Photoshop Elements

Hi - I have recently moved to PSE from Photoshop and cannot see how to switch from Scrubby Zoom to Marquee Zoom. Instructions say that there is an option to do that in the Zoom (magnifying glass) Options panel, but it isn't in mine!

When I updated my Elements 2021 to Elements 2025 I lost the ability to use the bacic Open closed eye enhancement function.  In 2025, I tried to open closed on photo that had 4 persons.  The automatic selection function will not let me select the only person whoes eyes are closed. (t will let me select from the three with open eyes.) I cannot discover a work around of the automatic selection function.  Any advice?

Have used Elements for 20 years, but like turning pictures into art.  Have used Tpoaz and Snap 4 as add ons, or Plug-ins, but can no longer do so.  Can anyone recommend any additional programmes that can be a Plug-in, I want artistic modes and frames if possible like Studio 2 Topaz, and perhpas even the dreaded Ai.  If not, can you recommend any programmes as stand-alones, I particlarly likevArt Deco made from my photos? Thank you.

When I select the Selection Brush tool then below the screen I have the options to set size, hardness and selection.When I click on the Brush Preset Picker then I see the hard brush as the default I like to select the soft Brush. That seems to be not possible.Am I doing something wrong?

Have upgraded from PSE 2024 to 2026.  What a hot mess when in comes to dialogue menu screens.  For example, when I select "Save" the saving screen where you select image quality, file size, etc that pops up after the "where you want to save it menu, either opens very, very small on my monitor that I work on, or I have to slide it over to the the additional monitor (which is my laptop) for it to open a little bigger.  I have tried the "preference" then general, the display / cursors section to no results.  My set up is exactly the same (laptop - Windows/ and monitors configuration).  the only thing changed is going from PSE 2024 to PSE 2026.  Any advice?

Running PSE24 on MacBookPro M3 running Sequoia 15.6.1.  I am trying to import about 80,000 photos/videos from my Synology NAS into the PSE24 catalog.  I do NOT want the photos/videos to be stored/duplicated on the Mac, only the catalog index on the Mac which would point to the original on the NAS.This would be easy, except when I go to File>Get Phots and Videos>From Files and Folders the little check-box next to Copy Files on Import is checked, and it is greyed out so I cannot uncheck it.Is there a solution to this problem?

About an hour ago I was somewhere in the adobe online help looking up information on panels in PSE.  During the same time I stumbled across something I saw for the first time, ever.I mad a screenshot of what I saw once it got started.Anyone else ever see such an interface, in any version? You will see it if you add photos from organizer while in quick mode.

I'm trying to download my PS Elements 19 to my new laptop with windows 11. It gets stuck with the install window. Has anyone been able to get it to successfully install? I really don't want to do a membership when I own physical copy. 

Elements working Ok for a few weeks since I bought it but today Guided editing has stopped working and all I see is the spinning wheel. Quick and Advanced are OK.

While installing i got a message sign in error without any code and no login screen or further infoI do the installation with admin rights  and dectivated firewallThe OS is windows 10 pro

I am SO disapointed with the 2026 version of Photoshop Elements. I was forced to 'upgrade' when my new operating system no longer recognized my 2021 version, which I loved. This new version is CRAP. It crashes multiple times a day when I'm working on photos. So frustrating. And I cannot contact anyone from Adobe. Chat will end without ever connecting me to anyone, and I cannot find a number to call. Any ideas on how I can contact an actual person here?    [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop elements forum]  

I'm getting a new computer on Christmas.    I've begun preparing to transfer things over.I've made backup copies of all my downloads, printed out all my passwords (you just export the passwords as a csv file), made backup copies of the 200+ brushes I've downloaded, and backup copies of all the other silly things I've added to PSE.I just use the free version of MS office 365- not too worried about that stuff-(I have access to the full version of all the office 365 apps thru my school account)  I honestly don't have any idea what my FB login / password is- but it's on that list I printed out.On Christmas eve:  I will logout of all Adobe products, to deauthorize them- Adobe creative cloud, photoshop, and the 10 versions of pse I currently have installed, Adobe Express, all adobe products-  I'm pretty sure I just will log out of Creative cloud, and that will deathorize all Adobe products-  I will go thru each anyway- just to be sure.I still have to go thru ind

PhotoShop Elements 2024 - Editor is Now Crashing - redirects me immediately to Organizer where I have to upload files and Print with no choice of paper (plain or glossy). This has become an ardous task. When talking  to Support  they say they can't even find my account. It was downloaded from Adobe June 21, 2024 with email addy given. I'm getting exasperated.

