Photoshop

While using Photoshop in Windows 11, the spacebar hand/grabby tool will stop working after a while. I can get it to start working again by minimizing photoshop, and clicking the mouse on the desktop, and then going back into Photoshop. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I USE PHOTOSHOP, and is a very frustrating bug. This has been going on for years, with every build of Photoshop, and has never been satisfactorily addressed. I am currently on :Photoshop 26.5.0Microsoft Windows 11 ProVersion 10.0.26100 Build 2610032.0 GB of RAM

PS Generative Fill doesnt work, the task bar shows the progress, but new layer doesn't appear. Sometimes there is a blink if it did smth and disappears.  26.6.0 release updated today . Use Windows 10

Ce pdf contient des images taggés en Adobe RGB (1998) et non en sRGB et également du texte en Noir 100% (CMJN).Lorsque la fenêtre d'importation de PDF de Photoshop s'ouvre je ne peux pas choisir le mode colorimétrique Adobe RGB 98 mais uniquement le sRGB est proposée.Je sais que je peux toujours exporter un tiff HD depuis Acrobat en conservant l'Adobe RGB 98 mais le crénelage des textes est horrible (visiblement pas d'anti-aliasing sur les exports en image depuis Acrobat).1- Comment importer ce pdf dans photoshop en ayant le choix du mode de couleur autre que sRGB ?2- Si impossible, est que les couleurs subissent une conversion vers l'espace sRGB ou c'est seulement une attribution du profil sRGB sans conversion ?Merci pour votre aide

I have a couple of different user logins to my MacBook Pro, and when I edit in Camera Raw with one login, Camera Raw doesn't use the computer's graphics processor, and when I open the ACR Preferences, instead of being able to select "Auto," "Custom," or "Off," the settings window shows "Camera Raw Graphics Acceleration Is Not Supported By Your System." However, when a different user login is used, Camera Raw uses the graphics processor and everything works as it should. I've tried uninstalling everything Adobe related and reinstalling, but run into the same issue.Without graphics acceleration, cropping or straightening raw photos is painfully slow. I'm using a 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB running macOS Big Sur version 11.1 Photoshop is version 22.1.0, and Camera Raw is version 13.1.0.658

For some reason, after downloading the trial for the new Photoshop CC (20.0.0), the free transform tool will only scale proportionally. I used to have to hit shift to constrain it to the same aspect ratio, but it will always do it now, even if I uncheck 'maintain aspect ratio' in the tool properties. Am I missing something obvious? I've never had this issue before in any previous version of Photoshop.

Yesterday's update of Photoshop appears to have wiped out all of my settings.  My two monitor workspace, where I have most of the panels I regularly use, is missing.  My biggest concern is that one of those panels helt my collection of custom actions.I'm sure I can restore everything, as my computer is backed up every night and I have daily backups dating back several weeks.  I'd just like a bit of hand holding so I don't inadvertently make things worse.PS 2025 running on Windows 10 pro. 64 bit.Thank you.George Butch[Personal info removed by moderator]

Once I have used the Convert Point Tool on a point, and have some nice bezier handles sticking out at the desired angle, am I able to elongate an individual handle along the exact same angle that it currently lies on? As it stands, when I grab the individual handle with the Convert Point Tool I can freely move it anywhere, so as I try to elongate it along it's current angle / trajectory I always get some unwanted movement, which changes it's angle. Is it possible to constrain that movement purely along it's length? At present I can hold down Shift, but this only constrains the movement vertically or horizontally, not along it's current angle. Hope that makes some sense. If not I will make a diagram / video. Feel like this is something that others must have come across before?

Hello. I am working on Windows 10 desktop and Photoshop CS3 for years. Never had a problem. Recently the CTRL+ V command has completely stopped working when I try to paste a screenshot (image from a website or other items) into photoshop. The 'File paste" option among other options is also greyed out. Please help. Thank you!

I am designing a sticker, where I have text consisting of one word, that is repeated several times, which follows the outline of an ellipse shape(basically rounded text). In between those words I wish to put an icon for instagram, tiktok, facebook, etc. but since they are not part of the text I have to align them manually and it looks off. Is there a more proper way of achieving this?

I have a script I got from somewhere I don't remember that lets me toggle the sample mode on the eyedropper tool with just one keyboard shortcut, regardless of whether the tool is active or not. Is it possible to do the same but with the anti-alias on the polygonal lasso tool, with no confirmation dialog being shown afterwards?

After installing update version 26.5, while working in Photoshop, the top toolbar stops responding and doesn’t react to any actions. It only starts working again after rebooting the MacBook. What could be the reason? Thank you!

Heard of the phrase "DONT FIX IT IF ITS NOT BROKEN"Photoshop's Gradient tool has become terrrible to work with. I've been using Photoshop for so many years, and this new gradient system in the recent update has made things significantly worse. The color transitions are nowhere near as smooth as they used to be, and the workflow feels incredibly clunky—especially when applying gradients to masks.With this frustrating update, is there a way to revert to the old version that still uses the previous gradient system? I set this to auto update, now I wont.

