Hello Adobe Support Team,I am experiencing a persistent issue with Camera Raw filter in Photoshop.Problem description:When I try to use Filter → Camera Raw, I get this error:“The command 'Camera Raw Filter' could not be completed: a program error occurred.”⚠️ What I already tried (none helped):✅ Reset Photoshop preferences✅ Clean reinstall of Photoshop✅ Reinstall and update Camera Raw✅ Update GPU drivers✅ Run as Administrator✅ Launch without third-party plugins✅ Check scratch disks and free up space✅ Install previous and newer versions of Photoshop✅ Used Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for full cleanupℹ️ Additional context:Camera Raw always worked fine on my PC, even though I use Photoshop version 25.12.3 (not the latest).I updated Camera Raw to 17.4.1, and since then this crash occurs every time.I don’t understand why it suddenly stopped working when it was perfectly fine before.💻 My system detai
Hi all, I've seen answers to this query (or ones like it) but haven't come across anything that's solved my problem, so apologies if I'm covering old ground. Due to an unrelated Photoshop problem, I fully uninstalled and reinstalled the programme the other day. Obviously when I reinstalled it, the custom brushes I'd made weren't around any more (not a suprise!). Given that I didn't back them up myself specfically, I thought I'd be able to find them in an older version of my system back up using Time Machine — but when navigating to the presets > brushes folder they're actually all empty. I'm sure I'm just looking in the wrong place or something but if anyone has any guidance on where Photoshop stores those presets by default, that'd be fab. This is where I've been looking:I'm using Ps 2021 with a Mac running MacOS Big Sur 11.2.1.
Since the latest version, the Brightness/Contrast preview seems to be broken. There is no preview. The sliders work once you finish but you cannot adjust them with preview.
After doing liquify on a smart object/rasterized layer, there are random dead pixels showing up on the whole image and it stays as it is while saving a jpeg/tiff file. Attached is a screenshot of an area of an image after liquify. Can anyone please suggest a solution for this? I have updated PS, restarted it, worked on a different file but still the issue persists. I am currently on CC 2018. TIA
Hi, the Chinese font inside the option bar seems corrupted. It's not as smooth compare to the menu bar. I wonder how do I fix this, it's happening to all of my adobe products? I'm on a windows 10.
Same problem with me. I pay money to Adobe but it is not working
There is not a lot of artistic freedom when using generative AI in Adobe. Generation has become so frustrating that I only use generative ai to subtract or add generic objects in Photoshop. As a result, I find that my allocated generative AI credits is almost full at the end of the billing cycle. To add to the frustration I cannot even use my generative AI credits to generate a "generic" video in Firefly - it notifies me that I should purchase a Firefly plan, yet Firefly is included in my "all apps" subscription and my account has full gen ai credits. My suggestions are:1. Make the subscriber's gen ai credits available across all the apps in the subscriber's plan.2. Make gen ai useful for artists, for example: In designing a provocative album cover. It's rated PG, not R. Why treat it as R during the editing process? Constantly issuing warnings that breaks the artistic flow that leads to abandoning the project to use "other" apps? Can't you just judge the final work and
Trying to install 64_VisionaryPanel_2.ccx plugin, the Plugin Manager fails to remove the old version and also to install a new one. It promptly opens up Creative Cloud instead. Please help.
Using Photoshop latest version, Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.8.0 20250611.r.16 96beaa5 x64. I am working in the ProPhoto RGB color space. Normally I am able to go to Edit -> Convert to Profile, and from that dialog, choose sRGB. In this same dialog I am able to select the option to also flatten the image in the proces. However, since version 26.8 this option is greyed out and also not selected. So now when I convert the image it always retains its layers. Seems like a bug. I can't imagine this is by design? It is for sure killing my workflow, as I am running scripts that depend on being able to flatten the image during the color profile conversion. Anyone else notice this?
How do I convert my cr2 image from camera into a jepeg to send online without losing the color and quality of the cr2 image? Mine gets really bad when I convert to jpeg. Can I size a cr2 also?
Whenever you want to turn a smart object back into layers (without retaining transforms) it works fine until you check the "don't show again" box- then it'll never do it and will just act like clicking rasterize. To fix this, you'll have to reset all warning dialogs, which is extremely annoying. I've noticed this also happens whenever you add a keyboard shortcut to it.
