Photoshop

I'm using Photoshop CC 26.11. When I zoom in or out the image flickers. It's just started doing this to my knowlwedge. I've tried unchecking "use graphics processor" which didn't help. If anyone has a fix for this please advise. Thanks so much for your help.

The web says to set the Crop too to RATIO so that i can crop the sides independently. That does not work, neither does pushing shift.  I have looked for a quick explanation but all i found was to use RATIO

I've been using PhotoShop consistently since version 1.0, in 1990, when there was one undo and no such thing as layers.  I've got 35 years in the program and I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything as buggy as these past view iterations.  One problem I've been having, among several, is that when I select a layer with an object, choose my move tool and try to reposition the object with my arrow keys or cursor, it doesn't appear to move, though it actually is.  I can only see how much the object moved by toggling the hide (eye) icon on the layer, blinking it off, then back on, after which I can see how much the object moved.  It almost seems like a rendering issue, an inadequate system graphics card, but I'm running a Mac Studio Apple M2 Ultra, a $6k setup with more than enough under the hood to satisfy any needs the app might demand.  I routinely run audio and video production programs with no problem.  My files are on a 2TB SSD external thunderbolt drive,

I'm a registered owner of PS CS2 and have used it for yrs on a defunct Win 7 machine. Trying to install it on a new Win 11 unit, and having a difficult time in doing so. Any advice would be appreciated.

This was working fine and then for no reason just stopped working. YES - I had the correct layer selected. NO - the layer was not locked. It was set to the correct "normal" mode and the fill opacity was correct set to 100. NO - it wasn;t any "Commands" actions. YES - my keyboard shortcut was correct for Shift+F5It just stopped working.  The only layer I could fill was the LOCKED background layer - which should NOT allow me to edit at all. OR - I had to use the paint bucket tool to perform the fill.  I had to uninstall that version and go back to 26.11.1 - where by golly - the shift+F5 shortcut and the fill option from the edit menu both work. This seems like a bug within the new release to me. Please fix it for all of us.  Gotta say, I have no time for this kind of unreliability and instability every time I finally relent and decide to do an update.Photoshop, like Illustrator and Indesign are programs I use for WORK.

How to register Photoshop CS5 purchased in 2010 .

I've been using Topaz Adjust AI filter as a plugin in Photoshop. It has been discontinued. Does anyone have a suggestion for a close substitute for Topaz Adjust AI?

Tengo un problema al querer  seleccionar otro elemento con el mouse, tengo windows y la version 2021, obligatoriamente me tengo que ir a capas darle click desde ahi para que pueda seleccionarlo, y si quiero deseleccionar no puedo, solo me deja seleccionar otra capa. Photoshop is crashing when I open .jpg. I can open .png fine.I have tried many of the troubleshooting tips on the forum. Updated and reinstalled photoshop. Updated drivers, updated camera raw, changed GPU preferences. I recently updated to the latest version of Photoshop 2023. For years for skin smoothing I used Portraiture Imagenomic plug-in and it was magical. Now, I can tell it is no longer supported with Adobe as Photoshop crashes everytime I attempt to use it. Now, I do not know what to do and photoshop doesn't seem to have a skin smoothing tool. Now, I know everyone is going to mention the Neural Filters. Yes, I'm aware of it. It will ONLY WORK on faces. I need to be able to smooth legs, armpits, etc. Is there a solution for this that doesn't require me using the healing brush on thousands of hair folicles while editing thousands of photos? I've shelled out hundreds on my previous plug-in that worked great but now no longer works. Any sucessful suggestions would be appreciated!

How do I disable the brush menu pop up and remove it from right clicking? In 6 or 7 years I've never used it and in 6-7 years, every single day it has been an annoyance randomly popping up and I finally realized it was because it is set to right mouse click and that button is right under my finger when I'm using the pen tool and gets accidentally tapped ALL the time popping up that menu and sometimes randomly clicking some brush option on there or rearranging things that SHOULD have a lock option after all these years with all the requests for it to prevent saved brushes from being moved around, because I'm actively tapping the photo using the brush and it thinks I am wanting to click something on that pop up window which is 99.999999% useless for me. It's not a tablet option either, I seen other posts responding with that answer, I can literally right click my mouse and that is the exact issue.  It needs to be removed from right click. I can't find it in the keyboa

when i set the fill opacity of a gradient to 0, the layer is masking onto this gradient becomes invisible too. is there any way to make only the gradient invisible while keeping the top layer visible?

