Dear all,I’m using Photoshop 27.3.1 on Windows 11, and for quite some time the right-click context menu has not been working for the Remove Tool.When I right-click, nothing happens. With other tools in the same group (for example, the Spot Healing Brush Tool), a pop-up appears where I can adjust the size and other settings. However, this does not work with the Remove Tool, which is quite frustrating. Currently, I can only change the brush size via the size menu in the top options bar, which is time-consuming and cumbersome.I asked a friend who is using Photoshop on an iMac, and he confirmed that the right-click context menu works correctly on his system. This makes me wonder whether the issue is specific to Windows 11 Photoshop installation. I tried with several computers, always the same result. If this context menu is not yet rolled out for Windows Photoshop, I recommend to do so.Regards kkstb

"Export As" issue in Photoshop v27.4.0 (released February 18–20, 2026), which causes "an unknown error occurred" when exporting

Good morning everyone,out of the blue, Photoshop now saves WEBPs in 16bit only.This happens from any kind of source (PSD, JPG, PNG with or without alpha, CMYK TIFF with or without layers) with any WEBP compression, with Save As (for files that allow it) or Save As Copy.Source files are all 8bit.I first noticed the problem in version 27.4.0; I reverted back to 27.3.1, and even to 26.11.3 (which I was sure didn’t had this problem), and the problem still occours.This has been tested on multiple computers, all running Windows 11 24H2 (26100.7781); Windows and drivers are managed by IT, so there isn’t much I can do about those.Any help is appreciated.

Photoshop suddenly started to freeze during a save operation. I open a file, I make one small change, I click save, and it reaches about 37% and stops. It’s not that complicated.

I often work with a lot of tabs open in Photoshop and I find that it can be hard to see all of the documents open. I'd love the asbility to collapse the tabs to small size and have a preview thumbnail of the tab with an abbreviated version of the text. Much like Google Chrome tabs.

Engraving portraits on CNC machines requires a separate plugin with features such as: spotted stone texture overlay; engraving preview; layers with different frequency channels of engraving points, for ease of retouching. And of course, the AI function for creating portrait models.

This is a weird message from Photoshop, could not open an image !!?Could not complete your request because a SOFn, DQT or DHT JPEG marker is missing before a JPEG SOS marker.what is that mean at first place !!! ... Im using MacBook and its up to date, photoshop version is 19, and it was working perfectly, I use it everyday to edit photos and so on.Now I have one way to avoid this message by take a screenshot of the image and open it, but this is not a solution at all !I don't know why this message is thrown by Photoshop.is there anyone have a solution of this error !!!!!!THANKS

I have searched here and found a few ideas from a while ago on how to get this working. But, so far none have worked. Photoshop offers an incorrect default letter size, and the legal size is also wrong. It's set to 8 x 11 inches, while legal is 8 x 14 inches.The correct sizes are 8,5 x 11 and 8,5 x 14. Is there a quick way to fix this?I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the program without reverting to my old settings, but the problem persists.Thanks.

Hi,I am fully aware of use of Rubber Stamp tool and a master at avoiding a repeat pixel effect.However just sometimes with little to work with , it gets very tricky to avoid a repetition occurring, so having ended up with a repeat pattern from Remove tool and trying to make better with rubber stamp, is there a way to select the area and have the pixels shuffled around to lose the repeat pattern ?One might call the tool ‘blend pixels’ or re-shuffle pixels’ !Must retain the ‘noise’ , remove tool often loses the pixelation, a soft mush developing, which is bad. Cheers,Merlin

Does anyone know if the use of shortcuts is allowed on the Photoshop certification exam?Example:  Instead of clicking on the folder icon to create a group, you use Ctrl+G 

Running PS 27.3.1 on Win11I get error messages in the camera raw filter, in Photoshop when I try to run the AI based selection/masks on a portraitSee this for the person recognition:Then a different error message but still an error for the “select subject”And same again in the “remove” sectionOther GenAI features work as intended in Photoshop proper, it’s just in ACR. Thanks!

HiI have a laptop and a screen attached to it. I always use the screen for photoshop as its much larger. I open my NEF raw files directly into Camera Raw. I don't think I made it do that, as its always done itMy problem is when a file is opened, it open Camera Raw on the laptop screen. There does not seem to be a method of moving it to the monitor. Its most annoying as the monitor is calibrated and the laptop screen isn't, so the images show colour differentlyI would be glad to hear any suggestion that might solve thisThanks

Hi, been using PS for over 25 years.After upgrading to the latest version of PS (27.4.0) it seems that Adobe is changing the dialog boxes on the Mac to look a bit more ugly and less "Mac like". Things like the dialog box font has changed to whatever smaller and ugly font Adobe is using in PS and not matching the Mac OS font as it has been for many years. It is just not a nice looking interface.Additionally in the new Apply Image dialog box (and others), it no longer remembers the previous values from when you last used that command, which was really useful and constant feature since PS 4.0. This even worked when you quit the program and restarted but now this is broken.Please lets retain useful functionality.

I’m integrating Shopify OAuth into a Photoshop UXP plugin and have a quick question.Is a backend (Node.js/Express or similar) mandatory to handle the authorization code and exchange it for an access token?Since the client secret must stay secure, can this flow be completed without a server?Would appreciate clarification from anyone who has implemented this.

Hello everyoneI  want to change the backround color (black) to CMYK 100% but without changing the shadows,so far I tried making one layer CMYK 100%-placing it to the bottom of layers then I selected the shadows and made a clipping mask and tried using color range but the transition between the shadows and backround gets to rough. In short,how can I make the backrounnd CYMK 100%,keep the shadows as they are and make a smooh transition between them. 

In the latest version of Photoshop, I can't use the canvas generative expand feature. When I try, I get a dialogue box with a message: Error 54: Uncaught JavaScript exception.... See attached image for full message.   Anyone else experiencing this? 

Hi, I’m trying to export a rendering that has transparency showing through a portion of the layers themselves. For clarity, I have no problem exporting to png or tiff without a background, but there’s a portion of the image itself that is translucent. In photoshop, it retains the translucency when i put images underneath it, but if i try to export it and use it on top of something else (I’m a testing this on a layer in InDesign) it no longer has the translucency to the underlying background. Any ideas? FYI, there are no groups to the layers, the portion I want to remain translucent is set to screen without anything behind it, and I’ve tried saving to web, saving a copy, saving as…. png and tif 

This issue is making me nuts! When I save a file I'm working on, if I have documents open in floating tabs, the one I just saved goes to the back of the screen and a random floating tab that I'm not even working on pops to the front of the file I AM working on. It's forcing me to reselect the file I was just working on and this is very frustrating since sometimes I'll accidently do something to the file that just popped up in front wihtout realizing it. This seems to be a bug, it's never happened before and there's nothing in the preferences that addresses this. Video attached.  (I need to work in floating tabs  since I'm often dragging and droppping from one file to another. Consolidating all my windows every time I need to save is not a realistic workflow for me. 

Lasso > around the object on a white background, include the shadow, then quick mask and fill bucket to select the area for the mask, then into  refine mask I brush the shadow, so that the mask allows the shadow to have transparency.So while its similar to select subject, select subject and its cast shadow.Its something I do repetitively and would be great if it could learn from me.
