Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I had LrCC open all day while I was working my other job so everything was all synced and backed up. No importing, no migrating, etc. I re-opened it right before I started editing. Switching between pictures is painfully slow. Editing, I constantly have the spinning wheel of death when trying to adjust any slider. It will say, "Synced and backed up," but then I can't even paste anything without it taking 2 minutes to paste my edits on another photo. It doesn't matter what I do - wait for everything to sync and back up, close and reopen LR, or just edit as things are syncing - it's taking the longest time to edit my photos these days. I've written this entire post and my paste still hasn't posted to my photo. It's now taking me 4x as long to edit a wedding as it normally does and I'm dying over here. I'm noticing that because the syncing is so slow, it will show that an edit has pasted, but then when I go back to the photo later, no edits were pasted and I'm having to start from scratch

Hi! I have both Lightroom Classic and CC/Mobile installed - I do however only use CC/Mobile, never Classic.I noticed now that there's a huge file (300+ Gb) called "Mobile Downloads.lrdata". It eats up all my space, and I wonder if I can erase this without risking any of my photos (that I have in the cloud for Lighroom CC/Mobile). What's the best approach here? Thanks!

LR freeze at ~170 pictures processing. 32 GB memory, ~15GB pagefile. DNGs imported from Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra at 12 MB size. Graphic card NVIDIA 5070 Ti. Task Manager memory peaks at ~95% before freeze.LR CC v8.5.1

Since the last update, Lightroom (cloud version, macOS Sequoia 15.6.1, 16 GB RAM) has become virtually unusable. Noise reduction immediately causes pop-ups that block the entire workflow. Especially with images that have already been noise-reduced, it takes up to a minute for changes to take effect, and Lightroom is completely locked during this time. Copying and pasting edits also causes pop-ups to block the process, instead of running in the background with a progress bar as before. In addition, Lightroom regularly freezes and cannot be opened until the process is terminated manually. This results in massive time losses and severely restricts professional use.I request a quick fix so that denoising and editing copies are performed in the background as before, do not cause blockages, and system crashes are reduced or avoided.

I saw in a video that it exports as a cube, there's a button above the presets, but I don't have that. I have an AMD 8500 processor, so I can't install the latest versions. Maybe it's due to a version difference. I don't know.

For the second time I have experienced that videos have disappeared from an album in Lightroom mobile but pictures stay.   I cannot completely rule out that I have somehow managed to delete them but find that possibility slim as all the photos from the same shooting are still in the album.   can someone offer me a suggestion for this behavior ?   best regards from Lars 🙏   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Despite following the advice to open system preferences and enable full disk access neither programs show up in the automation folder where they apparently need to be to enable this functionality. Are there any workarounds or solutions other than using Lightroom Classic which works perfectly. Many thanks, 

A IA trabalha até bem, porém falta alguma ferramenta em que se pode selecionar a area que vamos retocar ou remover, e um espaço pra poder digitar um prompt de comando pra auxiliar a IA no trabalho que a gente precisa executar. Fora isso ja tem nos ajudado bastante no nosso workflow.

Although lightroom (cloud based) is a great program, it has one massive flaw.  You can't manually save your work! Please add in the basic File -> Save option to save your work.  I spent a ton of time working on edits only to have it crash.  Turns out, when lightroom crashes, none of your work is saved.  There is also no backups folder or way to retrieve something that the cloud had saved.  I understand its supposed to save to the cloud but in almost every situation ive had where the program crashes (which happens alot), it does not save.  Please add in the basic option to save your work.  Please fix this!

got dumped out of Lightroom again, classic failure, lost all of my settings on a complicated edit, super frustrating.  Program was open for about an hour after my edits.   should have been plenty of time for the program to save the edits I had performed.  Version 8.4Can you make it a more stable program that saves edits before crashing?   Doesn't seem like it,  I think I need to start using my Capture 1 software more.Can you please improve the stability of the program and the recovery so that it includes all of the editing before the crash!

When I sync (reset) my Portfolio to match my Lightroom gallery, it updates with my photos but not their edits. I've been using LR mobile on my phone flawlessly for months, even exporting hundreds of photos at once for a certain job. Yesterday during a wedding I was editing and exporting single photos normally with no issues. Suddenly "1 photo failed to export". Retry option gives an instant same error. This is happening on my phone, Xiaomi Note 9 Pro, wich hasn't exported a single photo since then. Tested on a tablet minutes ago and apparently no issues. On my phone I've already tried the following:- cleaning the app cache- cleaning the phone general cache- restarting the phone- cleaning all app data, forcing a new login- reinstalling the app completely - reimporting a photo I'm trying to export - shamefully tried to export at a lower output size as shown on some poor YouTube videos suggest  Nothing worked. I’m using the web-based version of Lightroom on a Mac (the LR application, not through a browser). I noticed in watcing online tutorials the Compare icons on the left-hand panel and the Show Original icon in the upper panel (see attached image). I don’t see those in my version — how can I enable or add them to my panels?

I recently migrated all of my Lightroom data over to a student version provided by my University. When I try to use this new account on Lightroom Mobile I was given the error code "An error occurred while authenticating. The SSL certificate authority is not trusted." Im not sure what could cause this besides maybe restrictions on the schools end?If anybody knows a solution to this issue please let me know. I am using a Lightroom on a PC. I am trying to crop an image to a certain dimension but I am struggling to find where I can type in these numbers. When I select "Custom" crop, it does not allow me to enter numbers. I know this is a feature that Mac users have. Can this be done on a PC? If so, how?

All,  I have a paid account with adobe lightroom and I am trying to download adobe lightroom on my laptop. Jetzt habe ich festegestellt, dass meine fertigen Bilder nicht die Megapixel anzeigen, die meine Kamera hat. Meine Kamera hat 20.9 Megapixel und ich habe gerade beim durchschauen gesehen, dass Bilder mit 14 oder 10 Megapixel gespeichert sind. Hi everyone, I like to edit my pictures in lightroom mobile (android) but I prefer the ai denoise on my laptop. I want to move my pictures with denoise to my phone, but the denoise isn't synced to the cloud and when and when I export as DNG the denoise setting isn't moved with it.  I didn't have this problem when lightroom still created a enhanced dng. Does anyone have a solution for this for this. Please note that I use both lightroom and photoshop mobile. Because photoshop mobile doesn't support DNG I can't do it afterwards sadly.

I used it and pay monthly. Now I canceled my subscription. Cant log in to my photos anymore and it is insane, that a manual tag of faces is not alowed in cloud version! Thank you adobe, but you are making a product that make a big big stain on your company name!   [abuse removed by moderator]
