Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

LR 9.3.1 on Mac OS 26.4.1 with an M4 Pro chip and at least 200gb of free memory. so why, after the recent LR update, does it take the $240/yr app 19 minutes to export 16 pictures? it took five minutes to go from “preparing….” to actual exporting. I used to be able to export 30+ pictures in about 30 seconds - pictures i take with a 46MP camera. is it because Lightroom is using almost all of the 24gb of RAM i have? i try this with full graphics acceleration enabled (use GPU for Export) and without (not using GPU for export). it makes no difference. so i ask you, why is my perfectly functional hardware and updated software suddenly incapable of doing anything quickly?

@Sameer K I did the same steps, deleted the library file, uninstalled and reintalled the app, and it’s still the same. Is there any way I can get help on this? I gave the permissions for full disk manually even if the Lightroom (cloud version on Mac) didn’t ask for it. 

Hi!!! Ive been using LR to save and briefly edit videos , little context I edit a photo and just copy the settings to the desired video and recently it hasn't been working. I try to export it in different ways and to different areas of my laptop but doesn't work. This just happened suddenly so I don't know if I pressed something. Any help helps me !!!

The remove function doesnt remove things half the time. Then if it does it leaves a horrible blur or makes things look extra strange.

Lightroom (v8.3) won't let me export files. I'm working out of the local drive and have plenty of space!I get the following error message:"There was a problem with checking how much disk space you have free" Any idea how to resolve this?  Thanks

How has this software gotten worse? In the middle of an edit with clone stamp, it slows down gradually becoming unusable. I have 64 GB of ram and an NVIDIA 3090. 

Hello, i'm trying to apply "lens blur" effect but for some reason it doesn't work.Im'm working in Lightroom 9.0 with format *.NEF, my driver are already updated and i don't know what to do because when i apply this never display any error or something similar. Have someone an idea of what could be??Thanks in advance

When I choose the display option « custom » to organise my photos on my album, it doesn’t do it 

Today I have been able to export hundreds of photos that I have not edited, or are edited without using the Generative Upscale function in Lightroom. I have not been able to export a single generatively upscaled images and have been working on it for five hours. I have restarted my computer, updated Lightroom and restarted lightroom. What do I need to do to export these upscaled images? For reference I am on a 2022 Mac Mini, Lightroom was updated today, I have 220 GB free on my hard drive, and I am connected to the internet. For export settings I am trying to export in JPEG 100% Full size with copyright data (I have tried with metadata with no success). Every time I export it will open the bar for export progress, and nothing will happen, even up to 15 minutes later. For reference, I exported hundreds of photos earlier in less than 5 minutes. Update: I have dropped the quality of any upscaled edit to 30%, resulting in low single digit megabyte files, and I am still not able to get any

Please set the default action to move to the next photo by sliding the mouse wheel down in Develop mode, just like in Library mode. Thanks! 

I’m looking through “all photos” scrolling side to side. Right clicking after selecting single or multiple photos pops up the right-click menu with the option to scroll DOWN to see all options. Why would i do that? That’s the bottom of my screen.Why doesn’t the menu pop UPWARDS and display all options? 

Since last couple of days, Adobe LR is laggy and frequently hangs needing a reboot of the system, seen mostly when using “Remove Tool”. Hasn’t happened before. 

In version 9.3.1 I cannot change the location for originals.

My edit history is intact but the picture is stuck on the first “import”- by clicking the latest edit it updates to that edit - I have 90,000 photos to do this with !

