WHen trying to update Photoshop I get an error message - cannot find C;\Program files (x86)\CommonFiles\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\ElevationManager\Adobe Installer.exeDOes anyone know what is causing this and what the solution is?

just opens splash screen, beeps and isnt open

End all sessions does not work my Photoshop does not open because to many users logged in it says but I’m literally the only one logged in 🤦🏽‍♂️

Today I opened Photoshop and tried to generate an image with Gemini. It starts but everytime it stops and there is a message that there is an error and that right now this action cannot be performed. I am not using english version of Photoshop so it’s hard to directly translate the message it gives me. I cannot also generate images using Flux. I have credits… that’s not the case. Up to now I was able to use gemini and firefly. I tried flux just once, just to see how it works.So my question is - what might have happened that both gemini and flux stopped working and what can I do about it? Hello,I am currently having a problem with the Harmonize function in Photoshop, accessed through the contextual task bar.Until recently, the function worked normally and produced clean results. Now, however, the generated Harmonize results are suddenly very pixelated and appear to have a significantly lower resolution than the original subject.This happens with high resolution portrait images that were previously not problematic. I am trying to create a new document or open my old documents, but it doesn’t allow me to open them: “We couldn’t open your document. Please try reloading the page or signing in to another account.” I already tried clearing the cache, history, cookies, and signing in to my account. I still get the same issue.

Every month, my 1,000 monthly credits run out within the first ten days. I'd like to see a breakdown of my credit usage so I can optimize how I use them, and understand when and how to buy extra credits if necessary.

Crop tool is cropping before I commit. For example, I use crop tool to envision different ratios. Then I switch tools, without committing to any of the crop previews, and PS crops the image, usually reducing it's size, automatically. This isn't normal. I've been using PS for years. A couple troubleshooting suggestions referred to "resetting" the crop tool. 26.2.0 does not appear to have that option as described. 

I've been using Photoshop since version one, and one thing I never understood is when I'm sampling an area to rubber stamp, why is the grain, or noise, not part of the sample? It's always a situation where all of that kind of goes away in the sample and then I have to select that area and add noise so it matches. It makes no sense to me. 

My workflow is as follows:From Bridge (ver: 16.07.36), I will open a Raw file automatically into Adobe Camera Raw (ver: 18.6.0.2698) where I will make a majority of my adjustments including tone, color, masking, lens correction and maybe some object removal.  Basically, as much as I feel can be achieved before I open the file as an object in Photoshop (ver: 27.10), creating a smart object.  This then creates the two sidecar files, .xmp & .acr.  I will continue to fine tune the file in Photoshop adding various layers.  At some point I might want to make a change that I feel is best by going back to the original in ACR where at that point I double click on the original smart object to take me back into ACR.  I am NOT using the Adobe Camera Raw filter. Once I make my change, either tone or a new mask, I click OK which takes me back into Photoshop with the changes, and I continue to work.   Here lies my issue.  Previously, changes I made in returning to ACR, would show up as updates to

Hello I'm not sure why, but all my colours in photoshop are now displaying faded. I have reinstalled photoshop to see if it was a setting I had accidently changed. The colour settings are as I would expect (sRGB).I don't believe it is my monitor as all colours in other software (After Effects, Premiere Pro etc) are displaying as I would expect. I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on this…My environment: Mac Mini M4 Pro, 48GB RAM. OS Sequoia. Photoshop 2026 fresh install.I’m trying to install ON1 Effects 2025 but when I invoke it from the filter menu the ON1 environment launches only partially, mostly shades of dark grey. Then a progress window briefly shows up, above it it says “Downloading assets” and below it it says it’s updating something I think. Then the whole ON1 window crashes. For a company that charges an exorbitant premium subscription fee, their software stability is a absolute joke. A routine update completely destroyed the core Lightroom-to-Photoshop handshake workflow, rendering the standard 'Edit in Photoshop' feature entirely useless.When you try to bypass their broken code pathways, you are met with flat, washed-out color profiles that fail to render correctly even when manually assigning the proper color spaces. Adobe clearly does not test their systems properly before forcing updates onto paying users. They are using their consumer base as live guinea pigs for broken code.Instead of saving professionals time, Adobe’s lack of quality control turns simple, two-minute edits into hours of grueling tech support. It is completely incompetent, frustrating, and unacceptable for software that is supposed to be the industry standard. I am actively looking for alternatives to cancel my subscription.It is not surprising that so many people are switching away

Summary: I bought Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard, Education edition (Windows, boxed), directly from Adobe in Italy in 2011. I still have the box with the product code (DSGNW3-...) and the emails from Adobe containing the product code and my serial number. I am still a teacher, as I was at the time of purchase.Problem: the installer rejects my 24-digit serial with "This serial number is not valid for this product." I believe the serial was issued to me by Adobe through the EMEA Education fulfillment process, so it should be linked to my product code. I have already read the help articles on Education order fulfillment outside North America and on invalid or revoked serial numbers, and they do not solve my case.Request: please can Adobe send me a new correct serial, a replacement, or an offline activation option for CS5.5. I can provide photos of the box, the emails and proof of current eligibility as a teacher. If this cannot be handled here, please escalate my case to the Lic

Whenever I try to print, photoshop crashes. No error messages, it just closes.I have uninstalled/reinstalled. I have removed any recenlty installed software (configuration program for a graphics tablet). And I have tried everything suggested in similar threads, the most recent being from back in 2023. Printer drivers are up to date, and the printer works fine with all other applications tested. It's just Photoshop that has this problem.Any suggestions? Thanks 

I'm not quite sure how to describe this, but each time I try to change text in photoshop, the cursor is editing the line above the one it should be changing.  The cursor is too big, looks as if its straddling two lines of text.It is not the font, as it's the same on all.I'm on photoshop 22.I've tried resetting the type tool. although it's posssible i've not done this correctly. Someone pllleeeeaaassse help! thanks!
