Hi team,The generative expand in photoshop is nor supporting for Gray scale images. It works for RGB and CMYK only..Please look in to the issue ASAP Siddalingayya

Its literally impossible to work in photoshop anymore, you go to double click text to edit text it doesnt work evey time you click anywhere you're moving things areound e verything is impossible, totally unuseable.Way to go team you ruined one of the best apps of all time. Unuseable.

I have everything i can for the ruler set to inches, yet when i measure something, in the measurement log, it still shows my scale as pixels. How can i change this, or what is the best way to get this into inches, so i can measure something for wood working purposes?  v 21.0.1 is that helps Thanks!

Hello, after switching from Windows 8 to Windows 10 (on same hardware) I'm struggling with clone / heal:Most annoying issue: Taking the source (ALT + click): It works erratically when using wacom tablet (intuos5)ALT + click only works in about 30 to 50% of clicks (extremely annoying and a no-go for fast prof. retouching with taking source points all the time)It happens both when I use the ALT-key of normal keyboard, a button on the Intuos5 set to ALT-modifier (maybe a bit less often though), and a button set to ALT on ShuttlePRO v2 input device (I loved to use while working under Win 8.1)ALT + click ALWAYS works when using the normal mouse to click instead of the wacom pen (it's not a hardware problem of the pen though)Strange: Sometimes the ALT + click results in a context menue (after some little lag). So somehow a right-click is triggered?? Why??Strange: Sometimes the ALT + click is accompanied by a little lag + a short standard windows sound. Why??By the way, probably another issue

I use Exposure X7 in my regular work. I've been using it for years without issue. Now I am unable to open it with the message "Could not complete the command due to a program error". I've tried everything recommended to correct this issue with no results. I've sent 3 support requests to Exposure Software with no response. If anyone has had this problem and found the way to correct it, please advise. Much appreciate your help !!!

When I double click on a .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or a .png, I am asked to select an application.  Photoshop is the top choice, but when I select it, it just repeats asking me to select an app.  So I click on "More Apps:, and then "Look for mor eapps on this PC".  I surf to the Photoshop directory and select the exe.  But it still won't open the files.  The only way to open these file types is to drag their icon to the open Photoshop window.  When I click on a .psd file, it opens in Photoshop with no problem. After rebooting my laptop, the same problems remain.  I tried using the Default App control panel to set the errant file types, but this didn't work either. My laptop recently installed an upgrade to Windows Pro, specifically to 10.0.22621 Build 22621.  Also, I think Adobe Creative Cloud updated Photoshop, specifically 24.0.0 which seems to be installed at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2023 I hope someone has a solutio

My PS is 2024 version, whenever i tried to use the Object Selection Tool expecting to remove an image from the photo, then the whole PS image will disappear. I really don't know whether my PS was not properly installed. But I could use it for removing the unwanted part of the photo last week. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hola, tengo la version photoshop 2025 y de repente se me desactivó la techa shift que venía por default activa mientras hacía transformaciones libre. Ahora debo estar aplastando shift cada vez y solo funciona si lo hago desde las esquinas, del centro no funciona, Cómo vuelvo a activar la techa shift?

Hello,Every time I start Photoshop 2025, my previous color management choices have been reset to their defaults and I have to go back to Edit > Color Settings to load a .csf file corresponding to my settings.I also want Photoshop to warn me if the profile of the opened document doesn't match, but it's set to "Keep Embedded Profiles" by default.Is there a preference I've set wrong or is my Photoshop 2025 installation corrupted? Or is it a permissions issue under Mac Sequoia 15.2?Thanks for your help.

Hii, Please help me outI was designing a brand guide on photoshop for a client and after exporting it into jpg format i closed the photoshop. The file was saved on cloud and now when i'm trying to open the file photoshop says "can't open filename.psdc because it is not compatible with this version of photoshop".Please help me out because I've worked on the project for hours and i don't want to loose it.Also when I am downloading the file from cloud it is showing 0kb on file size but on cloud it is showing 60mb of file size.Please help asapThanks in advance

I created a brushes folder with all the brushes I wanted to use for a painting project with a unique name and this has now disappeared from my brushes menu

Photoshop used to work just fine until 2 weeks ago, suddenly I can't open it. I've tried to uninstall(including app data stuff and login credentials) and install(multiple versions included) multiple tiimes, it's not working. Some versions give me error 205 instead of 224. I've tried to install Fresco but it gets stuck in the "Loading Documents" window forever. I can open substance painter by the way. Also, my desktop can open all adobe software just fine, and I log in with the same account.

How can I move the title block of text in this image, just a few millimeters to the left, so there is symmetry between the title and the edges of the border?

Has anyone come across this issue on a new high-end computer? Specs:Model: Dell Optiplex 3680CPU: I7-14700kRAM: 64 DDR5 RAMGPU: RTX 4090SSD: 1 TB NVME SSD (Single Drive)OS: Windows 11 When working with any of the Adobe CC products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom. Etc…) I would get masking issues where the application freezes, rendering 3D models makes the program unresponsive, micro stutters, etc. Deleting caches and maximizing the performance settings from default doesn’t do much. Deleting font caches or others improves the performance a little, but doesn’t solve the main issue (their chat support recommended it). These files are not very large (couple hundred megs) but they do contain many layers. Any ideas?

After working in Adobe Photoshop 2020 for years, I decided to switch to a newer model, and upgraded to 2025. I know now that plenty of study will be required to familiarize myself with PS 2025, but knowledge of the Old Ways  has got me somewhere, at least. What I can't get past is the "Hand " tool. If I do something that the app considers "wrong",  I am left with only that one tool showing up onscreen. Nothing else is usable, and even the Hand tool is useless, beyond moving the application frame around on the monitor. So the only recourse I have is to save the file, close Photoshop, and try to figure out what I did wrong that brought everything to a halt. Any ideas?

Hi - I have uninstalled photoshop and also restarted by computer but I find I am still having the same issue.  I use a Mac and the top bar in Photoshop does not seem to be responding at all.  I am unable to create a new artboard or open files from the drop down bar but I can save files that I have managed to open from the files destination.  I'm not sure what else I can try.  Please help!

I'm trying to change the picture from RGB mode to grayscale mode and write a bitmap as well but I can't choose it to bitmap mode and it's the same when I press grayscale.... does anyone know the solution... the photo version was confirmed to be 8 bits and I deleted and reinstalled Photoshop and it's still the same

Hello allMy 3D toolbar and 3D workspace completely disappeared from Photoshop. I'm using version CC (25.4). Reinstalling didn't help. Updating all drivers didn't help. Switching to better monitor display didn't help. This wasn't a problem a month ago. I also get this message when I try to make a 3D normal map:  Note: "Use Graphic Processor" is enabled. The driver is also working correctly (confirmed by NVIDIA, Windows and additional plugins).  Please help 😞
