Everything was working fine until I imported the RAF photo from LrC to Ps, and an error appeared.I've attached the message and system info below. My Generative Fill suddenly stopped working since yesterday. 26.10 version has this bug, but 25 works well. Is a solution to this problem expected?

Clipping mask issues Good evening redditors. I'm currently in the process of making a dragon for a quick turnaround shirt, and I have text and I'm placing high res pics on text. When I right click and select clipping mask, the letter I'm trying to clip the pick into, is the only thing visible. The picture that I placed, disappears?  Would someone please help.  Thanks

I downloaded only 3 photos with PS with my student account, and suddenly it says that it's for an upgraded plan. Also, when I try to change the file from a PSDC to PNG., with Save As, there is no file type drop down menu. There is only one window to enter the project name.  

Every thread that I have followed leads to these fora.  Having posted the problem and gotten no response, I followed as many leads as I could and wound up back in these fora again.  I have a repeatable problem that will crash Photoshop CC 2015.5 every time.  Always.  It spends 5 minutes going through the crash sequence and sends some stuff off to Apple.  Maybe next time I'll capture the traffic to figure out what it is sending.  Meanwhile, I have a repeatable bug.  I do not have a ready way around the problem.  Does Adobe have any interest at all in fixing it?  If not, why am I paying for the CC subscription?  Maybe the non-subscription is better -- I won't have delusions of support.  (Yes, after almost a week without response, I am getting cranky.)

Hi, I am urgently reporting a very inconvenient issue with Photoshop’s current brush size-saving system, and I’m asking for a fix. I love Photoshop and want to continue using it, but the lack of a per-brush size memory feature makes it very stressful to work with. Other art programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Krita, and Blender’s Grease Pencil already include this feature, which makes the workflow far more intuitive. Here’s what I need Photoshop to do: Each brush should remember its own last-used size independently, rather than all brushes sharing one size. The current problem:If I use Brush A at size 20, then switch to Brush B at size 5, returning to Brush A resets its size—it doesn’t remember I last used it at 20. Even with the "Capture Brush Size in Preset" option unchecked, all brushes just share the most recent size. This makes it impossible to keep track of the sizes I set for different brushes. But as I have to perform graphics work for me as well as for my clients. I am using Adobe photoshop CS 5 for graphics creation. But the problem is coming in my work is as I have to merge two layers available in the same section, I can't do that. And it's affecting my work too. So please provide me a solution for this problem. Ao abrir um arquivo .psd me retorna um erro, dizendo que não é possível abrir o arquivo. Primeiro me aconteceu com um arquivo que havia criado a cerca de um mês, pensei que fosse questão de compatibilidade com versão mais recente, coisa que por si já achei um absurdo. Então criei um nvo projeto, fazendo tudo novamente, aí no outro dia fui abrir novamente o arquivo para concuir o trabalho e deu erro novamente, só que dessa vez dizendo que não podia abrir por erro de "fim de arquivo". Detalhe, o Photoshop não foi fechado de forma inesperada. Salvei o arquivo e depois de salvo fechei o arquivo pra depois finalizar o photoshop.Dessa forma está impossível trabalhar. Preciso de uma solução.

Today I downloaded the latest mac update on my macbook and since then photoshop on my mac has been stuttering. Opened a file and thought that was the problem but now still getting the stutter whilst only on a blank canvas. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.  My gpu is fine and I have enough ram. Scratch disks have 50gb so that cant be the problem.  Any help would be much appriciated. 

Hello all, I'm currently working on a huge file with numerous artboards. To lighten the file I'm converting each artboards into a smart object, into a linked smart object.Since it's taking me some time to actually do it manually, I'm looking for a way to it automatedly create *linked smart objects* out of a selection. I'm on photoshop 2025 if that helps.  Thanks for any help or clue 🙂Arnault

I have over 50 images stacked as 50 layers in a document and want to convert each layer into a smart object. What is the best way to do it? I thought of creating an action to covert to smart object and run it over 50 layers. But I could't find a way to loop that action. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you. (Ps: I saw a simier question asked by someone else and the answer was a script to run. I have no idea about scripts or coding. So couldn't really understand the reply.)

