Photoshop Elements

Hi,the menu item "Update..." is grayed out. Does this mean that no update is available?Thx

When I would save a photo I edited to my desktop on Photoshop Elements 2018 on my Mac Book Pro, it would save it and I could see the specific image as the icon. All of a sudden, it began saving them with the image of a white background with JPEG in blue. I cannot see the actual picture/image anymore which makes it difficult as I am an artist. How can I have it save so I can see the actual painting image?

Is Elements 2023 16 bit?  Can it edit and save 16 bit photo filessuch as TIFFs?

Could someone give me a solution on how to take a jpeg image (of a pot hole) and transform it into a scaled drawing showing depth width etc.I want this to show the judge !

Hi    One of my keywords (and its associated sub-categories) has suddenly disappeared from the list of keywords in the organiser. I upgraded to PSE 2022 when it was released and have never had trouble with keywords before. The missing keywords still appear under each relevant image in the organiser display so the tagging remains.See attachment. The keywords have also disappeared from the menu of tags in the 'find by details' facility so I can’t retrieve them. Short of using a full catalogue backup and missing out more recent entries, what can I do?  Thanks for your help. Windows 10

Hello,a couple of years, I bought the license for pse 2020. and lately, all of a sudden, it is no more possible to open the app. It says the testing phase is ended and I have to buy the software or enter the activation code (which I did insert and nothing happened. I am stuck in a Loop of inserting the serial number). So I tried to login in my adobe account and activate/download again, but no change...!Anybody has an idea what could bring my pse back to life?Thanks

So my sister purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 for me as a Christmas gift.  Unfortunately, she was not aware that my os was windows 8.1.  Recently got a new pc with the os Windows 11.  Downloaded the software by using the serial #, as new pc has no disc drive.  Although the organizer will open, the photo editor will not.  Says that it's loading & then stops.  Any suggestions? 

So AE 2020 used to open my raw files in the raw editor automatically when I double clicked on them. Fast easy, quick. But now it takes me to a menu window first as a pop up, then I have to choose the editor manually, then I have to use AE's open option, find the file folder, then find the file, then double click it. So many more steps.I'm not sure what changed but I've reached my limit of trying to figure it out. This makes a huge difference in the speed of my workflow now- it used to be so fast, now as you can see, very slow.I gave up on trying,  went as far as purchasing 2023 Elements, and it works like 2020 used to work,  straight to the raw editor when I double click. Only, I don't like the new raw editor as much as the 2020's because I can save presets for each camera to remember when I open raw files.Anyone know what happened with the change of 2020? I'd prefer to use that as much as possible? Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello,it happens since a week or so. I bought a couple of years ago pse 2020 and since a week or so I find myself in a login-loop, when I want to open the app vialmy laptop. I didn't change anything to my computer.Really strange. In my account on adobe it is still there, that I purchased it.Can anybody help me?Thanks

I select a brush, I move the mouse on my image, I only see an X cross, I don't see a brush circle which normally should be.How can I get back the brush circle that should appear when I move the mouse over my image

I am using the free version of photoshop cs2. I have migrated to a new machine but it will not open mrw files. I need a copy of camera raw 3.2, where can I download it?ThanksChris

This just started a day ago.  I have Elements 15 and always use Expert.  Whenever I started Elements, it defauylted to Expert as well as the editing tools that I used. Now it defaults to Quick every time I open it, and the editing tools (sponge) are back on the menu and I have to change it to the burn tool.

After editing my photos the original EXIF date and time have been lost and replaced by the date and time the photo was edited, How can I resolve this issue to maintain the original EXIF info

Hi, I am using PSE22 and have a new computer Dell XPS and using a 32" BenQ 3200u-T monitor, Resolution (max.) 3840x2160 and max output is 2K.  I had an older computer and smaller monitor and used the same program without any problems.  The only differece I can see is that in hooking it up I used a mini HDMI instead of a HDMI 2.  I did not know if any other people had an issue with this or had found a solution???  I have not tested it with the older HDMI and hate to start because I lose some of the functionality of the monitor which is made for photo editing.  I appreciate any feedback or solutions.I do get an error message on occasion from Elements that says "No pixels are more than 50% selected.  The edges will not be visable."  I don't see how this relates, I am going very slowly it just will not continue the selection and colapses on me, no way to add on either, it just will not do anything to the top 25% of the picture. Thank you for any

Hi,When doing an edit in PSE2022 the polygonal lasso tool works fine, except when I am using it around the top 20% of the page.  What happens is upon clicking in the area the first time, there is no responce, the second or third click then causes the selection to collaspe into a triange selection.  This is really wierd and have changed several settings as suggested on the PS post but still has this bug. Anyone else having an issue????  Remember this only applies to the top 20% of a photograph beging edited. Thank you! Rich 

In the Elements Organizer main view and the photo importer, all photos are displayed pixelated. This is not a problem with the photos, it does not matter how large the photo is, the photos are always shown unsharp and pixelated. Everything is fine in Photoshop, but not in the Organzier. The issue is best seen in the photo importer, of which I've attaced a screenshot. As I don't know if this forum software does any scaling, I've also uploaded it at https://picr.eu/images/2023/06/01/gVE7e.png You can see that all the UI (the top and the right panel) are shown with sharp and crisp text and icons. But if you look at the picture grid, you can see that both the images and the text with the images are unsharp and pixelated. The same happens on the main Organizer grid view, but it is much harder to see in a screenshot there. This issue occurs when Windows monitor scaling is set to 150%. It does not occur if it is set to 100%. Windows version is 11 Pro 22H2. I've tested all

So when I first installed APE 2023 I bought the photo editor and it was launching perfectly fine. One month ago, I installed the Video Editor, and it was launching perfectly fine as well. But I then noticed that the Photo Editor was not launching. Even if I tried opening PSD files, it couldnt work. I dont know if it has anything to do with me installing the Video Editor, but someone, please help me!                                                                                                                                            -JohnTDSB

Hi, I just downloaded the PS Elements and have been playing around with it and it is absolutely rubbish. I am trying to get a refund, but the steps they are showing are incorrect. There is no chance I can deactivate the app Help>Deactivate as they suggest. Could anyone help me with this issue? Thank you!

 Es geht mir um Photoshop Elements 13 bis 2021: ich hatte primär DVD13 mit update auf 2021 durch das Internet. Letzteres ist verschwunden. Warum? 13 hat jetzt am Computer einen wilden Durcheinander meiner Fotos!Was kann ich tun? Ich besitze eine DVD13. Wie kann ich meine Ordnung wieder bekommen? Auf einen Anruf  bei ihnen meinte ein Herr, ich soll das Programm löschen und neu aufsetzen - er war aber sehr unsicher.Nach meiner Meinung hat dies keinen Erfolg.Ich bitte um Hilfe.LG. Comment dessiner un cercle ou une forme vide, avec seulement son contour ?

I installed PremiereElements_2023_LS31_win64 to get the Video Editor and was using Elements 2021. Since that install of PremierElements my Photoshop Elements 2021 photo editor exhibits strange behavior. For example photos in Layers panel show complete transparenct and slider does not change it. If I make a change and use Alt-Shift-Control-E to consolidate the layers into a new image the image in Layers Panel is total transparent. If I save the file and reload it the Layers Panel now shows photo. But if I make a change the Layer goes transparent. I have been using Elements for years and never seen this problem. So is there some inhererent incompatibility between the two versions  PremiereElements_2023_LS31_win64 and Photoshop Elements 2021 By the way my Elements 13 still works just fine so there seems to be a problem here!!