I have noticed yet another file saving bug in PSE 2026: PSE wants to save files in the last directory in which PSE saved, not to the directory of the file you're editing. For exampleEdit and save file foo.jpg in directory 20251207Edit file bar.jpg in directory 20251220When you try to save bar.jpg, PSE defaults to directory 20251207. to save it in the correct place, you have to navigate to 20251220 in the File > Save dialog box I am using PSE2026 (20251112.EO.64802456) on Windows 11 Here's my list of file saving problems introduced in PSE 2026 that haven't been fixed yet: Editing files changes the date on the edited file by the offset to UTCWorkaround: load the file in the PSE Editor again (no need to make changes) and the date will be fixed in PSE Organizer When saving a file to a Version Set, the file name is incorrect (foo.jpg instead of foo_edited-1.jpg)Solution uncheck and then recheck ' Save in Version Set with Original' in Save As dialog box - the corr

I was bought "Adobe Photoshop Elelments 12 and Premiere Elements 12" a few years ago as a christmas present. Due to personal circumstances i was unable to use it at the time. I have now come to use it and i am getting a "Serial Number not Valid" error message when i try to install it. The box has always been in my possession and seals unbroken so i know the serial number not been used else where. The srial number begins with a 1057. I would appreciate any advice that will help me install it ot even or even check the code is correct. 

Impossible to use the text on pickture - suddently. Do I need to uninstall it before I try to reinstall it ?

I purchased PSE 2026, and now I want to use my email (other providers). I entered my information and clicked "validate."I immediately received the message: "Login information validated."You might think this wouldn't be a problem.But as soon as I try to send even the smallest file (photo), I get the message: "The connection has been disconnected."What am I doing wrong or am I missing something?Thanks in advance for your help.Jan - Holland

Have you ever noticed this before?   I was goofing around in quick mode and stumbled across a "AI assistant" in pse 2026, while playing around in quick mode.  Anyone else notice/see/ use it?You access it using the icon just to the left of the envelop icon in the upper right corner of the program screen,SIDENOTE:  The things in the pictures are not pine cones or mushrooms.   I found them on a trail on my property.

Wann kommt endlich die Unterstützung in Photo Elements zum öffnen und bearbeiten von RAW Dateien "CR3" der Canon R6 Mark 3 ? 

I am using Photoshop Elements on Windows 10 64 bit home edition. I am having a multitude of problems today with things not working. the latest thing is I made a picture that I wanted to enlarge. I uploaded it to an AI enlarger company. Have never had trouble before. today after downloading the enlarged image, PE would not open the file. I get a notice that something is wrong??? What is the Problem??? 

I just installed PSE 2026 and besides it crashing multiple time-very irritating because of losing lots of work done on photots and having to start all over!  Furthur annoying because I keep saving my work multiple times a session just so I wont have to start at the beginning again!  Besides that- I dont NOT see the Liquify anywhere in filters, and I also used to Windows menu to chose options as I watched multiple videos on it.Does anyone else have this issue with the newer version.  Wishing I didnt pay for the upgrade as my other ones worked better and barely ever crashed

Bonjour, Sur photoshop Elements 2026, fraichement installé sur un MacMini de 2025, je recontre des problèmes de lenteur inexplicables que je n'est pas sur la version 2025 encore installée. L'outil "recadrage" par exemple est inutilisable, chaque tentative d'action met 10 à 15 secondes pour être visible à l'ecran et s'ensuit un enchainement de rotations, déplacements en 2 secondes. Il n'est même pas possible de sortir, d'annuler tant que les 10 à 15 secondes soit écoulé. Bref je ne peux pas me servir de cette mise à jour, Retour à la version 2025.

I was looking for my 2025 sub to download and correct corrupted files on my PC when I somehow triggered a version 2026 sub. Didnt think anything of it until I got an email from adobe ready to charge my card. Whatever I did, I don't want 2026 but there is no way I can find the "cart" wherein this transaction is waiting. Certainly nothing in the email. Suggestions please?
