My spec...Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GBWindows 10 Pro1920 x 1200  59.950Hz  Intel(R) UHD Graphics I am experiencing problems in InDesign when on High Quality Display.If I move a graphic, it disappears so I cannot see the frame end. It also makes other graphics that I move it over disappear.If I zoom in/out graphics appear/disappearI am also experiencing issues with the scrub bar in Premiere when it won't display 'live' when I move the bar. The IT department are unsure whether it is hardware/software/network issues. They have moved me from an iMac onto a Dell XPS, which they thought was fit-for-purpose. Never had these issues with the iMac. Does anyone else have these graphics problems?

I inherited an Indesign document with facing page layout and only one parent page A.  The page numbers are centered at the bottom of the page.  The client now wants the page numbers located on the left and right hand corners of the page. How to I get to this without wrecking the layout? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Mike

Sur Mac, il faut, pour la liste Excel à utiliser sur Indesign comme source de données :- Aucune entête de colonne ne doit être vide- Intituler la colonne, précéder le nom ex. « drapeaux » de ‘@ (apostrophe + arobase)- Se positionner sur le nom du drapeau choisi (dans son dossier), option+command+C puis coller dans la cellule Excel voulue- Toujours pour une utilisation sur Mac, dans le tableau Excel, faire « rechercher » les « / »  puis le remplacer par « : » partout-  Enregistrer le fichier Excel en « texte (séparateur : tabulation) (.txt)- Sélectionner sur Indesign cette source de données en .txt Aucun souci pour les textes, mais les images ne viennent jamais.Quelque chose est-il mal paramètré sur Mac ou sur Indesign ?Toujours le même message :La source de données renvoie à une ou plusieurs images manquantes.Les images manquantes ne peuvent être ni pré visualisées ni fusionnées.Au moment de créer un document fusionné, vo

I have a MacBook Pro and I've been tasked with created an event program that needs to be printed on 8.5 x 11 then folded and stapled. When I use 2-up saddle stitch, it just prints it flat. This is becoming very frustrating because I can print, fold, & staple our newsletter on 11x17 paper, but I can't do this. I've tried exportng it ot PDF and printing, folding, and stapling and that doesn't work either. Help!

The text validation process failed due to character encoding issues. Specifically, when a character is represented by 3 to 4 characters, it should be converted to a single character. During the web PDF processing, there were no errors or font issues. During the accessibility processing, the Myanmar (Burmese) characters were not being interpreted correctly, which led to an error message (please refer to the screenshot). We are using the Padauk and Myanmar fonts and trying to display Burmese characters, but it's not working. We have been attempting this for over three months, but the characters are not clear. Please provide some suggestions to help us resolve this issue.

In the same way that the Alignment setting for paragraphs can be "Left Justify" vs. "Full Justify", is there a way to set a text frame's vertical alignment to do something like "Top Justify", so that frames that have content flowing to the next threaded frame are justified but the last frame in the story is not? I use object styles for text frames in various repeating projects (e.g. a quarterly newsletter) that have threaded stories that should normally justify to the top and bottom of the frame, and I get tired of changing the last frame to Top and also making sure no others are accidentally still set to Top from previous content that might have filled a different number of frames. Here's a simple example of what I mean:On the left, both frames are align=justify, but the on right, the second frame is align=top. I would prefer not to have to do that manually all the time.

I am wondering if you are able to have an object be allowed to export (say to a jpeg), but not print from InDesign itself. We use InDesign to create customer proof sheets. We need to show the background layer when we export the file to a jpeg, which we then email to the customer. We then print a copy for our records. Since the background prints gray, we'd prefer not to waste toner. Removing the backgound is not an option as it shows their artwork against the actual background of the final product. If I use the nonprinting option, the background won't print as expected, but it also will not export. Is there a way to set the background to export, but not print natively? I have to manually delete the background each time before print, after exporting. This is time consuming, considering we do thousands of these proofs. Any advice? Thank you in advance.

Hi,I have some troubles to print a PostScript file with InDesign CC 2017.When I open the print menu, I choose "PostScript®" printer, the PPD is Device-independentbut I cannot change the Format…So, when put my PS file in Distiller, my PDF file is completely cropped up… What can I do?

I'm working on a long book with a parent page for each of 29 chapters, only changing the running head to that chapter's title.We're adjusting the margins for the whole book, and I would love to apply the new margins, which I've applied to the first chapter, to the rest of the parent pages, instead of making the changes another 26 times.Is this possible? I couldn't find the answer in the help area.Thanks!Susan

I can set all the elements as I like.Now, I need to stop the paragraph text a bit before to avoid the text being too close to the number, as shown in the image. How to outline bullet points InDesign? I read that if I change the bullet points to type in the "paragraph styles" I could outline the bullets. When I did that I lost the tab. The bullet was outlined but I could not move the type horizontally to compensate for the lost tab.  

how can I get the words after '10' aligned?

I can no longer replace text from Share for Review comments. when I press copy, or right click to copy, nothing happens!! Now I have to manually type text. It was a problem last year resolved by a new version, but in 19.4 InDesign, this problem still appen. What's going on Adobe !?

Hi I haven't been able to resolve this issue.    How do I allow users to update their InDesign themselves, or have it autoupdate, but stop them from installing the next major release?     Currently they can install both updates and upgrades.  I have access to the Admin Console and their laptops are managed with Intune. thanks

When I make any new object in InDesign, it is automatically given text wrap. I know how to turn this off per object; how do I make InDesign stop automatically applying text wrap to objects? I see nothing in the setting which affect this. Thank you in advance!

Installed Smartstream Designer 2.5.1 not visible in InDesign CS6 on my Windows 10 PC.I am sure this worked on my previous PC which was Vista.I have tried to use the Compatibility Settings in Windows to no avail.To clarify I have installed Smartstream on the PC into Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Adobe InDesign CS6/Plug-ins Folder.Anyone out there with any ideas, please.Thanks

HelloI'm afraid I'm very new to this so may not have the correct language. I have just made a newsletter in indesign and thought the borders of the text boxes would disappear when I converted it to PDF. This isn't the case and it looks very messy. Is there a way I can get rid of them or have I done it all wrong in the first place? Thanks

good morning,I need to maintain old InDesign developments in CEP9; but I can't find a page describing the Indesign DOM for this version; in particular, I need to modify a jsx file that generates HR PDFs ; the parameters I need to modify are RGB to CMYK conversion and output to "FOGRAXXXX". Can anyone help me? thx

When I search for a specific Paragraph style in my document (Body in this case) and add a specific characteristic to find a specific override (Align left in this case), when I start the search it will ignore the paragraph style I specifically chose completely and jump to everything else that has align left as a characteristic. When I remove align left, it'll find the Body style again. Here's a screencap (In Dutch) of my search and how the cursor still jumps to a style that is not Body, but Opsom 123 niv 1 in this case.This makes no sense to me as I am looking for the combination of Body and Align left specifically, nothing else.Any idea if i'm doing something wrong? or a correct way of searching for this?Thanks!

Hello,I have an issue where the indesign file and the pdf file are clean and look great.  When I send to the printer some of the images have white blotches around them.  I have shared 2 different places where this is happening.  Some of the images are from the printer so they are not great but you can see the white bloches.  I am not a graphic designer and have been using the program and learning as I go.  Any help would be appreciated as I am looking to get this printed.
