Being able to rotate the view of a document is extremely helpful. To add to that fucntionality it would be great if once the view is rotated you could have selection marquees and rotate, scale, distort, etc gizmos be aligned to the current view as well. This brief video gives a more in depth explanation of why this would be handy. Also would really help out when working in the rotated view to have flip horizontal/vertical be aligned with the current view as well.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to activate the toggle last state in free transform, is that right??I was using the cs6 version and I am using the latest version, but the function that I used often in cs6 is not working in the latest version, so I am very sad and embarrassed Please add this function
Hi FriendsI am thinking loudly, it's just an idea.I am thinking of developing an Adobe script which will detect the type of picture, for e.g. whether it's a bridal portrait, couple portrait, wedding ceremony or even a landscape picture. For that we need to integrate third party javascript libraries within Adobe script. For e.g. - https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/top-10-javascript-libraries-for-machine-learning-and-data-science/Has anyone done that earlier? Or can it be done in the near future? Thanks
It would be incredible to have this feature in photoshop too (video below) as it is in other adobe products . I actually could use this for my job would be incredible to have with my background design job. Perspective tools are much needed for raster designs for photoshop. Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpQjWjibqHM
Adobe Express Feature is Awesome Like- Text Recommendation, Shape Behind Shape, Shadow, Outline, Creative Text Alignment and Color Palettes Recommendation...Add Some Adobe Express Feature in Photoshop
I may be remembering incorrectly, but I thought the history snapshots used to save within the file back in 2016ish. I went to use the feature recently and was disappointed to see that my history snapshots vanished when I reopened my file. I understand that you can save different snapshots as different files but that becomes an absolute mess and is way more inconvenient than just saving them within the original file to be referenced upon re-open. Of course, saving them as their own file can certainly be helpful in some cases and should not be replaced by saving within, but I do feel it is very important to have both options.
I don't know how many times Auto save had saved me in other programs, just being able to go back to some point at any day is really useful. Unlike the auto save auto recovery data, there's nothing to go back to if I closed the program regularly. I know we do save different versions manually, but we all make mistakes. Like hitting Ctrl+Shift+E and thought I hit Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E without noticing until the next day :’) So please… give us an option to auto save, so I can trust adobe got my back every 5 min… thank you…..
Hey Adobe, I'd really love if in the Preferences > Export we could have the option for Quick Export Location to be "Export assets to the location of the current document", like we do for Export As. Currently, the only options are "Ask each time" and "Export to assets folder" I run a record label and am turning PSDs into PNGs all day long, in a network of Dropboxes with different musicians and graphic artists. With the current settings, using Quick Export, I must manually change the export location when set to "Ask where to export each time", as Mac OS remembers the last location (which is almost never where I want my PNGs). the only other option is the creation of an "Assets folder" which is essentially just cluttering my dropbox, since the only asset I would have would be the PNG version of the PSD. Save me some clicks! I'd really apprecaite "Export to the location of the current document" option under "Quick Export Location"
I'm on Windows 11, using Photoshop 24.5.0 (I have to memorize that because if I click away from the Photoshop window, the "About Photoshop" screen closes which is a different brilliant design decision...). As far as I can tell, to create a gradient you must go to the "Gradients" panel (next to Swatches), and then press the [+] button there to get the Gradient Editor. If you click the dropdown when you have the gradient tool selected and click the [+] there, you get to type a name and then it just makes a duplicate of whatever gradient you had picked before. Why does that not open the Gradient Editor? If you right-click on an existing gradient, in that same dropdown, there is no option to duplicate or edit it. Why can't that be the option to edit it with Gradient Editor? When I finally did get into the Gradient Editor, I made a custom gradient. I thought I had already selected one of the gradients to be editing from the Presets pane (but I guess I did not). The "New"
That is, instead of crowding the legacy adjustments window where they occupy precious display real estate. I know they can be collapsed and the window scrolled down to reveal the individual adjustments. The previous adjustments window worked fine.
Hi if Show Transform Controls Auto will be on as default as Photoshop install this will be very good for new Photoshop users as they do not get the idea of layers easily...regards
I request a view option be added to the Liquify feature that would allow me to view the image inverted. This would be very helpful for me since I liquify masks often and find it difficult to view the content when it looks like a negative.
