Hi,I'm so sorry, I've tried searching the forums, but I can't find an answer and I'm a little desperate.I very STUPIDLY cropped an important document, and then did a few extra edits to it. Problem? I can't go far enough back in the history to undo the crop.HOWEVER. I haven't saved the document, yet. Is there any way to fix this?My problem is... my last save is QUITE a while ago and I'd done a LOT of work between saving and stupidly cropping.Is there any hope for me?Thank you so much for you time,— A very desperate and stupid comic artist

It's been a weird week for my Photoshop workflow. This was all working as of week, but just started acting up over the last couple days. Running 27.0.0, on 2024 ROG Strix 64Mb RAM with a GeForce RTX 4060. I have cloud and stable settings turned on, and haven't made any changes to system other than standard updates in over a month, Except updating to Ps 2026 (V 27.0.0) Graphics drivers are up to date. Select subject just selects the whole canvas... switching to Device Mode does nothing. This was all working perfectly fine last week, is this an update issue, should I just roll it back and wait for the Adobe boffins to sort things?

He probado múltiples desisntalaciones e intalaciones, incluso en otra unidad de disco, pero siguen si aparecer los iconos de la barras de herramientas. ¿Solución? I’m trying to use the Generative Fill tool in Photoshop, but I keep getting the error message: “This feature is currently not available.” I selected the transparent area under my photo and clicked on Generative Fill, but it won’t work. Could someone help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Hey Community, after the update some days ago the option in the filter category -> render filters - > Lightning Effects is completely missing. Not greyed out (like openGL or cmyk mode). It's just gone. I've used it for YEARS and now it just disappeared? Any news regarding the effect? Was it removed in the version? Or maybe moved to another category?Does anyone got the same issue?Running on Win 11GPU is a RADEON 6900XTThanks for help

I made a rough selection using the quick selection tool. I clicked on the "select and mask" button. It opens up in the proper window and shows the unselected area with a red mask. However, when I click on one of the tools, say the refine edge tool and try  to use it nothing happens. Same for the other tools as well.

Hi, hope someone can help, I am trying to track down a compatible version of DNG converter app (for Mac) as the current version available isnt compatible with my computer.Adobe, in their infinite wisdom, have removed all previous versions and despite getting in touch with their labourious online chat system their standard reply is 'update to the latest Mac OS'...something I can't do currently - and knowing they do exist would rather not shell out for a whole new machine just to overcome this very simple problem...(Feels very much like pulling LR6 support 'update your computer' seems a standard reply, which is utterly ridiculous). So, if there is anyone out there with a link/resouce to these it would be greatly appreciated. I run one machine on 10.12.6 (Sierra) and another on 10.11 (El Cap)... Many thanks!

hey everyone i am new to adobe photoshop and when i erase it takes more then one clickmeans when i click it erase but still it is visible but it is light and it take 1 to 10 or 5 clicks to erase it all can you help me with this

Hi all,I'm just starting out trying to use layers and following tutorials on Youtube, and one tutorial has shown me how to create a background and a brush layer - then advises you only have to drag and drop a photo in your files onto it to create another layer.Nope.I googled the problem and there are two "fixes" I've encountered - one the "regedit" fix here, and the other going in and unselecting "run as admin".I've done both of these and still no ability to drag and drop. I've been trying various solutions I found on Youtube for literally an hour and a half and I am practically pulling my hair out in clumps.I'm on a PC laptop, running Windows 11.If it's somehow impossible for me to enable this function, is there any other way to add a photo from my files as a new layer instead of opening up an entirely new tab for it? At the moment it looks like I can't use layers in the way they are supposed to be used at all because I can't do something as simple as click and drag images. It is EXTR

The creative cloud app shows that version 27.0 is installed, but the "About Photoshop" in Photoshop still shows vresion26.11.1. I have a new Windows 11 computer, and 26.11.1 runs great on it. What would cause version 27.0 not install over 26.11.1? (I'm older, but I really don't know how else to describe the issue.)

