Hallo,ich kann den Review-Link nicht aktualisieren. Folgendes habe ich schon ausprobiert:Initial Review funktioniert (das erste Erstellen des Links) Update eines bestehenden Reviews schlägt fehl Fehler nur im Gesamtdokument beide Dokumenthälften funktionieren separat GPU-Flackern war vorhanden GPU deaktiviert behebt Flackern, aber nicht Review-Update PDFs ersetzt durch JPGs ohne Effekt neue Rahmen/neue Ebenen ohne Effekt keine Transparenzen/Schatten/Mischmodi Fehler abhängig von Gesamtkombination des DokumentsAdobe Cloud abmelden und neu anmelden, InDesign aktualisieren, InDesign Cache löschen, Adobe CEP Ordner umbenennen, Dokument als idml speichern, neu speichern unter anderem Namen - schon alles probiert. Es ist ein 240-Seiten Dokument basierend auf älteren InDesign Dokumenten, teilweise mit gleichen Texten und Bildern. Seiten wurden dupliziert, verschoben etc. Hat jemand noch Ideen? Wäre extrem wichtig, dass ein und derselbe Link aktualisiert werden kann. Der Kunde arbeitet mehrere

Can I export pages in an InDesign doc as an animated gif.I would like the gif to automatically progress from beginning to end of the book. Almost like an auto progression in a slide show. Thanks

This is driving me mad. I'm unable to drag my InDesign window around my screen or across my dual monitor. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I noticed that the little bar that always lives at the top of the window with the close, maximize, and minimize buttons is GONE. I most likely accidentally altered a setting but now I have no idea how to fix it! It does not have to do with being in Full Screen Mode or my Application Frame not being checked. I have checked both of these things. No other windows or documents are open within InDesign and I have already reset my Workspace multiple times.

I am experiencing an issue where vector artwork (.ai) becomes rasterized when placing an InDesign document into another InDesign document and exporting to PDF. Workflow: An InDesign document contains vector artwork (native vectors and linked AI files with PDF compatibility enabled).This InDesign document is placed into another InDesign document using File → Place.The final document is exported to PDF (PDF/X-4, no transparency flattening intended).  Expected behavior:All vector artwork should remain vector in the exported PDF. When opening the PDF in Illustrator, the artwork should be editable as vectors. Actual behavior:The placed content is rasterized: In InDesign, the placed document already appears pixelated even with Display Performance set to High Quality.After exporting to PDF, opening the file in Illustrator shows the placed artwork as a raster image, not vector data.This indicates the rasterization happens before or during placement/export, not jus

I have a file that's giving me the error "All spreads cannot be hidden" with an option to "unhide spreads" in the open dialog box. This button crashes InDesign everytime. I've tried to recover the file, which leads back to the same error.   I'm on the latest version for Mac: 20.4.1.4

Publish online BUG!------------------------------The newest version of InDesign (21.3) gives bugs in the published online document. Certain buttons aren’t clickable anymore (it can be fixed by changing the layers they’re in, but they have been working perfectly fine for years) + another certain page with buttons completely flips when hovering over buttons - see here: test buurt Tried going back to the previous version of InDesign (21.2), did not help. I used incopy online to share a document for editing of the content. I'm now stuck because although text changes were apparently made by the other party, the linked (in creative cloud) inddl file will not open in InDesign (spinning beachball of death) and opening the link to the file online (incopy online) shows only the first page and non-editable text. Any suggestions how to recover the situation?

