Photoshop Elements

The various enhancements are all grayed out. It's as if the file is locked.

Nach dem ich im Juni 2025 ein Upgrade von PSE 2022 auf PSE 2025 durch geführt habe und die Übernahme der Daten von Version 2022 auf 2025 geklappt hat, ist seither in der Version 2025 das randlose drucken von Fotos auf meinem Drucker (Canon Pixma IP 8750) nicht mehr möglich. Bei der Druck-Einstelllung "randloser Druck" erscheint auf dem Ausdruck jeweils auf der rechten und unteren Seite ein weisser Rand, während in der Version 2022 der randlose Druck einwandfrei funktioniert. Auch ein einstündiges Gespräch mit Adobe customer care  schaffte keine Abhilfe des Problems. Es kam der Hinweis, dass ich über die community es versuchen sollte, Abhilfe für mein Problem zu finden. Hier nun meine Bitte, kann mir jemand helfen, das Problem zu  lösen?

Hello,I have Elements 2023 and in the Media Analysis area it has a Generate Auto Creations tick box.  I do not want to use this but it will not stay unticked. In fact the only option of the 4 under Media Analysis that will stay unticked is - Show Smart tags and Auto Curate. How can I turn the other 3 off. From reading this forum is seems this is still a problem in the PSE 2025 version, however I cannot find anything about how to fix this for PSE 2023.   Auto Creations slows things down and stops me from deleting files etc as it is always doing something.  Very frustrating.  

I am using the Windows 11 version of Elements 2025.   When I first launched the Photo Editor Software and up until 3 weeks ago, it allowed me the same processes that Elements 2018 did, with full Tool Panel Access.  Now when I launch the Photo Editor, I only get a reduced Tool set (I can't even find the Eraser Tool) with really restrictive work area Before/After/Both options.  What happened?  Why can't I see the most basic tools?  There must be an easy switch somewhere.  

How do I move multiple photos from one album to another?

When I try to show my photos on tv I can only see the pictures that have not been edited in Photoshop Elements. What can I do do show my nicely edited photos on my tv?

A small fraction of NEF files from a Nikon Z6 are not recognised by my Photoshop Elements and therefore will not open after I have copied them to my hard drive.  Elements 2020 says it does not recognise the file?  Is there any way to fix these files or get them so I can open them?  Any ideas for a cause of this.  Nikon said to reformat my storage disk in the camera but that did not seem to help.  Thank you! 

Trying to put Windows Photoshop Elements 2020 back on  PC.  Can't activate.    Last night got the "Opps! Can't process this now".  Talked to tech support.  Thought we got  activation code straightened out.  Today, still can't complete the installation. Getting " this code is invalid".   

Hey,i feel this is a really simple fix, but being new and short on time to Photoshop elements, im needing some guidance. i have some pictures that i need to adjust the lighting and exposer etc. on both the background and the subject. Doing the adjustments to the whole picture isnt getting the result i was looking for. Needing a few straightforward prompts please 🙂

My Elements 2018 will not recognize, import or edit NEF files from Nikon Z6 iii.  It does everything with NEF files from Nikon D750.  What's wrong?

I am running Windows 11 with all updates applied.I am using Adobe Photosop Elements 2025.I have used Adobe Photoshop Elements for many years. All of a sudden the software is putting my photos on the cloud. I do not want my photos on the cloud. How do I turn this off? Also if I delete photos from the cloud will it also delete them from the local drive where I store all my 10,000+ photos?Any and all help in this matter is appreciated. 

I have a desktop imac mac os Sequoia 15.5. 3GHz 6 Core intel Core i5. 8GB memory, 1 TB harddrive. 5 TB external harddrive. I upgraded through Adobe account. First time I installed the application it would not download the images into Organizer. I contacted Adobe and followed instructions to reset the preferences, create new catalog, deselect all checkboxes in Media Analysis and Files tab. If it doesn't repond then reinstall the application. After reinstalling the app the Organizer took 3 days to import the 171,364 items. Now it takes 15 minutes to open and everytime I move the curser to click on anything it stalls and spinns the beach ball for 10+ minutes.Preferences, file, edit, etc are all greyed out. I can not quit the application but have to force quit.The Elements Editor works well. Any advise on how to get this Organizer to respond?Thanks for all assistance. 

Ich besitze die Version: Elements Organizer 18.0.0.0 Core-Version: 18.0 (20201207.m.154403) Größe des Katalogs: 226,1 MB Größe des Katalog-Cache: 2,7 GBIch besitze derzeit ca. 21.000 Bilder in der Datei. Ich wollte updaten zu Elements 2025. Habe ich dadurch eine größere Speicherkapazität?

Meine Photoshop Elements ist auf dem aktuellen Stand. Meine Kamera ist ebenfalls aufgeführt, dass sie unterstützt werden sollte. Leider kann ich die Dateien nicht öffnen

Reason: First for curiosity, second for general understanding.Situation: I just upgraded from PSE 2020 (18.0) to PSE 2025 (25.0)Question: Is there a list "somewhere" of folders and file types that are used by PSE in its Catalog folder, and what each is for?  For instance: what are .mk4 files?  I have a huge one from 2016!  Likewise, what is the WaldoData folder used for?  And I notice that the (new?) catalog extension is .pse25db and I see a .pse25db-shm and a .pse25db-wal, but I also see a .pse18db-she, and a .pse18db-wal.Thank,    -cj

When I type all the text is ALL CAPS.  How to turn this off so I can type lowercase text?  I'm on Photoshop Elements 2025 for Mac. Tried reaching out to Adobe support but their chat system keeps ending the chat without ever connecting me to live support - so frustrating. 

I installed photoshop elements 2025 on my mac and cannot resize obects. The resizing frame (with the squares  at corners so you can pull and push an object to resize and tilt) is missing. I reinstalled elements 2025 but that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks

why does my photo shop turn off when i try and print directly from photoshop. It never did this until July 1 2025.  Is Adobe trying to update to 2025?  I want my 2021 just like it alwaysa has been

Every time I exit the Photoshop Elements 2025 Photo Editor, I get the following error: "Unhandled win32 exception occurred in [27752] PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"

I used the Rectangle Tool Visibility option just fine 2 days ago. Now Visibility option is gone and I can't find it no way no how. This is the box with 3 options and a big red X in the middle box. This version of PSE is the most frustrating yet. "Things" disappear all the time and I spend hours finding what is now missing. The documentation is almost worthless to solve your own problem. 

HelloWhen I upgraded to verision 25.0 the folder view in Organiser changed, and will now only show some of my folders and files. How can I fix this?I have run the repair-option with no effect.Best regardsFinn HovePS: I have noticed that my system info says, that I run Win10. But in fact I run a fully updated Win11

Hello, I recetly switched computers to a 2015 imac with no CD drive and was hoping to download elements 15 directly from the Adobe site with the serial number.  It donwloads up the exe file but when I try to launch it tells me unable.  Any suggestions or fixes or am I stuck upgrading?   thanks
