Photoshop

gopt new computer. Using windows 11.  Old computer when you select printer two boxes would open. One (left side) shows the current printer settings. The one on right gives you access to make changes. Like: print previewe, color or BW, paper size.   I have no longer this setup. When clicking printer I get..and properties I get only and if I click Advanced I getThat is it.  Appreciate anyone help on this matter. Steve 

Hello! I have noticed that Photoshop can no longer open GIFs properly. I use version 26.2 and half of the GIFs I make (from videos, using that very same Photoshop) can't be opened once saved for web without losing most of their frames. The number of frames stays the same as in the original GIF, but e.g. after frame 40 (of 250), the rest are basically the same single frame repeated 210 times. I use Win 11. Could you have a look?

Nachdem ich meinen Imac auf Ventura upgedatet habe, werden in den Adobe Programmen (Photoshop, Indesign, etc) und im Safari und auch im Mailprogramm in den Bedienfeldern einige Überschriften nur mit Fragezeichen in Kästchen angezeigt und sind dadurch unleserlich. Wenn ich die Systemschriften auf Fehler untersuchen lasse ist alles in Ordnung. Was kann ich da machen?

I'm restoring and colorizing my family photos. I've been learning how to use photoshop for quite a bit now. The people in the photo look GREAT (I blurred for privacy reasons). But I was wondering if there is a way to improve the background? I tried increasing contrast, using spot healing brush tool to take away any white dots. Are there any other recommendations out there to help me improve the back of this photo? 

Hello Everybody! I'm not really sure if this is even considered a bug? But i've been working on photoshop for a while and i keep having this really annoying problem.I've been working on Photoshop version 26.1.0.121, i'm on Windows 11 version 23H2.Basically, every once in a while i find the x and y positions of the Transform property of my shapes and images being very slightly different than what i've set them to.For example, i've recently been working on this elipse shape that has an x position of 1500, and sometimes i randomly come back to it just to find it either at position 1497 or position 1503, which is REALLY annoying because i have to keep checking every single thing individually to know if it's well placedIt's always an offset of 3 pixels in either direction, and i don't really know what could be causing itFor a bit of additional info, i already know that the arrow keys CAN move objects slightly but this is not the case, since it happens even (and it seems more often) when the

Hi I cannot use photoshop anymore!   After updating to the newest Mac os update (14.1) as well as the newest Photoshop update (25.1.0) i am unable to select tools in the tool bar. I also can not change a track on itunes when photoshop is the front application.

O problema do photoshop começou recentemente, e eu não consigo utilizar a IA do photoshop pois afirma que não tenho conexão com a internet, assim como mostra a imagem abaixo, no Illustrator aparece algo como "Estamos com uma alta demanda" então não sei se é algo relacionado.OBS: Eu utilizava a IA do Photoshop até recentemente (algumas semanas atrás, não muitas.) o erro também aparece na versão Beta, e eu tenho créditos generativos disponiveis.  Ao entrar no meu perfil da Adobe recebo este erro abaixo: 

so I made a gif. and it just won't move. it works fine when I open it but once I show the layers (other than the first layer), it stops moving and I can't get it to move again. it doesn't move in photoshop, nor when I save it as a gif. I need to show the layers to be able to auto tone though.. any help is appreciated because I've been stuck on this for a week.

Hello,  Thanks for helping.  In windows explorer .jpg's .png's etc. display an image, but .psd files are displayed like the screen cap below.  I need to see the actual image not the icon.Thanks for tips on how to change this.   thnx michael 

HiI am trying to knockout a shape inside a shape on the layer below. using blending option shallow knockout technique.The "shallow/deep" function on the blending options does not work properly it will only deep knockout ( all layers) using PS2023 and now on PS2022 it doesn't work either. Putting the shape in a group solved the issue in PS2022 last week on a differnt project but now on my new peoject it won't work on either versions, I have updated to current versions for both to be spec seen below..... Scratching my head as what to try next ??? Shallow should just knockout shape to reveal layer below but cuts to transparencey layerDeep both cut through to the trasparency layer    How do I fix this ?I'm on a mac book pro M1 14" Thanks in advance for anyone able to help.