Up to 60 ACR raw images from a single shoot on An Apple M1 will not open. The error message is "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." This is Sequouia 15.0.1, Photoshop 26.0.0, camera: Sony A7R4. The files that will not open do not show a thumbnail. Other files from the shoot do show thumbnails in the finder and open and process normally. I've been shooting with this camera before and opened all the ACR raw files on the same computer and processed them without issues. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,Usually I am good at figuring stuff out on my own but this is an issue which I have had no luck with after searching the forums.I am trying to open a 3d .psd file which will allow me to edit a 3d mockup of a tshirt so I can do front and back designs, and then be able to spin the tshirt around to look at it from different angles.There is a youtube video on this file here, and this is also the guy I downloaded it from:Free 3D tshirt Mockup - Photoshop by Sullyman - YouTube The issue is that when I try to open it in photoshop, it forces me to rasterize the image which then means that the 3d model layer is no longer able to spin, or even show other tshirt positions besides the initial one.I am not sure if this issue is because the file is quite old and I have the newest version of photoshop, or perhaps because I am using a mac and uses a PC, or if there might be some other reason. In any event it is very frustrating to be forced to rasterize this file when I just want to use it

After updating to 23.1.0 the preview for Liquify no longer works.  Neither the brushes or the Face-Aware tools in liquify show real time changes to the image. Once I click OK the changes show up. Preview is checked. Everything was working prior to the update. Thanks I'm on a Mac, 10.15.7

Olá pessoal,   Ontem a noite acabei um projeto no Photoshop e salvei normalmente, hoje pela manhã fui abrir o arquivo e o mesmo se encontrava todo preto, todas as camadas tinham sumido do arquivo, porém o arquivo continua com o mesmo tamanho.   Nunca aconteceu nada parecido comigo em alguns anos que utilizo a plataforma..   Se alguém souber como ajudar agradeço, pois é um projeto muito importante.

35 years ago John Knoll gave the first public demonstrations of Photoshop with this image: (See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tda7jCwvSzg)     To celebrate Photoshop's 35th anniversary, I asked Firefly to create an image of a woman sitting on the beach of a lagoon in a swimsuit with her back bare, which it refused to do on the grounds of “Guidelines violation”.   Out of spite, I asked it for an image of a woman in a swimsuit, thinking I could tweak it in Photoshop with Generative Fill, using the prompt "remove".But again I couldn't because of Guidelines violation:     The most disconcerting thing is that I was still able to do it with the Photoshop's “Remove” tool…   The final image was posted in the Adobe FEBRUARY CHALLENGE - Photoshop turns 35! without shocking anyone. Which isn't surprising, since it's hard to understand what's shocking about seeing a bare back on a beach, even a woman's back.     Why does one Photoshop's tool

Using Photoshop 2025 v26.41 - Mac OS Sonoma 14.3  Working with bracketed photography, two layers and then mask out to reveal or hide detail. I. have always been able to add multiple radial gradient adjustments on the same layer mask however, all of a sudden, when I attempt to create another radial gradient (on same layer mask) it pulls up the handles of the only one it will let me add. Seems like a glitch because a couple of times if I wait a while it might let me add another one, randomly so it doesn't really add up.   Attached is a reference of what the layer mask might typically look like, different areas of linear or radial gradients and different densities within it is as well. Any suggestions? I would really really appreciate any help.  I already reset the tool, reset the work space and even restarted the computer...scrolled to all possible areas within the layer mask options but can't figure it out 

I have a gradient that goes from blue to green. When I try to print it from Illustrator, it basially looks like the printer just switches from blue to green. If I take the same image and print it to Adobe PDF, it looks fine in the pdf. And then, if I print the PDF, it looks okay. What is really weird is, I printed the same image on glossy business card paper, and chaged the media type to "Photo Paper", it printed okay. I spent forever trying to debug this, and I think what it comes down to is going to Print > Preferences > Paper / Quality > Advanced and then changing the Color Management setting to Adobe RBG (the default is RBG Color Smart). It still doesn't quite look like it does on the screen, but I get that the screen isn't really "true to life" either. It reminds me of back when I made one of my first websites, and I had an LCD moniter with the brightness and contrast turned up, and when I looked at it on a CRT monitor (if that tells you anything about how

Generative fill is refusing to do a simple fill. It has worked for me and did a good job basically all the time. And now I just can NOT figure it out why it's keep doing the wrong thing. I do what I have always done. Select the area I wanna fill and it just keeps giving me the same thing like I just copy and paste the same thing. Give me a sliver of blue with white. I have selected the correct layer. I have restarted everything..... it just refuses to do this extremely simple thing that i have done dozens of times before. Whats going on????????Edit:I deleted all other layers. Still didn't work. I right clicked on the layer I want to extend and selected "convert to smart object"Then double clicked and then the fill finally worked. 

Photoshop CC is suddenly missing its ability to save as/export files as a bitmap file. This happened overnight, because I saved a file to bitmap just yesterday. What gives? I use photoshop on my iMac Pro.    {Thread renamed by moderator}
