Title: Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 causes complete system shutdown/restart when selecting another photo during AI DenoiseDescription of IssueLightroom Classic 15.5.1 causes my Windows PC to suddenly shut down/restart when I select another photograph while AI Denoise is processing an image.The problem is highly reproducible.AI Denoise itself works correctly. I can process several RAW files consecutively and I have successfully completed a batch of four photographs.However, while Denoise is still processing, if I click another photograph in the filmstrip to select it, the computer suddenly shuts down/restarts.Simply hovering the mouse pointer over other photographs, which displays their preview in the Navigator, does NOT cause the problem. Using LR Classic on a Mac.  I copied my 4 TB (original RAW files) ext HD to an 8 TB SSEHD.  How do I get the LR catalog to find the images on the new disc?  I can move some folders individually.  But others don’t seem to be successful.  There must be an easier way to connect the new disc to the LR catalog.

Soy fotógrafa de paisajes y astrofotos. Por lo tal, suelo editar utilizando máscaras.Pero hay un ajuste preestablecido propio de Ligthroom que se llama "mate", y lo he adoptado a mi estilo fotográfico en más de una ocasión.Pero solo me permite utilizar ese preset en la foto completa, no me lo permite usar sólo en la máscara. Por ejemplo: quiero editar el cielo por un lado, y el suelo por el otro.Al suelo con la máscara en uso, me gustaria aplicarle el preset "mate" y no lo permite, lo aplica en toda la imagen, no lo aplica en la máscara que tengo seleccionada.Esto sería muy útil, creo. Lightroom is failing to open and uninstall.

I use an external hard drive for my photos. Lightroom won’t show me the folders in that drive anymore. It used too. I’m only seeing 1 folder now.

Clear description blocked and deleted b/c min of 250start editing1 or 2 random ! show up every 90 seconds.No further editing allowedmust quit and reopen ! are gonerepeats forever 

Hoping for some help.  I am running the 15.5.1 updated version of LRC.  All of a sudden today I am having issues with the brush feature when using masks.  Both when I try to add a mask using a brush, but also when I select (e.g. ‘Subject’) and then try to use the brush to add or remove parts of the mask.  When I try to remove a portion of the mask the brush doesn’t do anything.  Interestingly, when I try to use the brush only, (with the show overlay box checked), it does not highlight the selection in the normal medium red color.  It looks like there is a small hint of red from the brush, but it is barely visible and adjustments don’t seem to really have much effect.  If I hit ‘create new mask’, then ‘select subject’ it highlights in a medium red just like it always has.  The brush feature just doesn’t seem to do anything anymore.  I’ve tested this brush issue with a radial gradient and a linear gradient, and the same issue, the brush does nothing anymore.  I’ve tried restarting.  This

This is a MacBook Pro M3. I just relinked many folders and Metadata panel says “File Not Found” - folder itself shows no error icon. Mix of Raw files and Jpegs, large library, 

I have been away from my computer for over 6 months, and when I returned, after my 1st shoot, I tried to import a small amount of photos (only 207), and convert to DNG. But while the files seem to be on my catalog now, the progress bar is stuck on the ‘building smart previews’ function. I left it running last night and just ejected my CF card, because I needed it for a shoot today. Today (24+hrs later) I’m doing a 2nd import, and the smart previews from yesterday still aren’t built, and now I have to do another import of today’s shoot, so there’s 3 progress bars running, with no end in sight for yesterday’s import.How do I get the imports to complete fully, and stop getting stalled or bogged down at the build smart previews stage?

I am trying to change a whole lot of virtual copies to ‘set copy as original’ in one go for Lightroom Classic on PC. I know the standard way; select image > photo > ‘set copy as original’ - but this can only do one at a time.I have discovered if you select all the virtual copies to change, you can leave out the selection step which speed the process up by a fair bit. The step goes as follow: select all virtual copies so they are highlighted > photos drop down > ‘set copy to original’;now instead of selecting the next virtual copy, adobe deselects the converted virtual copy automatically, and you can go straight back to the photo drop down > ‘set copy to original’ without needing to selecting the next copy, and continue this till all selected copies have been converted. unless there is another quicker way I am missing?  

Recently I moved all my photos to one external hard drive.  I created a new LR classic catalog.  I added my photos (29,000) to my LR classic catalog.  All were added.  Now, when I try to open LR Classic all I get is the spinning color wheel.

Depuis la mise à jour Lightroom Classic 15 et la conversion obligatoire de mon ancien catalogue, Lightroom Classic affiche en permanence « Synchronisation de 123 043 photos ». Le compteur ne change pas, même après plusieurs heures.Le catalogue contient 168 764 photos, dont 67 198 sont indiquées comme synchronisées. La synchronisation a parfois une activité CPU/disque/réseau, puis retombe à zéro sans progression visible.J’ai déjà : réparé Creative Cloud Desktop en recréant OPM.db, puis suspendu la synchronisation, quitté Lightroom Classic, sauvegardé le catalogue et renommé le dossier Lcc transfert 24.10.25 Sync.lrdata afin qu’il soit reconstruit.Mes originaux sont sur un disque externe G:, avec une sauvegarde E:. Je ne veux pas supprimer/recréer le catalogue, ni risquer les photos ou les collections synchronisées. Merci de vérifier côté serveur l’état de la file Lightroom Cloud et de m’indiquer la procédure de diagnostic ou de réinitialisation serveur appropriée.