I was using my droplets this morning with no issue.  Without changing anything whatsoever, I tried to use a droplet I've already used this morning and got the JavaScript code was missing error.  I can verify that the Javascript hasn't moved nor has it been altered in any way.  Photoshop hasn't been updated or closed between using this droplet successfully and it failing.  I'm on the 27.0.0 release using a Mac running Sonoma 14.5.

I am reaching out to understand why UXP (the new plugin framework) does not expose a direct API to trigger and run existing ExtendScript (.jsx) files. In CEP (Common Extensibility Platform), we had the ability to use evalScript to run ExtendScript code within the same workflow. This offered immense flexibility and allowed us to leverage the full power of Photoshop scripting alongside UXP’s new features. However, with UXP, this functionality seems to be completely missing, and I am left wondering:Why doesn't UXP allow us to run legacy .jsx scripts directly from the plugin?Why isn’t there an official way to trigger scripts that are already installed in Photoshop (e.g., in the Scripts folder) via UXP?Is there a specific limitation or future roadmap that prevents UXP from including a function like evalScript?The ability to run scripts and control Photoshop deeply was one of the core strengths of CEP. I create Instagram carousels DAILY for myself and my clients, some are minimal but most are creative and have seamless designs to make them unique.  This update limited the sizing for exports to 8192px, absolutely destroying my workflow.    Please reverse this or fix it.  Instagram increased carsouel from 10 posts to 20, my canvases are 10800 or 21600, 8192 isn't going to cut it.

Hi guys,I am new to this community but have used Adobe Photoshop CS6 for a long time. I have been pushed into a situation where I have to build out a Windows 11 based laptop and need to reinstall Photoshop CS6 Extended. I have an original DVD and the install went as expected. I am now struggling with applying the official patch that will get me to the final CS6 updated status. Like many others, I have no desire to move to cloud based computing so I do not want the new updater/updates.I have searched through many posts on here and all seem to point to the need for me to get ApplicationManager6.2_all.exe to facilitate the load of the official patch. I have clicked on numerous old dead links shown in this community and searched the internet. There are lots of fake sites out there but I have had no luck.My request for help here I don't believe is illegal - can somebody please help me with a copy of this file? I am happy to provide proof of having the kosher media and product code. I c

I'm trying to create a mockup in Photoshop where I apply a rug pattern onto a cushion. I have photos of the object (the cushion) from 7 different angles, and I want to automate the process using a script inside Photoshop. I can do this manually using the Vanishing Point tool, but it's very time-consuming. When I try to automate it with an action, it doesn't record the Vanishing Point steps. And when I try to use a script, it can't access the Vanishing Point tool either.Is it possible for a script to open a Smart Object, insert the pattern into it, and transform it into the required perspective automatically? I have around 700 patterns to apply, so doing it manually isn't really an option. Can someone help?  

Today I am getting this error messsage when I try to open any photoshop file:"Photoshop not load the user measurement presets file Photoshop does not recognize type of file". I have tested it on loads of PS files which yesterday I could open fine. I recently updated to PS27.0 in c reative cloud. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop but getting the same message. Need help with this ASAP!  

Hi, we have Adobe design std (licensed, certificated etc, we have all documents proving that it was bought legally) bought in 2012 (we could use it at that time and it worked normally). We have tried to log in there some time ago but there is an issue with the key and we can not log in there. We have tried to contact someone to help us to solve the issue but of course with no solution, they say that they do not know the source of the purchase..So how it is possible that we have certificate? ...   So we spent our money and can not even use it. Can someone competent help us here? Thank you. 

Is there a way to completely remove this? Even if you make a selection with a large feather radius it is still feathering it regardless, that selection is just invisible. The people here that are answering it are treating it as an error and the only symptom is to not use a large amount of feather strength and try again. The message is really annoying, as I use frequently I might add. So I was wondering if somebody out there could make a script or help me find one, because google itself is littered with this question, but the "resolved answer" doesn't really do anything or relate to what I am asking.Any ideas?I've been dealing with it for years, sure I can deal with it some more, but I just thought it would be fixed down the road, as it is a rather strange bug to leave lying around.

HiHave above complete with CD and code. After updating from Windows 10 to 11, I cannot get my version activated. The servers are no longer online. What to do?