When I try to export a .gif file from my project, I get the not enough memory error from the save for web pop-up. My gifs are not big. My largest file size is 610kb, and the video I am converting it from is 23 seconds with every 2 frames, totalling about 200 frames. Even when I change these numbers to lower the frames, lower the quality, lower the colors-- the answer is the same. The pop-up is always that I do not have enough memory.I have tried increasing Photoshop's alotment in preferences -> performance, and I have tried decreasing it as well. I have tried both .mov and .mp4 video files. I have tried compressing my video first. Nothing works. I have cleared video cache. I have all other applications closed and quitted, so nothing is running in the background. I have shut down the application and started it back up. I've done just about every suggestion on the forums.I can export photo files just fine. I can export a png that is 2MB without issue, but I cannot export a 500KB gif a

I'm using Linux and so far the web version of PS had suited my use cases. But I still miss a few classic features of the desktop version. - Pen tool (selection and free form) - Gaussian blur - LUTs - Non-destructive editing (effects displayed below the layer) PS.: a performance improvement would be great. I'm using the latest version of Zen Browser (Firefox) and ZorinOS for reference.

The Cancel button should require a two-step confirmation. Its current placement is too close to OK, which makes it easy to click by mistake. This is my seconf Shortcut that disapears all the sudden. Im an artist and i use photoshop to draw and paint. Everyone i know keep saying to try the alternatives, wich i did, but i always comeback to Photoshop, i like it, i love it and i feel very confortable using it. But now its really stressing me out and im batteling giving up and moving to alternatives. Why im stressing out_ because suddenly, 2 of my most used photoshop keyboard shortcurt disapeared. Some months ago, the Brush Mode CLEAR stoped working as a keyborad shortcut, at the time i didnt mind it much and thought that for some reason, with all the new stuff that Photoshop being put in, probably the shoertcut was needed for something else. Now since the last updadate, everytime i keep pressing  SHIFT + ALT + S, my brush mode dosent change to Sceen. if i press SHIFT + ALT + M, it changes to multiply, if i press SHIFT + ALT + D i changes to Color Dodge, if i press SHIFT + ALT + N, it cha

When I try to run Image Processor from within Photoshop or from Bridge, I get the message "JavaScript code was missing". I get the same or similar with other script functions (see screenshots) and when browsing to other scripts I have manually placed in the Presets>Scripts folder. This is a brand new Mac. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop from Creative Cloud with and without removing preferences, as well as both v 26.0 and v 26.10. I have since installed v 25.12.4 and the scripts all run without problem. It seems like v 26 is unable to access the Applications folder or something? I have checked the scripts are present where they should be, and can be run if placed in another location. The only related article I found was talking about a similar issue when launching Photoshop with Rosetta, which I am not doing. System:Photoshop v 26.0 and v 26.10Macbook Pro M2 Max, OS 15.7

Hello, the key "<" is currently assigned to decrease the tool hardness. I desperately need to assign "decrease tool size" instead, but Photoshop tells me it is impossible - even if I delete the hardness shortcut. I did however assigned the ">" key to "increase tool size" without any problem. I use an azerty keyboard and windows 11, any idea how to fix this ? Thank you !

I want to express my frustation that Adobe has started charging for generative AI credits in photoshop, when the AI is still getting it wrong so much of the time. Just now, it took me seven attempts/credits to fill in gaps in a wreath of flowers with similar flowers to the existing ones. What should have cost one credit, cost six because the AI kept coming up with either wildly different flowers, or just different shaped gaps. I tried various prompts, and also no prompt. This is not an isolated incident, it seems it rarely gets it right on the first try. And sometimes it puts in random things that are crazy and were not asked for, like a tomato or a foot. I also hear this from other photographers, so I know it's not just me having this issue. I feel that Adobe started charging for these credits too soon, and should have waited until the AI was giving more reliable results.

Hello, I am using camera 5D mark III, by default aspect ratio on this camera is 3:2.When I am trying to open CR2 file made by camera on photoshop or lightroom image is croped.Attached original image properties and settings after open in ACR (LR opens the same as ACR)I`ve tried to change aspect ration. By default its set as "Full", supposed o open full image.For the test tried to open in FastStone Image Viewer - shows full imageTried to open in DPP from canon, it shows border on preview like size, same as ACR crop 16:9, the difference is that DPP tool allows to change crop, but photoshop doesn`t. I have saved CR2 file in DPP with changed crop to 3:2 aspect ratio, but ACR still cuts it. How can I get full image in Adobe tools to be able to work on actual image, but not croped one?

Hello, I am working on a large file (10000 mm x ~8000 mm) that was imported from an orthographic aerial drone mapping project. I have trimmed out all the "fat" from the image and now want to move one section, but it is saying "scratch disks are full". Yet, when I look at the drives in File Explorer, the four drives I have as scratch disks are virtually empty. I have devoted about 20 TB of drive space to scratch disks, so there is NO WAY that a single file should be filling that up. How do I fix this issue? Computer specs: Windows 11, Threadripper 3970x 32 core, 256 GB DDR 3133 hz DDR4 RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.  Thanks
