Hi, I love the attached Adobe Stock image and I want to use it in my book that I'm getting commercially printed soon. When I downloaded it from Adobe Stock, its size was only 73KB and 72 dpi. I have resized it in Photoshop to  1.2MB & 300 dpi. Will it print well? It's important it does because it's going on the cover. 

When I use the brushh in photoshop my mouse pointer display used to be a circle with the same diameter as the brush it represents. I must have messed this up somehow. I don't know how. But now the my pointer display has twice the diameter of the brush it represents and has a jagged edge. How can I fix this. How can I reset it to default?     I know that under Preferences / Settings there is a section to adjust your mouse pointer display to your preferences. But there I didn't find a solution for my proplem. Can anybody help me? 

Hallo, ich möchte gerne mit Photoshop oder auch einem anderen Adobe-Produkt Farben aus anderen Fenstern auf dem Mac über das Pipetten-Tool aufnehmen können.  Ich erinnere mich, dass es mit einem Trick funktioniert hat. In den Videos, die ich aktuell dazu finde, wird mit gedrückter linken Maustaste einfach über das PS-Fenster hinaus zur Zielfarbe gezogen. Das klappt aber so nicht (mehr). Auch nicht, wenn ich in PS in der Farbauswahl drin bin. Wer hat eine Idee für mich, wie das geht? Also eine Farbe beispielsweise aus der Mac-Vorschau herauspicken. Vielen Dank!

Going for a while started about a year ago and I've just been working around it.This is weird. In P-shop 2024-2025 etc. when I apply drop shadow and/or bevel and emboss to typeelements the word "iris" shows up in the exact color and position of where I'd like by layer effects to be. While have the word "iris" on the ready is certainly an excellent opportunity for individual expression, my specific needs for that exact word run in the "once in ten years" demographic, especially when using photoshop. I use Photoshop every day of the world, so, that usage ratio could easily spike. And It seems like I remember going to a blog some time back written by an Adobe Developer, but not on the CC site who had a cat named "Iris" and apparently he, amazingly, was disgruntled with his tenure at Adobe. Something about "not getting enough exposure for himself or his cat, Iris." Hi All,  I have lots of brushes but I cannot create this effect.  All I get is solid "paint" with no texture or something like the next image.  I've tried colour dynamics but didn't achieve what I am trying to achieve.  I'm only using a mouse so I wonder if that is a factor. I'm still learning Photoshop, so I'd be so grateful for any assistance.  Thank you

I've spent hours combing through the community support pages and have yet to see one definitive answer for this simple question. Yet I'm not the only one who has been left utterly frustrated looking for this basic PS tool. And now, I give up... Hi Folks,I'm trying to disable the image preview on PSDs, but it doesn't work.More and more these days I reduce PSD file sizes with a white layer at the top when I save. That shaves huge amounts off the file size. Lie 115MB down to 75MB!I tried disabling image preview in settings but it has no effect at all.Hoping someone can help John

Hi,When deleting a portion of a layer mask, you are essentially hiding or revealing areas of the underlying layer, not deleting the object or layer itself; it's a non-destructive process. But unfortunately with Photoshop 2025, it's deleting the underlying layer too. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.Thanks

The foreground background color dynamics to paint from one to another with pressure only seems to be working only half the time or not at all with the bg color only working on pen liftoff. I either get just the foreground or just the background on the initial stroke, I've played with all the settings it's not me. On both machines and with huion and wacom testedM1max or Ryzen 9950x

I’ve been experiencing an issue with Smart Objects in the latest Adobe Photoshop update. Whenever I convert a layer to a Smart Object and try to edit it, I get the error message:"Could not complete your request because of a program error."Sometimes, the layer opens, but I can't save any changes . Steps I’ve Tried:✅ Restarting Photoshop and my PC✅ Disabling GPU from Preferences > Performance✅ Resetting Photoshop settings✅ Trying different file formatsUnfortunately, the issue still persists. Is anyone else facing the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? Please share your thoughts!

I thought at first that it was the fault of my main computer (I have a collapsed C drive and the drives in photoshop I had to set to two others by what I thought was the cause) But it turned out otherwise. The issue started to appear on my second - work - computer. Which has completely different specifications. So what hardware the program is used on is completely irrelevant - whether high end or low end. The issue is like this - that Photoshop 2018 starts to go unimaginably slow after 10 minutes or so of not working in it (that is, even as I search for photos in the database). It is impossible to upload a photo to it. It is impossible to open a new project, because it takes an eternity. It can't handle basic actions like selecting or moving the screen. Everything goes SLOW. When closing a window, the program completely crashes. Sometimes after launching it is not even displayed in the task manager. is it possible to get complete sdk for the Adobe Photoshop CS 8 middle east version ? that has instructions on learning PiPl and other custom built stuffs by adobe itself?  i would like to build some plugins  and since it's relatively old, i hope adobe doesn't need anything about the sdk anymore. any clarification or correction is appreciated.

Hello, I have a lot of product photos, where i have to remove the background and save it as a JPG with a solid white background. I would like to do this with several pictures at once, since theire quite similar. The products are colorful and pictured in front of a white background, so they have clear edges. I tried to add an action for this, which works,  but the result cant be saved as an JPG file. I am trying and reading for so long, but i cant figure it out. If you could help me with this, it would be highly appreciated.I tried making a script, but honestly i dont know where to start. Thank you!!

PLEASE HELP!  We have recently downloaded canon professional print and layout onto our new laptop. We can't seem to get it to work on photoshop. We have gone through the Plug-ins system but still not working.... any advice or does anybody know how to get it onto photoshop? Thanks 

i was shocked that the Contact Sheet II option is not seen in photoshop. 2025 which i use regulary in previous versions. how can i get that option back in phtoshop 2025 please help ive done all possible tricks i restarted the photoshop also reset the essential work space. i need this feature very very badly.  i've commited some designing works by keeping this feature in mind now this feature is not working had lot of work kindly help anyone.  i've photoshop thats updated and also my mac os is upto date. ive also seen the keyboard shortcuts and menus there the Contact Sheet II option it self is not there whom can i contact from adobe for this how can i get in touch with adobe support for proper resolution of this but

Hey, I'm having issues with both Photoshop Beta and Photoshop 2025 crashing as soon as I open them. Both are updated to the latest versions. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps, restarting my computer, and opening both with "shift" key held to see if plugins were the issue.This has been happening since yesterday and today Photoshop Beta had an update so I was relieved thinking it would fix it, but alas it did not for me. Both apps will open but if I click on anything at all, they freeze and I have to force quit. I've tried waiting it out and not forcing quit quickly to see if it would sort itself out with patience and it didn't haha. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm running macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 and it's happening both on my MacBook Pro and my iMac.

Hi there I wonder if anyone knows if this is possible: I have a layer that has a layer mask applied to it so we only see a small area of the entire image.  When i hit Free Transform, the transform control / bounding box is the size of the entire layer, not the small area that i have masked. This makes it a little cumbersom — and trickier to scale down and control accurately. Does anyone know if there is a way to set the box to the masked area? It would still scale down the entire layer but the handles are snapped to what we can see.  I'm pretty sure it used to be set like that but i cant seem to find an option to change it back in settings (it's possible im thinking of Illustrator which works that way) Thanks in advance Johnny

Hi, I am wondering how to get rid of this extra background palette that opens every time I open a photo and then I have to close it out each time. I don't see what the purpose is of this palette but it's annoying. Thanks. 

i do everything you are supposed to do in vanishing point,i create the area in vanishing point, make sure it shows the grid, i copy the image i want to put ni it. But when i go to paste, the grid lines dissapear and the image doesnt paste
