I have a PSD that has a few blend modes, mainly multiply and screen that I have to submit merged PNGs and TIFFs to the client, retaining the transparency. Specifically the image below. I need to be able to retain this transparency so that I can drop different colored backgrounds in. I tried making a stamp of the layers without the BG, but it completely loses the transparency. I also tried to convert to smart object but with the same result. I know there was once a way to do this and now I am just completely frustrated. Please advise.    

I manage a team of Photoshop users and we all rely on Actions and Scripts a lot. Does anybody know of any way to have Photoshop read off a 'centralized' Actions palette? This way the palette can be updated and modified and changes sync to all users 'reading' that palette.ThanksSean

Last week (Sunday, Jan 13,2024) generative fill and generative expand stopped creating 3 choices.  I now only get a single choice.Earlier in the day it was working fine.   Has anyone else seen this? I am using PS 25.3.1.

I've had enough of PS, in fact I had enough of it years ago but I have 12,000 PSD files that are work-related.I know PS hogs memory for absolutely zero reason and has done for the 20 years I've used it - no other program does this, there is literally no excuse. But now it decides to hog CPU use as well, 94% to be exact while doing NOTHING, in fact the PC had been left for 12 hours idle but PS still manages to hog 12GB memory and 94% CPU with zero files even open. What an absolute dire piece of coding this is - I am desperately seeking an alternative that will work with PSD files. 20 years, many different systems, many different PS versions but still the same old ****

Photoshop currently doesn't work with NVDIA GEFORCE GTX950m. Please solve the problem. I can't use with gpu.

Hi! I have a blueish tone problem on my pictures. When I open a picture it is getting a blueish tone. These two picture below is the same...at leas they should be. I have made a restart, update, everything but it is still a problem. I have the 3rd reinstall in this week so it is start to getting ridiculous. Anybody please help! Thank You!

Or la version CS6 achetée en 2012, qui me sert toujours pour des travaux de base sur Photoshop, ne fonctionne plus (soit-disant déjà activée sur deux autres ordinateurs ?) J'ai beau essayer de "désactiver" ou "réactiver" Photoshop ma licence vieille de 10 ans ça ne marche plus. Mon compte en ligne indique pourtant le bon numéro de série, et mentionne que je n'ai aucun autre ordinateur activé. Je n'ai jamais eu ce problème jusqu'à présent, réinstallant chaque fois ma CS6 si je réinitialisais ma machine. Merci de votre aide, car je suis bloqué et ça devient très urgent !Gilles

One of my favorite features of photoshop express, on iOS specifically, was the massive amount of overlays that could be used and easily previewed. Are there any apps that have this feature for desktop or mobile now that PS Espress is gone? I also heard that PS Express for iOS is still available in "some markets," would anyone have any ideas what these markets would be, if any? Or is this just a rumor?

When the crop tool is inactive, pressing Return in a dialog passes the keypress through to the tool. I believe this is a bug. Not tested on Windows. Not document-specific. 1. Open a document2. Press C to switch to the Crop tool3. Press Esc to deactivate the crop rectangle4. Press Cmd-Opt-I to open the Image Size dialog (as an example)5. There needs to be a reduced subscription price, OR a one-time purchase option, for those of us unable to upgrade our Adobe products. "Always having the latest version" is one of the selling features of subscription-based software. But when Adobe keeps increasing the minimum Mac OS (or computer specs) required to run the latest versions, they start leaving their customers in the dust, and are not fulfilling their promise.I cannot afford to buy a brand-new computer every two years just to "keep up with the Joneses (Adobe)." Hi, I'm trying to auto align layers in PS but I keep receiving a pop up message telling me that layers do not overlap enough to detect alignment. Images intended for alignment should overlap by approximately 40%. I have never had this message before but have done this task several times in the past but this is the first time since updating my OS to Monterey Version 12.0.1  

I'm using Photoshop 26.4.1 on an M1 Mac Mini (16GB RAM, 1TB Storage) and I'm having a problem with my external scratch disk dismounting and crashing Photoshop in the process. The scratch disk is a 1TB Samsung NVME drive connected through a Sonnettech Echo 20 dock. This setup has been working fine while I was still using Mac OS Ventura but since I upgraded to Sequoia at Photoshop's suggestion, this setup hasn't worked. I also tried using the previous 2024 version of Photoshop with the same results. It usually begins when I try to open a file with MacOS reporting that the scratch drive has been dismounted and scolding me for doing that. Often, however, when I check... the disk has automagically remounted to the desktop. Soon afterwards, Photoshop completely crashes. I've sent crash reports to both Adobe and Apple but, foolishly, didn't include my email address when I sent my report to Adobe.  I realize that my Mac is seriously underpowered and hope to rectrify th

My wife is a retiring Graphic Designer and uses mainly Photoshop. But she occasionally uses InDesign and Illustrator. If we bought the three produts separately they are more expensive than the entire suite (which is too much for us to buy now that she is pulling back on the design jobs and the prices have increased). Is there anyway to just buy Photoshop and still use the InDesign and Illustrator files without having to save 25-30 years of files to PSD files so they can be imported if needed? I looked at importing files into Photoshop and they all say saves the files to PSD files and then you can use them. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum Thanks,Brian

I'm tracing a logo for illustrator which is a very complex shape, albeit with all straight lines. I'm using the content-aware tracing tool, but it's super inaccurate if i zoom in on the trace. It does a good job if I'm zoomed all the way into the image, but if I'm zoomed out it goes horribly wrong.Are there settings I can alter to make it accurate? The image is huge and high res so it shouldn't be having this big an issue with borders.  Thanks!

Tried to paste an element (not vector) into the field when using vanishing point filter. Usual command+v does't work. The upper tabs in the menu don't work either. (Function command+v, however, works perfectly with other actions in photoshop)

In photoshop if I navigate to  file> export > export as there used to be a percentage quality slider to adjust the size of each jpg you want to export. For example I need a web ad to be as close to 500kb as possible without going over for best quality, that slider allowed you to do that. Now the quality slider is just low to high 1-7, this has way bigger jumps in quality. Our team has had to revert to version 22.2 to get this the percentage slider back.  Is there a fix for this on the current version? I'm on a M4 chip Pro Mac if that is relevant.  I hope that in future versions the quality slider will have its previous capability, being able to adjust by percentage again!
