Photoshop

PS 26.5 MacOSFont menu jumps from where I've scrolled to when I move the cursor to choose my font.I have to scroll past the font I want, then move my cursor and hope it jumps back to the area where the font I want is.Any help is much appreciated. It's very annoying.

I am having photos and AI artwork printed to fabric.  Every so often, when the fabric comes back from the printer, we find registration marks have appeared on the side of a printed photo.  The original photo does NOT have them but by the time I cut and paste onto my canvas they appear.  How do I get this to stop?

After the MacOS Sonoma update, the Ps window ALWAYS DEMANDS a click selection before anything can be done. This happens all call methods including when opening a modification window with in Ps. It also refuses to be active when called directive from Lr. I realize that this seems trivial, bukt when in the middle of a development my mind is sharply focused on a solution/excecution. The required extra click/beep. Is distracting. Help from you the experts would be greatly appreciated. Details: Mac Studio. MacOs 15.3.1. Ps 26.5. Lr 14.2

I upraded to Photoshop 2020,  21.0.2. & am not very happyNow my Clone tool & healing brush are not working. Sometimes they don't work at all, & other times I see a strange diaginal line draw accross the screen.  I have to save & then reopen Photoshop or just use the old 2019 version.   I have a 21.5 inch 2018 iMac retina ,  3.4 GHZ core i5 with 32GB Ram.  RunningApple  Mojave 10.14.5I'm also using an old Wacom tablet, Intuos PTK 640.   I'm not sure if this is a new glitch or Apple, Wacom & Adobe not playing well together.  Daniel

Hi,I'm experiencing a bug with PS, where it randomly corrupts certain projects.I have 1 license and I'm using PS on two computers, and I'm only experiencing this problem on one of the computers. I use the same template, the same fonts. The font I'm using is Source Sans 3, from Google Fonts, and I've tied it down to this font being the culprit - that's what it seems like at least, since I get the error triangle on the font layer within PS when I open the saved projects. Then I open it again further down the line, and the project is now corrupt. The error message is: "Could not complete your request because of a program error".In the 'Learn how to fix' button, my IT department have tried everything this page tells you to do, but it doesn't help. I've also noticed the same font family within Creative Cloud 'Adobe Fonts', there's a 'BLACK' variant that simply wont install. Any ideas?

I thought I posted this before but cant find it and mistakenly posted in on the Canon Community! Idiot! Looks Like I did but I see the post but clicking on it takes me nowhere...Same page!???? After the lates PsCC update, my Line Tool is behaving wrong from prior to the update. Now the Line Tool, NO MATTER WHAT Selection is checked, Sheap, Path...the arrow is painted in a expandable square box and only when I "double click" the "Esc" key dose the "selection turn into a single line arrow. Also the curosr leaves a small "squate cursor box" in the top left of the scree.

Hello, so here is my problem.Yesterday everything worked fine and today it's doesn't work for some reason.Before someone ask I didn't touch/do anything to Photoshop to get this error it just popped this morning when I lauched it.Hopefully someone have a quick working fix for this issue.Thank you for reading.

This is driving me crazy. The "double tap" to open Layer Styles is too sensitive. When I'm working, I might drag to duplicate a layer, then select it: the Layer Styles dialog opens. I'd say these false positives happen about 30 times during an hour-long working session. That means clicking to close the Layer Styles dialog 30 times. This is very disruptive and annoying. Please, Adobe, add a setting to disable this double-tap behavior. 

Hi!I am looking for a solution to copy image from Ps and paste from clipboard into another app.I have tried the following:1. Go into Setting make sure export clipboard is toggled on2. Ctrl-Shift click to Copy Merged 3. Have the actual layer selected while pressing copy4. Adjusting color profile of the document5. Adjusting numbers of layers in the document, including flatten all layers.6. Adjusting the PPI of the document I am suspecting that there's a problem with me New Photoshop files I create using my template... because copy-paste  works on documents from other sources or made using default templates. 