I use that action to create 3 new layers through neural filters sucessfully. However history always lags a layer. That means if I click the latest history step one of my layers will be deleted and I'll have 2 new layers instead of 3."The file type (.ATN) is not supported"Unfortunatly I cannot paste the action file here.

The liquify tool isn't working in photoshop, despite updating to the most recent version, holding the shift key upon opening the program, and trying different ways of controlling it (track pad vs wacom vs mouse.) Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I had this problem on Adobe Photoshop 2025 AND when I just installed 2026. I have a mac os 15.6.1. I open the liquify window, and nothing happens when I try to draw what I need with the tool, even though the cursor is moving with the track pad/mouse/wacom tablet.

there is a technical issue, in fact 3 of them:1. when i try to generate using nano banana, 1st time a network conection error is showing up2. when i generate 2nd time there is another error message showing3, 3rd time it is working however the nano banana generation doesnt blend with the background. a simple prompt like ''santa hat'' and a santa hat showing with sharp clear sand without to be blended with the background or the location where the brush made the selection.*same prompt is working on other nano banana platforms such envato (and this is a basic one i would say) and openart.ai. stunning results. Removal tool fills whole blank part of image instead of where I mark starting with an image on part of the canvasusing the removal tool(photoshop just crashed on me when I took a screenshot while drawing the removal tool area)  Removal Tool fills the whole canvas,  looks great, but it should be constrained to the area I draw with the removal too, not fill the whole canvas.    Photoshop version 27.0.0 release

When I click "remove background" in the contexual taskbar, I do not get an option to "generate background." Instead, I have options to add or remove from Mask. How do I get the "generate background" feature to show? (I am running Photoshop2024 on a MacStudio OS Sonoma 14.6.1)

Our server is loaded down with photos taken at our job sites and we need to keep them all, but only need low resolution images (they are just for research).  I need to know how to quickly and easily reduce the file size of multiple images at once Adobe creative suite software.I have tried lightroom and Photoshop but have not been successful. Thank you!

Is it just me? I'm trying to resize an EXR backdrop but when I go to save as the only options I have are .psb, .raw and .tiffI'm in RGB 32bit on my colour mode so it's not that. Adobe please stop trying to make things simpler and actually making them way more complicated Has anyone else had this same issue? If so, did you figure out what was going on?

A few days ago I got this error message while I was using Photoshop: You no longer have access to this app. Contact your administrator for more information. I bought a yearly subscription not even 2 months ago and I already have issues. 

I need help trouble shooting a computer disc space/Photoshop issue.  My Windows laptop has 235 GB disc space and 32GB RAM, currently has 130GB disc space available.  All I have open is the CC desktop app and my 11GB .psb Photoshop file. As I work in the file, doing basic layer mask and curves adjustments (nothing crazy), the computer's disc space progressively fills up until it's maxed out (thankfully I can save to my external hard drive).  If I close my file, Photoshop, and the CC desktop, the available disc space returns to 130GB.  What gives?? The computer is a Dell Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10610U CPU @ 1.80GHz (2.30 GHz)I am operating Photoshop 27.0.

Photoshop péssimo! Travando, corrompendo imagens, sem acesso aos filtros neurais, as IAs são ridículas ao ponto de dar risadas! Erros ao salvar e ao abrir arquivos. Os processamentos geralmente lentíssimos! Estou pagando para não usar. Caso nítido de propaganda enganosa. Vejo milhares de propagandas sobre todos os recursos, mas nenhum deles funciona. OBs.: Estou a 4 dias sendo enrolado pelo suporte técnico e o feedback é simplesmente ridículo! Atendimento amador e desrespeitoso. Avaliando uma ação por propaganda enganosa e tentar recuperar o dinheiro investido nessas ferramentas que, simplesmente não funcionam.
