Photoshop Elements

Having had Greg's help I now have all my photos and the catalog folder on my external d drive.Rather than continue using my external hard drive, having bought a new laptop with a 1TB SSD I would like to go back to having my photos and catalog on my laptop new c drive.Is the best way to back up the d drive and then restore to the c drive, and if so which folder in c?Will this process move the actual photos themselves or just the Organiser catalog?Thanks

Hi, I'm new tophotoshop, and printing! I'm trying to print from organiser as imusing a photo package (printing two of the same images on one A4) everything works until the print preview, where there's only one image on half the sheet. I've been looking around and I can't see what I'm doing wrong! 

I can't see the spot healing tool while using it in photoshop elements 2021 version on photographs.  In my older version of 2019 it's easy to see, but not in the newer 2021 version.  Is there a way to make tools in use more noticeable?

i'm using a MacBook Air (2022) with M2 chip and Ventura 13. Can I drag and drop files to a USB drive from the Organizer? Or, how would I transfer folders to a USB.

I got error that system won't load because I don't have enough space to launch PSE 2020 with my Mac OS. Recommendation is to move Photoshop Elements Disk Image with 3.37 GB. I want to move it to an external harddrive. I seem to have the same disk image in Documents and in Downloads. Do I move both to my external harddrive to free up space so PSE will launch at startup? 

I am hoping for community help with a registration issue.  I just bought a new laptop and wanted to install Elements 13 (yes, 13).  I have the disks and S/N.  The install went fine.  When i try to register, i am prompted to launch the Editor.  It gives me a link to the Adobe web site to enter UserID and password.  That works fine as my UID and PW are accepted.  Then it kicks me right back to the pop-up saying I have to launch Editor to register.  It's an endless loop.   Running Win11 on a Dell laptop using PSE13 software.   Thank you

I have a new computer and I am trying to load my photoshop elements 2021. I have tried to install from the disc and from online. I keep getting an error message that MSVCP 120.dll is not found. I contacted Dell support and they worked on my computer for a long time. They could not find anything wrong with the files on my computer. They ultimately said the problem is with the PSE program. I have tried disabling my virus protection and downloading, and it did not help. 

      Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 Photoshop Elements 2025 EDITIOR startet nicht. Habe einen neuen PC mit Windows 11 und die aktuelle Version von Elements 2025 gekauft und neu installiert. Das normale Photoshop Elements Icon kann angeklickt werden - öffnet sich auch. Aber, wenn ich den Edition starten will, läuft das runde Ringerl ca.  10 Sekunden - Öffnung erfolgt nicht.Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das Problem lösen kann. 

When I try to install from online or my disc I get an error message. The message says CustomHook_HD_EO.exe - system error and then MSVCP.dll file not found. I have found the dll file in my program files (x86) under common files\adobe\adobe desktop common\DEBox but obviously that is not where the program is looking... I can copy the file and put it where it needs to be if someone can tell me where that would be???

I am using Elements 2022, the software is on my Windows 10 laptop but I maintain the catalog on an external hard drive.I plan to buy a Windows 11 laptop and download the 2022 software onto it.CanI just unplug the extenal hard drive and plug it into my new computer for Elements Organiser to find and use my Catalog?Thanks

HI all , I was trying to edit photos in elements 2022 but it it doesn't recognize the format ,shots were taken on a Canon R7 in raw any help is apprciated 

Ich gedenke das Programm Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 zu erwerben. Vorab habe die Testversion installiert um das Programm zu testen.  Bisher bin ich nicht weit gekommen.  Wenn ich Fotos von der SD Karte Importieren möchte bekomme ich permanent die Meldung:  Schwerer Fehler  Adobe Fotodownloader ist auf ein Problem gestoßen und muss geschlossen werden. Fehlercode: c0000094Adresse: 4014f5f0 Der Fehler tritt sowohl bei Windows 10 als auch windows 11 auf.   Beides jeweils frische installationen. Weiterhin wurden mehrere SD Karten getestet und auch an verschiedenen USB Ports mit verschiedenen Kartenlesern.   Auch Tests mit USB Sticks blieben erfolglos.  Wo kann da der Fehler liegen. 

I changed hard drives and now elements thinks my photos are on a drive I no longer have. How to fix? Can I delete the current catalog and start over? Originally files were on H:\ and now they are on M:\.

First time ever happened.  I go to pse 2025 and select Organizer. A little circle rotates for a while and then throws an error message.

How do I create a large collage with Adobe Photoshop Elemnents 2024 using more than the set 8 pictures? Thanks

I recently got Windows 11 on my computer. Now, I am having a few issues with Photoshop Elements 2020. Is there an update I need? Thanks. 