Using a Mac Mini with the M4 chip with an Apple monitor (both new). Latest operating system and latest vesrion of Photoshop. When opening an image, no keyboard tool shortcuts will work. You have to manually click on another tool with the cursor then from that point on all keyboard shortcust will work. Or if you happen to be on a particular tool like brush tool, if you brush a line in on the image, then undo, everything will work after that. I have spoken to about 12 different Adobe agents over a month. They have taken control of the computer, tried all sorts of fixes. Nothing has worked. My colleague has a simliar problem, he is using a wired in keyboard and I am using a wireless keyboard. The problem occurs on both. We both use a Wacom tablet, but even when getting rid of thsi and using a mouse, the problem occurs. Must be a bug that stops Photoshop talking to the computer effectively. Might be something to do with full screen mode. If I press 'f' it wil
On Photoshop I have three different layers right now. I selected part of my drawing on the third layer and tried to adjust it with the move tool, but it keeps changing to my first layer! How do I only move the things in the layer I want without it switching the another layer? {Thread renamed by moderator}
I cannot make good pen lines with a thick stroke. It gets all out of wack. Is it possible to make my lines and change them afterwards?
Note : I edited this first message for clarity's sake and in order to be the more complete possible.Hi, there are at least 2 other topics relating this bug but they seem to have been left behind so I take the liberty to open a new one. The bug is simple to describe : when you use a brush with pen pressure in Photoshop, there's a delay between the moment you press your pen against the glass of your tablet and the moment a dot appear on your file in photoshop. The only way to work around this bug is to check the "airbrush" option. Here are the links to the other topics talking about it :https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/brush-stroke-delay-not-lag-brush-stro...https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/can-t-draw-dots-or-very-small-things-...Here is a video I took showing the problem (first the airbrush option is on, then it's off, notice the difference as I press on the tablet with the pen and no dot appears directly - I chose especially a
I just noticed this weird bug in the Curves Adjustment Layer. the Adjustment LAYER itself doesn't have an option to change the setting "Show Amount of:" to "Light" or to "Pigment/Ink", but the Curves Adjustment has that option. The bug is that when that option is changed in the Curves adjustment, it is retained for the Curves Adjustment Layer, with no option to change it in the actual Adjustment Layer, even after restarting photoshop. To change it back for Curves Adjustment Layer, you need to call the Curves Adjustment and change it from there, and maybe redo any Curves Adjustment layers that you already have.
This is an extremely frustrating issue. I'm placing an AI file into a PSD file and the colors shift subtley. Both files share the same Display P3 color profile and are synced via Bridge. At my work we have experienced this issue numerous times and we are getting complaints from our client about it. These programs are 30+ years old and there should be no issue placing an AI file into a PSD. I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps to no avail. The only solution I have come up with is to export the AI file to a generic SVG web vector format. That solved the color shift issue and allowed the file to still be an editable vector opening in AI. Adobe, please fix this issue. I'm using the latest versions of both programs. The native files should not be color shifting.
Hi, I would like to ask expirienced Mac user for help.I'v just got new Mini M4, my first mac, and one of few functionality I'm missing is checking boxes in dialog windows without mouse, for example Resample checkbox in Image size dialog. In Windows they are accsesible with Alt+letter keyboard, so I dont have to touch mouse too mucha, but I still couldn't find a way how to check/uncheck them with keyboard only on MacOS.For me it is big workflow slowdown. Is it possible somehow? Thanks.
I know that it is possible to set a specific pixel size and resolution when using the crop tool. The crop border will then be constrained to the aspect ratio of your chosen dimensions as you drag and move etc. Then when you commit the crop it will resize the image to the specific pixel dimensions you have given. But, that is not what I want to do. Importantly, setting the dimensions does nothing to the crop border. If I have a 1000x1000 px image and specify a 100x100 px crop, the border remains at 1000x1000 px and I have to drag the handles to 100x100 px if I want to crop to a specific 100x100 px region. This is an absurd pain the backside when working with a trackpad, trying to hit the exact size takes way too long. I want to be able to set a specific size in pixels and for the crop border to assume that size. Then I can drag the crop around and get those exact pixel dimensions from the region I want. I was a long time user of PaintShop Pro prior to Photoshop
Where did it go? I have tried everythign reseting the tool etc..
I have already disabled the default CMD+M shortcut on Photoshop, still the app wont minimize using it. I can do it on InDesign, but not on Photoshop.
When I accidently click "Remove Background" Photoshop pops up a dialog to offer to remove the background. After clicking the X on the top right corner of the dialog, you would expect PS to follow commands and cancel the process. Oh no, it doesnt want to give up that easy. It wants to create frustration and heartache for you as much as it can due to bad coding. In proceeds to tell me that its "Removing Background" and when I click cancel, it does nothing except showing that its still doing something?? I had to wait until it looked like it was done. Cancel button does nothing even when its done? I clicked the X and this time it told me there was an error. Well, I knew that.
Hi all, I was searching through posts about upres in LR and PS and was wondering what the latest guidelines would be for upres'ing a high res raw file. Are other 3rd party apps still better then Adobe's? Thanks, Mac Sequoia 15.5LR 14.3.1PS 26.7.0
What causes this - it's happened several times over the years and I've never understood what causes this.Left side is PS right is PNG.I've tried saving with and without color option checked and it still comes out darker.
