in floating pan
Hi, I am a university educator teaching Premiere Pro for my class and while preparing the material, I encountered this issue.Issue – After trying out generative extend a couple of times, now whenever I try to use this tool, it will just be stuck at 'Preparing 1%' for video. Audio will generate but not video.Steps to reproduce – Click on Generative Extend, then drag either the beginning or end of a clip.Expected result – There should be an extension of the clip generated.Actual result – The clip will be stuck at 'Preparing 1%' no matter how long time pass.Adobe Premiere Pro version – 25.3Operating system – Windows 11 HomeGPU driver version (Windows only) – GeForce RTX 4070 TiComparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs: It is affecting new and old projects and both 25.3 version and the Beta versionI have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro and restarting to no availI am on the '
When I use Render and Replace to reduce the load of heavy effects on my clips in the timeline, I encounter some issues. The transcoding completes without any error messages, but the resulting rendered clip is no longer frame-accurate. The clip "block" remains in the same position, but the footage itself is shifted, sometimes by multiple frames. This occurs when I select "Sequence" as the source. Enabling "Include Handles" doesn't make any difference. When I choose "Individual Clips" as the source, the option to render clips with video effects is greyed out.To be fair, some of my clips are interpreted footage (59.97 fps interpreted as 29.97 fps), but I can't redo my entire timeline edit for that. Nesting is not a solution either, since you can't render and replace a nested clip that has effects applied. My current workaround is to render the entire timeline to a high-quality codec, and then use Scene Edit Detection to automatically slice up the video, but this process is very time-consumi
How do I lock comments from Frame.IO to a sequence, so that they don’t revert to the previously saved version of a sequence on Frame.IO?Frame.IO V4 is overwriting & deleting comments markers on my sequences in Premiere Pro, and I need it to stop making my comments markers revert to the previously saved version on Frame.IOAfter I've imported marker comments about a sequence from Frame.IO, if I open a duplicate of that sequence again while having the Frame.IO comments window open, the comments in my timeline will revert to match the previous version of the edit on Frame.IO that had been uploaded to Frame.IO and had comments added., instead of moving the markers with the current edited version, this is after I've started working with a new version of the sequence. In previous (v3 legacy) version of Frame.IO, once I’d imported markers, they were in the sequence in Premiere pro and would adjust to the edit as normal (ie - I could edit them, and they would move with my edit); but no
It is impossible to copy and paste effects from one clip to another by using keyboard. Windows 11, Premiere Pro 25.5.0.
I'm having frequent CPU spikes (300% and higher) and crashes in v25.4.1 and have tried every troubleshooting method I know, with no success. Showing high CPU usage (132%) even when idle. Giant spikes are happening with single layer of HD H264 footage with no effects. None of this media or sequences ever gave me issues before and there is nothing new to explain what is triggering this. I've tried dumping cache files and prefs, disabling plug-ins and updating Premiere (I'm avoiding 25.5 at this point for various reasons). System drive and media drive both have penty of free space and not reporting any issues.I'm working in a Production project so things are well distributed. I tried starting a new project with minimal media and was still seeing large CPU spikes. No funky iphone (or other) media and I'm crashing even when playing audio only (mono WAV) or single layer HD H264video. When I switch to another app like chrome, I'll come back to a beachball, but it also happ
When editing in Premiere Pro, I noticed that the audio is slightly off when playing back on the timeline. This issue is causing me to edit something with exact precision, only to export it and realize that it is off. I have wasted multiple days trying everything I can to fix it, and this is my last attempt before unsubscribing and reverting to Davinci Resolve, where I did not experience this problem.
Hi!Premiere Pro v25.5Ventura 13.6.63.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9MOGRT designed by a graphic designer (no control)Purpose: Lower Third with Alpha channelParticularity: French accents in the 2 fieldsBecause Media Encoder digest realy badly the .aegraphic (or .mogrt) i took the habit of «Rendering and Replacing…» the .mogrt file after having done a copy on a different video track and masking the backup track. It is usualy going smooth (with the same mogrt 8 times in the timeline). But this particular one cause me problems. Events Error (I don't have access to copy the message in the Events Panel!!!!!) :«Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attemps on file…»If I remove the Speed Duration effect on the .mogrt. The render goes fine.
Hi!Proxy scrubbing performance tends to struggle when there are many short clips on the timeline, each sourced from a unique file. This slowdown wasn’t present in earlier versions (2024 ones, perhaps?).The only workaround I’ve found is to make the original files Offline, so Premiere doesn’t read them (for unknown reason) while displaying the proxies. However, this is a hassle because relinking the original files (to render a high-quality output) usually takes some time.My Premiere version is up to date: 25.2.3.