Basically, I use this feature in windows 10 on 80% Strength and I wanted to use the exact filter settings in photoshop. I don't want similar, I want the exact settings Windows 10 has used to create the filter. So, I was going to create a new plugin just for myself but thought others may use it as well.first I tried to see if it has been done before, no.then I tried searching in windows for any possible related file and found a "warmup.dll"in C:\Windows\WinSxS then clicking on the folder wow64_microsoft-windows-iis-appwarmupOtherwise, could photoshop just ask Microsoft nicley to use it?
I love the 24.7 Beta PS. I often use the crop tool to add "real estate" around my image and most often use the content aware fill option. The Fill dropdown has two options: default and content aware fill. Each time I open PS I need to set this to "content aware fill" because the default is "default" - which will just add blank spaces. As long as I keep PS open my setting in the fill dropdown remains at content aware fill. But as soon as I close PS it reverts back to the default - default. I would to be able to set "content aware fill" in preferences so that I do not have to set this each time I open PS.
This is a great feature, but unfortunately it works only with rasterized layers. For a non-destructive workflow it should work with Smart objects (as a smart filter). So that we could just double click & adjust the selected area or/and the applied color. Alternatively, it could be transformed into an Adjustment layer. 🙂sample image from freepik.com
Para la beta de Photoshop, quiero que añadan una función de convertir imágenes 2D a 3D y Capas Inteligentes para que pueda saber dónde separar una imagen.
Hello everyone!Hopefully, you’ve had a chance to try the NEW Adjustment panel and new Adjustment Presets in the latest Photoshop 24.5 release. So far, we’ve received some great feedback, thank you. In this post, we’d love to hear from you about some improvements to this experience. Custom PresetsWe want to enable you to Create your own CUSTOM adjustments presets.Would this be of interest to you? If so, please tell us how this would help! Panel organizationAdditionally, if you could reorganize/customize the Adjustment Panel including the presets, would you like to do this? Please tell us which ways this would be useful for you. Please leave any feedback you have right here in this thread. Thank you! ---Fiona Yu
I work with files that contain numerous layers. It is very difficult to navigate through the layers and groups because there is no clear distinction between them. Simply changing the color of a small portion of the layer is not sufficient. I propose a solution where the entire layer row will be highlighted with an individual color, rather than just at the beginning of the row.
A feature to remove flyaways would be helpful.
I hope this message finds you all in high spirits and creativity flowing! Today, I wanted to share an idea that I believe could greatly enhance the color editing capabilities of Adobe Photoshop. It's an exciting suggestion that could revolutionize the way we bring vibrant colors to our images. Imagine if Adobe Photoshop had a cutting-edge AI color editing feature that adapts to the unique style of each image. This innovative addition would go beyond traditional presets, offering users a whole new level of creative possibilities. Here's the concept: Picture a user-friendly interface where you can simply input an image that captivates you with its color palette or style. The AI algorithms within Photoshop would then analyze the colors, tones, and overall essence of that image, intelligently generating a customized color preset that perfectly matches your own photograph. It's like having an AI-powered color stylist right at your side! But that's not all. To ensure ultimate
there should be an option to batch export the generative layers output. im saving one by one currently i have 3 gen layers going at the moment 180 frames of an animation to be. im on 35/180 im commited to the game but it would be great to be able to export them with one click. maybe the gen layer can be converted to a group and every new variation gets its own layer??? k rant over hope i make the cut. lol
HelloI would like to suggest to the Adobe team to consider adding an option in photoshop that might be helpful The simplified operation is in the attached picture.
Sometimes I receive a photoshoot of e.g. a building and I need to edit it by adding greenery where we don't have greenery yet (because it is winter). In this case I would like to add the same greenery on all my different images to make it look as realistic as possible. If I use the generative fill now on each image seperately, all images of the same topic will have a different fill.It would be great to use the same fill for all my images in the photoshoot.
For those of us rendering images in 3D, we use a lot of render passes as masks to select, remove etc. If I remove something from the image, but I have an alpha mask (generated from the 3D software before taking it into PS) applied to that layer, I still have the outline of the removed object (removed with PS remove tool) in my alpha mask. Could the Remove Tool also be made to work on masks? My current work around is to copy the alpha as a new image layer and just use the remove tool on that, then copy paste it in as a mask again, but since remove tool works fine on black and white images, it would be easier if it just worked directly in masks.
I want to convert multiple .jpg to .webp file. I added the extension for .webp to Photoshop. As a web designer I receive (product) photos from photographers that I then process into .webp files. At the moment I run it manually. Can this operation also be done in bulk?
