Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hello everyone, I've been having a problem recently and I was wondering if someon can help me. I have my photos in a file in my MacBook Pro however I noticed that when my photo is loading it says Lr and then when it's about to open it opens up in Lightroom and I don't know why. The photos are in a raw format but I still don't understand why it keeps on happening. I'm a photographer and I have to give these photos to my clients and I don't want them to have this same issue. I hope someone can help me get the pictures to open and stay in the files area and not open up on Lightroom

I am getting tired of things working in one version, then not working and then working again...I have both the latest versions of LR and PS.I select an image in LR > Edit In Photoshop (command or menu item)The image is open in PS but it doesn't switch over so you don't know if it opened until you manually switch...Its really irritating... Another thing that has happened for a while now is: let's say you have a few images open in PS and you want to close them all. You close it and then LR opens up, so to close all images you have to keep switching back and forth one by one. it's a real pain! It's a waste of time and slows down the workflow.Updates fix one thing and break another one. Why release updates that come with bugs? I wish there was a Beta for LR for once so new improved things can be tried.LR needs a real overhaul. So does PS.  The images don't show up on my laptop.I can access and edit it in my phone but not on my laptop. please help.

When creating a stack of images, Lightroom will create the stack but it will move the stack to the last "image" in the album.  Then you have to painstakingly move the stack back to its original place in the album. When the stack is created, Lightroom should just leave the stack where the original individual images were. Lightroom desktop Mac 8.5.1

Please change Lightroom CC so that it simply opens the photo if it's been through Lightroom previously.Fantastic that you developers use only the Lightroom library to navigate your photo history.  Many other users have their own project-based filesystems in native operating systems like Windows.Many other Lightroom users ... you know, your PAID SUBSCRIBERS ... simply double-click to open a file. It's a fundamental expectation of computers that double-click opens a default application.  For example, Lightroom as default editor of photos.If you double click a photo you've previously edited, then all Lightroom will do is say: Previously Added.  Which is NOT HELPFUL.  Just open the file.Why would a user re-edit a file? To crop differently. To mix the color and light different to request. i am a fan of lightroom, but i am to old and to attached to photoshop, and its making me nuts to not be able to use the standard photoshop tools, like the zoom and the hand to move the thing aroud, or the lasso tool,   its almost as if you over simplified the interface when designing it, and i have no desire to learna  brand new interface all over again or go hunting for standardized tools, can you please show me where those itms are located ?   pretty please with sugar on top,   i do a lot of high detail work, and i love ai add and subrtract tools, but hunting for the tool to grab the picture and move it to the next area, or the magnifying glass to zoom in and out are a pita, even with keyboad short cuts you could simplify this for me,   thanks   Sunshine

I’ve just bought a new laptop specifically to run Lightroom (my old one was painfully slow), but I’m running into an issue during the installation.When I try to use the Lightroom Downloader, I get an error saying there’s not enough space available — even though my new laptop has plenty of free storage. I also tried using an external hard drive with lots of space, but I’m still getting the same error message.I only have basic computer knowledge, so if anyone could walk me through a fix with step-by-step instructions, I’d really appreciate it.Thank you in advance!

I received an email telling me my Pixelis AI Lightroom add on free trial will be expiring soon. I downloaded Lightroom to edit one photo a couple months back, and have no recollection of signing up for a free trial of any kind at the time. I've redownloaded Lightroom and can't find even find anything about Pixelis AI.  The email has come from support@pixelisai.freshdesk.com.  I've forwarded it on to phishing@adobe and I'm waiting to hear back, and couldn't really get anywhere with the chat option. Thanks for any help you may provide!!

Hi, is there a way that I can share a link or an album to my clients without having them create a lightroom account? 

I have had a Photography Plan for several years, but find that I do 90% of my editing on my Android tablet with LR mobile. The full plan doesn't seem to be worth the money any more. If I switch to paying for just the Premium version of LR mobile, will the photos that I have in the cloud still be available? How about the user presets that I have saved?