I have some MP4s from my security system. I was going to use Adobe to edit down the clips, but when I import, there is only a weird "Scratch" sound in the very beginning, then the rest of the clip is silent. This sounds like it should be an easy task for Adobe to handle. Quicktime plays it fine.
Hello all, I'm writing to see if anyone has any ideas for this bug I'm getting when trying to export. See screenshots below. It's an empty window. I'm on the latest version of Premiere. The error also occurrs on my Sonoma Mac, and a Mac running 15.01.
Can’t drag marked clips from Source Monitor in Premiere ProDescription:Until recently, I could set a mark in and mark out in the Source Monitor and then drag the selected portion of the clip directly from the monitor into my timeline (either video, audio, or both). Since yesterday, I can still drag the full clip when no in/out points are set, but as soon as I mark in/out, I can no longer drag the clip from the monitor nothing happens. What still works:I can drag from the “Drag Video Only” and “Drag Audio Only” icons below the Source Monitor.I can insert/overwrite with , and . shortcuts. The issue only occurs when trying to drag video either as video only or audio only in the Source Monitor after setting in/out points.Already tried:Resetting workspaceRe-enabling “Drag Video Only / Audio Only” buttonsResetting preferencesConfirmed track targeting (V1/A1) is enabledTested with different clips and projectsSystem:Windows 11Premiere Pro version: v25.5Expected behavior:Dragging a mar
When I add captions to my video, the caption elements don't line up exactly with the video clips. This creates extra work to change the length of each one.I have created a video to show the problem: https://somup.com/cT6u6r9F52Is this actually a bug or is it meant to be like that? Thanks
I updated Premiere at 25.2 version and I've noticed a that in the source monitor are not showed the in and out points over the audio clip. Is it a bug or can i activate them somehow? I attach an image for greater clarity. Thanks, Vito.
Hey everyone, I’m running into a really weird issue in Premiere Pro and I’ve already tried everything I could think of, but nothing fixes it.I’m editing a project with external audio. There are only two files in use:– one video file (.MP4)– one audio file (.WAV, 48kHz, recorded on an external recorder)I manually synced them in the timeline, made a few cuts, and everything was perfectly in sync. Then I saved and closed the project. When I opened it again later, some audio clips suddenly became completely out of sync. Here’s the strange part: everything plays fine up to 02:22:27 on the timeline. After that point (right after a simple cut), the audio clip suddenly changes to a completely different part of the same source file. The video plays correctly, but the sound doesn’t match — it’s like Premiere is playing a random portion of the WAV file. Here’s what I’ve already tried (none of it worked):Cleared all Media Cache and Cache DatabaseRe-imported the original filesRelinked the audioRe-expo
For the last 3 releases (PR V 25, 25.1, 25.2, and now 25.3), Premiere Pro is constantly crashing every few clicks while working with Sony H.265 footage. This is the same footage from the same camera I've been using for 5 years in Premiere Pro on several hundreds of projects. Crashing while playing/moving the footage in the timeline has only started to happen extremely frequently in the last 6 months of Premiere Pro's releases, so this is definitely a bug. I'm also using the same computer (Mac Studio M1 Ultra with OS 14.7.6). Sometimes I get 10 minutes then it crashes, while other times I get just a minute after relaunching, but it's always when I'm doing something with the footage. It doesn't matter if I only have a few clips or a full timeline; it seems to hate the footage. I'll trim a clip then hit spacebar to play for example, and it'll crash. We shoot in 420-10 bit 4k h.265 because it's very high quality, and efficient. Our computers can play it back flawlessly
Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a serious stability issue with Premiere Pro 25.3 on the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU605CP (running Windows 11, BIOS .302) I just bought. The issue begins whenever I try to resize any panel in the workspace. Right after that, the entire system becomes extremely laggy and unresponsive, followed by a temporary black screen, as if the GPU drivers are resetting. If somehow I manage to close Premiere its process remains active in the background and cannot be terminated via Task Manager unless I force a restart. Before the issue appears, I’ve also noticed that switching between workspaces (e.g., Editing to Color) causes the interface to refresh quite slowly. Panels load in a staggered way, flickering or appearing one after the other, as if the system is struggling to render them in real time.I’ve already run Cinebench and FurMark stress tests without any thermal throttling or major performance issues, and I’m using the laptop in Performance mode through Armoury Crate.