Problem:In the MathType application, we are facing font rendering issues with the division symbol (÷). Please refer to the attached screenshot for reference.We have investigated this issue in Adobe InDesign 2026 using the current MathType version 7.1.We observed that when the division symbol is used with the Euclid symbol font, it does not render correctly in certain cases. The symbol appears broken, misaligned, or inconsistent in the output PDF generated from InDesign.However, the same issue is not consistently seen when the division symbol is used along with other mathematical operators or functions such as plus (+), minus (−), or integral (∫). In those cases, the rendering appears correct within the same document.This indicates that the issue is specifically related to the Euclid symbol font handling for the division character in certain contexts within MathType EPS output when processed in InDesign. Ciao a tutti,dopo l’aggiornamento a Adobe InDesign sto riscontrando problemi molto gravi di stabilità e corruzione file su macOS Sequoia 15.7.4.Problemi riscontrati:rallentamenti generali molto evidenti; blocchi durante salvataggio ed esportazione PDF; crash improvvisi con riavvio forzato del programma; perdita di contenuti dopo il riavvio.  Il problema più grave è la corruzione dei file: dopo alcuni crash, alla riapertura del documento spariscono intere grafiche e testi associati a determinati livelli. Inizialmente pensavo a file corrotti isolati, ma il problema si è ripetuto su diversi documenti, anche creati ex novo.In alcuni casi ho dovuto reinserire manualmente un’intera lingua all’interno di cataloghi prodotti di circa 150 pagine in 7 lingue.Il problema avviene sia con file locali sia su cloud/server/NAS.Ho già provato:reset preferenze; downgrade; verifica file. When I need to see the stacking order of objects in a given layer on the Layers panel, I click these little arrows (“disclosure triangles,” according to the docs) to expand the layer. If I want to compare the stacking order of a given layer in two different INDD documents, I’d expect to be able to expand the layer in both documents and control-tab between the two INDDs to compare. However, I find that control-tabbing from document to document refreshes some or all (???) of the exposed tree in the Layers panel, and collapses what I’ve expanded. I’ve seen the same behavior when I’ve been trying to compare bookmarks in two INDDs - leaving the document closes all of the expanded sub-bookmarks. Is this something buggy about my install, or is this typical for v21? I can’t recall ever having encountered this behavior, but it’s not a task that my typical workflow would require me to perform. I’m working on a document with over 500 pages (a few images but not many) and a lot of footnotes, some of them very long. I already have rules added above the first footnote on the page. Now the client wants to add rules above footnotes that are continuing from the previous page too, but Indesign freezes as soon as I switch those on. I’ve tried re-saving the file as IDML and switching to Fast Display, updating Indesign and trying it on a different computer, all in vain. How can I fix this?

I have complicated PDF files/tables in Arabic that need to be edited and brought back into my Indesign layout.  I have tried in Acrobat pro but the flow is wrong.  the edits are appearing left to right not right to left and when I add sentences they are not being inserted in the correct places.I have also tried converting them in InDesign and Illustrator both disastrous results.  I am at a loss, any suggestions?  Thanks you

Hi everyone~It seems there’s a history feature, and I’d like to capture the direction in which I moved the object in the previous step.For example:I just dragged an object, and now I want to know the direction of the movement—whether it was left, right, up, or down.If the object was moved both left and up at the same time, take the direction with the largest movement value.Thank you.

I’ve always wanted to implement quick alignment of objects to guides.But since InDesign doesn’t allow selecting both an object and a guide at the same time, it seems impossible to achieve.Today I just came up with a new approach: have the object align to the nearest guide.There are too many possible alignment directions, so it’s unnecessary. We only need to align the selected object to the nearest guide to the left or right. This requires two separate scripts: one for left alignment and one for top alignment.Consider only the top and left margins.Take top alignment as an example:You can define what constitutes “nearest” by setting a value yourself. For example, the detection range could be set to ±8mm; objects beyond 8mm will not be affected. If necessary, manually drag them within 8mm.(Including the guide lines on the Masterpage.)You might be able to align it even in complex situations by pressing the button repeatedly. 

Please share your recommendation on the most effective way to create a new InDesign file form an Illustrator file. The quality must be good, and they InDesign file will have a long life. We are at the initial design (mostly in Illustrator) with a long way to go before production. This is an environmental graphics project for the USN Seabees, the files are 20 to 30 feet final size. The files are prepared at half size. Thank you!

I’m not referring to vertical justification within table cells, but rather to distributing several table rows evenly from top to bottom of a frame — like vertical justification in text frames. Has anyone found a way to vertically justify multiple table rows in InDesign?

It’s somewhat difficult to tell in the screenshots below but if you compare the skateboarder with the red shirt on the top left in the first photo (in InDesign) you can see his shirt is faded in comparison to the jpeg opened in Photoshop.  The Transperancy Blend Space is set to Document RGB.  What might be the cause of this?  Thanks.    

The Control panel menu (gear), hamburger, and lightning bolt icons are unresponsive. I particularly miss the link to "no break".) I'm using version 20.5 on Windows 11 Pro. I reset preferences and rebooted but that did not help. Thanks...

How do I put a missing space between punctuation and a capital letter? I’ve tried a few GREP codes but they aren’t working. Is there a find and change I can use? Or does anyone have a GREP code that definitely works? Thanks.
