I was looking at color libraries in PS recently and now every time i go to open the color picker i get sent to color libraries. How on earth do i switch the default back to the picker?!
Hi, By mistake i saved a photoshop file in the cloud with changes that I didnt want. Is it possible to get it back in it's original state or is the file forever lost ?
Hi There were some brilliant ideas in last week's cabin and woods challenge. For this week though we have had enough fresh air and are going urban, specifically into the subway. I created and rendered this image in Blender 3D, and used Adobe Substance for texturing. Now the scene is set, what will you do with it? What story will you tell with your edited image? You can do anything you like, just don't get mugged! The “rules”: Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc. Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go! To download the image below in jpeg format at 3000 x 2000 pixels and with an embedded ICC colour profile (sRGB), hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its o
Hi everyone here,How to create a simple arrow in Photoshop? I've spent a lot of time researching the way to do that, but to no avail. Even after finding that missing custom shape tool, I sure I'm nowhere to have found a way to draw an arrow. By the way, currently my toolbar on the left hand side only goes half way down the page. Why can't I add more visible tools in the toolbar? Thanks, -Ron
Hi I've only recently made the big jump from Photoshop 7 to the latest 2025 and as I have a 1000 questions one I would dearly love answered over everything else. You get a floating text properties bar. which I would like to know how to place it in one position and have it static as opposed to the floating properties bar following you around. Hope that makes sense Thanks
Não consigo imprimir fotos no Photoshop, quando ativo a função o programa simplesmente fecha.
I can see my Camera Data in Bridge, but not in Photoshop. The File Info dialogs look similar, but in Photoshop, everything is blank.
Hello, I have a problem with the Photoshop CS5 perpetual license. I had a motherboard failure, after replacing it, installing BIOS and Windows, the perpetual license for the program was lost. Information pops up that the program is already activated on two computers. On one, where it is active - I deactivated it, on the other computer it does not exist, because the motherboard is destroyed and I cannot deactivate it. Support is not able to help me and deactivate it from their level. When writing to virtual help, information pops up that I do not have a license (although in the products tab this license clearly exists and is registered). From the activation / deactivation tab it is also not possible to do it, because there are no activated programs there. I have a boxed, original, perpetual version. How can I fix this? Help!
Hello, The Adobe program has been deactivated without deactivating it from the program level. As a result, the computer still sees the existing, activated license. How do I completely deactivate the files that are responsible for the Adobe Photoshop license on the computer? I found information about the files: amt3 and oobelib. https://helpx.adobe.com/pl/creative-cloud/kb/activation-log-files-location-ccm.htmlWill deleting them not delete other licenses on the computer? Are there any other files that are responsible for this and should be completely deactivated?
Hola, he estado intentando usar esta función, pero me aparece ese error "Hemos desactivado temporalmente este filtro debido a un error".cuando estará disponible ya que es el que mas uso para las fotografias dañadas. saludos

I'm wondering if layers can be used for a nondestructive equivalent to the Apply Image function in some cases. Specifically, I am trying to replicate: Apply Image; RGB channel; Blending: Subtract; Opacity 100%; Scale 1; Offset 50. Simply using the "layer to be applied" as a layer above the "layer to be applied to," with Subtract blending, works... except for the Offset. Am I missing something easy there? Is it a basic Levels adjustment on the "layer to be applied" that can replicate the Offset in the Apply Image dialog? - Separately, are there other resources regarding workarounds for using nondestructive workflows vs. Apply Image? I know it's very powerful, and might not be easily replicated in most cases. Any help much appreciated.
I repeatedly get the message 'Adobe Photoshop 2025 quit unexpectedly', it will not open.
I'm using a wacom tablet with the latest version of photoshop which I installed about a month ago.Sometimes it works fine (when I've just opened the application) but after a while it becomes hyper sensitive - just almost impossible to use in photoshop - particularly with the magnifying glass and the selection tool. It's hard to explain but it's hyper / everything gets selected / as the pen passes over something, it draws a shape / zooms out. It doesn't happen in other applications - like Lightroom and it didn't happen with the old version of photshop, so I'm pretty sure it's not the pen. It's bringing on an RSI in my hand. I can't use a mouse because of RSI.Any ideas?
Hello everyone, I wanted to ask for help, Adobe Photoshop debited my money and when I wanted to cancel the plan, it was already written on my account that my plan was completed, what should I do?
Text layers in Photoshop will auto-update the layer name with the text content of the layer unless you manually edit the layer name in the layers panel. Then it retains the manually entered layer name. How would one go about restoring this auto-updating of the layer name to a layer whose name has been manually edited? Is this possible at all? I've googled this, and everyone says it's not possible to do this manually, but that it might be possible with scripting. Does anyone know?I know you can duplicate the layer, then re-enter the text, but that gets a bit tricky if your text has multiple fonts and colors.
I'm exporting the same image multiple times, while making small changes each time. However, I'll export the image and it will have a tone. Then I make a small change, export the image again and the tone will change.I've added the images to show the two tones it gives me, I exported the images a few seconds apart and the only difference is that the first one had a layer hidden that the other is showing, as well as my color definitions (it's in portuguese but hopefully it's still understandable).
All of a sudden, I can no longer export a screenshot from a video in Photoshop at its original size.My video is 1080x1920, but Photoshop thinks it's 1080x1080.Did I do something to the settings?
Basically we've gone to a person who digitises art and he's sent through a proof but is claiming we need to change the colour settings from srgb to rgb. I've searched and searched for info videos anything on how to do it. Is it possible to change these settings on the iPad Pro version of photoshop. I'm 100% new to all this so I'm rather lost and help would be greatly appreciated. The trees are coming out green instead of brown. Thanks Suhayb
Hi, I've subscribed one year Adobe all Apps plan I'm painter and I was wondering if Adobe owns an application allowing to show framed or not framed pictures in a room ... something like Smartist, Artrooms...I'd like to avoid paying third parties further apps...Thank you Patrizia
I know someone have opened a request on this issue, but since it for some reason haven't got anything as close to a proper solution, here we goes again.1º - I Open a file in Photoshop.2º - Edited the file.3º - Saved the file and closed the file; Photoshop still open but has no file currently being open in it.4º - Proceed to rename the folder which the file I edited in Photoshop, saved and closed is.5º - Windows won't allow me to rename the folder, saying it still open.6º - Closed Photoshop completely.7º - Now finally I can rename the folder.I'm using Windows 10 ( Completely updated, I checked before posting here ), and using Photoshop completely updated ( again, I checked if it was before posting here ). What I want: I want to be able to rename my file folder without having going the trouble of closing Photoshop everytime I do so. I have over 500+ folders, each with one picture I need to do something, and afterwards rename the folder. It is already a time consuming job, and if I h
I have about 500 poster design files. I want to export them all into 2 images. A PNG of the poster file inside a frame with a transparent background behind it. A JPG of a lifestyle wall showing the poster framed. I need the exported images to be named like the original poster file + an extension. I have been able to create actions to do this in the past but I can not figure out how to do it again. Can someone give me the step by step to do this well? See attached for referenced images. Thank you!