Boa tarde, de uns tempos pra cá venho notado uma certa dificuldade ao acentuar as palavras em português no Photoshop CC. Como pode ser visto na imagem abaixo, não é possível utilizar coisas comuns na lingua portuguesa como acentos agudos, circunflexos e tils. Preciso sempre copiar de algum outro programa e colar no photoshop, porém isso é muito contraproducente. Atualizei recentemente para a mais última versão, mas venho tendo esse problema há alguns meses já.

Es sind bei mir seit einer der letzten updates, 2 Photoshopversionen installiert, 25.12 und 26.1. Die ältere Version wurde nicht wie sonst überschrieben. Kann ich die ältere Version deinstallieren?Since one of the last updates, I have installed 2 versions of Photoshop, 25.12 and 26.1. The older version was not overwritten as usual. Can I uninstall the older version? 

Ho letto che Adobe starebbe per aumentare i canoni di abbonamento del sistema Photoshop. Cosa questa che ritengo inopportuna per tutti quegli utenti che non possono utilizzare Photoshop alle ultime versioni poiché il loro computer non ha processore con le AVX2. Questi utenti non possono utilizzare il sistema oltre la versione 25.12.1Non tutti possono sostituire i loro computer per cui ritengo che questi utenti non dovrebbero subire l’aumento del canone di abbonamento. Poi non si comprende perché la versione beta 26 funzioni regolarmente anche senza le AVX2 e nella stabile non funzioni. Adobe dovrebbe consentire a tutti gli utenti il completo utilizzo del sistema indipendentemente da queste AVX2.

Does it have anything to do with DCI-P3, or Display P3?

Bonjour,  pour la première fois depuis des années, j'ai des crashs systématiques dans Photoshop.Je suis photographe, sur Mac Studio M1 Max Sequoia 15.1.1 et je passe de LR à PS très souvent. Quand je passe sur PS, et que j'utilise l'outil "supprimer", ça crash purement et simplement. C'est très pénible et je ne trouve pas de solution ni de réponse à mon problème. Quelqu'un a-t-il le même problème ? 

I dont have any scripting ability and thought of asking the community whether they can help in achieving the below goal.I have a layered PSD file. I am applying two different colour profiles to the PSD file and save them separately as 2 PSDs.  Image1.psdImage2.psd What we are trying to achieve is to equivalate the LAB values of each pixel through scripts from Image1 to Image2. The pixel size needs to be provided as a flexible number so that we can change according to images. Is this something that can be done?Working mode can be LAB but not RGB.  

When I try to move an arboard to another place, it takes forever and the photoshop freezes everytime.Even it seems like the artboard has moved, but once the loading is complete, it reverts back to its original position and glitches..... could you guys please look into this?? 

Hello, I am a new user of Photoshop (26.2). My laptop has a 4k screen and the toolbar doesn't appear correctly. Indeed the checkmark appears under the notification button (see what's circled in red on the first picture). How could I solve that? My laptop runs on windows 11 and I don't want to do any changes in the windows settings, because it affects not only Photoshop but all the applications. I noticed another problem, which is maybe related to the first problem: when I use the navigator, what appears in the navigator doesn't match the picture in the document (see picture 2) I precise that I am French and that it is not easy for me to write in English. 

Hi community. How is this tab menu designed, seamlessly blending in with the top bar each time the tab switches?It has a borderline colour going around as shown in the example. I want to be able to design this style, and be able to export it as individual files for programming.      Thank you.  

When starting photoshop the spot healing tool does not show.

Photoshop will not open. I just downloaded Photoshop 2024 and whenever I try to open, it only opens as a background process. I have updated by GPU's, I've closed all background processes for Adobe, Ive restarted my computer. Nothing is working. Any idea on next best steps to opening the desktop app? Thanks!

As the title suggests, when using the Remove tool, the first stroke is strangely slow regardless of the image size. After applying the first stroke, it processes quickly for any image. This happens even if the brush size is small. This issue is the same in both Photoshop versions 25.12 and 26.1.window10, latest studio driver nvida. 

I formatted the size on 8 original JPG images on PS. Then saved them all as copies. (only way to save JPGs for some reason.)  Later I wanted to adjust images with Raw filter.  On four images it worked fine, but on four others this dialog box popped up: "The ICC color profile of this document is not compatible with Camera Raw Filter. Convert document to another profile to apply the Camera Raw Filter." Help?

For example there are many separate images with different canvas sizes. If we place all this images in one file What will be the resultant canvas size? I tried this & saw resultant canvas size was the canvas size of the image which was placed first.