Hello,I recently moved my AppData folder to another drive as it was taking up a lot of space. The old path was C:\Users\<myname>\AppData\Roaming as is the default, and the new path is E:\Windows\AppData\Roaming. Moving the folder like this is a functionality supported by Windows, and Photoshop is the only application that has had a problem with it.After the move, certain functions in Photoshop cause the following error to appear:There are not any smart objects in this file, I just made a 16x16 canvas and immediately clicked "Quick Export as PNG." I have also noticed that the error message depends on what I do before first clicking Quick Export as PNG. I am not clear on how to use the "Set measurement scale" function.I set the value of 250 as pixel length and 150.5 as logical length, unit of measurement millimeters.but when I go to measure with the ruler the measurements do not match.  

I've been working with shapes in PS CC and the live shape properties box is gone for all my shapes and the path selection tool is of no help either. This seems to be a problem with PS that has been going for a while but in all my searching I have not found a way to fix this.  Can anyone tell me how to get my masks, and more importantly, my live shape properties boxes back into PS?

I'm sure this is something humiliatingly obvious, but I've searched and cannot find the answer. My transform box has changed from a solid blue line to a dotted black line.How do I turn it back to blue? It still functions.I know how to hide and show transform controls. This is not the issue. I have reset prefs, and even uninstalled / reinstalled PS keeping nothing. Mac 10.13.6 PS 21.2.4 tia! 

Hi, I'm have a late 2022 Macbook 14 M3 Pro using teh lastest macOS Sequoia, and starting Adobe app like Photoshop, Illustrator etc it's giving me "Your graphics processor is incompatible".Anybody know if it is software or hardware issue?Thanks.

I am trying to cancel a free subscription that has expired. It keeps telling me that i have to update my billing details. I dont wanna do this because they will bill me before i cancel the subscription because they have already charged me $29.99 for Adobe Stock-10 Assets. Well now i just need a way to cancel this subcription, or anyone who i can contact so they help me with this at ADOBE.

My computer recently had a major failure and I had to reformat and install a new C drive. I'm trying to reinstall photoshop after redownloading it from the site, but it refuses to run at all. I click on it, it thinks for a split second, then does nothing. I've tried turning my firewall off, still the same result. I try run as administrator, it gives me a yes or no prompt if I want to install, then nothing. I am struggling and I don't see anything on the forums with the exact same problem, it's usually that it runs, but it won't install, not that it won't run at all like this.

Hello. I've been having this bug where when I go to open something I get this window and it gets stuck. The only way to do anything about it is to forcefully quit Photoshop via task manager. It seems to be random when it happens and has only started happening recently. Every button and drop down menu becomes a white box and I can't interact with anything. Version: 25.12.2Windows 11 23H2Reproduction: Go to file > open (Is not consistent, seems to happen randomly and I'm unsure why)

Hello,Old action scripts are failing and a new recording to simply manage the brush opacity is not recording. Has this feature been removed? I have 26.5.0 running on a brand new computer. Any help is appreciated. Unfortunately support is not a helpful option. (Windows 11 Home)

I want to take a load of layers and layersets out of a folder so they're no longer nested. Greetings everyone(I know this is not Photoshop related, but no-one is responding to my question on the Bridge forum.)I have three screenshot jpeg images in a folder. One image loads a Thumbnail and a Preview and the other two don't. I have reset the Preference Settings, Purged the Cache, given Full Disk Access to Bridge and checked all settings and Preferences.The one image that loads the Thumbnail & Preview also displays the full Metadata. The other two show no Dimensions, Resolution or Colour Profile. These images were Saved in Photoshop and not Exported.The same issue is visible on Bridge 2025 and on 2022.The images that do not show, do open in Photoshop 2025.The images that do not show in Bridge do show in Finder and open in Preview.The images that don't show, also do not show in Capture One - which makes me think that it is not necessarily a Bridge issue, but more a Photoshop Save issue.The issue is not isolated - I get the same issue with work that has been saved on mul

When i used Photoshop CS6, i was able to simply use Ctrl+C/V in order to copy the paths and shapes made with the pen tool, and either paste them into the same layer or a new one.Now that i'm using Photoshop 2021, trying to copy anything made with the Pen tool creates a Vector Mask and it won't let me use it in the layer itself. Is there an option to disable the path from becoming a vector mask each time i paste it in another layer?