Recently both of my Canon 5D4s (latest firmware; 14.0) began presenting with new bugs when tethering to my Macbook M5 Max (lates OS; OSX Tahoe 26.6.2) using Lightroom (lastest version; 15.5.1).Until 3 or 4 weeks ago there were no problems and tethering to Lightroom was usually very smooth.Now as soon as a camera is connected to Lightroom control on the camera of White Balance, ISO and, most critically, Autofocus is lost. Control returns to the camera as soon as the connection is ended. I have tried with multiple cables and checked and rechecked all the obvious focus settings that might cause issues, as well as permission settings and USB access settings on cameras and Macbook etc. The problem is identical in all circumstances.This renders my ability to shoot professionally unviable.Is this a known new problem?Any suggested workarounds?Apart moving over to Capture One? 

Everytime I open lightroom classis now and try to use my pixieset plugin I get the error code #1000 "Connection failed, please check your internet connection and try again". I have strong internet connection so this isn't the case. I am using Lightroom classic v 14.5.1 on Windows 11 and recently switched internet from spectrum to fiber, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I have removed and added the plugin several time as well. Would appreciate any insight, this has been very frustrating!!

I currently have 34,735 photos in Lightroom, which is just under 2TB of storage. Roughly 2/3rds of these are stored on an external 5TB SSD which is hooked up to my iMac M4, and edited with Lightroom Classic. The other 1/3rd are older photos that I don’t access often, and are on a second external 5TB SSD. These are still connected to the Lightroom library in case I need to edit any for a business client.My problem is that my internal hard drive (512GB) on my iMac is getting full. Out of the 512GB, there is 117GB of Lightroom catalogs (names like “Lightroom Catalog-2-v13-3.zip”), most of which are 3 - 4GB in size, so roughly ¼ of my iMac hard drive is backups for Lightroom. I would like to clean out what I do not need. However, I am not sure what I can safely delete out of these 36 backups.Could anyone help me figure out how to go about this, please?

Hello! I have been using Lightroom for a couple months now (my subscription covers Lightroom classic, desktop, and mobile) and recently all of my photos in Lightroom have become pixelated. This pixelation occurred seemingly at random, and happened to all photos I have in Lightroom - it had never been an issue before and I adjusted no settings around the time this began. It makes the photos more difficult to edit, as I typically zoom in quite far to remove small background objects, and the pixelation best be seen once you have zoomed in. The problem goes beyond editing, however, as my photos save with this pixelation as well. This is happening on all versions of Lightroom I use (classic, desktop, and mobile). I will attach examples photos to this post... Here is the first photo, saved to my device in February, before the pixelation happened. Fix the scaling of the top menu (File, Edit, etc.) so that the size can be changed.  On a 4k monitor the size is tiny and not readable.  Changing the windows scaling does NOT the make the menus size change.  Changing the size in Lightroom preferences also does not change the top menu size. Most other Apps, such Microsoft Word, etc.,. scaling will change the top menu size but in Lightroom.  This problem has been around for 5+ years and it is NOT a Windows problem (their Apps scale).  See attached screenshot.  The ONLY way I found to change it is too change the monitor resolution to something lower than the actual monitor resolution.  That is NOT a fix.

Running MacOS,  15.7.9, LRC 15.5.1Clicked to create a virtual copy and stack count was updated to 2 on the thumbnail, but no thumbnail appeared for the virtual copyTried to expand the stack to show the original and virtual copy. Did not work. Clicked on the stack count and it changed to indicate I was seeing the virtual copy 2. Made edits to virtual image and clicked on stack count to go back to the original image (1 in the stack)  and it shows the changes made on the virtual copy. Click again to create another virtual copy and the stack count is updated to 3. Same behavior. Any editing changes to image are made to original regardless of which virtual copy the stack count shows is being displayed.  Clicked on Unstack and the stack count icon disappears from the thumbnail of the image, but no virtual copies of the original are displayed. This test was done in a folder with one image only. After the unstack step above the folder count showed 3 photos, 

I see that other people are having an issue with the before /after on LrC upgrade on our macs. I have an iMac and it is really annoying that it is blank when I hit the YY. Please fix asap.

After updating LRC v 15.5, I am unable to control or change camera settings on my camera when shooting tethered. The camera will not allow me to change apertures, shutter speed, ISO, focus points etc.When i disconnect tethering, it works fine.I am using Canon R5, Macbook Pro, Sequoia 15.7.1

Ever since LRC 15.2 I’m no longer able to create AI masks on any image. It starts to createthe mask then exists the mask creation with out creating the mask.  I’m on the latest build of LrC and have updated the drivers for my Nvidia 5020 GPU. I do not get the same behavior on Mobile.