Okay so I know this topic comes every once in a while so here's my take and I hope we can all come together and fix a bit of that problem. Especially when I open the mask tab Lightroom asks a loooot of resources, I can hear my laptop fans going full blast and the mouse input is laggy (and I usually only have up to 5 masks but even just 3 masks is barely usable). But it also happens a lot in the color tab. Performance wise I have put everything on my dedicated GPU (RTX 4070) in the Lr settings in High Performance. Cache is set to 50Go. I shoot with a Lumix S5ii so it's maxed at 24Mp. I just tested changing basic things on a photo and Lr immidiately used 80% of my CPU and 45% of my RAM and made the temperature go up very fast (according to my computer fans) so it looks like the bottle neck is the CPU but I have an Ultra 9 and I can't find any CPU settings in Lr... EDIT: I also have tried turning off HAGS(Hardware accelerated gpu scheduling) and disabling full scr

The sync popup shows the sync being disabled even though I have enough storage leftLightroom is currently unusable for me. It won’t sync files from the cloud locally or local files to the cloud. It’s like if the backend just didn’t exist. I tried fixing this issue by doing the following steps:Delete more photos Delete permanently all photos in the “Deleted” folder Uninstall (removed all settings) and re-install Lightroom Set star rating on the photos that are not settings Edited some photos that are not syncing Edited photos on other devices to force a sync to happen Imported new photos Pause/Un-paused the syncing manuallySyncing in the Creative Cloud app is working fine.

Hi everyone,I’m running into a frustrating issue with Lightroom Mobile on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.While scrolling through the Community tab and opening photos to view them in detail, the app freezes completely after just a few images. The UI becomes unresponsive, and I have to force quit the app to get it working again.System Details:• Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max• OS: iOS 26.5 (Latest)• App Version: Latest update installed• Storage: Plenty of free space available on the deviceSteps already taken:• Cleared app cache.• Paused Cloud sync.• Deleted and reinstalled the app entirely.Despite all this, the freezing continues. Long time LR classic (windows 11 w/ networked 25T NAS) and med term LR cc user (on an iPad when shooting and on road) who has successfully been able to import, visualize, and edit pictures on both platforms using the synched feature and Adobe Cloud Storage. The work flow is 1)import pictures from my Canon camera directly into a new folder in LR classic and onto the 25T NAS with the same folder name for permanent storage with a copy to a 4T external HD (with additional redundancy by weekly automatic upload into the Amazon Glacier S3 Cloud Storage). 2) create a collection (same name) from the new folder  and sync to Adobe Cloud Storage (1T). 3) I edit on any device (windows computer, IPad,iphone, web) and all are synched.  Problem is when I go the other way when I'm on the road shooting and want to edit before i arrive home. Hello I’ve been struggling for months to troubleshoot this issue with lightroom. When I go to use the mask option (the option where you can choose radiant gradient, liner gradient- you can also filter the sky or the person as the main object to edit) Well any time i do this- it distorts my photos to what i assume as negative colors ( green, white, blacks) never really enhancing the subject I want to focus on. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success.Is there anyone out there that has experienced this? It’s incredibly frustrating, so I’m hoping it’s a simple fix. I’ve tried running my issues through chatgpt- tried that troubleshooting to no avail. thank you

When I try to import from the camera SD card, the screen shows the new,photo culling facility, and the screen freezes. Have to press Cont, Alt, Del keys to get out from the frozen LRC .

Hi, I’m having a Lightroom sync problem and I’m hoping someone can help.When I upload photos, they are going into the Sync Issues folder instead of syncing normally. Lightroom seems to be trying to sync, but those photos are getting stuck and not uploading correctly.From the diagnostics, it looks like Lightroom is having trouble recognizing some of the photo records during sync. I’m seeing repeated errors saying that the asset or revision “does not exist,” along with other sync validation errors. When I play a slideshow of my latest album addition to the web, all of the TOPAZ Adjustments are written across the top of each photo. What did I do wrong and how to eliminate

When editing large amounts of photos in local mode, I like to use my arrow keys to switch between photos then increase/decrease exposure to expose correctly. When I switch photos it will use the previous photos settings and if I change it, the previous photo also changes along with the current photo I’m on. Photos with no edits will just assume the edit of the previous image if I am switching photos, not even super quickly. Sometimes the changes I made won’t even save at all and I have to redo it multiple times.I also have the same issue with images rotating. If I’m switching quickly across photos, 2:3 images will suddenly switch to 3:2 and vice versa.This is only after the most recent update. I have reset my lightroom and laptop and have tried a couple different drives.
