Photoshop

I'm working on a 16bit file and getting constant crashes when recropping. It appears to be the smart objects with filters applied that are the problem. Path blur, gaussian blur, motion blur and noise are the filters applied. Its happened 10 times in a row consistently, tried photoshop 25 and had the same problem. Rasterising the smart objects is a work around, but not ideal. 

Since updating to Photoshop 2026, the Color panel no longer updates live when adjusting Color Balance (Image > Adjustments > Color Balance).In Photoshop 2025 and earlier, the Color panel reflected the changes in real time while moving the sliders. Now, the panel only updates after confirming the adjustment.This is a regression and breaks color correction workflow, especially when relying on numeric RGB feedback. Steps to reproduce:1. Open any image2. Open Color panel3. Go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance4. Adjust sliders with Preview enabled5. Notice the Color panel does not update liveExpected behavior:Color panel updates in real time during Color Balance adjustments (as in Photoshop 2025).Actual behavior:Color panel remains static until adjustment is applied.Impact:Slows down professional color correction workflows and removes reliable numeric feedback during adjustments.

Hi,I can't get drop shadow in fx to work.  All of the other options work except Outer Glow and Drop Shadow. It worked in the 2024 version, why not 2025 or 2026?I added the legacy styles and see it but nothing happens when I click on the sliders.I would go back to the 2024 version but I recently uninstalled it thinking the 2025 version was functioning.  Is it broken in the later versions? I really need it for my website. Windows 10 desktop

Could we have it fixed please.  it's often  important to bend some stripe like details on textures/patterns  staying   non-destructive  and pattern preview could be very helpful.   Best addition through last decade actually .    

I've run into an issue opening a PSD file I previously worked on several months ago. Photoshop simply gets stuck on the "Preparing Smart Object" step and it takes a very long time to open a fairly simple file. The fans on the computer kick up doing this too, so I've never let it finish. However, the same file opens relatively fine on a laptop I have as well. So I want to divide a circle into equal parts, and I want the lines to be dashed or dotted. So I drew it with the pen tool, used free transform and did 360/8 for the angle, and then control + alt + shift + T to go around the circle. The problem is, only the first line is dotted and I can't figure out how to make the rest of them match. Any ideas?

Currently, when working with images that contain multiple products or elements on a white background, such as a set of packaged goods, icons, or objects, users must manually remove the background and then cut out each item into separate layers. This process is time-consuming and repetitive.I propose a feature that automatically detects multiple objects in a single image, removes the background, and places each detected object onto its own layer with one click. This could work similarly to Select Subject or Remove Background, but applied to all objects in the image simultaneously.

Buenos días a todos y feliz 2026! Les comento el problema que tengo en mi Photoshop: Al momento de usarlo en mi nueva laptop, la pantalla como que "tiembla" al momento de seleccionar alguna capa, o al hacer un minimo zoom, es un temblor leve y breve, pero al ser tan repetitivo resulta molesto a la hora de trabajar. A qué se puede deber?Mi Laptop es una Acer Nitro v15 con 32gb de RAM y una placa Nvidia rtx 4050. Saludos y gracias por su atención.

Please fix creative cloud file saving... i'm paying so much for the apps + extra for storage and i'm now having an issue where the files are just not downloading and I lose the whole file... it just gets stuck on downloading but makes 0 progress. The whole reason I originally liked the cloud storage was because it felt safe but I'm losing hours of work (this has happened on 5 different files in 24 hours) for no reason other than the app not working properly... it's like every update released is trying to make this job horrible lol... The cloud file storage was so much better 5 years ago it would literally be an improvement reverting all the updates. There's so many issues with the apps... it's like the devs don't even use them properly. For example, for years (on different devices too), if i use scroll wheel on opacity or blending mode it keeps the option highlighted which then breaks all shortcuts unless i tab out and back in...

Image size changes after save.It happens when there are images (not smart objects) that are partially outside the image.Example: 1. image cropped to 1920x1080. 2. Double checked the image size. 3. Save the file. 4. Hi! This is, not perhaps outrageous, but very bad indeed! Trying to create with Nano Banana a small detail in a photo I get an announcement that my credits have been used. Well, this appeared to me not so true, although not being able to verify that absolutely. Then, trying to verify the balance THAT wasn't possible to do - no data appeared after very many attempts. WHAT did APPEAR was an offer to buy more credits! What is this??? I'm dissuated to buy more credits BUT I'm not shown how much I have them left. A realty check for Adobe, do you just want to sell your stuff?? Obviously. Regards, tmas.

Hey, I am on Macbook Pro and it is crashing when I go on the fonts never happened on previous versions/

So, I buy an extra Firefly credit subscribtion. And the next day, partner models are gone from generative fill options. I'm in the middel of a project and each time I spend more money, I get less options. Not to forget I manually logged a pc off so I could work on my laptop and Adobe resets my account. For the second time in one month. I've been using Adobe for over 20 years, and the past couple of months they got me so angry and disapointed... 

Out of nowhere, I've started getting an "Error: Internal error" message when I try and open Photoshop from Lightroom Photo/Edit In/Open as layers in Photoshop. I've tried resetting preferences and rebooting. There doesn't seem to be much on this that I can find in the Forums or via Google. Can anyone help?ThanksJ

Adobe Photoshop crashes/ closes when opening an image. It closes even when using the place link/ place embedded option. Hi, looking for help with this dreaded GPU Runtime error.Since updating to Photoshop v27 when it was released, I started getting this GPU Runtime error when editing a RAW file in ACR. Sometimes after editing just 1 image, occasionally after editing 2. I never had it before. All I could do was close PS then open it again. Using Windows 11.I rolled back to PS v26 but still got the error, so went back to PS v27 in the hope that a future update might solve the problem. I am now on Photoshop v27.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 18.1.1My graphics card is an nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB RAM and have the latest Studio Driver, 32.0.15.9174 dated 30.12.2025.Having searched the internet for suggestions I have already tried the following :Going into the Advanced Graphics Processor Settings in Photoshop  (Edit >Preferences>Performance) I have disabled all the options in there. i.e.      Use Open CL            Anti

I keep seeing this pattern showing up in all my current files. Same shape/color/pattern size, wondering if anyone has seen this before or has a fix? For the life of me I cannot figure out how to fix it despite multiple full system reboots of both my macbook and the photoshop application.

When using the Remove Tool, occasionally, Photoshop freezes, start using all of the available RAM, and stay frozen for a while until it cancels the operation, indicating “not enough memory (RAM)”.Notably, this happens even when removing very small areas (e.g., 10 px wide), while the program usually runs smoothly and has absolutly no difficulty handling way bigger areas in a timely manners. In other words: the RAM hording and overflow looks like a bug, and not a result of me asking too much with my system.Additionnally, bug or not, the user should be able to cancel the ongoing operation (typically by pressing the Escape key), rather than staying stuck for a full minute, waiting for Photoshop to inevitably cancel it.