I've got PSE 8 from about 2009. I moved from W10 to W11 a couple of days ago and installed PSE 8 from the original CD.The problem is that W11 memory integrity really doesn't like two drivers ... Px Engine Device Driver    and   PxHlpa64.sys           both of which seem to relate to CD / DVD (writing, presumably). PSE 8 then seems to work UNTIL I reboot, when it fails to start.  The blue screen offers the opportunity to restore a Restore Point and that brings it back ... but without PSE 8, of course. Someone must have found a way to install PSE 8 on W11 by now, so I look forward to receiving any advice (apart from "upgrading") 🙂I really like PSE 8 (and I really hated PSE 14 when I tried it years ago)  PSE 8 is simple and does what I need it to do.

Ich möchte auf einem neuen PC Photoshop Elements 2020 und Premiere Elements 2020 neu installieren. Beim sign-in bekomme ich die Meldung dass ich bereits auf der maximalen Anzahl Computern mit dem Schlüssel eingeloggt bin. Ich habe diese Computer aber nicht mehr und kann mich nicht ausloggen.Eine Unterhaltung mit dem Chat Support führte zu keine Lösung. Der Support kann offenbar die Aktivierungen aufgrund einer "kürzlichen Politikänderung" von Adobe nicht mehr zurücksetzen. Damit werden meine beiden Lizenzen für Elements 2020 de facto wertlos.Wie kann man die Rücksetzung der Aktivierungen machen? Ich will kein Produkt mit einem Abo, deshalb verwende ich die Elements Produkte.

I can't work out how to setup this software so that it automatically opens in the Photo Editor Advanced Mode, so I don't have to go through all the intro screens. Can anyone help please? Mike

My Elements 12 catalog (converted from Elements 10) has a BreezeData folder with over 5,000 html files named something like breeze-5172.xml and start in 2011 and end in 2018. What are these breeze files for? I ran an AI search and got a lot of information about how they may include metadata, thumbnails, etc. However, why do they stop at 2018 when I'm continuing to use the program? Is that when a new version of Elements came out with a new way to handle this data? All attempts to answer this are appreciated.

I have Adobe Photoshop 2024 Elements Organizer 24.0.0.0.  When I use File>Export as New File(s) to export a JPG file and select JPEG as the File Type, a jJPG file is created instead of a JPEG file.  This happens with both with the Original Name and Common Base File Name selected.  I am trying to copy my photos from Elements to Apple iPhoto.  iPhoto will not accept JPG files.  The work around I have to use is use Microsoft to load the jpg file created by Elements and save it as a JPEG file and then download it into iPhoto.

Bonjour, j'utilise PHotoshop Elements et Première Elements version 2019  sous Windows 10. Jusqu'à présent  je n'ai eu aucun problème mais depuis quelques jours chaque fois que je veux importer des photos prises avec mon smartphone l'organisateur ne m'affiche pas les photos voici ce que j'obtiens:(j'ai vidé le cache, réparer et optimiser le catalogue mais rien ne change. Les anciennes photos s'affichentnormalement) Merci pour votre aide.

I just upgraded to Elements 2025 (for Windows 11) around 10 days ago. One of the reasons for the upgrade was that it was reported that it would support HEIC files from i-Phones (since PSE 2023!). I followed the steps to install the codecs required for HEIC files to be recognized in PSE 2025. I re-installed the HEIF extension file and installed the HEVC Video Extensions ($0.99 from MS Store) without any success with PSE.  I spent an inordinate amount of time troubleshooting this process without success.  Then, I tried the same files on a friend's computer where he has both PSE 2023 and Photoshop installed and found he had the exact same issue with PSE 2023, BUT the HEIC files opened fine in Photoshop!  The Adobe Virtual Assistant confirmed "Photoshop Elements 2025 does not support HEIC files natively, while Photoshop does." It goes on to suggest converting HEIC files to jpegs...this wasn't the answer I wanted having just upgraded with the expectation PSE 2025 di

Yesterday, the Photo Editor programme in Elements 2025 stopped working. I've only had Photoshop Elements  for a couple of weeks so it's more than a lttle frustrating that I can't use it!Any ideas?

I have recently upgraded to Elements 2025,  and had it install Camera Raw from the Help menu.  It's installed versio 17.0.  According to the recent table for my Nikon Z5ii raw files I need version 17.3   I have downloaded that separately and installed, but in Elements it's still showing as 17.0 and I cannot open the files.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