Hello, I have got an issue. After sharing photos from Lightroom to my clients they are unable to download the images. Before sharing under settings I always enable "allow JPG downloads and export". I am using the latest vesion of Lr on an iMac macOS BIG Sur Version 11.6 Any advice would be very much appriciated. Thanks and regards, Zita

This computer have 12 GB RAM, 2 GB Nvidia 710 and i3- 3.60 G Hz,  runs on SSD and really Good internet.  i've been using lightroom on it since a month, i never faced such issue, yet it was a bit slow, used to stuck for a second  but now its freezing completely even on low sized JPGs . - rest of softwares are working fine. please help i cleared its cache memory within the appcleared computer cache - disk cleanupchecked for updates - already up to date please.... 

I try to sync my raw files with the cloud, but every time I get a message that says "Not Backed Up, Corrupt original". I can open every every file that seems to be corrupt without any problems via Mac Finder and also work with them in Lightroom CC, but it won't sync with the cloud. I already updated Lightroom cc to version 1.2 and I tried to solve it with the known issues https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/known-issues.html#SyncingLightroomphotosI also have done a lot of work on my picture and I don't want to waste that time. Hello, I'm trying to import a preset pack "Full Suite VSCO" (with 7 profiles & presets inside) into Lightroom 8.5.1 desktop. It has a mix of .lrtemplate , .dcp , and .xmp files. I'm using a Macbook Air 15.6.1. I tried importing through File > Import Profiles & Presets, and through Presets bar on the right > 3 dots > Import Presets. I tried importing the whole pack, and just 1 profile/preset alone. Each time it downlods through halfway then gets stuck without any error messages. I could only import the .dcp files on their own, but then the other templates are missing. I rquit and restarted LR a few times. What would you recommend? Thanks!

I love editing on iPad on the go but the sync is terrible. No issues on pc laptop or iPhone but the iPad does not sync up. Force close even uninstalled and has not updated. They need an actual refresh button 

I recently purchased an ASUS PA32UCXR 32” HDR monitor (the one recommended by Greg Benz) to add HDR capability to my photography workflow and skillset. Upon my first dive into the Lr HDR space a couple days ago, I immediately ran into problems. As part of the troubleshooting process, I reached out to Greg Benz. Issue description: Lightroom desktop (8.5.1) running on my Windows PC, the window is on the new 32” display in HDR mode and connected to an NVIDIA Quadro P2000. When the mouse enters into the image portion of the Lr window, the GPU load jumps to ~80%. At that point, any attempt to open or close the album pane on the left, or the edit pane on the right, results in no response. The GPU is still at ~80%. If the mouse exits the Lr window, the GPU drops back to ~0% and the requested action from above takes place. Se ha producido un error inesperado, por lo que la solicitud no se ha podido completar."Estoy con este problema hace tiempo, me gustaría una solución ya que es una herramienta muy útil y necesaria.Gracias 

When I export from Lightroom on Android using a custom filename with sequence the export order appears to be random. I have no control over it. This is different than the iOS version, and different from the desktop Lightroom Classic. I need to be able to control the filename order in my mobile workflows... 

I am enjoying having to look at this annoying red notification icon that I can't turn off because I've used more than 80% of my storage. I have used 16.1GB of 20GB Why does it have to be red? Why does it have to be so prominent? From what I can tell the only way to turn this off is to buy more storage (not happening) or delete photos (which means my storage is effectively 16GB not 20Gb like advertised. Lightroom Android V10.5.3

I've been trying to use Lightroom's subject and background detect feature, but I constantly have been getting an error telling me that they can't be detected. As well as get very noisey images when attempting to denoise.

I want to know how to disable the Histogram from the Lightroom Mobile. Also, I want to know why my RAW files become so grainy or noisy after exporting them. Moreover it shows a grainy image when I try to post them on Instagram Stories or Posts.

Maybe you have an idea for my issue here. I first setup my Library in Lightroom Cloud. When I opened Lightroom Classic for the first time (I worked on a project in Lightroom Cloud and wanted to use a plugin), of course the library was empty. I just clicked "synchronize" and suddenly it started to synchronize all 5000 images. When I tried to stop this, it wouldn't let me, as it already started. So I went into settings and klicked "Delete synchronized data" to stop the process.Unfortunately suddenly my Lightroom Cloud Library was gone. The images and meta data is still there, but my whole structure (with subfolders and smart selections) is gone.Do you know how I can reverse this?
